“I swear I’m one shift away from throwing myself in the godforsaken ocean.” Sanji huffed angrily as he threw himself down in a nearby booth. The Baratie had cleared out for the night leaving the cooks to clean the line and the waiters to clean the dining room, but halfway through the dreaded cleanup Sanji had both metaphorically and physically thrown in the towel. The dish cloth he had been holding went flying across the room as he put his feet up on the booth he was in and groaned indignantly.

“That old shitbag won’t so much as let me breathe on the line! I’m a cook! Not a fucking waiter!” He yelled, turning his head back towards the kitchen, as if Zeff could hear his complaints.

“You think maybe it has something to do with the fact that you call him an ‘old shitbag’?” A voice came from the other side of his booth. A small smile curled his lips as he sat up some and peeked over the rounded edge of the red leather seat.

“Oh I’m sorry, did I interrupt your nap time madame?” Sanji laughed as he took in the sight of Y/n laying on her back with her eyes closed in the opposite booth. “So sorry for the inconvenience, but aren’t you meant to be cleaning tables?” He teased as Y/n cracked an eye open and glared at him.

“Aren’t you?” She asked with a sly grin, earning an eye roll and angry huff from the blonde.

“Seems the only thing I’m meant to do is slowly die from boredom in this trash heap of a restaurant.” Sanji sighed as he fell back into his seat, pulling out his lighter and messing with the lid. Y/n laughed softly before sitting up and resting her arms on the dividing seat. She placed her head atop her arms and looked at him with a mock pout.

“Awww is the best chef in the East Blue all bummed that his dad doesn't like his cooking? Again?”

Sanji snapped his lighter closed and raised a finger at Y/n, pointing aggressively at her with a snarl.

“I am the greatest chef in the East Blue. Even if that geezer can’t see it.” He stated, earning a chuckle from Y/n as she sat up and raised her hands in surrender.

“Easy now, no need to shout at a lady.” She cooed as Sanji chuckled and gave her an angry smile, hanging his head.

“How dare you throw my own principles back in my face.” He chuckled as he began fidgeting with the silver ring on his finger. Y/n sighed and rested her chin on her folded arms again, smiling softly at the mop of blonde hair in front of her. She reached over the divider and brushed some of his hair from his face, earning a soft hum from Sanji as he closed his eyes.

“I think we both know he’s only doing and saying these things because he wants the best for you. Though I’ll be the first to admit, his way of going about it is absolute shit.” She laughed as she watched his lips curl into a smile. He looked up at her, her fingers brushing against his cheek as he moved.

“Yeah, I know…” He sighed as he leaned his head back against the wall. She pulled her hand back and looked at him with sympathetic eyes. “But you're a stowaway as much as me.” Sanji joked, “And yet I’m the one being treated like a sniveling child every fucking time I step foot in that kitchen.” He huffed as he looked over at her through his bangs. She chuckled as she hung her arms over the back of his booth and cocked her head to the side.

“My dumbass thought I could be a pirate and got stuck here paying off a debt cuz’ my ship damaged the hull of this ‘trash heap of a restaurant’.” She fired back, using his own words. He opened his mouth to speak but soon closed it again as he shook his head.

“Yeah that was pretty dumb.” Sanji joked as he pulled his jacket off and tossed it to the seat beside him. Y/n gawked at him before laughing and reaching forward to hit him softly on the shoulder. He leaned away from her and shouted

“Oi! Don’t damage the goods!”

She looked at him with mocking wide eyes and barked a laugh,

“Both Patty and I would have to disagree with you on that one, lover boy.” She snarked as Sanji rolled his eyes. A calm silence filled the space as Y/n sat up on her knees and looked at Sanji. She could see something was going on inside his head, and she knew him well enough to infer that he wasn’t going to say a damn thing. She studied the way his brow furrowed and noted how his eyes seemed more gray then blue in moments like these.

There was a profound sadness in him that she had only caught glimpses of in her three years aboard this ship. A profound sadness that he had more or less shared with her one drunken night in the bar when they should have been sleeping. A profound sadness that she wished every single day she could lift from him. The two sat in silence as the ship rocked softly under them; Y/n felt compelled to speak, to do anything that might help ease his overactive mind.

“Still, knowing what I know, having Zeff treating you like this can’t be good for the ole’ psyche…”

Sanji tensed up slightly at her words and Y/n mentally kicked herself for making that insinuation. She wanted to help him, but after the words left her mouth she felt a heavy guilt fill her bones. She watched as he shut his eyes and took a deep breath before smiling ever so slightly.

“Trust me, love. I may complain like this from time to time-”

“Almost ninety-five percent of the time."

“Ooookay. Almost ninety-five percent of the time, but nothing is worse than… what I came from.” He gave her a somber smile and pulled out his lighter again, flipping the lid open and closed in an almost rhythmic pattern. She returned his sad smile and pushed her baby hairs from her forehead.

“Sorry. I shouldn’t have mentioned that.” She spoke softly as she looked out at the empty dining room; the tables were cast in an eerie candle light and the china adorning the tables glimmered like stars. Sanji looked at her, as her attention was placed elsewhere, and smiled fondly. He felt a warmth rise in his chest as he took in the curve of her profile. The slope of her nose, the length of her eyelashes, the round of her cheeks. The candle light of the empty room cast dancing shadows on her face that made her look otherworldly; he felt his smile, and eyes soften as he looked at her.

“Y/n I wouldn’t have told you about my shitty past if I didn’t trust you to check in on me like this every now and again.” Sanji spoke softly as Y/n turned her gaze back to him. She was almost stunned to see the expression on his face. The look in his eyes was, most of the time, reserved for the elegant ladies that entered the restaurant day in and day out. And yet here he was looking at her like that. She brushed the fond gaze off and swayed her head back and forth while giving him an apologetic look.

“I know, but it’s still not my place to dredge up old memories of abuse when I don’t even know the full story.” She responded, playing with the ends of her uniform shirt.

Sanji smiled at her and leaned forward in his seat, one hand braced himself on the seat top while the other reached forward and pulled her towards him. Y/n closed her eyes as she felt his lips press against her forehead.

“I appreciate you checking on me. It shows that you care.” He said softly, his words muffled seeing that his lips were still connected with her forehead. She smiled softly as he placed a loud exaggerated kiss to the skin there before pulling away and holding her face in his hand. “Okay?” He asked with a huge smile. She laughed at his theatrics and moved to stand up, leaving Sanji sitting alone in his booth as he looked up at her standing form.

“Whatever you say-” She began as she reached out a hand to help him up. He took it with a laugh and allowed Y/n to pull him to his feet. “-My favorite Baratie waiter.” She finished as she dropped his hand and started walking away from him, stifling her laughter. Sanji stood there with his jaw dropped as she walked away from him, his shock soon turning into a smile as he watched her shoulders shake from holding in her laughter. He let a chuckle slip out as he pushed up his sleeves and made a beeline for her.

“How DARE!” He yelled as he grabbed her from behind and lifted her off the ground slightly laughing as she yelped and then dissolved into laughter when she broke free. She began running to a nearby table to put distance between herself and him as she pointed at him,

“Not fair!” She yelled, watching as Sanji pointed back at her.

“Don’t you dare get me started on ‘fair’!” He responded as he laughed.

Zeff stood in the doorway to the kitchen watching as Sanji ran around tables with that wannabe pirate waitress. He observed in silence as the pair laughed and threw dish towels at each other instead of cleaning tables.

The small boy he once knew, terrified of making connections with those around him due to some dark past he kept to himself, was smling and laughing as he chased around what could only be discribed as a friend.

