Ah ! Voici un autre labbe :D

Celui ci est différent (et en plus il est passé un chouilla plus près !) : sa queue se termine en une sorte de grosse spatule, ses épaules sont mouchetées de plumes noires, la base de son bec est nettement noire.. nous sommes face à un labbe pomarin !

Il est un peu plus gros que le labbe parasite, ce qui en fait un pirate sans vergogne (encore pire que son cousin) : non content de piquer les proies des autres oiseaux marins, il lui arrive de les tuer et les bouffer directement

Another Note is crazy because the entire story is the result of the worst game of telephone you've ever seen. It's narrated by Mello, writing it years later after he learned all this information from L, who is, by the way, a Chronic Bullshitter. In fact the story is INCAPABLE of being even halfway true. Because it's not even L's story. It's from Naomi's point of view. My brother in Kira you made half that shit up 😭😭

i like to think that Beyond Birthday's extremely exaggerated imitation of L's habits was actually completely accurate to how L acted in the past, and BB was just basing his act off of a younger, more unhinged L, which was lost when L got older or something.

Ruined the lives of all of L’s successors, put immense pressure on everyone until someone killed himself, someone else went on a killing spree and another person willing and knowingly sacrificed themselves just to be of use. *spits on the ground by its feet*

wammys in L change the worLd: everyone fucking loves watari so much L feels so guilty that he died that he considers himself personally responsible. There were generations before and after L and in them only 26 per generation got a letter signifying that only if they wanted to, their specific interests could help them change the world. The mere thought of it redeems one of the main villains (an ex-wammys kid)

wammys in the anime/manga: woahh look at that look place L came from (never mentioned again)

wammys in the 2015 tv drama: seemingly just watari and his two(three) adopted sons that he loves more than anything. Simultaneously the most heartwarming and heartbreaking thing ever

Soudain arrive un véritable pirate. Les labbes sont en effet des spécialistes de l'abordage : ils ne pêchent pas, ou peu, et fondent sur d'autres oiseaux marins exerçant l'honorable profession de pêcheur pour leur piquer le fruit de leurs efforts.

Celui ci est hélas passé un peu loin du bateau, et la qualité des photos n'est pas top mais permet tout de même l'alimentation. Les plumes de la queue forment une pointe, le plumage à la base de son bec est blanc, le blanc du ventre est nettement délimité ..

Il s'agit donc d'un labbe parasite

It's rather clever, to write Ryuzaki as so closely resembling L but just slightly taking it too far. Eating jam straight from the jar with his fingers. Drinking pure sugar wetted with coffee. Scuttling on the floor like a crab. When you read it you're thinking "this is a bit much, even for L...", but it's not so much more that it takes you out of the story. With just a little extra nudge of eccentrism, you could imagine L doing it. But it's not him, it's an intentional pastiche. It's someone playing a caricature.
