now is my time to brag :'D I've been participating to fandom zines since 2017 (OCs, Haikyuu!!, Free!, Blue Exorcist, D.Gray-man, FE14, FE16, Witch Hat Atelier, Ace Attorney), they've always been the occasion for me to do big more complete pieces and it's just fun to be part of collaborative projects with super cool people

and I recently made a Sylvix zine with @/wildkitte, where I illustrated Kitte's fic c: it's my pride and joy, please check it out; not to be biased but it's pretty neat

as for other fandom related events: I've done Big Bangs, a few Secret Santas and did art for ship weeks

I've posted about 1/2 of the complete story on AO3 now and I think yall deserve a special shout out your comments and theories are so inspiring and I hope I can post the rest of it soon. I'm up to 90K words now and I PROMISE those of you waiting for angst, it is coming.

“Lin call me crazy but I think you enjoyed yourself, even if you did slip a bit of work in at the end.” 

“Having someone to fight other than my sister helped.” Lin said plainly. 

“I see,” Kya said, “so in summary, you like having me around.” 

Lin watched her family walk inside, busied by their own chatter and reflections of the evening. Suyin offered pointers and Bataar offered his excitement and encouragement. 

When they were inside, she turned back to Kya, who was watching her a little too intently. 

The sky had darkened significantly, Lin hadn't noticed before, but the stars were out. The sky wasn't quite black, but rather a stark shade of navy. The moon was almost full, a few more days and the fox-wolves would be audible from inside the dome. 

“Maybe I do,” Lin replied. “Would that be so bad?”

Kya seemed surprised, looking from Lin, to the house, to the sky before her eyes landed back on her. 

Lin's stomach tumulted in nervousness, or excitement, or both. 

You're not exactly subtle. 

Suyin was right, she wasn't subtle. She never had been. When she was angry she made it obvious. When she was frustrated she was expressive. She had held a grudge for twenty years because of how un-subtle she was. 

“Not at all,” Kya answered, her eyes darting back and forth with nervousness. 

There was a knock on the glass, so Lin looked to see her niece waving her over. 

“That can't be good,” Lin said, looking back to Kya. 

“Always the pessimist.” Kya laughed, brushing past her. Her shoulder nearly made Lin stumble with the impact. Kya's face turned at just the right angle that Lin could see a grin form when she thought Lin couldn't see. 

Lin sighed contently before following the others inside. 

She watched Kya in front of her, hoping the waterbender wouldn't turn around and catch her smile.

Bruce looks taken aback, like something is happening outside of his set parameters. From how Dick tried to explain it: apparently, Bruce and Korvin have a whole “pen pals” routine going on, and it’s still thriving despite them sharing the same living quarters for the past few months?

Do they actually waste stamps on this? Where do they hide the envelopes?

(Dick raised his hands in surrender at that line of questioning.)

Tim knows Bruce is a creature of habit and standards of operation—of which he completely respects because it’s efficient—but his staunch adherence to routine is next-level neurotic. Normally, he'd be furious about being sidetracked.

Yet, Korvin’s thrown caution to the wind and got so mad over math, like the fussy nerd that he tries to hide being, that he’s directly confronting Bruce—full “David vs Goliath” vibes here. And he's winning.

“I trust your work,” Bruce finally says, holding his hand out for the papers.

That only makes Korvin’s face twitch harder. “Sure. Why not. Everyone needs a bit of make-believe. Escapism in these trying times and shitass economy.”

“‘Shitass economy,’” Cass murmurs, of course latching onto the bit that everyone reacts to.

Babs sighs in disgust.

will you tell me some more about this Joel Miller fella? a lot of my generic horny posts end up in the Joel Miller fandom, which leads me to believe that he might be my type, but I know NOTHING about him.

omg 👀 i will gladly take this opportunity to talk about him!!

so he’s like the main protagonist of the last of us, one of my favorite video games of all time (and which now has a live action series on hbo). there’s also a part 2 of the game but i have very mixed feelings about it lmao

but anyways! he’s very much the rough and tough stoic gruff traumatized Daddy type. emotionally constipated with unhealthy coping mechanisms but is suddenly tasked with being responsible for a child—one of my favorite tropes of all time.

is distrustful and loves to keep people at a distance but is also capable of being fiercely loyal, VERY much to a fault lmao. overprotective as hell. basically fuel to the fire for girlies with specific types of daddy issues

i will say that pedro pascal did a great job with him in the live action series, but honestly nothing quite beats the video game version voiced and acted by troy baker for me. after spending hours upon hours with him in the game he’s just deeply rooted in my brain. he is ear and eye candy to the max and i feel personally attacked every time i listen to his voice

so yeah!! i don’t know too much about arthur morgan but i just pick up some similar vibes from the things i’ve seen hehe ❤️ joel makes me Very Unwell and i suspect something similar would happen if i were to get involved with rdr2

gonna be honest, the only (2) characters I've been drawing for the past 3 years have been felix and sylvain fire emblem, who did i used to draw before sylvix fire emblem, who knows, certainly not me so I'm gonna say hands. love to draw them. would love to know how to draw them. esp hand holding. (oh and serious answer for the character: artemy burakh is a bitch to draw)

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

oh boyyyyyy the list is endless :'D but one project I'm particularly sad I never got to pursue was a kuroyaku aus zine I wanted to make with a friend! We had a very neat concept imo but lack of time made us put a stop on the project. I found some sketches I made for it tho
