#haven’t eaten since 4pm yesterday #and my food from yesterday was: shitty croissant + handful of gummy bears + a few uncooked noodles + starbucks #like that’s ALL i ate yesterday #which. is not good.#like i’m very well aware that it’s an issue #but i didn’t want to eat dinner and i woke up too late to get breakfast and now i can’t go get lunch for another two hours #but i feel like shit 😀#kinda. yk. need food #tw disordered eating #tw ed #i guess #it’s not really like that’s not Why i haven’t eaten but. to be safe or smth i suppose #edit: just went up like 3 flights of stairs and almost collapsed #this is not a hashtag slay #FUCK :D

sometimes your boyfriend simply chooses to be your biggest tormentor. exhibit a: he’s been teasing you about the (’cute’ in his words) way you eat strawberries for the past several minutes.

“i’m just saying!” he says with a laugh, watching you from the couch. “you’re just so cute about it!”

you still don’t get it, and he hasn’t elaborated in the slightest. you think it might be in the same way he finds his other friends closer to your age cute when they so much as breathe sometimes--like felix. then again, you’ve seen the way felix acts sometimes, and it is, indeed, cute. but all you’re doing is eating some strawberries you cut the tops off of, and you aren’t doing it any cuter than how a person normally eats strawberries. you’re literally just eating them. simple as that.

you pick up the bowl and move over to sit with him instead. “just try to explain.”

and he manages to quell his giggles as he hugs the pillow he’s been holding tighter against his chest. “okay,” he says. “you love strawberries.”

this is a fact. most people know it about you, but you’d say they’re probably your favorite fruit--or among the top of your list if nothing else.

“so you get this really cute look on your face when you eat a really good strawberry,” he says. “also... these,” he reach out, pinching one of your cheeks, and he chuckles again when you grimace. “automatically make you cute. it’s like when jisung eats and his cheeks puff out.”

you swat at his hand, “so you’re saying i look like a squirrel.”

“no!” he laughs, “i’m saying all of it just makes you... cuter.” he paws through the air until he catches your hand in his. “it’s like when you say i’m cute.”

“because you are!”

“i don’t get it--you say it when i’m not even doing anything!”

“because you’re cute!”

he giggles, pulling the bowl of strawberries aside as he ditches the pillow in favor for you. “then i guess,” he places the quickest peck against your lips, eyes crinkling as he smiles hard, “we just have to agree that we’re both cute.”

even if you don’t get it... you think you can agree to that one.

I think it just hit me that I’m actually getting better

#like it feels silly to happen now bc I’ve been on my new meds for months but I was getting worse for so long #and like my physical health is still very two steps forward one and a half back but #this week I’ve been doing things my brain wouldn’t have let me do at all a few months ago because the risk of being sick and making a mess #was too high according to my risk assessment #and I just casually did them multiple times this week without realizing it until after #I walked around in just my underwear. I left the bathroom to grab a towel and dry off #I got changed in my room #I haven’t trusted my body enough to do those since like at latest February 2023 #probably a lot earlier #I ate beans yesterday #I didn’t get scared about not being sick today #normally I get very scared if I’m not because it’s interrupting the routine and what if it means I’m sick at a less manageable time #I just. like I think I’m actually getting better

i watched my lady jane and it's just like!!! amazing!!! spectacular!!!

i keep seeing people saying it fulfilled what bridgerton s3 couldn't and i ardently disagree with the notion that the two need to be compared, it does scratch a similar itch (jane reminds me of eloise so much and i love eloise so of course i love jane)

but if you are in the market for a witty period drama with some of the best romantic tension ever put to screen i would highly recommend

update: peach is doing very well!! she's eating and sleeping normally (sleeping more than normal, really, but that's to be expected)!! after 3 days of not sleeping and a few changes in painkillers, she finally just napped for an hr then, after another day, slept through the whole night (and most of the next day). she's started following all her usual routines again and is very keen to eat! still on some painkillers, but they're not having any horrific side effects anymore

now that im not staying up to keep an eye on her all night (while also dealing with upgrading my computer and my phone and also my sister preparing to go overseas and the dogs barking and howling constantly due to all of the above), i finally got some decent sleep too and slept for about 14 hrs. so today ive got that weird shakiness that i get from sleeping too much, but hey it's better than the whole of the last week

#personal #and i have a working computer that's finally on windows 10 so that's one less thing to have background stress about #and i have a working phone for the first time in.. a year? 1.5 years? idfk. my previous phone was 16gb so i could fit like 2 apps #could barely take pictures (and couldnt store them) and couldnt update most of my apps because i couldnt update my os because no space #so every app ran slow and then eventually my phone would crash if i opened the storage section of the settings #so i couldnt even offload apps so i could delete them while keeping the data for when i downloaded them again #couldnt order medicine remotely because my chemist only lets you do that from the app (not the website)#couldnt control the aircon because that could only be done through an app #missed loads of stuff because i didnt have email notifications because i could only use my browser for emails #couldnt see tumblr polls on mobile because i couldnt update tumblr because i couldnt update my os #left the house less because i had to delete pokemon go and that genuinely helped me go for walks #ive been dealing with all that for a year so this is very exciting and such a ridiculous qol boost #it sucks how much something like that affects your life. what do you mean i need an app for everythingggg #but god im just glad peach is ok. like there was a moment when i was so stressed trying to update my computer because it wasnt working #and then she ate a small bit of food for the first time in 3 days and just. everything was suddenly fine again #and the other night i spent like 6 hrs just sitting here downloading and installing things on my computer #but it was fine because peach was on the chair next to me sleeping through the whole night and it was such a relief #my sister finally got her flight yesterday (after it was moved four days in a row) so that's just one less thing happening #ive started playing bg3 so that's cool and maybe ill get a chance to actually properly watch that new dav trailer lmao #that premiered at 2am on the first night peach was home from surgery and hadnt eaten or slept yet and i was too stressed to care about dav #and it really just went downhill for the next few days #god. ok. today is the first day i can actually breeaaaathe

I made an enormous pile of choc chip cookies and I batched it out for our upstairs and downstairs neighbours, my ma and my great-uncle across town, and my granddad's old pal and his family, and I just got done delivering them and I feel like 🪽🪽🪽🪽🪽🪽

so alight and alive with it all!!!! I love people! I love them!!! I am so full of fruit and phone numbers I probably won't ever call!

#I'm badly depressed so it was a rote mechanical baking exercise yesterday bc I've been meaning to bake sth as a housewarming present #for upstairs for like 2 years now. and they're always so nice to us. and they brought dates from the South with them this time #so I got to do it. finally. and their kid is a big k-pop stan so I got the 👀👀👀👀👀 stare from her but she's super sweet too #and I hope the next Korean she meets is more interesting/less of a fake lol #downstairs (young couple) was happy with me (I watched the cookies disappear in real-time)#my ma and I ate some at the old bazaar while cat-watching which 👌 and then my great-uncle actually finished his!#and then late this evening I went over to the H's who are so chummy and sweet and kept me for an hour #and I got to meet everyone after like 2 years of Mr H telling me his daughter and I would be BFFs #(she's really cool. a single mom working in mech eng? here? the coolest literally)#sooooo yeah that's more socialising than I've done in 2024 put together. and all of them are people I like and wanted to connect with!!!#and I got to do it! I got to talk to all of them and all of them were just so lovely #food continues to be my way of prying the door open and it has yet to fail me :D #I feel whole. Finally. I feel like I'm doing something worthwhile with my waking hours.#and all it took was 300g of butter and a slab of chocolate. I got to know so many neighbours. it filled a void I've been sick from.#.........:) yeah.#thought
