Me and Josefine took some pictures of our kits in Visby this weekend. This is some of my oldest pieces, but with regular boots as my handsewn got wet and were drying. The black underdress and the grey apron has been with me since I started sewing. Although many things can be said about the mistakes I made and the *cough* let's say "fantasy inspired take", it's some of my most comfortable pieces, and I'll probably keep them till they fall apart.

Been working on my first big leather tooling project, working on a leather pauldron. There was a pauldron I really wanted I saw online, but it was way outside of the budget, especially after the $360 ticket to the larp event. O.o Ended up being way more affordable to get the leather and the leather working tools and learning to do it myself.

These are pics from last night, since then I've wet molded them, and they've been out in the sun all day drying to their new shapes. More pics later! :)

@zaitan1 took this absolutely stunning photo of @chichi76.myreflection at @empire_lrp Event 2 this year, and I just love the Tabard/Banner I got to make. It was an on-going design process until we had both nailed the design we wanted. It is made up of multiple pieces of embroidery stitched together as well as hand-painted cameos of two sginificant figures.
