#chickentherapythursday Today is ALL about the chicken's! Volunteer work down at the bird farm, along with looking after my own ❤ So many people I speak to are scared or afraid of birds/chickens but actually when you spend time with them they are beautiful funny little things! They are like mini raptors with a huge heart! They are very nosy and inquisitive, always want to see what your doing and will follow you everywhere in case you have a treat in your pocket! Kicking off Tuesday with POSITIVITY! If we allow ourselves to think and believe negative thoughts we start to live by them. Are you Guilty? I know I am!!! IT'S FRIDAY!!!!!! Good Morning!!!!! Now I thought this was a great way to start the day! I love this and hate this quote in equal passionate measures.... WHY? To love yourself again as you once did is not an easy task, you can't just click your fingers and all is well again after suffering a blow of some kind, whether thats an anxiety attack or depression mood. However I do believe that you have to, like with an addiction, come to the realisation in your mind that enough is enough and you want to be lift yourself up again and be the truly amazing person you know you are! So my advice to you this morning, depending what stage you are at, is if you know you are ready to take that first step into recovery then reach out to someone. @mind Its not as scary as you think... i promise!!! How did we live without filters.... This pretty much sums up my current mood... Tired, drained, grumpy and moody! Felt low all day, mainly due to the cold my lovely little demons passed onto me! My Mildred...... Mildred is one of my favourites (I say that about every chicken 😂) but she is truly adorable! She loves to spend time in the house with the kids and watching what we get up to! Today definitely didn't turn out as planned, but thats just life! I have managed to get my priority list done but that was about all! What social media doesn't show you... I have a real passion to show the world what social media doesn't want us to see! This is me on the left.... after the hustle and bustle of getting the kids ready for school. The panic of losing Corey's school shoes, the where's your school tie, and making sure all kid's had actually out their lunches in their bags!!! We don't all wake up looking fabulous! We all have bad hair! We all don't wake up with a full face! We are all in PJ'S rushing around manically! So about 10.30 I went live in my beauty group on Facebook, showing my quick makeup routine and how i do my flick trick with my eyeliner! My anxiety is undercontrol today, slight wobble last night, but it was because I was tired. So I meditated and journalled, re-wrote my jobs list and managed to fall asleep by 8 45! Score !!! Dizzy! So today is housework day! I have been playing with my make up today, using an eyeshadow palette gifted to me by the lovely Angelique Halliday and i have to say to add some sparklers your day its the palette to use! I have this annoying anxiety niggly feeling today, I'm not sure what it is and I am trying to keep thinking what is causing me the most worry, once I can identify the problem, I can work on it to solve it. Do you ever that feeling in the pit of your stomach that you know something is bothering you but can't actually work out what it is. I don't want it to last all day, so if i can't get rid of it by staying active and getting on with jobs, i will do some Journalling to see if that helps, along with meditation and affirmations. Our whole existence is built on energy and vibration, and with my anxiety, it amplifies the sensations tenfold. So it's all about understanding and acceptance. This is where I am... Its Tuesday... its the first day ALL children are at school for the first time in 6 months. I have been out in the garden giving it a good brush and wash down, and now its my time to chill wrapped in a blanket watching @thismorning for an hour. I can work from my phone, whilst resting, I can catch up with my friends, I can take time for me and recharge, up my vibe and practice self care. Last night was horrendous, kids were like feral animals, totally not understanding the new routine of school and evenings again, winding me up, winding each other up and generally causing as much bloody chaos as possible in 3 hours! Day 2.... #nationalchickenmonth This is Bluebell, isnt she a beauty! One of lockdown chicks 😍😍 This weekend has been a real eye opener for me in so many ways, I have had some amazing UPS, and some serious DOWNS!! So Friday night i watched #worldtradecenter the film, it really hit home, all the stupid things I stress about, some mess on my carpet, the dishes not being done , or not putting the washing away and thousands of people were affected, trapped, killed from that one day. I realised that my problems are small problems. I have a family, a home, our health etc so now i need to carry on my journey to a less anxious future. Now i am not comparing my life to that but it does put things in perspective! This morning, the kids decided they were going to go for the top 100 ways to piss me off! They weren't satisfied with the top 10 they were going for the record today! I swear my neighbours are sick of me shouting "stop doing that" or "no you can't have that" or "leave that alone" !
