First of all let's make one thing clear, Uramichi has no idea how he actually got together with you. He never expected it.

He tries very hard to be a good boyfriend, attentive to your needs. He finally found someone who wants to stay with him after all, he doesn't want to lose you

In the early stages of your relationship he tried to quite smoking. Yeah it never worked out

He did start working out more though, mostly whenever you are with him so you can watch him

On that note, he likes it when you take care of him, handing him a towel to wipe his sweat with, a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Surprisingly enough he doesn't get annoyed when you complain about him smoking, he has seen the way you look at him or to be more precise, the way you stare at him with such admiration and a hint of lust

Usually he doesn't like talking about his job or his coworkers but you have caught him smiling while talking about the kids. That has happened a solid 3 times.

Isn't very big on dates. Sure he won't mind going out to a nice restaurant or to see a movie once in a while but he prefers it when you come over to his place to chill

He isn't very big on pda either. The most he will do while the two of you are out is hold your hand or (if he is in a good mood) hold you by your waist

He isn't really touchy when the two of you are in private. He loves cuddles and hugs and he loves it when the two of you cuddle in bed but he also appreciates his personal space

Loves kissing you on the cheek and the forehead

He isn't very observant. Unless you make it pretty obvious that something is wrong he won't pick up on it

Because of that, communication in your relationship with Uramichi is the biggest key to make this whole thing work

That man is always so tired and under the weather that he constantly neglects himself and as much as he tries not to, sometimes he neglects you as well

Not once has he forgotten a date, let's be clear, but he might forget to ask how your day was or he might not be completely focused while the two of you are together

When he actually realises that what he is doing is wrong though, he will be quick to apologise

He also won't talk about what is bothering him unless you ask him directly and even then whether he will give you a clear answer or not is debated

That man is depressed. That is the only thing he will be clear about from the start. He wants to make sure that you know that there will be periods of time when he won't be himself and that it has nothing to do with you

Anyways, you get to see him often. In fact the two of you spend almost every night together to the point where half of his things are at your place and vice versa

He has a picture of you, a very very random one, that always looks at whenever he is at work

Uramichi doesn't say 'I love you' often. When he does, it is always followed by a kiss on the lips and a big warm hug with him practically trying to make your bodies one

A/N: Yeah this, this is so self indulgent. Madly in love with them. All of them. Uramichi and Kumatani are new sources of peace for me, so enjoy.

Rating: Teen (17+) : 7.5/10 chili peppers for spiciness...the suggestive nature of these are pretty obvious.

Omota Uramichi

Kissing Uramichi is firm and desperate. He’s not “falling apart” desperate, but his desperation allows him to put all his weariness aside, and he’s letting every bit of his desire for intimacy and love with you out. He wants you, and he wants you badly. It took a fair amount of time to work up the courage to finally act on his feelings, and now he’s finally here.

He’s cradling your neck with intensity, not tight enough to hurt you but with enough strength to assure himself that you won’t slip away and out of existence. He’s not the type to go wild or feral - Uramichi’s passion isn’t unhinged. Rather, it’s grounding. Kissing you grounds him into emotions that had he hadn’t felt in…forever. He usually lives with his heart under lock and key, but kissing you allows him to feel alive and at peace all at once because his heart is finally free from its cage. He’s pressing his lips to yours, kissing you deeply for moments at a time, allowing you to breathe in between while his arms hold you against his body. As more time passes, the kisses get longer. He’s goading you into melting into him as well.

If your hands come up to his hair, pull it lightly. If your hands end up around his neck, massage it. If they end up on the sides of his arms, squeeze. Just trust me. He’s going to get flustered in all three instances. But you’re also going to instantly reduce his stress level by like 3x what it was. All he wants is to assure himself of how big and intense his emotions for you are. So giving him that same attention back will have him falling madly in love.

Kissing Iketeru is sweet and enjoyably delirious. His kisses are plentiful and feathery, quick and deceptively innocent. 

He’s cupping your face softly, just enough to tilt your head up and let you feel how soft his hands are. He smiles at you, inspecting your features, before finally placing a quick peck to your lips, adoration bright in his eyes. From there, the pace will only pick up, as he continues to peck your lips again and again. It’s cute, and you can’t help but giggle. But what you don’t realize is that even though his lips aren’t against yours for long, the rate at which he reattaches them to you affects you in a different way. You don’t have time to breathe as he keeps kissing you, slowly draining you of your oxygen. It’s why the lightheadedness creeps up on you, unsuspecting. Your head gets dizzy, your chest gets lighter, and his lips are so sweet. It’s unintentional on his end, the way he gets you in such a vulnerable mind space. Sweet boy is slow on the uptake, but once he realizes that your shimmering eyes have become heavily lidded, and your sweet giggles are airy gasps, he can’t unfeel the new warmth in his stomach. His approach doesn’t change, he sticks to airy, light, quick pecks. But he moves off of your lips and kisses the rest of your face (he really does just enjoy the process of loving on you) before moving down your jawline and onto your neck, sneaking in a few nibbles and giggling against your skin when you gasp.

