you know what really pisses me off? so many people acting like he is the worst person out there and no one will miss him. A LOT of people are grieving now and missing him including people that these people supposedly follow and care about. liam was not the supervillain people wanted him to be. he was messed up and did messed up things likely because of what happened to him. this conversation deserves so much more nuance than people are giving it. and maybe it’s too early to have this conversation now but it’s helping me process and grieve so i’m really writing this for me. people are complex and doing bad things doesn’t make you a bad person or someone worthy of death without being given the chance to make things right. and another thing, it is SO hypocritical to make fun of him and look down on him like he’s the ultimate Bad Guy meanwhile i bet every single person you have ever admired in the spotlight has likely also done bad things or at least things you wouldn’t be proud of. fame is an illness and it can cause people to harm others because they were hurt themselves. human beings are a culmination of everything that they’ve been through and everything they’ve done. he is not only the bad things he’s done and it’s okay and normal to grieve him as a whole person, because he was one.

Seeing people complain about Liam as if he hasn’t single handedly made this race interesting

I wonder, for your gilded au, why do ford and stan see Liam as more of a "little" brother? Is it because he came into their lives later, or because of how he behaves, or because he is just physically very small compared to them?

For how knowledgeable Liam is, he is brand new to Earth and it certainly shows. His curiosity and thirst to learn has a childish undertone that the Pines brothers pick up on and find endearing. Liam is much, much older than them, but they can't help but see their young selves in him. Hungry for knowledge and adventure.

Liam is also surprisingly vulnerable for a Bill Cipher variant. He's not immortal and not all-powerful like most of his ilk. Liam still has a deep well of power to pull from, but eventually it will run low and he'll need to replenish it. That's where Ford's "pills" come into play (which was first introduced in this fic).

Lastly, he's just small. Lol. He is a little smaller that most Bill Ciphers to help him conserve energy (the smaller he is, the less power it takes to make himself hover). Sometimes he'll even shrink small enough to sit in the palm of a hand, which the Pines brothers simply adore. They get extra attentive and protective when Liam is that small.

Those are the reasons why they consider him their "little" brother.

A new chapter of ‘Transdimensional Arc!! Alcor Finds a Ford’ (by @random-dragons-interest-hoarde) came out recently, and I just had to draw the delphinidae dimension residents!

The orca (named Graham) was described as having lots of scars, but I don’t actually know how or where his humanoid self got them, so I just gave him rake marks. (Rake marks are just a fancy name for the scars orcas get from each other)

I Drew some Dolphin!Alcor as well, even though he probably doesn’t exist in this dimension, because I love him and we got his canonical dolphin species confirmed by Stan (who’s name I changed a bit to be more dolphin-y)

Closeups and notes below

I tried to replicate Graham’s wing(?) pattern things on his fins, and his horns(?) on his eye markings, but I’m not so sure how well it turned out. I also tried to replicate Liam’s tattoos from ‘Once Again, Again’ (by @vallis-cineris---wanderer) because I have many theories of how he exists in that world (this will be a separate post once I get my thoughts together). Funnily enough, this is the first fanart of Liam I’ve ever made.

Also some closeups of Fiddleford McBucket, because despite saying I wouldn’t draw him, I did and love how it turned out!

Quick tangent but I’d like to give a thank you/shoutout to Dragon’s Hoard for writing dolphins in a positive light. Recently, dolphins have been getting a terrible rep, and it’s gotten old. There’s duality in anything intelligent, and dolphins s are some of the most intelligent creatures around. Even then, they’re just animals acting on instinct, and we shouldn’t hold them to the same standards we hold humans to.
