(ACE) TRAINER LAZARUS

TEAM: Ceruledge, Cofagrigus, Dhelmise, Aegislash, Hydreigon, Florges

Domestic, not used to battle: Galvantula, Mothim, Zangoose

Lazarus is a Normal Guy who appears unassuming as a trainer at first but her team is WEIRDLY strong and she always sweeps her opponents. He absolutely has the potential to beat the entire league and become the Champion- but she doesn't want to, because he wants to stay right by Levi's side and assist her with Gym Leader stuff.

GYM LEADER LEVIATHAN

TEAM: Jellicent, Wishiwashi, Huntail, Gyarados (Mega)

Not used for battling: Seaking, Porygon, Seviper

Also I didn't mention this in Laz's bit but they've mutually adopted a Mimikyu it belongs to both of em.

Leviathan is a fairly strong Gym Leader (gym 6/8) and she puts up a pretty good fight, since she knows a lot about battling and puts a lot of effort into his battle strategies! Buuuuuut. She's an EXTREMELY sore loser. If a challenger beats him, he always throws a major fit about it and refuses to give them the badge. Sometimes if he's REALLY bitter about the loss, she even decides to, um. Call in her husband.

Right! Whenever Levi loses a battle particularly badly, she always goes straight to Lazarus whining about it, brings him over, and pulls out the "OKAY, well! If you can beat her, then I'll give you the stupid badge!", because she knows his husband is really tough and no one has ever been able to beat her yet. It's not playing fair but he doesn't care about that 🎉

Lazarus goes along with it and does as she says of course because she loves her wife but regardless of the battle's outcome, he always manages to talk Levi into giving the poor trainer the badge anyway. She just has to hold her and reassure him a bunch afterwards w

ok the possibility of vander being warwick makes all of this SO much fucking worse i'm going to start sobbing. the man who put down his weapons to help his city and raise his kids in a safer world, who purposefully chose peace as often as possible and kept himself from seeking (fairly justified!) revenge... is then forcibly made into a creature whose explicit purpose is to act as a weapon (whose hands are taken to become weapons), who literally can't choose anything but going straight for hate and violence as the only possible outcome to any negative emotion. he's been through war and fury and knows it's not the answer because it almost destroyed him and the people he loves, but he isn't given any other choice! his own name is taken and then even his title is twisted like singed is trying to mock him.

if he's even scared, he's forced into anger.

Oh my god I’m imagining the kind of chaos levi had to face with hanji and mr.mime as a comedic duo

Mr Mime and Hange would be so fun :') just imagine their shenaningans and a hopelessly tired Levi trying to keep them from burning their Gym down

I just love how we collectively decided that Levi in every AU is just a hopessly in love with Hange but so so tired of Hange and their partner in crime xD

I've been hearing a lot about how season 3 is Bo-Katan fan fiction

Like the Mandalorian hasn't basically been a fan boys wet dream of a fan fiction since season 1? Like Din killing Bane? Total fanfiction move. And bringing in Luke wasn't a fanfiction move?? Ahsoka appearing? Bringing Boba Fett back to life?? HELLO?!

Admittedly I see this bitching about Bo-Katan mainly from new fans and women haters, the latter I'm not gonna bother with, but the former? They don't understand just how much this show isn't for them, this show has had call backs to the clone wars series since season 1, and season 3 was full of Rebels characters, the Mandalorian has ALWAYS been serious fan service, you just don't know that unless you've watched the animated series. Din was never going to rule Mandalore, Bo-Katan has spent near her whole life fighting for it, of course she was going to be the one to unite Mandalore and rule it.

I hope for the new fans that season 4 is for you and it goes it's own way, because seasons 1-3 were total fan service, not just 3
