Calyx (Voltron oc)

-so the one thing that really annoyed me about how Voltron was created was there was no prototype, they had no physical proof that the project would work, so here is the fix!

-The white lion was a prototype for the voltron project, and it is smaller and less finished than the other lions, however it was supposedly 'destroyed' when the other lions were sent away

-the trash planet that it was stored on lead a group of refugees, including a white paladin, to use it to protect themselves and create a safe place, near the edge of the known universe away from the Galra. this soon became a place full of refugees and soon a trade planet for rebellions and resistances, the views they follow mean that the planet is almost entirely cash-free and relys more on trade than buying.

Calyx

-Calyx is very anti-establishment and watches over the entry ways and trade route, making sure that theres no-one suspicious coming in or out, however upon inheriting the lion, they feel as if it wants to find the others, causing them to find Allura's castle and the others during the season 1 finale.

-the white lion relys mainly on stealth and tracking, so they stay in the background for a while

-Calyx also has mild chronic pain and uses a wheelchair sometimes, they also use braces and tech to ease the pain

Oberon Starlu

(He/She)

6'1'

The Elemental Master of Anima. He is a part Oni as well.

Their abilities include talking to animals and staking on abilities and features of animals, though not fully, as that would come under form.

She was first introduced in the tournament of elements, and stays close to the ninja after, often helping keep the monastery running while their away.

Before the tournament they were close to Bolobo, living in the same farming village. During TOE they get close to Griffin, Neuro and Shade. They’re Very close to Griffin. :)

His Oni blood is very diluted, the only reminder of this is their horn(s).

I tried to make her the opposite of everything wyldfire is, She grew up in a high class family that was close to the ninjago royal family. Though she holds herself like she sees herself hightly, shes quite shy and is a bit of a recluse. through her family she learnt basic sword skills. after the merge she went to the crossroads, eventually meeting Arin, Sora, Euphrasia and Wyldfire.

🌻 Other facts about him:

he was raised in what became legion territory;

came back home one day to find it razed to the ground, no family members in sight (his big brother was enslaved and later became a legionary, then decanus);

a couple years later, as the legion conquered more territory, he escaped to the ncr through a desolate stretch of the mined border, following the trail of corpses as safe passage;

became homeless shortly after, relying on sexual work to survive ( and ended up pregnant by accident);

was found by Marilou and was taken in by her, later starting working as a courier.

A very brief scars' ref under the cut (nudity alert! He's basically a ken doll but it felt strange leaving him like that so i hid his naughty bits anyway lol).

Long story short, my housing situation got a lot more expensive and I’m running low on scholarships. It’s my senior year and I graduate in December, so I just need to get through until then—but I’m stressed as hell about being able to afford my last semester in college. I would really appreciate any help :( and you get art out of it!

Basics

I can do just about anything in terms of species. Humans, D&D races, anthro/furry, animal/feral, mechanical, monstrous, alien, cyborg alien beasts, you name it.

I can also draw pets, you, friends and family, fictional characters, whatever.

I can do mild to moderate gore, but I don't have experience with excessive gore, nor do I really like it. Same for body horror.

I will not draw NSFW art. Non-graphic nudity or romantic moments are cool though!

I reserve the right to turn down requests based on my availability, whether I believe them to be out of my skill range, etc, etc.

Notes:

I can take payments through ko-fi, PayPal, or Venmo. All comms will be run by you a couple of times throughout the process to receive feedback and see what is and isn't working.

Full body digital pieces come with a simplistic background (ie. pattern, very simplified environment/effects, gradients, etc). Sometimes I get silly with it and might add some extra detail, but I won’t charge for extra detail that I added in the process just because I had an idea and was having fun with it.

DRAMATIC: if any of you remember my "grab bag" commissions this is of the same vein. I take the characters and you give me themes and props related to the character(s) and i will create a dramatic composition that will be rendered and painted.

Hello…! I don’t really know how to go about this but, I’m trying anyways.

I’ve been struggling on the anatomy for a Hualian reference sheet I’m doing. (It’s a ref sheet of how I draw them + my headcanons for them so I can try and be more consistent with my art.) It looks incredibly stiff and I am having trouble depicting them how I see them in my head when it comes to the slight differences in their body shapes. This is something I’ve been working on for quite some time and I’m still not past the sketch.

