Sometimes you need to lament yourself as a misunderstood artist in order to kill your darlings, I'm having a short story published in an anthology and I just wrote a long justification for an editor about why I simply must use this one very specific metaphor in my text instead of a shorter punchier one that essentially carries the same meaning and has a better rhythm in it, then I stared at my justification for a while, deleted it and wrote "these suggestions sound great! :)" instead.

So the obvious type for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond is Steel, with a starter, a legendary, and a breakout that got into Smash all sharing the type. But… there’s not much else beyond that. So I got some help from the past (as well as a mythical I forgot I’d get).

(Oh, and I didn’t play this for two days nonstop without sleeping, don’t worry. I’ve been hopping between this and finishing things up in Pokémon Legends: Arceus ever since I beat Volo.)

District five: Trip Cera and Ty Ranno

District seven: Lester and Robinson

District eight: Joanie and Princess pooch

District nine: Joe Wildwest and Stella

District ten: Terry and Kent

I remember thinking when I first did this that I didn't have enough characters, so there's only ten districts. Huh, why are Trip Cera and Ty Ranno here? I thought about making a drawing for each of them, but that would have taken too long. Also I tried having the teams make sense, and as you can see district seven may not make sense. They just ended up being the odd one out and they ended up in the same district I guess.

I should also mention that there's no clear protagonist. It wouldn't make sense to me, since then wouldn't it be clear to you all who would win? Yeah sure, they could die but for me it would feel very unsatisfying. I plan for everyone that is in the game to have an equal amount of screen time, with the order of their appearance at random.

Anyways, prologue is done and will come as soon as possible.
