(For anyone who didn’t read the first answered ask, the “golden age” of Greek TV is 1990 - 2010)

I don’t know if you are the Anon who had asked the 2010 onward shows because they didn’t mind the subtitles. If you definitely need subtitles, I am afraid there are only two shows you can watch right now:

Είσαι το Ταίρι Μου (You’re My Soulmate)

Romantic comedy / light drama (2001 - 2002). Vicky and Stella are two very different friends who are Greek immigrants in Australia. Vicky is stunning and men go crazy for her but she has many insecurities. Stella is not conventionally attractive but she allows nothing to bring her down. They both fall for the same handsome rich Greek, Nikos. It’s no brainer who wins - Nikos is a womanizer and falls immediately for Vicky. The interesting part is what happens next - when Vicky’s insecurities make her come up with a crazy plan / prank that will unleash hell over these three, Nikos’ entire family and a couple of friends living in Athens and change their lives forever...and everyone will then get what they deserve... or what they are brave enough to claim. Overall just a hilarious and clever comedy, with great acting and memorable characters you end up loving and an ending that isn’t a cliche. Here’s the link to watch with english subtitles.

Στο Παρά Πέντε (In the Nick of Time)

Mystery / Crime Comedy / Light drama (2005 - 2007) One of the two most famous Greek comedies. Five totally different people happen to be witnesses to the murder of a politician. Before he dies, the politician asks them to find who did it and take revenge for this and other crimes they have committed.  These five unassuming people become friends and start solving the mystery together like hilariously amateur detectives. In time, they will find out that there’s something more that unites them besides their friendship...and maybe not everything happens accidentally. Here’s the link to watch with english subtitles. This one is being subtitled right now.

So bad news: only two shows with English subtitles. Good news: They are the best of the best, so no problem.

But if subtitles are not necessary, let’s proceed with the rest I love in no particular order:

10 Λεπτά Κήρυγμα (10 Minutes of Scolding)

Comedy (2000 - 2003). The life of Leonidas Alivizatos, an untamed only child with divorced parents. The story is basically the endless ways Leonidas find to escape the limitations his parents put to him and the shenanigans he does with his best friend Telis and his girlfriend Marilena that drive his family crazy. Fun fact: My generation, we all had at some point a crush on Leonidas...right?

Singles

Romantic Dramedy (2004 - 2008). The show has four seasons although it’s the first one that mostly had a lasting impression on me. The story revolves around the social, professional and romantic lives of six young single people: Maro, a sensitive hopeless romantic, Rania, an angry cynic who hates relationships, Lila, a sex crazed cheerful woman, Orestes, an average I’d say young man who has his eyes on Maro though, Arthuros, Orestes’ best friend and a socially awkward man with a dark family past and  Loukas, a divorced father who seems to be quite the catch. There’s something special about the first season, it had an atmosphere, a style that I loved. The music was great too. I still remember the episode with the Reaper nightmares and that green light. In the following seasons, half of the cast changed.  Y’all Greeks here do you remember the title song? I love it.

Δεληγιάννειο Παρθεναγωγείο (Deligiannis School for Girls)

Comedy, Drama (2007 - 2008). Summer 1939. The events of the series evolve at the last period of the Greek Regime, the Greco-Italian War and the Nazi Invasion of Greece. Mimis Metaxas in the headmaster of the School and trapped in a miserable marriage. His father-in-law invites Agape, his niece, to teach at the school. Mimis falls desperately in love with Agape but of course he keeps it a secret. Agape is a free-spirited woman and it is soon clear that she is a Communist (or at least leaning toward left ideals) and Mimis tries to balance his job as the Headmaster of the school, his sad marriage, his love and the historical events happening in the country with his need to keep Agape protected at all costs and under full secrecy.

Κωνσταντίνου και Ελένης (Constantine and Helen’s)

Comedy (1998 - 2000). Okay, this is officially the best Greek comedy to date. After it ended in 2000, it has been on TV repeatedly and continuously to this day. For twenty years non-stop. It still  has bigger viewership than new current shows. An old aristocratic childless man writes two wills right before his death in which he gives his big residence. The one will is for Constantine, his aloof and conservative nephew who is a professor of Byzantine History in the University. The other will is for Helen, the only daughter of his beloved poor gardener who is a potty mouthed waitress. Constantine and Helen arrive at the house the same day and they are both determined to inherit the house and they can’t wait until the court date. The story revolves around everything they do to get rid of each other and their friends who are just as crazy as they are. There’s an interesting story about this show: they had done some tests and pilots and they were convinced that nobody was going to watch their show so the show became low budget and the actors were free to go batshit crazy. This ended up creating this hilarious masterpiece that is being rewatched by million Greeks to this day.