A small smile curled his weathered lips as he shook his head and walked away, the sounds of youth fading into nothing.

“Not bad, little eggplant… Not bad…”

zoro's good with kids and good with math. we've seen this. we've experienced it. he play fights with the kids regularly and helps out with stocks and sales of local shops

also better than All of the knights in the village. this includes a very certain red, blue, and green haired trio. they're all very bitter about it. among other things

zoro's also the only person to ever use three swords so like. there's that. everyone thinks he has a few screws loose. he doesn't. or so he proclaims

insert kuina backstory... he makes a promise to himself to become the greatest swordsman in the world. it's just that he's, in a word, broke. and also a little sentimental but don't let nami hear him say that

judge is the head of this mini military and is very adamant on trying to recruit zoro to siege the palace on the hill. for Some Reason.

nami conspires with zoro that it's because he has some long lost enemy up there. Little Does She Know

meanwhile sanji lives alone in the castle, cursed. but not in the way you'd think. rather than a hulking beast, he's pretty much the same if not for the fact that he has a helmet on his head. thanks, dad.

thinking about the rest of the straw hats being little dancing singing objects. that was more or less an accidental side effect of the curse (sanji took off his helmet once, and it knocked luffy into a candle and ussop into a clock and well.)

he's slowly starving (hence why he tried to take the helmet off). the cook who cannot taste his food. throw in a wilting rose metaphor and when the last petal falls is when he dies

fortunately he has an old man by the name of zeff who literally won't let that happen. also all his friends that will fight death to keep sanji kicking

quite literally in some cases

so that's why when nami goes missing trying to explore the mysterious castle and zoro immediately goes to follow her, zeff practically knocks down his door to set the fear of god in him

too bad zoro doesn't believe in any god

but hey fine he won't hurt the creature in the castle. creature. period. zeff hits him over the head with a baguette

zoro finds nami and also sanji. decides in a split moment to announce he'll trade places with her. she is sitting on a couch. unharmed. she wouldn't have Been harmed. nami proceeds to call him a fucking idiot

sanji laughs at him, and zoro refuses to leave out of spite. he learns that sanji is a priss and a prince or sometimes a princess depending on the day, that he has a brilliant passion for cooking (whose skills are similar to a certain chef back in the village), and that when he laughs, zoro finds himself laughing too.

discovers sanji's dream of the all blue, and zoro finds himself telling sanji about his dream of becoming the greatest swordsman, of wado, of kuina

and eventually, Eventually, he finds out the details of sanji's curse. why he sometimes can't dredge out the energy to get out of bed (and why it's getting more and more frequent these days), and why he can't take off that helmet when the key is right there. and what the flower is all about.

proceeds to Book It when sanji tells him about judge and his brothers. except he doesn't tell sanji this, so sanji is sitting around in the castle, heartbroken and wondering Why he's heartbroken, while zoro is marching back to his village, Pissed

zeff pulls him aside though and they go and find reiju after zoro tells him that sanji's condition is worsening

zoro comes Back but this time with sanji's real dad and sister in tow and after a lot of tears and yelling (at zoro) ((and zeff)) (((then at zoro again))) they devise a plan on how to take judge down.

zoro plans on beating up ichiji niji and yonji simultaneously which sanji disagrees with. specifically because he wants to be the one to kick niji into next week

yadayadayada insert fight scene bc this is already ungodly long and judge gets exiled and imprisoned. niji gets drop kicked. the helmet comes off just as the timer runs out (thinking that the only way it could come off was to not only have someone fall For "the beast" but to have said beast love himself too. which zoro did. #love)

happily ever after. sanji eats and cooks and zoro fights and they take care of each other and find all blue. okay goodnight

Circus One Piece AU with sword swallower/knife thrower Zoro and tightrope walker/aerial act Sanji please and thank you

They (and the rest of the crew) grew up in the « Thousand Sunny » circus together:

Sanji’s adoptive dad, Zeff, is the circus cook who always tells a different, wild story about how he lost his leg (it often involves a lion, even though the circus doesn’t use animals in its show, despite its lion logo)

Zoro’s parents both died in an accident when he was young and his relatives (Shimotsuki) took him in. His childhood friend Kuina had an accident and is now a wheelchair user- she handles the circus social media and marketing with Nami

They both have had crushes on each other for years but don’t dare to fo anything because not only what if the other feels the same but what if it doesn’t work out and they have to leave their circus family- so instead they keep bickering and pigtail pulling

I think it’s common for circus performers to have many abilities but specializing in certain things so let’s just assume most of them are good at basic acrobatic/circus things

Sanji is an aerial artist (aerial silks, hoops etc) and tightrope walker and Zoro is good at sword swallowing, stage combat and knife throwing

A lot of the crew are orphans who were adopted into the circus family from many countries the circus has passed through, so they have little accents and have the best time celebrating everyone’s different traditions and holidays

Usopp is a magician, Vivi does diabolo, Franky a strongman, Robin does Trapeze, Luffy is known for his contortionist act but also does some clowning, Ace and Sabo do fire performances, Brook is their communal grandpa in charge of music, Jinbei is the cool dependable uncle in charge of setting everything up to regulation and navigating their caravan where Nami tells them to go

Although she does Chinese pole, Nami is growing up to be the person who’ll take over the circus management/strategy- she wants them to make bank and strategizes on what acts they do, innovative acts and staging they can do etc

Luffy’s dream is for their circus to be the best in the world - they’re already going around different countries but he wants a full international tour, eager to take over after his grandpa (ringmaster) passes it on to him

Chopper is the adoptive son of the troupe doctor (Kureha) who does some equestrian tricks (voltige) but mostly studies hard to be a doctor too. He’s still a kid but everyone is else is an adult

Sanji often gets really distracted by Zoro during practice times- their outfits are revealing and he’s so buff and like what else can he do with his mouth goddamn

He only once called Zoro a « sword swallower » when he was a (still closeted) teen to try and bully his friend/rival but Zoro just grinned at him and said « proudly » and Sanji almost died from that mental image and never used that insult again (he might have gotten a nosebleed)

Naturally Zoro is also dumbstruck by Sanji’s beauty and grace on the regular- and he often gets in trouble for watching Sanji’s act and almost missing cues

The gang always gets into so many shenanigans in every new city they travel to and they love each other so dearly

One day a video of Zoro practicing goes viral (because he’s hot and talented) and Sanji is definitely not responsible for a few dozen views on that video

Zoro always gets a little jealous and annoyed when he finds Sanji flirting with local girls

Ace with Shirohige!Sanji Pre-Canon

This has me by the fucking throat yall

Ace is pissed he was so close and now he's locked up

There's a blond guy with one visible eye, a curly eyebrow, holding a tray of food for him and smiling

"you got balls for trying to kill the old man" he said and Ace growled and lunged at him but was swiftly kicked away, he leaves the tray with a wave and a kind smile

Ace sees him at every meal time and the guy explains each meal to him

Ace can't stop staring at his fucking hands because there are tattoos on both of them that look like that Marco guy's

Ace would ask him his name after like forty meals

"oh, I'm Sanji" the guy smiled and Ace looks at him because Sanji has a hundred million beri from one fight.

