Killers of the flower moon is definitely an interesting watch. It brings a unique focus of the time during Americas beginnings and changes from the Native American heritage to the early social developments and living conditions of Americans. It brings in some thoughts about the civil war era, or around that time.

A major symbolic image about this time in America, is the train. Metaphorical application of the train brings an awareness of taking a journey and all the implications associated. Using a train within media application brings a sense of identification with the characters or character riding the train.

Another movie that has trains as a focus is the movie bullet train. This is next on my list to watch after this movie.

The title of this movie made me initially think of the possibility of a murder mystery and conspiracy, but it is entirely not a focus about that. As far as the main actors involved with this movie I’ve never been disappointed with Robert Dinero and his acting talent and have always admired him.

I never was a fan to the titanic movie, and had some negative beginning opinions about Leonardo DiCaprio being a female trend of a heart throb actor with definite possibilities of boy band similarities, but later he did elevate his dynamic career as an actor with movies like the departed, shutter island, and inception for my main focuses about DiCaprio. My views of him have definitely changed since, and regardless of my personal views of the titanic, he does have traditional acting talent and reputation as an actor to be even sought after and promoted by studios for acting roles.

LeonardoDecaprio has long term standing acting relations with Robert De Niro in three previous films before killers of the flower moon. Needless to say Leonardo Decaprio is not cheap by any means. His net worth is estimated currently at 300 million dollars, mainly from his acting career. Robert De Niro is estimated at 500 million . I find it interesting about this 200 million difference and that both of them are leading actors, the life of the rich and famous suits them very well.

Quentin Tarantino - Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) It's really hard to judge films that are pretty great most of the way through, have real merit visually and as a script and then bungle the landing in the last like fifth of the film, but you do end up with a crappy taste in your mouth by the end of it which ends up coloring the whole experience. Once Upon a Time is one of those films. I loved a lot of it, the tributes to Spaghetti Western's more obscure directors like Sergio Corbucci and Antonio Margheriti, the title of the film itself being a tribute to Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West (one of my favourite films) and Once Upon a Time in America, all the cinematic in-jokes that could only come from a cinema-nerd such as Quentin, the acting was pretty great as well, and the whole thing had a pervasive sense of fun... with the Sharon Tate disaster hanging over our heads to kind of temper it. However, by the end of the film I was kind of tired of Quentin's fetishes, be they the foot fetish which is more present here than anywhere else with at least three conspicuous fore-groundings of feet, and none of the feet are male feet, of course. As the very end, which although it is understandable as a fantasy of "what should have happened" is also pretty much a male fantasy about "what is the killer had attacked tough guys instead of tiny Jay Seabring and Sharon Tate, the tough cowboys and stuntmen with pitbulls would have kicked their asses", as well as too much of a lingering pleasure taken in the violence towards the women murderers... enough is enough, particularly when nowhere near the same level of graphic gore is applied to the male murderer. You know, the girl's face was already smashed enough, no need for the repeated hitting of the mantlepiece... or for the flamethrower after the grueling pool scene. Tarantino is talented, but he's also an asshole.