I was originally going to dm artists I like who have a higher skill in anatomy than I do, and ask for criticism, but I feel like that would be seen as impolite so I’m trying this approach that was recommended to me (ty, you know who y’all are.)

So… If anyone with more experience than me, and a honed skill in drawing proper male anatomy would like to, I’d really appreciate some constructive criticism and maybe some assistance in my process of finishing this ref. It’s the one piece I’m letting myself nitpick to perfection so I wanna make sure I get it to a standard I’m okay with. I will appreciate criticism from as many people who are willing.

A heads up however, this ref sheet depicts the characters nude so only volunteer if you’re okay with that (and an adult, obviously.) We will have to discuss it via Twitter or Discord, since I don’t trust Tumblr despite it being artistic nudity.

Prices are generally SET but there may be slight increases for very complex designs or scenes though this is rare.

I offer quite a large variety of things but if its not on the list please do not ask. The list is made for both your and my convenience.

These are fully rendered (shaded) and have additional details to polish them.

My art can and will be posted wherever I please though I will not take credit for your character. You may use my art for profile pictures, backgrounds or PERSONAL use with credit. My art may NOT be used for anything commercial including youtube videos in any capacity, twitch stream layouts, subscriber, donation or sub alerts. You may not print, sell, or produce any merchandise with my art regardless of if its intended for personal use.

You can post the artwork anywhere or use it on your profile as long as there is CLEAR and OBVIOUS credit to me with a link of some kind. You canot use the art for profit, that includes prints, merchandise or use in videos or games in any capacity. You may not edit the work or remove the watermark.

HAIII,, Here is Desmond for dy au :3,, I redid her ref sheet and I think it looks so much better than the original sprite edit! (comparison)

As a bit of a warning;; There will be nonsexual nudity in the post going over scars from surgeries and wounds (not very graphic)

As usual, going to go through each bullet.

•Pronouns

Desmond goes by He/She/They/Its. Everything pretty much goes for them. She’s genderfluid.

•AroAce

Desmond in this au is aroace. He still had that past partner like canon desmond does. But after she had disappeared, it helped him discover himself after being unable to be a suitable partner for anyone else due to stress and general complications with understanding people.

•Artistry

Desmond is still very much into art, but taxidermy is what she values higher than most. She thinks it’s a beautiful way to show the life an animal once lived or a creative way to express oneself through an animal.

•Airship or water ship?

Desmond in this au owns a mixture of both! She owns a cruise ship with an attached airship at the top (the Bostonius)! Making her able to leave the ship without having to turn the cruise around and an easier place to have the airship without having to put it into a hanger. Her crewmates often call her red or dessy, a fun little nickname!

•Glasses?

Surprisingly, her glasses are only for show. She’s got no lenses in those red rims and are merely an accessory.

•Profession

Desmond studied the arts of archeology and anthropology. He’s well versed in the two topics. Archeology is something that peaked his interest since it was a major thing in his childhood. Often times, his father would bring him to dig sites to see pottery from the past and how humans used to live. Unfortunately, his father was taken by a suspicious group of people, as well as his mother.

Anthropology also peaked Desmond’s interest as it went along with Archeology. Learning about how human being behaved throughout history over time is interesting to them.

This is more of a habit but, Desmond is also an interested hunter. While learning about different cultures and their practices, she learned more and more about different hunting strategies used by many cultures. These were inspirational, so it slowly became a hobby. Of course only in areas that allowed hunting. Nothing non-ethical for her!

Again, gonna do what I gotta do. A lot of what’s in here is related to lore stuff that some people may have or have not read..sooo tralala

This ref is general and not affected by gameplot!

•Similarities and differences

Desmond and Descole act VERY differently. Desmond is simply just an act for the public eye.

Also, not called “Jean Descole” in this au. She’d probably find it rather ugly to be called “Jean” and thinks that name is stupid. Her canon counterpart would definitely hate her.

Desmond and Descole both share the same pronouns, that part does not change. Same with their sexuality.

Desmond is more open and tries her best to communicate with people, while Descole acts more cold and serious. Descole also gets agitated more easily compared to Desmond.

•Outfit and design.

Descole’s outfit is made to hunt. It’s hunting gear. She has white hunting gloves and a purple hunting jacket.

The boa and cravat is for style, might as well look good when you’re hunting. (Not..very affective..but don’t tell her that..)