When he's allowed on deck finally and sees Sanji light his cigarette with his foot he falls on his ass in shock

White Beard is laughing at him and Ace goes to attack him again and Sanji kicks him back down and tells him to stop going after his dad

Ace is marked scared and horny at that

Sanji falls asleep on him that night cuz it's warm so Marco and Thatch keep watch over them which Ace can't really find to be annoyed with them about

Especially when they're reminiscing over Sanji joining the crew and Ace is blushing so hard because this is their baby brother and they could absolutely kill him

He finally agrees to join after a long talk with White Beard who explains he knows Ace's parentage but that it doesn't matter. Ace is not a monster unless he chooses to be

The party is grand and Ace can't find Sanji until it's almost over

Ace trains with Sanji whenever they can get him out of the galley which is apparently more often now that Ace is here

Ace is happy to find out the deck has already been fireproofed but there's one scorch mark on deck from years ago

When Ace comes up as second division commander he and Sanji have been dating six months

Ace is very happy to be taking Sanji with him on his fleet since he'll have his own private quarters

Everyone jokes they're already married, even Zeff

Ace absolutely rolls with it, he uses "hubby" on the regular

Ace is so glad he's on dry land when Marco calls him to let him know that his husband is sailing with his baby brother and updated his will because he fucking lost it

Okay okay hear me out foster au. Luffy, Ace and Sabo were raised by their foster mom Dadan and foster dad Whitebeard (along with Whitebeard's many grown adopted kids who visit from time to time and Dadan and Whitebeard aren't a romantic couple they are friends who decided to foster together because why not) after Luffy's dad dipped after his birth and Crocodile was deemed unfit to raise him (Crocodile is a recovering alcoholic) not long after his birth, Garp was granted visitation rights. Ace's mom died after giving birth to him from undiagnosed Pre-eclampsia and his dad was murdered before he was born. Sabo was taken from his parents after they were found to have been abusing him. Luffy meets Zoro whos being fostered by Mihawk (Perona is adopted at this point and Mihawk is fighting to adopt Zoro), then he meets Nami who after her adopted mom's death in a car crash is being raised by her adopted dad and Bell-mère's husband) Arlong along with her sister Nojiko (Arlong is extremely controlling and overprotective of the duo because he blames himself for Bell-mère's death because he had an argument with her before the car crash, he does loves the duo but he is super paranoia and worries alot so he has his brothers (his own adopted brothers) watch the girls when hes not around. After that he meets Usopp who was living by himself after his mom's death but gets put into foster care and is being raised by Zeff who agreed to take him in because he felt bad for Usopp and he genuinely cares about him. Zeff introduces the group to his other foster son Sanji (who he has been fighting a long and hard battle to adopt him but Sanji's bio family won't let him and are demanding Sanji back, Zeff threatened to do unspeakable things to him if they (everyone expect for Sanji's sister Reiju) even look at Sanji). Soon they have to take Nami to the hospital because while they were playing with Luffy's uncle Buggy (who is his Uncle Shanks' ex boyfriend but still calls himself Luffy's uncle) and Uncle Buggy's best friend Mr. 3 (everyone calls him that because its his nickname) and some other kids (who include Nami's girlfriend Vivi, Valentine and Valentine's best friend Gem) and Vivi's pet dog Karoo an Irish wolfhound, Luffy got overexcited and accidently scared Karoo who was near Nami and Karoo knocked over Nami who fall and hit her head on a rock. Arlong stopped the game and took Nami and the rest of the group (which includes Vivi and Karoo he approves of Vivi's and Nami's relationship) to the hospital and they meet Dr. Kureha and her adopted son Chopper whos a genius. Nami is fine and only has a bruise and a small cut on her head. Dr. Kureha encourages Chopper to play with the group and be friend with them. He does after much hesitation and they all become good friends. Soon they meet Luffy's mom now dad Crocodile who has recovered from his alcohol addiction and granted visitation rights, Crocodile introduces them to his adopted sister Robin whos Luffy's Aunt and Robin is a famous historical fantasy writer, all of the kids take to Robin immediately and call her Aunty Robin, Luffy refers to Crocodile as his dad who got mpreg (hes confused but hes got the spirit). Then Robin lets them meet her fiancé Franky whos a mechanic(part time) and an genius inventor who they all call Uncle Franky and love him. They were initially off to a bad start because it turned out that he was the one who reported Usopp for living alone but Usopp forgave him because it let him find his place in the world. They are then introduced to Brook who works at local aquamarine and is a scare actor during Halloween and a part time musician , he's Garp's older brother and Luffy's great uncle so they call him Gruncle Brook. Brook has a pet tortoise that he named Laboon and was his best friend's tortoise at first but then his friend died after a long and hard battle with cancer.

They all enjoy spending their days playing together

Whitebeard has one of those big and loud homes, where everyone is fighting over which room is occupied and where someone should or shouldn't be. I see them like a "Cheaper By The Dozen" type of thing. Some of them moved out already but they always find a reason to hang around. At first all the kids were unhappy about the arrangement, but then they saw how much love there was to go around.

Whitebeard is the fun dad and Dadan is the strict, overworked and underpaid mom. Maybe they're married for tax reasons and because they're too old to date so they made a "if we're both not married by 40" pact that turned into a "single by 50+" pact. As you said they're not romantically involved, but they share their love for their kids and that's what makes them happy.

At one point Ace is arrested for assault. He tracked down and beat up his uncle - Blackbeard because he stole a family heirloom that cost a hefty amount and sold it off. He was seen as a traitor because it had been in the family for generations and all he cared for was the money.

(He may go to jail for a month and serve public service but he doesn't die in this au because I need their happiness at least sometimes!)

Why do I feel like Garp would take the boys out to the craziest camping trips. Like they'll go one day and two days later Luffy, Ace and Sabo will come back with like, alligator skin, a necklace from shark teeth and some weird-looking rock that turned out to be a meteorite. And when you ask them what happened they'll go "well at first we thought it was weird that we didn't have anything, cuz in the movies they get tents and food and stuff, but grandpa told us real men survive with nothing. We went hunting which was cool though we got a bit worried for a little when that bear attacked grandpa, but it's fine now. Did you know bears are just like big dogs!?" From then on Dadan never let them go camping without her, she kept Garp in check and packed all the food supplies etc.

I feel like Mihawk would be one of those dads that are like "I never knew why people were so obsessed with their stupid kids..." pulls out Perona dressed like a pretty princess and zoro looking like a feral child "until I got a stupid kid myself. I've had these two for not too long but if anything happens to them I will kill everyone in this room and then myself."

I'd like to believe that after the accident with Nami, Arling starts being at least a bit of a better dad.

He never wanted to choose parenthood. Parenthood chose him. And he's a great dad, he plays pretend royal tea parties with Perona and teaches Zoro manners. By the time the child services come to see if he's a fit parent to adopt Zoro they find how much politer and well mannered he is.

Speaking of foster parents, Zeff was fighting so hard for Sanji he spent countless nights trying to help his lawyer, work overtime to have the money to pay him and overall worrying about the kid. Their very first activity after winning the case was a big meal and a movie to which Zeff fell asleep to during the first scene. (The movie was Ratatouille and Sanji loved it. After that he made Zeff buy him a pet rat, who he adored and cooked for little tiny gourmet meals.)

I love that Buggy and his friends still play with the kids. He's the funniest and loudest uncle Luffy could ask for. When Luffy asked why Buggy and Shanks broke up, Buggy said that "Shanks refused to live up to his potential and I couldn't let him do that to himself" to which Luffy said was very reasonable and would take Buggy's side whenever the subject arose. (It was one of the only things that Luffy sided with Buggy about.)

Ohhh yes, Robin is a very famous writer but she writes under an alias to be harder to recognize. Her books are some of the most historically accurate works of fiction that has been writing so most fans speculate that she's a history teacher or professor of sorts. Some of her exes and old friends used to tell her that writing is a waste of time and making it as a writer is near impossible. Her (now) fiance Franky, on the other hand was so excited to hear all about her book ideas. When she (reluctantly) told him she'd want to write his eyes lit up. He didn't even know if she was a published author yet, but he would call her "an artist" and "a genius at work" whenever he'd see her writing on her laptop.

