It was the largest wooden temple in Ukraine which even survived World War II. See how it looked like 💔 There is currently no information on the dead and injured people. However, it was reported that in addition to the monastery's brothers and sisters, there were about 300 civilians in the temple, including the disabled, the elderly, and about 60 children, including infants. There is nothing sacred for Russian soldiers, and today they proved it once again. This is not the first case of Russian #barbaric aggression against the #Svіatohirs Lavra: three #monks were killed in the shelling on May 30. The Orthodox Church of Ukraine served for the first time in the Assumption Cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. Believers listened to the service even on the street - not all could fit into the church.
