Lalapril 2024 🌼 Day 9: Emotion

Though the Final Days have been averted, and the star itself has found a new peace and prosperity, the Elpis flowers in Hali’s childhood home of Labyrinthos still remain a steel grey colour… reflecting the emotions of the Labyrinthine researchers: anxiety, uncertainty, fear of the unknown future. Since there was no exodus, and there will no longer be a Final Days to worry about, the researchers, Hali’s parents included, have lost their purpose. But perhaps Hali can help them all find a new purpose… a new dream, just as she has.

FFXIV: Running the end of Labyrinthos and going to go meet someone!

Today's spread was so on the nose, it really magnifies why I love the practice of tarot so much. It is reassuring to use the mirror of the cards to know my own feelings, put names to them, and arrange them in a way that makes sense.

It's been a hell of a season. Big changes are happening that are immensely difficult, but I think brighter days are possible, and maybe not that far away.

When we moved recently I went through all of my tarot/Oracle decks while packing, so I pulled one of my favorites out for a quick three card reading .

My question was "should I romantically pursue my friend w?"

First, current state of affairs = wheel of time. Change is inevitable.

Second, what actions can I take = two of cups.

Third, expected result of actions = empress

Soooo. That happened 🤣

My interpretation below the break

I take the wheel as saying whether I initiate a shift or not, things will change.

Two of cups feels pretty obvious. Actions I can take is initiating a romantic shift. Two become one. My reluctance to travel vs his wanderlust. My comforts of home and affection vs his spartan home and insecurity. But also recognizing those differences and not expecting change in who he is.

Empress makes me raise my eyebrow. I have zero interest in pregnancy, but I'm not actually sure if he wants children. Other than the literal "motherhood" and "fertility" I do vibe with this outcome. Grounding in home and nature, nurturing, and bringing abundance are all things I strive for. Providing for a partner is my goal.

Overall seeing two major arcana pop up is always a spicy time. And two of cups feels very on brand for a question about a romantic pursuit