Crocodile was probably so nervous to see Luffy after all this time, worried he wouldn't recognize him and not sure if he'd be accepted by his own kid. But then Luffy hugged him anyway and when Croc explained everything to him Luffy just said "Oh, cool! Like a transformer, my dad's so awesome!"(and then did a little robot movement) which really set Crocodile at ease and even warmed his heart a bit...

When the kids found out it was Franky who reported them, they tried to fight him but then they reasoned with the facts (some slower than others) and it ended up with Usopp running away in tears. Franky chased him down to find him at his mother's grave. They just sat in silence there. Eventually Usopp stood up and told Franky that he forgave him. (Or at least that's how I imagine it ig)

Brook strikes me as the guy who would start playing drinking songs at bars and the next day go do a charity event at some ungodly hour. He absolutely loves kids and thinks they're a bundle of joy (plus they're the best audience, since they're the most honest in their love or hate for music). At first when they start calling him Gruncle Brook he got offended because "I'm not that old, kids, come on!" but he slowly started taking as a fond nickname rather than a reminder of his age.

More thoughts on grandpa Zeff because it was on my mind all day at work

Most of the pictures from Sanji are safely tucked away in his bedroom so they won't be lost or damaged, but he does keep one out on display. It's a picture of Sanji with Lucky perched on his shoulders, both grinning from ear to ear, and it's pinned next to one of himself and Sanji right after the Baratie's grand opening. Any and all drawings by Lucky are decorating the fridge.

For a while, Zeff doesn't send a response, figuring that Sanji can about guess how he feels about this. It isn't until envelope number 3 that he feels the need to say something, lest Sanji manages to single-handedly cause a film shortage. Which is grumpy old man speak for, "I want to see my grandchild already, get your ass over here."

Let's say that they're able to make this work and the crew stops by for a visit. Sanji is so unsure of what to do once they get there. He's awful at showing his emotions in regards to Zeff, and Zeff is absolutely no better. Fortunately for them, Lucky is there to break the ice. Just because Sanji can't will himself to refer to Zeff as his father to his face doesn't mean that Lucky can't do it for him.

The second she spots Zeff, she's wiggling out of Sanji's arms to run up to him and latch on to his good leg all while talking a mile a minute.

"You're my papa's dad, right? Hi grandpa!"

"You're a cook, too?! Can we make something together?"

"Is it hard to walk on that?"

"Can you tell me any stories about my papa?"

Zeff tries to keep a straight face, he really does, but he immediately gets all soft from being called grandpa. She's got him wrapped around her finger in like ten seconds.

Zeff: She's such a sweet kid, well behaved too. Definitely didn't get that from her dad.

Sanji: Watch it, you damn old geezer.

Except Sanji can't even get away with saying that because the second he says it Lucky starts scolding him because 'that's not very nice!', meaning he has to backpedal and actually be genuine. Zeff isn't exempt from these scoldings either, so they both have to be openly nice and loving without hiding it behind fake passive-aggressive insults for once in their lives.

This whole idea is very cute to me, I might have to come back to it and properly write something on it later.

Roger would be dead. From complications with cancer, unfortunately.

But when he was alive, he would travel around the country in a mobile house. He'd have friends all around the country, but he mainly only traveled with Rayleigh. Sometimes people would join them though. They'd pick them up at one place and drop them off in another. If you needed to drive a few states over and didn't want to pay for a flight or drive by yourself, you'd call up Rodger and Rayleigh to getcha through it.

In Rouge's case though, Im teetering between her being dead or not. Either way, Ace would not live with her. He would still love with Dadan because Rouge just wouldnt be able to provide for him. I think she would still visit him sometimes, but not enough for Ace to really see her as a mother figure, sorry to say 😞

On the Sora statement though, I love that a whole lot. Shed ofc be the yellow ranger

This one time, I saw an au where Sora survived and fled along with Sanji, met Zeff, and fell in love with him. So I'm going to extend that to my Modern AU as well because if that isn't the cutest thing in the world, idk what is.

I'm thinking that Sora and whatever tf sanjis bio dad's name is had a messy divorce and Sora only got Sanji in the split. I don't think they had a legal battle over who took the kids, but I think that .... Zeff sometimes likes to deliver his favorite customer's food. Red hair pirates crew is one of them. Zeff personally makes yasopp's dish and always leaves a note in his bento box.

They don't really have the time to actually date. most of their dates were just yasopp helping zeff buy materials for the baratie. Just two of them carrying meat and produce while holding hands.

When the restaurant was closed zeff let yasopp cook with him. He knows the basics but he knows how to follow directions so their meals are pretty good. They usually eat alone while everyone is asleep or doing whatever.

Zeff's love language is cooking and while yasopp is gifts. He would buy things like skillets and wooden spoons if he's on a different island with him crew he'd buy different spices and herbs for his kitchen. He also bought a new peg leg for their one year anniversary.

Red hair pirates like to tease yasopp when ever he comes back from a date or a 'sleep over '. He usually yells at them especially shanks, man is sleeping with a clown and he thinks he has room to speak.

PDA is little to none. They just aren't into it the closest thing they do is hand holding the maybe a kiss on cheek and peck on the lips. In private though yasopp is being held and being smothered with affection. Yasopp doesn't use pet names but zeff calls him melon sometimes.

Yasopp talks about Banchina a lot. His good memories, his bad memories, his regrets and his mistakes. He still misses her zeff knows that and let's him express that without any jealousy or ill feelings

Sanji knows about their relationship when he came to visit he snuck into his dad's bedroom too sleal back a pack of cigarettes only to his boyfriend's dad sleeping in his bed. There were a lot of questions and a lot of profanities after

Usopp doesn't know about them. Yasopp just got used to seeing his son he's not ready to talk about his love life or his sexuality. Sanji respected his request but he still doesn't like the relationship.

Their relationship is not serious serious they ain't getting married and they usually don't see each other for months. They're not really monogamous either they could one day live together and live a quiet life or they could never see each other again and they'd be ok with that as well (mostly zeff he'd be ok Yasopp tho would be devastated)

This is,,, Really cute. They're not something serious but they enjoy being together. Yasopp doubts he'll ever feel what he felt for his wife again but he likes Zeff's company and both Usopp and Shanks wouldn't stop telling him to enjoy life as much as he can so,, And Zeff is so busy he doesn't even have the time for a real relationship, but every time Yasopp appears he makes time for him. It makes them feel young.

Okay, but imagine Sanji knowing and wanting to tell Usopp (of course) but yeah, Yasopp tells him he's not ready yet yadda yadda. And Sanji is DYING. Usually, Sanji is good at keeping secrets. If somebody does not want him to tell something to others, he just won't. But do you know how hard it is to keep stuff from your boyfriend? I would die. And it's not even that he feels guilty for that or feels the responsibility of telling him. No. He just wants to complain about their dads being kind of, sort of together. And maybe not even complain, just talk about it. He's so used to telling Usopp everything that now this just feels wrong. He's having an awful time. But actually, I think Usopp would find out somehow. Yasopp doesn't know he knows and Usopp lets him live like that until he's ready to tell him himself. And also he uses that to drive Sanji crazy because it's funny..

Re: my last post about Judge in my AU and how I imagine his relationship with Sanji.

Sanji having to deal with his narcissistic father coming back into his life right before he himself becomes a father is actually one of the first ideas I got for this AU. I think Sanji would have a massive fear of fatherhood because of who his dad is, and at the start of the story that caused conflict with him and Zoro. But his part story is all about him over coming that and him figuring out how to be a father. And it’s a massive upset to his psyche when Judge comes crashing back into his life and tries to drive a wedge between him and Zoro.

