Toy Pick Of The Day - Visionaries Knights Of The Magical Light - Name: Leoric - Faction: Spectral Knight - Motto: "Whispered secrets of a shattered age I summon you, renew this sage!”
“In the absence of The King the Warrior becomes a mercenary, the Magician becomes a sophist (able to argue any position and believing in none), and the Lover becomes an addict.”
― Robert L. Moore, King, Warrior, Magician, Lover: Rediscovering the Archetypes of the Mature Masculine
Scince some are asking what I've been up to the last roughly two years after leaving tumblr, I thought I'm gonna provide a little peek.
I was busy with work (as one is) and was on so many festivals and concerts I can hardly count. 🤘 Enjoying myself immensely most of the time. Also some naughty stuff (which is for the side blog)...
As I don't like to take selfies around people and try to avoid, I've started the questionable habit to take an 'obligatory bathroom selfie' on every concert for the people asking what I'm doing, so that's what that is 😂😅
" i don't deserve you. " , sent in by raven : @blighteds
it is in knee high bramble and bristle that leo's admission comes, thorns kept at bay by the thick deer hide of his boots. had the leather over his chest been thicker, rowe might have been saved from the words coming from his companions lips too; but nothing could prepare him for them. no amount of leather, nor finely crafted steel, could save his resolve from a plummet to the ground ...
the warlock frowns, the weight of his pact heavy on his mind ever since it had been made when the two of them were still but boys, and the world still seemed brighter yet still. how can leo see light in him, when that light was being suffused by inky black darkness? he tries to smile, tries to let the meaning behind the other man's words seep into him; but he can only taste fear.
for it is he who doesn't deserve leoric, loyal to rowe's family & house long past the massacre and beyond. what the paladin has done for the young man, has stained him in innumerable ways : his oath broken, his path on the high ground smeared to be walked down below. if it wasn't for rowe, he might still achieve something close to sainthood. but it's long past time to think on the " what could have been "'s ...
for now rowe is confronted with the very real blossom of something living between them, something mutually felt, even if not allowed yet to fully be admitted.
" you're wrong, you know. " we're perfectly suited.
Well...I finished my chaos/low influence route in HoT. These are my final stats, with influence as low as it can possibly go:
I did manage to kill everyone who could die:
But...I am a little disappointed in my ending. It's not really a bad ending at all. After 3 seasons of doing everything wrong, constantly pissing off all of the characters except for Gisella, and alienating all of my allies, I still managed to win the war thanks to Delias Ex Machina. I chose to execute Prince Alaric because I was hoping that the Xaelians would lay waste to Trespia as revenge, but nope--they just up and left for no reason. We didn't even get to actually see Leoric or Alaric's deaths!
I was really hoping for something more extreme, like Trespia being destroyed, Isrion being plunged into a never-ending conflict, or Ellaire being dethroned for good or maybe even dying. Oh well.
