If we were from Warsaw we would be called "Children of the W hour" and it would be sick also we would get cancelled for joking about world war ii. The book by Władysław Rejmont and the movie by Andrzej Wajda that share the name with us, have this moody, blasphemous, queer, xix century vibe that we share as a group. Also "The Promiseland" has kind of a ring to it, that "The Doll" wouldn't at least for me. "Lalka" even as the warsaw-book in a sense, wouldn't have the same coalition of everything that we deem important to our souls and asses. ((...tho' Kitku kins the Stanisław Wokulski H A R D)) Lalka is a title that doesn't say shit about what Warsaw is for people, only that Prus thinks Łęcka is a doll.
