I played Bullet a lot because I connected it with one of my all-time favorite stories (Cyberpunk 2077) so I had a period where it was stuck like glue. The other two are just. The LC song is so fucking good. Like I cannot shut up about it, sometimes. I think about it constantly. It has the dog motif and sexual innuendos and it talks about how love makes you feel cliche and embarrased but it's beautiful and you're constantly trying to be earnest. Third song is more upbeat, but I've always loved the concept of wanting to stay in a dream because the dream feels better than reality and that's kinda what the song is about!

This all just boils down to AMC’s greed, doesn’t it? They’ve repeatedly treated their actors like shit. Lauren Cohan. Chandler Riggs. Now it seems like they’ve screwed poor Melissa over, too. The TWD “extended universe” isn’t being extended out of passion for the story and world they’ve created. It’s all just an effort to keep their zombified cash cow stumbling along. And who’s their biggest money maker? NR. Gotta keep him happy so he stays. The sad thing is, TWD only became what it is now because of the talent of a few core cast members. MMB blew everyone away, and turned a character that was supposed to be zombie fodder into an absolute fan favourite. The Daryl/Carol relationship - the glue that’s arguably held the show together through so much controversy and so many shitty writing choices - came almost entirely from NR and MMB. TPTB got lucky with their connection, chemistry and their abilities to bring their characters to life (particularly Melissa’s). The show could have crumbled entirely when AL left - it SHOULD have considering it lost it’s main character, and they killed Carl for the shock factor shortly beforehand. But it didn’t, because NR, DG, LC and MMB (and some others) were still there to bring life to their characters despite them being written so poorly. The audience were willing to overlook this and stick by the show because of this. Or course you could argue MMB was being paid well etc, but she clearly loves Carol and wanted to continue her story. Yet, TPTB didn’t learn from screwing over their previous cast members and did it again. I’m rambling, but yeah - it’s greed. The creators haven’t seen anything except pound signs when looking at TWD for years. I just hope MMB is doing okay.