Zoro and Sanji don’t “get together” once they realize Zoro’s pregnant; they plan to just stay friends and they keep their whole “rival” personas. But over the course of the next nine months they both catch feelings and do this long slow burn pining while literally playing house together. There’s this weird space between them of “what are we to each other” and that gets worse for Sanji when Judge re-enters his life. He finds it hard to explain to this man who should be his father that he and Zoro aren’t together, but Zoro’s having his baby and is living with him.

Judge sees this and tries to seize on it. When he meets Zoro, and learns he’s having Sanji’s baby, he’s livid. Not from like a place of parental concern, like some parents might react to hearing their 22 year old son impregnated someone; but because he’s a narcissist and wants control over Sanji. Sanji having his own family with his own kids makes that a lot harder. Having someone who cares about him like Zoro, makes that a lot harder.

He immediately tries to insert himself into the situation. He makes sure to keep calling himself the baby’s “grandfather”, and insisting on the importance of family. Zoro sees through its, especially with how the longer Judge stays, the nastier he becomes to Zoro.

Now there’s also gonna be a big through line of Sanji trying to quit smoking. It’s his own kind of moral quest to devolve better habits because smoking isn’t good for babies or children to be around. But when Judge rolls into town he doesn’t give a shit about the boundaries of others. He lights up around Zoro, and Zoro gives him this look like “can you put that out? Sanji doesn’t want anyone smoking around me. He’s trying to give it up I don’t think he needs you to be doing that here.” and Judge gets into his personal space like “I’m his father, boy. Just ‘cus you spread your legs for him doesn’t mean shit. Don’t act like you can boss me around when it comes to my son.”

After that Zoro and the straw hats try to devise a plan to try to get judge to leave town, cus it’s clear he’s just trying to sink his claws back into Sanji and ruin his happiness. Everyone, even Zeff despite his promise, is ready to step in and make judge leave and never come back. But in the end Sanji does that himself when Judge finally lets slip his true intentions and feelings about Zoro.

This is all just the vibes I have for how I want this arc to go, and I’ll figure out more specifics later. But yea I just wanted to post more of my ideas :3

Is there an au where Zoro, Nami and Ussop all went to the same orphanage and met there and became family there? No? Now there is.

It was not a bad orphanage per se, poor but run by good people in a good town. The adults around would try to take at least one kid to their houses regularly to teach them stuff, give them hobbies, help them integrate with the community... Instead of an orphanage, it was more of a big house for kids to stay and eat because their families were too poor or the adults responsible for them were in bad condition.

That's how Zoro would spend so much time at Koushirou's dojo, why Nami and Nojiko would practically live with Bell-Mere. It's also why Ussop was there, 'cause his mom was sick and she was making sure he had a place— a family to stay with after she was gone.

Which means that Zoro, Nami and Ussop were together to witness Kuina, Bell-mere and Ussop's mom deaths. That's how Nami and Ussop took to call Zoro big brother and started to rely on him to fight their bullies or mean people. Nami would be the one sent to take Zoro home when it was time to eat dinner. Ussop was the one who would lie to cover their shenanigans.

And then they met Luffy.

They met him in the summer. He was there to attend high school with them. It was a summer full of misadventures that united them. Luffy was their best friend, all of them. Luffy had his own family they learned, so it'd feel wrong to call him brother. Nami and Ussop stopped calling Zoro big bro because they were ashamed as teens, but it'd come back whenever they were truly scared.

They all had their reasons for leaving the town.

Nami was secretly reuniting money to help the town and the orphanage get rid of the local mafia. Zoro wanted to compete in bigger tournaments to reach his dream of being the best kendo fighter out there. Ussop wanted to travel the world and become a brave adventurer like his dad. Maybe for the sake of the au, let's say that "pirates" are less about the sea and more about adventurers finding treasures. So much is the same as in the manga, I think that way it's better.

On the other hand, Sanji, Chopper, Kaya, Vivi and Robin all went to the same prestigious middle and high school.

Which was the place rich problem children or very talented (genius) middle class people got sent to. If you were a rich orphan, if you were considered a burden by your rich parents, if someone wanted to protect you from the very law or even criminal organizations, if you were smart beyond your age but didn't have the money, that's where you went.

Kaya and Chopper met first because they took the same "future medical school" classes. Robin, Vivi and Sanji were all under a sort of protection program. Robin's mom, Sanji's mom and Vivi's dad make the necessary arrangements for them to be accepted. The benefit? No one could touch them until they were out of high school and then, they would be old enough to protect themselves.

Of course Chopper is years younger in this au and Robin is way older, but that's justified under the pretenses that Chopper is a medical prodigy and Robin got rescued when she was already older, so to give her some more time they enrolled her in the very first grade they could. It helped that all the others have an assigned tutor based on their personal skills: Kureha, Igaram, Zeff, for example. Robin sort of learned for everyone she could and took just a few courses at the time, learning as much as she could. That made her advance kinda slower than the rest, but prepared her way more.

They met for lunch and study sessions, sticking together because the others rejected them for being too weird. The order in sibling consideration became Robin > Kaya > Sanji > Vivi > Chopper. Here Sanji is a hopeless fool for romance but not a pervert and he complains a lot about the "sibling system". Everyone knows it must have something to do with his past, so they quickly "kick him out" of it. They still consider him their sibling, but they won't mention it anyway. In return, Sanji accepts in silence that they see him as a brother, thankful they don't call him that.

Three very smart and influential sisters, their adopted genius little brother and the way they all befriended. Perfect balance.

Luffy, Zoro, Nami and Ussop graduated two years before the others, because their fancy school was the type to make them egress with a basic college level. Team small town then moved to the big city and rented an apartment close to fancy school by total accident. BOOM worlds collapse together.

Marco doesn’t know how he ended up on the thousand sunny.

That’s a lie, logically he knows. Luffy had come up to him after the battle and asked him. Then perhaps, ask is a strong word… Luffy had catapulted into the region of his arms and twisted around him like a jungle python. Marco is not sure if he actually heard the words ‘join my crew’ as he was rapidly losing consciousness due to asphyxiation.

Then he woke up on the sunny.

God they are so fucking young. Children really, maybe that’s why he hasn’t taken off yet. Put his zoan wings to use.

Luffy scampers around the deck, laughing madly as the cook attempts to punt him in the ocean.

Everyone is so bright in this ship and it crushes his sternum while filling his lungs with air.

“Strange isn’t it.”

The clattering or bones usually indicates brooks approach but, the skeleton can be annoyingly sneaky when he wants to be.

Delicate phalanges press a cup of tea in Marco’s empty hands.

“You remember being that young?”

The blonde man stares into the amber liquid completely lost. He didn’t remember, not really. Flashes of his mother’s sash, ink stained books that seemed so large to his small hands, a foggy memory of a rocky shore.

“I think most of it was lost to time.” He shares with a wry grin.

Brook clicks his tongue? Does he still have that? “Time, time, time, time. If there ever was a god he was the one who hung the clock.” The skeleton hums. “Are you staying for Ace?”

“I don’t know.”

“Did you love him.”

Marco pauses, letting the memories wash over him. The smell of smoke, the raucous laughter. “I didn’t, not yet anyway.”

The sea breeze picks up, heavy with salt.

“I used to play the violin for my husband every day.”

The skeleton is looking at some point beyond the horizon.

“Did he like the violin?”

“Not at all.”

