it  was  of  course  quite  obvious  that  william  had  become…  avoidant,  recently.  his  usually  very  frequent  visits  to  the  danish  quarters  fading  into  nonexistence,  his  need  for  closeness  and  company  fizzled  out  and  turned  into  exhaustion  at  only  the  thought  of  being  around  other  people. damage caused to two of the relationships most important to him had left him feeling empty and lost.  now,  on  top  of  it  all,  his  father  had  set  in  motion  the  plans  of  marriage  on  his  behalf.  without  him  getting  a  say  in  it  at  all, as  was  of  course  most  usually  the  way  when  his  father  was  involved.  he  did  in  all  honesty  not care  of  how  people  found  out  about  it  -  there  was  only  one  person  he  felt he had to personally deliver the news to.  one  he  had  of  course  missed  terribly  during  his  bout  of  isolation,  yet  couldn't  bring  himself  to  seek  out  before  now  that  it  felt  as  if  he  had  no  other  choice.

he  did  not  know  where  they  stood,  their  previous  conversation  still  looming  at  the  forefront  of  his  mind  as  an  unwanted  reminder  of  how  pathetically  quickly  jealousy  had  made  him  push  where  he  usually  would  pull.  how  little  it  had  taken  for  him  to  turn  his  back  in  fear  of  being  left  behind.  he  felt  like  an  intruder  in  his  own  home,  walking  up  to  the  door  leading  to  tyr’s  chambers.  as  was  his  habit,  he  knocked,  and  did  not  wait  for  a  response  before  letting  himself  in.

The always present storm of madness residing within tamed, restrained; making her appear both divine and demonic at the same time. Rozália relaxed further into the chair, the only thing missing from her visage was a crown of gold and horns.

“Distract me, James.” the request soft spoken as she held a hand out in invitation. Once she was also a believer of love weakening spirits, yet now she felt unstoppable. Most importantly: content and whole. She also remembered the anguish, fresh like it happened yesterday when James died on the Flying Dutchman. She remembered the inhumane feat of mutilating the psychopomp of the dead with liquid lightning in her veins and preserving his body till life returned into him thanks to Calypso. And Jack for telling her. How could she ever think love would weaken?

“You know, this, all of this wouldn't have been possible without you.” gem eyes held unspoken volumes of love, now used to showing it so openly. While he wasn't the father of her child, it didn't make him less.

“I always needed you as well. Greedy, I know. But what else did you expect?” a gentle shake of her head, a quiet and almost proud smile

“Pirate.”

Rozália wore the label now, although more like a quiet agreement than such open admission. Thanks to him, to Jack and most importantly her daughter she was given a true second chance. To be more than a serial killer with a ship. To love, to protect, to lead; as she was born to do so. And if those things in this world came with that label, be it.
