Portrait of an Unknown Woman, ca. 22BBY. No one knows the true identity of this Naboo woman, though there is suspicion she was a Jedi.

or: a pencil portrait of Ailani Réillata, created by the amazingly talented @ailani-reillata. This was done in a sketchbook with a papermate 0.7 mm mechanical pencil. It took me four days. The lighting in the final photo was edited to be set to the “vivid cool” settings on an iphone camera on top of my own modified lighting settings. The caption is because as far as I remember after her death she is sadly forgotten to time, and I wondered what would happen if someone had ever drawn her in-universe and it was found decades later. I focused a LOT on her expression because I didn’t want her to be too happy—I thought it would be fitting if she had a mask of seriousness over this bone-deep, tragic sadness. I hope I captured her well!