The most important thing Marco has learned while travelling with the straw hats is that none of them (with exception to Jinbe and possibly Brook) have ever had any kind of sane adult to care for them.

Don’t get him wrong, bellemere seems like she was a good lady and lord knows he has visited the floating restaurant a couple times. But for the love of god if finds zoro trying to work out one more time he will have a chat with mihawk.

Honestly he’ll have a good long talk with crocodile too while he’s there, Robin seems to hold herself together with spiderwebs. Not surprising given ohara, but the whole warlords tool thing obviously made it worse.

In two weeks of sailing with the strawhats marco has a goddamn list of people. Including Zeff (marco is very very tired of the nosebleeds.)

Weirdly enough the most stable person is literally a cyborg, then again Tom was a fucking angel on earth and Marco wished he had stuck around longer to write a book on parenting.

Luffy calls him the reserve doctor.

Marco doesn’t call him captain.

“Well obviously.” Luffy had pointed out when Marco had haltingly tried to approach the conversation. “I’m not your dad.”

“But I am sailing under you aren’t I?”

“Yeah.” Brown eyes blinked at him slowly. “But I’m not your dad.”

Marco bites his tongue and wonders how long it would take to explain his very weird existence. Too long he decides and just gives a brief nod. “No, you’re not.”

It’s slow, marco sails, flys. Leaves for weeks on end only to return in the heat of battle. He tracks down Whitey and spends a good week crying into his sisters pillow. Sanji challenges him to a duel for robins hand and he kicks the cook into the ocean. He should really talk to Zeff…. His brothers are here and there, sometimes he looks sometimes he doesn’t. Sometimes he joins Jinbei for meditation. Perhaps it’s more accurate to say that he drinks coffee while the fish man finds inner peace.

He does end up meeting the cross guild (it’s shanks fault.) getting dragged to an “important” meeting by a yonko begging you to pretend to be his husband is.. not as ego boosting as you would think. Shanks flirts and preens and marco doesn’t even know who he’s trying to impress. (He doesn’t want to know.)

Even so.. the small movements, the way mihakw floats beside crocodiles hook. The low murmur as buggy leans into hear what the scarred man said. It makes marco believe that maybe love isn’t a one time thing (except if your shanks)

Dr Hiriluk, one of the earliest father figures in OP, i liked how he went from treating chopper as a random deer, to an apprentice, to straight up treating him like his son (I'd do that too he's just super duper kyuttttte!) Sure he had his shenanigans and moments where he looked bad, but he's an overall good father figure for chopper, seeing how good he was to him and how he was the one who made him decide to become a doctor.

🍘 Sengoku

"no way, Sengoku has no kids!" ahem, did you forget that he literally adopted Corazon? We don't see much about them interacting, but from what we've seen Sengoku loved Rocinante as if he was his own child, he cared for him and would call him every now and then, and cried real hard when he died and at the end of Dressrosa when he was talking to law it felt like he held him real dear to his heart. Rocinante may have been a marine to the other admirals, but to him, he was his son.

He sacrificed his leg for Sanji, LITERALLY, just so the little boy won't die of hunger. And even after that, he ditched piracy and took him under his wing to teach him how to cook and be a real gentleman, he might've been harsh a little, but his heart is in the right place!

The true definition of the muscle brain trope, Oden is HUGE, kinda dum dum, he likes to goof around, extremely strong but has a soft spot for his family. He's a perfect family guy to his wife and kids, and despite all, he decided to put his family, disciples and friends at his top priorities, and that's why we totally Stan!

One of the OP characters that i didn't expect to be SO BRAVE for a non-fighting character. I like how he greatly cared for his daughter, but what i didn't like is how pervy he acts at times (bath scene) but other than that, he's such a beloved father, especially whenever he looked out for his daughter (along with Igaram), such a goof.

🐾 Kuma

We still don't know much about Kuma's past and his relationship with Bonney, why he chose to become a cyborg, why he's climbing the redline...etc etc. But from what Oda has shown us, Bonney loved him so much that she was willing to protect a pacifista since it reminded her of him, and ofc that speaks volumes about him.

🖤 Corazon

Ahhhhh, i remember how hard i cried during law's flashback when it first dropped in the manga, Corazon treated like as if he was his own son, he looked like an insane man at first when he kicked and beat buffalo and baby 5 (which i dunno, was uncalled for) but he's a really good father figure. He did all he could to save law, keep him entertained, made him food (they were grilling sweet potatoes in that one manga cover) and gave him all the love he needed. That is one hell of a reason for law to seek revenge against doffy!

🐋Whitebeard

Yep yep, Oyaji is here, i really like Whitebeard for how he would literally take any fatherless child (be them actually fatherless or just mentally) and make them his child. He's a VERY forgiving father as well, even when he got attacked by one of his sons, he just didn't hold it against him and forgave him. GOOOOOOOD that was sad af i cried!

Once someone asks who's the best OP father the first person that comes to mind is Kyros. Ok so I’ve been playing Pony Town for the past few days and I’ve found that it really sucks over there, the One Piece fans that I’ve encountered have been really freaking toxic on there

From telling me that my Crocodile design is “Ass” and “Looks like he cried all his mascara out” to telling my Comfort OC that her Dad (Doflamingo) hates her when she’s a legit child to someone telling me that Cringe Culture is alive and even seeing people lusting after canonically underage characters like Carrot and Shirahoshi

Plus that’s not mentioning how the person who insulted my Crocodile design proceeded to turn into their Crocodile design to “Show me how it’s done” or how the person who told me that “Doflamingo hates you” told me to stop having my character cry because it felt like they were in a movie and then proceeded to yell at me when they said I wasn’t canon and I assumed they weren’t RPing anymore... Fuckin asshole...

So you know what? To make myself feel better, I’m going to ramble on about some of my One Piece OC’s...

So the first one that I have is named Arabella and she’s an author that I based the Pages AU off of as she writes love stories about a Marine that Akainu likes to read a lot, she dresses very old fashioned and ate a Devil Fruit that gives her abilities like a Ram and I ship her with Akainu, Fujitora, Kizaru, Aokiji, and Aramaki so in a lot of cases, Aramaki has a tendency to kidnap Arabella for Akainu and that’s how they meet with Aramaki deciding to sex her later because “What better way to be closer to Akainu then fucking his wife?”. They also move into her house in a lot of scenarios *usually against her will* and chaos ensures big time like Kizaru wrecking her house by accident or Punk Hazard 2 being created inside of her when Aokiji and Akainu decide to fuck her at the same time

Their relationship causes Arabella a lot of headaches as well so she really only likes spending her alone time with Fujitora as he doesn’t bother her when she tries to write and a lot of the time, she kinda wants to leave but she can’t because they absolutely refuse to let her go to the point where she’s not allowed to be on her own. In case you can’t tell, I’m a big fan of Yandere’s

The second one is Oakleigh and she is a nurse who took a job being a medic for the Germa Kingdom after being fired from her last job over a false accusation of malpractice, she doesn’t have a Devil Fruit like Arabella but she’s pretty good at what she does regardless as she has managed to chase down multiple people who need medical treatment and has even managed to drag Judge into her office at moments

Speaking of Judge, that’s who she’s shipped with and the two of them barely spoke before he found himself in her infirmary due to passing out as Judge was very depressed when Sora left him for Zeff taking the kids with her so when Judge woke up, he just saw this bespectacled face with blonde hair and blue eyes so he thought it was Sora at first until he realized that it was Oakleigh who he had never spoken to before

She offered to be his semi therapist until he could recover as he didn’t want to go to an actual one and he agreed to it causing multiple visits until he wound up falling in love with her which is when he forced her to marry him causing Oakleigh a great deal of surprise