Really, if you just giggle and hum with him, show him you enjoy his love as much as he enjoys giving it, he’ll continue to love on you without hesitation. 

Kumatani Mitsuo

Kissing Kumatani is maddeningly addictive. Don’t let this man’s calm and quiet demeanor fool you, he’s more devious than you’d think. He’s the only one who likes to take his time with you, driving you near insane with how he draws out the process. 

He’s pinning your arms above your head to the wall or the couch/bed (wherever you guys are), making sure you’re immobile and incapable of interfering with his plans to take his time (though the way you squirm is an added pleasure of the act). He takes his time between kisses, admiring your features closely. While his face and lips stay neutral, all the adoration and love he has for you can be found in his softened gaze. When things escalate with Kumatani, he doesn’t get fast and intense. Rather, he slows down even further: drawing out the kisses, drawing out the time between them, letting his lips hover over yours, pulling back when you get too impatient, laughing when you whine, and then sealing his lips over your own with palpable intentions to ruin you. Kumatani loves to be in control, and he loves to tease. But he also loves to dote. He’ll have his thumb massaging the base of your palm while he’s holding your wrists. Any bites he leaves on the tips of your ears or your neck will be soothed over with his tongue and small kisses.

If you want to feed into his desires, then whine. When he’s exceptionally mean while teasing you, whine without inhibition. He’ll give in and give you everything you want. Truthfully, there’s nothing he loves more than teasing you into a blushing embarrassed mess and being the one to make you feel better right after.

Usahara Tobikichi

Kissing Usahara is indulgent and honestly kinda amusing. 

When you first initiate (because Usahara never thought the day would come), he is super nervous. He’s suddenly hyper aware of every small detail he hasn’t paid attention to for the last 3 months. He’s worried about looking like a fish or not turning his head the right way. He’s insecure about maybe not being good enough or having enough experience. 

The anxiety heightens the moment your lips lock onto his, his eyes going wide. But it all goes out the window once your lips start to massage his own, his eyes rolling up slowly before he fully closes them, getting lost in how good you’re making him feel.  All Usahara really needs is attention. Let your hands run over his shoulders and arms, up and down his chest, and against his thighs. His breath will hitch against your lips, and he’ll instinctively reach his own hands up to hold onto you, either weaving his fingers into your hair or gripping your waist. He’s going to whine and push up against you to get more of your touch, and as he melts further into your kisses, he might even grab your hands and guide them over his body again.

Usahara will also beg for praise, because he also wants lots of affirmation. He may not look like the type, but he actually really does care how you feel throughout the whole process as well, and he doesn’t know any way to gauge that other than straight up asking. So expect a lot of whimpering of “am I doing good?” between kisses. He wants to be sure you like and want him, too. If you praise him enough, tell him how good he is, he’ll be like putty in your arms.

Author's notes: I'm obsessed with this show. Comfort characters all around. And they're some of the most well crafted characters as well. Expect more on them, I hope this fandom is alive.

The screams and shouts of joyful children ring throughout Uramichi's ears, as he forcibly stretches his smile beyond what he thought was even possible. It's not like he doesn't want to be smiling, but when it's part of the job description, it doesn't feel that fun anymore. It's not like the children hadn't noticed it too; the dark circles of tiredness under his eyes, fitted with his pale complexion, it was no surprise that Uramichi had started being nicknamed 'Panda Bear' by the TV station president's grandson; it's just a shame that his co-workers started calling him that too.

"Nice work today, Mr Panda!"

The grating sound of Derekida's voice: not exactly what he wants to hear right now.

"Now, go over to the Prep Room, we need you to star in the new segment next week, and we need to measure you for the pig costume!"

A pig? Of all things?

As Uramichi walks to the Prep Room, only the worst scenarios run through his mind. Is the pig costume multicoloured? Will I have to wear a snout? Will I have to walk on my hands and feet for the entire segment? Will I have to do gymnastics in the costume?

That's when he hears rustling, and the sound of a phone video recording starting.

He unlocks the door, scanning the room, making sure there aren't any theives; not that anything that comes out of Hanabee's mind is worth stealing...

He catches sight of you, panning the phone camera across the set pieces, costumes and props.

"Hey..." he says.

You jolt a little, ending the recording, and turning around.

"You can't film here." His expression isn't exactly one of strong conviction, but he's suspicious of you nonetheless.

You slip your phone back into your pocket and say "I know, I'm sorry, my kid just really loves 'Together with Maman', so I wanted to show him some of the things that we made for next week's segment."

His face softens a bit at your explanation, before his eyes fall onto the pig costume; and it drops again.

