Let's get some air time today with an awesome arm balance, called Crow Pose. 1. Squat with your feet slightly apart, and on your tippy toes. Place your hands on the floor, shoulder width apart and fingers wide open. Wrap your inner thighs around your upper arms. 2. Leaning forward, transfer your weight from your toes to your hands (palms). 3. One at a time or together, lift your feet from the floor and use your core and arms to find your "sweet spot". I usually like to pick a spot on the floor to gaze at while I control my balance and my breathing. Take 5 deep breaths in this position and slowly release. NOTE** It may take several tries to find your balance, and you may even face plant a few times (lol), but keep at it and your body will eventually respond. Day 22 of #letsgetflexyin2015 is laghuvajrasana but I'm not quite ready for that so I worked on strengthening my quads and opening my back with "pigeon droppings". I just started practicing these a few months ago and already feel so much stronger. @kinoyoga @aloyoga @beachyogagirl