Their relationship isn’t the healthiest as Judge has a tendency to call her “Sora” during sex and also Oakleigh tried to poison herself at the wedding by feeding herself a drink that had grapes in it which she’s allergic to but at the end of the day, Judge does in fact love Oakleigh in his own twisted manner and the boys see her as their stepmom whenever they come over. It’s just that Oakleigh doesn’t know what to make of this relationship and kinda wants out so she can go back to being a medic instead of a Queen

The third one is Lyra who is a Mortician, she doesn’t have a Devil Fruit either and she suffers from severe Phasmophobia which is kind of a problem as I ship her with Absalom aka that guy from Thriller Bark who tried to marry Nami while she was unconscious or asleep or whatever because I don’t remember

Absalom kidnapped Lyra from her morgue after he was wheeled in as the town believed him to be a dead body only for him to sit up on the table causing Lyra to promptly pass out from fear as “Holy fuck, that dead body just moved” and let’s be real. Who the hell wouldn’t pass out upon seeing that shit? She should have passed out upon seeing his body for the first time

When she woke up, she was in a wedding dress and being kissed by him as the audience of zombies clapped their hands for the newly married couple that were now going to celebrate their wedding night which involves a very strange feeling cock pounding in and out of Lyra’s body as Absalom holds her up against the shower wall due to her trying to hide in the bathroom under the guise of a shower to avoid him

Absalom doesn’t really have to worry about keeping Lyra with him as she’s terrified of Ghosts plus by the time that Perona isn’t around anymore, Stockholm Syndrome has already set in and she’s completely in love with him to the point where they stay together but a lot of scenarios have her winding up as a single mother to her and his child after Absalom is killed for his Devil Fruit but in some happier ending scenarios, Gecko Moria has Hogback bring Absalom back to life like how he did Cindry

The fourth one is named Lyric and she’s actually Lyra’s cousin but the two of them don’t talk much as Lyric is an Acrobat at the traveling circus under the name Gliding Lyric. She doesn’t have a Devil Fruit either but she doesn’t need one as she’s managed to appear like she’s had one for years as she’s able to throw entire dumpsters full of rocks when pissed off. She also has a voice claim and it’s that one TikTok audio of a cosplayer of Roxanne Wolf telling the viewer how they stop kidnappings

Like I said Lyric works at a circus where she’s an Acrobat and she’s shipped with a good number of the Blackbeard Pirates like Teach himself, Laffitte, Van Augur, Burgess, Doc Q, Catarina Devon, Shiryu of the Rain, and Avalo Pizzaro who wound up meeting her after they came to the circus because they were bored and wound up being the only ones there because their presence scared off everyone else that wasn’t a worker

When it came time for the Big Top show, Lyric did her act but fucked up the last trick where she ties a cord to her leg and glides above the crowd before coming back up and landing in her partners arms for the finale so it caused the cord to come loose and she fell directly onto Shiryu like face first into his chest but she tried to play it cool and act like it was planned as she struck an awkward pose after Shiryu wouldn’t let go

It was that night actually that they wound up kidnapping her burning down the circus in the process and declaring her to be Crew Wife meaning that she’s married to a good amount of people on the ship, she’s taken up the role of being an entertainer on the ship though so she can hopefully one day get them all partying so hard that they pass out and she can escape even if they constantly breath into her skin that they love her and they care for her

Lyric also has a very short attention span when it comes to adults and absolutely adores children to the point where she keeps candies on hand to hand out to little kids that happen to come up to the “Clown Lady” but she tries not to let it show around the Pirates as she fears that it may give them a reason to start trying to knock her up as she’s already had to kick Burgess off of her multiple times when he tries pinning her against the nearest wall and showing her just how much he loves her

The fifth is a lady that goes by the name Harmony, she ate the Soft Soft Fruit which allows her to make anything around her incredibly soft from sounds to objects and even people if she so wanted to but she really only uses the Soft Soft Fruit for Sounds as she has incredibly sensitive hearing. She’s also the cousin of Lyric and Lyra with Lyric being the eldest, Harmony being in the middle, and Lyra is the youngest Harmony is shipped with Scratchman Apoo who took an extreme interest in her after seeing at her at a very classy club on stage singing her soft tunes wearing that Orange and Yellow of hers, she just so happened to be singing a love song that caused Apoo to think that she was singing directly to him which she wasn’t but that’s besides the point

For his stay on the island, he kept going back to see her each time that she performed until he and his crew had to go so it was late one night when he tried to serenade her with a song of his own only for it to hurt her ears because he was very, very loud so as an apology for hurting her ears, he decided to kidnap her and take her with him onto his crew claiming that he could show her all kinds of soft and sweet music

Harmony honestly kinda wants to be able to head home and forget that this ever happened but we all know that she isn’t getting away from him any time soon as he just drags her back when she tries to leave causing some very heavy irritation plus there’s no going back now as she’s a wanted woman due to being with him for too long and being considered a member of his crew as a result

The sixth one is Mabelle and she doesn’t have a Devil Fruit either but she does however have the ability to read minds due to being a member of what’s known as the Long Ear Tribe who can read peoples thoughts on command, she also has a voice claim which is Mommy Long Legs from Poppy Playtime which I feel makes sense as Mabelle is basically a doll due to having encased herself in a porcelain shell that she claims is her real body

She comes from a town where Beauty Standards for women are incredibly high so in order to meet them, she’s encased her entire body in porcelain to look absolutely perfect even while she’s just working as a costume maker for the town and a very skilled one at that as her rental costumes are very popular despite that a lot of people find her odd despite her perfect face

She’s shipped with Shanks and Benn Beckmann (occasionally Mihawk) and how she met them is Shanks came into her place one day after being pretty badly injured, he couldn’t go to the hospital because he’s a pirate so he asks her to fix him up which although hesitant. She obliged and stitches up his injuries

He’s grateful but accidentally breaks off a big portion of her face when goes to throw an arm around her in a hug, she screams and runs to the backroom prompting him to follow her. He sees her trying to fix herself and stops her, asks what she’s doing and she explains what’s going on to him only for him to tell her that she doesn’t need any porcelain to look beautiful as even with the little that he can see right now. She looks beautiful

It touches her deeply when he says that and she actually winds up on his ship acting as the mom to Luffy and Uta, one of which has a tendency to eat the porcelain on her body like it’s chocolate. She has a deal going on with them as well where if she doesn’t put anymore porcelain on, they’ll break off a small piece of her shell everyday until she’s exposed but if she does then they get to take everything off of her. It’s part of a thing to help slowly raise her self esteem so she can get out of her porcelain shell

She’s somewhat learned to not read Shanks mind though especially when he’s looking at her as it goes something like this... “Sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, Mabelle being pregnant, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, Mabelle being pregnant with Uta, sex, sex, sex, What about pregnant with Luffy? What would that look like?, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, doggy style, sex, sex, sex, wait is that Buggy?, Buggy, Buggy, Buggy”

The seventh one is Ivy and she doesn’t have a Devil Fruit either, she’s a worker in Water 7 where she works as a typical Office Worker who has a semi out there style of fashion due to the fact that she heavily loves the style of Decora Kei but can’t always dress in it, she also decorates her house in purely Dreamcore which makes her feel very relaxed

She’s actually shipped with CP9 as she’s in a relationship with Lucci, Kaku, Kalifa, Jabra, Blueno, and sometimes Kumadori. She met a good number of them while she had been hired to sort out some paperwork for the Galley-La company which heavily put her on edge to the point where she was stressed and didn’t have the energy to get all dressed up like normal