"...you made this...?" You can hear the tiredness in his voice: he's not looking forward to next week.

You let out a pathetic giggle, sympathizing with his dislike towards the - certainly interesting - design.

"Well, it was initially meant to look like this,", you show Uramichi a sketchpad with an array of concept designs, "but Hanabee was screaming about how "It's Wrong!" or "You need to do it again!", so this is the result of the last 5 days of overtime.".

Uramichi flips through the pages of the sketchpad; obviously, it's a pig costume, one design can't be that much better than the other, but your sketches showed real skill.

"These, are actually good." Uramichi says, turning page after page of the sketchpad, looking at previous rejected designs.

You smile, happy to meet someone who genuinely appreciates your efforts. "Thanks." You start walking over to your bags and begin packing.

Curious to learn a little more about somebody on the team with actual talent, he asks you a question.

"You said you've been working overtime, is your husband watching your kid right now?"

"Oh, we're not married anymore, but my ex-husband is looking after him until next Monday."

"Oh- I'm sorry." Uramichi is a little shaken, afraid he's just asked a personal question, or maybe reminded you of something you didn't want to remember.

You've heard it all before, so this really doesn't bother you.

"Don't worry about it, our split was amicable.", you smile at him reassuringly.

He smiles back, eased by your kindness.

"I'm glad to hear that." he replies.

But. It's a little awkward now. Neither of you feel like you can just leave after that. So.

Suddenly, Mr Derekida bursts in, marvelling at the different costumes and props, followed by Edei, who tells him to "Calm down."

You take this as your cue to leave, waving at Uramichi, who does the same, before walking out.

Edei walks up to Uramichi with a smirk on his face.

"...Did I do something?" Uramichi asks, genuinely confused.

Edei's brows shift in confusion, "You mean, they didn't say anything?"

"Say what?"

"Y/N? They said nothing to you?"

"Well, we spoke, but it was like 1 minute."

Edei sighs in disappointment.

"You didn't hear this from me, but," Edei lowers his voice as to not allow Mr Derekida to eavesdrop.

"I overheard Y/N talking to Tadano the other day. They've got the hots for you man."

A lot of thoughts flood Uramichi's head at once; What?: They’ve got a kid...: I probably should already have kids...: Do I make a move?: Do I wait for them to make a move?: Do I even want them to make a move? Who even says "got the hots for you" anymore?

Edei chuckles a little at Uramichi's face, which is still processing what he was just told.

Mr Derekida slaps Uramichi on the shoulder, slamming directly on the area where the strain is the most painful, causing him to groan a little in pain, while also bringing him back to reality.

"Hope your shoulder gets better before next week, the kids need to ride the pig-horse in order to save the fish from the knight!"

....What does that even mean? And is that why the costume is so, that?

Uramichi sighs for what may well have been the hundredth time that day, before taking his leave.

"AND REMEMBER YOUR LINES!" yells Derekida.

As he walks home, Uramichi remembers Edei’s words.

Perhaps he should take a chance…

A/n: I won't hide from you, at first I was confused because I thought I am not writing for Kumatani but I double checked and yeah I am just stupid.

Kumatani

Kumatani is really calm as we all know and he sort of strikes me as a somewhat traditional guy when it comes to courting you

He won't deny that he has fallen in love with you, he knows himself ver well and he is confident in his abilities

it didn't come off as a shock when he found himself sort of longing for you when he went out with the cast of the show and after some thought he just casually reached the conclusion that his feelings towards you aren't so friendly as he thought

He won't do much when it comes to courting you but that doesn't mean he thinks he is sure that he can make you his

I think Kumatani is more of an actions than words person which means that the only way for him to show you that he is interested in you will be through subtle gifts like chocolates, food, maybe something more thoughtful like a teddy bear

Also, I think his confession will be really heartfull (he prepared for this for a week)

Uramichi

Uramichi will simply be in denial

He doesn't know how it happened, how he fell for you and for a long time will simply just brush it off and will desperately try not to think about it

But whenever you join the cast after shooting he will somehow sit close to you, laugh at your jokes, maybe steal a few glances at your outfit

It reaches the point where he can't function properly without you occupying his thoughts

He will casually confess as if it is nothing

Kumatani doesn't get jealous, it is as simple as that

He knows himself, he knows you and he trusts you more than anything so he is more than sure that you will turn whoever is hitting on you down

The two of you were strolling along the boulevard with your coffees in hand. The sun was setting above the sea, making place for the moon. He turns to you.

‘Have I told you yet how beautiful you looked today?’

‘I only looked beautiful today?’

A chuckle escapes his throat,

‘Don’t twist my words honey, you know what I mean’.

You give him a quick peck on the cheek.

He reaches for your hand, interlaces your fingers, and leads you to the nearby pier where you both sit and watch the sun fade and the stars in the night sky light up. An exchange of words wasn’t necessary, just enjoying each others company was enough.
