First off this absolutely cursed AU was inspired by Lemonomelette and a post they made -X Secondly I imagine it all being about bots and cons trying to one up each others factions and not actually helping in any serious way because their too busy with their own faction bs.

Think of two rival car dealerships across the street one upping each other to get business and instead of business with cars its interstellar robot fairys trying to woo sm children to let them grant their inconsequential wishes (which may or may not be worth it) instead of the other guy next door.

survey is closed but I wanna express my love for my Madagascan hissing cockroaches! they're truly lovely little creatures, they shine like polished mahogany and I fall asleep to the rhythm of their hisses in the night. I give them kale, orange, raspberry, cucumber; sometimes I'll sit down with my own portion and watch them eat theirs. it's why I keep getting fresh fruits and vegetables for myself — they deserve good things, and I benefit from it! somehow they Know it's me when I pick them up. if someone else picks them up or holds them they hiss and scurry, but with me they are content to just hang out or leisurely crawl around on my hands. it's something I ponder often! how do they know it's me? is it by olfactory cues, or taste, or vision, or in the gentle pressure of my fingertips? or is it some other sense we are yet unaware of that helps them understand there is no need to react?

I don't have pets so they will love me. but I do think something so much smaller than me understanding I am not a threat is a kind of love

Please elaborate on the Powerwolf sign language video you did for class please 👀

ah yes! I wish I knew where it went bc showing is much more fun than telling but I've somehow lost the video over the years. basically Night of the Werewolves played in the background while I signed the lyrics. the professor really emphasized how sign language should involve facial expressions and strength of movement that reflects the emotional vibes of what you're conveying, so I performed it standing up with more intense motions than if I were in a conversation. lots of work bc it's a pretty fast song but so much fun! I still remember the intro bit very well, though I get tripped up trying to remember signs corresponding to the later lyrics.

"why do you talk about something awful so much" it has surprised me quite a bit as I've gotten older but the 2000s-2010s SA culture has only become more relevant to current events and media as time goes on, i assume from the natural watershed effects from people aging into their 30s and making media properties that go on to become incredibly influential. I was never a big poster there, I was a lurker 99% of the time and had zero influence on the site, so it's really not personal for me except for stuff like Dropsy, since I was there for the original thread. the SA millennials started popping up in noticeable ways as early as 30 Rock (recall the "lemon party" recurring joke for example) and as the younger members age into their prime output years we're just going to keep seeing more of it.