The cape is also for style but it’s also used to hide her belt and anything else she has concealed in her pockets. The pattern of the cape isn’t very consistent but it has the overall pattern of a leopard with a soft texture. Often times her chihuahua, treats, enjoys to lay in it. (Treats is the Keats dupe for this au! hehe). Can ditch the cape when she needs to run after prey and it’s slowing her down.

Her boots are lightweight so she can easily run after her prey if needed.

her hat is funny, that’s why I did it lols. She can’t own a cat, or else it would knock it off all the time haha!

Under everything, it’s just a plain cream shirt with her hunting pants.

The shadow is a design choice that I like hehe, it allows her to blend in with the darkness since she mostly hunts at night. Also makes her mysterious hehehe lalalal! Desmond can also have this shadow to show the cover being blown.

Mask to conceal her identity.

Wig is not connected to the hat, if she wants to take it off, she’ll take it off from the front, similarly to how the masked gentleman takes off the costume for the big reveal.

•Weaponry

Descole carries a belt on her waist that holds her smaller tools. For example, her cautery tool she stole from her adopted father (Raymond). Carrying it around incase she needs it for prey. (Of course, it’s only been used on one creature she’s hunted.)

Another weapon in her arsenal would be her handgun. It’s used near the ending of Randall’s game. She has larger ones but she carries a small one for quick trips and not for longer hunts.

Lastly, she owns a net guns. Made by herself. The case is a deep dark purple with a red “D” to label it as her own. It has foam to protect each netgun head and handle. The yellow button on the handle is to release her white web onto her prey. She mostly uses her net guns instead of killing what’s she’s hunting right away.

• Diet.

She’s a hunter that eats her prey. if her prey so happens to be Human, she won’t find a problem using every piece that she can.

With her normal hunting, she often uses every part of the animal. For example, if she were to hunt a deer, she’d use every piece.

Though, she has yet to eat a human being. She had plans to feast on a red headed woman after her plans had failed since she had no more use for her, but that sadly didn’t go through. Once you aren’t needed anymore in her eyes, she’ll find a way to satisfy her hunger.

This is how Des looks underneath everything!

•Under Both

During the Randall game, Des gets shot in her shoulder, leaving a scar after raymond tried to tend to its wound.

Des had gotten breast reduction surgery by raymond. Raymond has surgical experience, he’s a retired surgeon who decided to work in an orphanage where he met Des and her future crew.

Raymond is like a father to des and was happy to make her feel more confident in himself.

The wound on their right hand was caused by desperate measures going through the labyrinth in Randall’s game. She carved a pathway onto her hand so she wouldn’t get lost.

He’s got a symmetry line down its chest. Idk, just a neat body detail I wanted to add because I think it’s nice! hehe

• Under Descole

She wears a binder under her descole outfit to appear more flat chested. She doesn’t mind her breasts but she’d rather wear that when she’s hunting that a bra. Feels more contained.

I'm opening Commissions

I'm currently working on my carrd page for my commissions but until then, here are my prices! I'm opening 5 slots for now.

Greyscale / Monochrone Sketch

Single Character - Bust: 20 € - Halfbody: 26 € - Fullbody: 32 €

2nd Character: 50 % of first

Simple Background included in price.

Props (like weapons, a piece of furniture, a familiar) cost an extra 5 - 10%.

The sketch is greyscale by default and can include coloured accents (such as for eyes, tattoos etc). If you want a monochrone sketch instead, specify the colour.

Coloured render commissions are currently not open yet but I plan to open them sometime in the future (probably when my carrd page goes life). I do draw: - Fandom stuff - OCs - Ship Art - Nudity/Mild NSFW I do not draw: - Mecha/Furry - Complex Scenery - Explicit nudity (i.e. any detailed depictions of genitals) / Hard NSFW - Real people - OC Ref Sheets - Minors in erotic or sexual contexts of any kind. (I should not even have to say that). - Hateful images (like racist caricatures, depictions of violence against minority groups etc) (also should not need to say that but putting it here anyway to make sure) Payment via Paypal only.

Payment in full after approval of the initial sketch, refunds only if I can't finish your commission.

If you want me to draw an OC, please send me reference images (other art of the character, screenshots, face claims) - the more, the better. If you have a specific pose in mind, also include some reference images for that. Commissions may take up to a month to complete; if it takes me longer, I'll notify you.