She wound up meeting the undercover agents of CP9 while she was there and even ran into Jabra a few times who was pretending to be a citizen, they actually wound up liking her quite a bit and asked her on a date after a while which made her incredibly ecstatic so on the day of the date, she was running late but eventually showed up in full Decora Kei causing them all to go silent which she assumed was a bad thing until Lucci plucked a pin that looked like a leopard off of her and pinned it to him before offering his arm to her

Of course though, things don’t last forever as the events of Water 7 happen and they all disappear with the destruction of Enies Lobby causing Ivy to think they’re never coming back so she leaves Water 7 and goes to a small island where she becomes a fashion designer for the people living there as they like her style

Eventually she does meet back up with her partners but it’s after they’ve joined CP0 causing them to become extremely possessive of her to the point where it scares her especially when Kaku grabs her arm when she tries to get out of bed in the middle of the night to get some water or when she notices Kalifa stalking her from afar on an outing

Ivy actually does actually have a scenario where she basically gets a bad ending and it’s where a Celestial Dragon takes an interest in her and wants her, she winds up becoming a slave despite pleading with them to save her. They always tried to tell her that they would find a way to get her out of this but she eventually died resenting the people that she once called her partners as “You promised you wouldn’t let anything hurt me, you lied” so now they’re tormented by visions of her in their dreams which are of course Dreamcore

Luckily though that ending never comes as typically they keep her far, far away from their job as CP0 agents

The eighth one that I have currently is Saffron who also doesn’t have a Devil Fruit and isn’t really anything all that special beyond being a college student whose trying to make ends meet by babysitting the young child of Doflamingo and Crocodile while they’re busy taking care of other things as those two pay good money despite being absolutely terrifying people

Saffron is currently shipped with King, Queen, Jack, Black Maria, Who’s Who, Page One, Ulti, and Sasaki who wound up infuriated by her existence at first as they wanted to babysit the kid due to Kaido absolutely adoring the child but after meeting the babysitter, they almost immediately fell in love as she was a great person to the kid and answered every question that they had when they popped out of nowhere to test her

Eventually when it came time to leave, Saffron kissed the kids forehead and left only to be stopped by King who tried to propose to her causing a great deal of shock that only grew greater when everyone else stepped in wanting to marry her as well only to culminate in a giant fight between all of them 

Saffron took the opportunity to escape and ran off only to get a call a few weeks later saying that Doflamingo wanted her to babysit again because his daughter missed her, she tried to decline but he told her that she didn’t have a choice and he’d see her at 7 so she showed up and put the kid to bed an hour later before trying to hide in the bathroom only to be found

Cue being forced to marry a group of extremely dangerous people as they had all come to an agreement that they would share her which terrified her especially when they wanted to fill her with their dinosaur eggs (kittens for Who’s Who, Spider Babies for Black Maria, and Mammoth Children for Jack) Doflamingo winds up forcing Saffron to live with them as a live in babysitter although now his daughter has to deal with the fact that she can’t sit on her babysitters lap anymore due to the fact that she’s gotten “fat” when she’s actually very heavily pregnant with multiple eggs

Sometimes Saffron isn’t the babysitter though in scenarios and is actually a camp worker for the local summer camp when Doflamingo’s daughter wants to go there for the summer only for the Beast Pirates to take an interest in Saffron when they come to check on Doffy’s daughter

The very last one is named Willow and she doesn’t have a Devil Fruit either but she is a very talented farmer and forager who can catch fish with her teeth, she lives on an island with no one else but her father who forces her to do literally everything and has killed her hopes and dreams so much that Willow has a tendency to hallucinate an idealized version of herself in the form of an entity known as Witch as Willow wanted to be a witch as her dream

Willow is shipped with Gol D. Roger, Silvers Rayleigh, Scopper Gaban, Portgas D. Rouge, and Shakky and how she met them is that the ship had completely run out of food and they couldn’t catch anything as they didn’t have anything to use for bait other than hoping that something would bite Shanks or Buggy if they hung them off a hook but that idea was quickly off the table

In comes this island that looks great out in the middle of nowhere and it seems like they’re saved as someone spots a small farm on the island that looks abandoned but still growing food, they B-Line for the island and the crew immediately starts taking items for the ship only to be confronted by an annoyed Willow wielding a metal rake

They explain themselves and she allows them to take some food as long as they don’t touch anything from a certain part, it’s all happy and the harvest continues as Willow watches them occasionally making conversation with the women who ask about her injuries only for Willow to let it slip that her dad hurts her

Commence kidnapping as she’s thrown over Roger’s shoulder and claimed to be the crew wife much to her surprise, she watches as the Pirates take the rest of the food that she asked them not to and they sail off with her as their prisoner according to her when she’s legitimately Roger’s newest spouse

Sometimes in the scenario where they meet Willow, she’s actually seen right off the bat and Roger is immediately infatuated with her to the point where he asks Buggy and Shanks if they want another Mom and when they agree. He tells them to go to Willow and act like she’s their Mom which they do as they ask her to prove which one is colder the north or South Pole which confuses her especially when they call her Mom when she says she doesn’t know, they call out for Roger when she starts acting strange according to them and Roger pretends that she’s been his S/O for years allowing for an easy kidnapping

Ok, I feel better having talked about all of them like that... Sorry for going on this long ass tirade about my OC’s, I truly just wanted to talk about them and make myself feel better after realizing that Pony Town is shit for meeting new people a lot of the time...

I do have other crushes like Dalton, Caesar Clown, Eustass Kid, and others but I don’t have OC’s for them so I’ll talk about them another time... Maybe... Probably... Who knows...

Shirohige!Sanji headcanons

Suffered from light sensitivity and had the worst set of sunburns Marco has ever seen. Kid had to be wrapped almost head to toe in gauze for two months to protect the blisters and skin.

Sanji hated it.

He still suffers light sensitivity

Called Marco a "shitty fire bird" after two days of knowing him.

Has fallen asleep on White Beard, Marco, and Thatch because they're warm

He called White Beard "dad" on several occasions, the first time when he woke up from a nightmare to the man holding him.

Became next in line for Fourth Division Commander after Thatch

Thatch is absolutely his favorite sibling

He has met Shanks and his crew several times and fed them all. Roux and him have fought over spices each time. Sanji was fourteen and Jozu had to carry him away from the fight before it got physical the first time.

He also started smoking at fourteen after several crew mates let him try their cigarettes after dealing with Roux.

Sanji has mandatory days off from the galley, he is not allowed inside it

There have been several incidents regarding Sanji's days off that include but are not limited to: White Beard tossing him over board, Marco picking him up and flying him around, and Jozu making the kid train so hard he caught fire

Teach poured water on him to put him out, Sanji considers that the only good he has ever done in his life

The first time he meets Ace after he's locked up for trying to kill White Beard he complimented Ace on his guts for trying to kill an emperor but also one of the most beloved men on the sea.

He's already tailoring meals for Ace after a day.

They allow Ace on deck as long as he wears some light seastone cuffs so he doesn't try to fly off or fight and Sanji lights a cigarette with his foot.

They start dating six months after Ace joins the crew.

He joins Ace to go to Wano and becomes friends with Yamato as well

His hands have the Shirohige emblem on the back

Zeff disapproves whole heartedly so Sanji wears gloves whenever he's helping Zeff with Baratie

Zeff's chivalry also doesn't really stick with him since he's there so rarely and Shirohige crews fight anyone and everyone

For whatever reason in the grand line no one recognizes him, Strawhats will point at his new world bounty and say they're going to crush that bounty

It's like 400 million beri because he's basically Ace's accomplice in everything and anything
