Ralph Bakshi Resources Masterpost

A Few years ago I was Introduced to Ralph Bakshi due to Paramount+ Adding his 1992 film Cool World to it's streaming service, when I saw the film on my recommended I watched and enjoyed it and now I've seen more films from Bakshi due to me finding and searching.

Just recently I saw @groovegalz Beatles Resource Master post which inspired me to make this Resource Masterpost, please go give them all the love and support because it takes forever to find resources like these and they deserve all the support and love!

So to celebrate black history month in a big way, I decided to watch a Ralph Bakshi animation movie called Coonskin & man that was a dope movie to celebrate black culture as it's also a middle finger to all the oppressors against them plus man it rightfully goes all in with the R Rating something that not even Sausage Party did as it was like "Hey this cute thing just swears a lot!" But with Coonskin, it goes ALL in on sensitive topics to show what happened to the culture alongside some dope main leads fighting back oppression, so yeah now I truly understand what makes Ralph Bakshi so talented & can't wait to see more of his work besides knowing thanks to Just Stop's ranking videos on Ralph's Movies

This character right here is basically a Brandon Roger’s character and even sounds identical to him. Like sounds just like him. If you close your eyes you can probably imagine this as any Brandon Rogers character. I probably wouldn’t put it past Brandon Rogers to say half of the things this character says anyways.

Tbh most of the gay stereotypes in this movie remind me of Vivziepop characters too. Maybe she watched this movie one day and figured “That’s what I want all of my characters to be”
