Planet Saphfire - Mid Bank Heist Ten Minutes of Utter Chaos “Hands behind your head, punk!” Blonde Launch shouted while gesturing with her rifle. Once everyone was on the ground and tied securely, she vaulted over the desk and began dragging the teller over to the vault by her collar. “C’mon sweetheart, we don't have all day!” She had to act quickly; their plan had already gone awry when Raditz had encountered Turles and found himself neck to neck with the unassuming suit– who was secretly just as muscle bound as he. Beneath the shelter of Turles’s desk, Launch cradled her legs to her body and trembled as the cold, merciless voices in the background echoed throughout the bank, each shouted threat making her flinch as if struck. “You gotta ‘bout 10 seconds to open the safe, or else your brains will be splattered on it!’ Launch grimaced at Lasche's horrible wording. She was always the poetic one… She thought, then kneeled just so she could peek over the desk, where a cookie still sat uneaten. It reminded her how just moments ago things had been peaceful, happy even. And now… everything was chaos. She jumped up when the door suddenly dented inwards and ripped from the hinges with a bright red flash of light. A body thudded against it, then fell to the ground sickeningly hard. “Turles!” her voice ripped out of her throat unexpectedly– it was not as if he were her lover… Or even her boyfriend, but she still felt strong affection for him; which was now making itself known in the heat of the moment. A shadowy figure approached, his white, fanged grin the only visible feature as he pushed the door the rest of the way. Launch backed up into a corner, not knowing what to do. Her only hope was burning within her clenched fists as the masked man came closer. The hot, blue-white ki from her hands became aflame, and she thrust them out before herself. “Come any closer, and you'll be flambéed alive!” “You'd roast me, your favorite cookie consumer?” a familiar voice replied, light and teasing. “I thought you were–!” "It's okay, Launch. I'm fine. Now, let's—" Before he could finish, something yanked Turles violently by the ankle, knocking him off balance. His body crashed to the ground, and his head struck the corner of the desk with a sickening crack. "Turles!" Launch shrieked, the word tearing from her throat even more raw than the first time. From the splintered remains of the doorway emerged a towering figure—broad-shouldered, armored, and laughing. The sound was dry and rasping, thick with smug satisfaction. “He was rusty,” the figure sneered. “Too bad. So sad.”
