“She was a Canadian heroine of the War of 1812. She is known for having walked 20 miles (32 km) out of American-occupied territory in 1813 to warn British forces of an impending American attack. Her contribution to the war was little known during her lifetime, but since her death she has been frequently honoured in Canada. Though Laura Secord had no relation to it, most Canadians associate her with the Laura Secord Chocolates company, named after her on the centennial of her walk.”

We didnt have a private yard when i was a kid so i used to bury my pet mice in a land next to the nearby communal garden. That way, according to my grandmother, their ghosts would come out at night and go eat the vegetables growing there ;_;

first (and first-ish) dates i've been on with guys: coffee. dinner. they always suggest movie but i always say no. coffee. dinner. coffee. dinner. build-a-bear but he did no research into it so when we got there we found out it'd been closed for well over a year and was actually a laura secord chocolate shop and an international cigar shop crammed into the space. etc etc

first (and first-ish) dates i've been on with girls: collecting wastewater samples for government research and riverbed core samples. picnic outside the gates to an international airport to watch the planes go by (we were on public land and they called the cops on us lol). plotting a corn maze with a drone and then cutting the path. visiting every library in the city and ranking them. going to see some fistulated cows. the lofty goal of visiting every geocache in toronto (obviously we did not). etc etc

I only know about the avro arrow. I know more about human history, technically like people, like specific people. Like I could probably write a whole essay about Mary the first of England if I really wanted to.