Οι Μεν και οι Δε (Them and the others)

Comedy (1993 - 1996). Dionysis Dagas, a famous lawyer who defends criminals lives with his wife Vana, an aristocratic lazy woman, in their apartment in Kolonaki. In the apartment right next to them Timos and Nana Stamatis come to live, unemployed and a jewelry artist respectively. Timos and Nana attempt numerous times to take money from frugal Dionysis and in general a big war starts between them as snobby Dagas are the exact opposite of the hippy Stamatis.

Σαββατογεννημένες (Born on Saturday)

Comedy (2003 - 2004). A sexist and all around horrible man named Savvas wins 7 million Euros at the lottery and as he learns it he has a car crash and loses his memory. His three ex-wives, the Greek language teacher Keti, the actress Bia and the tourist shop owner Soula, all very different and hating the guts of each other and Savvas, team up to find the lottery ticket before Savvas' memory recovers. But in order to achieve that, they have to act a lot and they have to take care of incapacitated Savvas themselves.

Το Καφέ της Χαράς (Chara's cafe)

Romantic comedy (2003 - 2006 and 2019 - now). Chara Chaska, an Athenian unmarried mother decides to start anew and takes her daughter with her to go live somewhere close to nature. They go to a village in Mountainous Arcadia, named Kolokotronitsi. What Chara doesn't know is that the village is extremely traditional and backwards and governed by the conservative and misogynist mayor Periandros Popotas. Popotas and the villagers will start a big war against the newcomer, especially when they find out she wants to open a modern lounge cafe and is not married. Chara has only few supporters there but soon she will also have the interest of her biggest enemy. The show has been revived since last year, as the continuation of what happens many years later but I haven't been watching.

Dolce Vita

Romantic comedy (1995 - 1997). Christina Markatou is the mature rich widow of a tomato factory owner and now she runs it on her own. Christina visits her daughter Dorita in Italy where she studies and upon her return to Greece she unexpectedly has a one night stand with young Antonis Kaloudis. What they both don't know is that Antonis is Dorita's fiance and travels to Greece to meet her family. After the initial shock, Antonis realises he prefers the mother but Christina tries to resist. The love though is too strong. Christina begins seeing Antonis, full of regrets and self-loathing, and tries to hide the affair from her daughter, the nosy housemaid Aspasia and the absolute terror that her mother-in-law is, Olga Markatou. Is there any chance for happiness?

Εγκλήματα (Crimes)

Black comedy (1998 - 2000). Alekos and Flora have always been in love but never got together and got married to evil Soso and kindly Achilles respectively instead. Alekos finds Flora and they start an affair. Soso finds out about the affair quickly and tries repeatedly to kill Alekos. All the crazy things that happen start from all of Soso's murderous attempts and affect the lives of the aforementioned as well as their close relatives who are as crazy as the main characters. Will Soso achieve her biggest ambition to become utterly evil and kill Alekos and whomever else stands in her way?

Σ' αγαπώ, μ' αγαπάς (I love you, you love me)

Domestic comedy (2000 - 2002). The hilariously realistic life of a couple, Dimitra and Thodoris (the actors play with their real names). The actors had such great chemistry that they were chosen as the voice actors for Greek Marlin and Dory in Finding Nemo (also with great success).

So, these are my favourites but there are many others I like or that are very popular but not my cup of tea. Any other Greek is welcome to recommend their own faves.

Physical Affection with - Jungle Boy

added author’s note, pre-posting: fuckin’ love how the queue doesn’t apparently work...anyways, i thought it was gonna be up a few days ago, so sorry and also fuck off, tumblr.

I really enjoyed the last one (and also @sansammy requested it), so here’s physical affection HCs with Jungle Boy!

He’s gonna be hesitant about PDA (something I mentioned in my friends-to-lovers with JB, which you can find here)

He’s young and a little shy; he doesn’t really understand where the line between cute and cringey falls for those around you, so he errs on the side of caution

He’ll definitely be more open in front of close friends that he knows won’t mind (think among the lines of Stella, Marko and Luchasaurus, etc.), although he’ll still be kind of reserved

When you’re alone, though?

He’s all in on the physical affection train

Holding Hands

By and far, his favorite thing to do

It’s small, casual, and something that he can easily take comfort in

He loves to hold your hand when he’s nervous, especially in public; it’s something that isn’t too attention-grabbing, but it’s still personal

Before his matches, he’ll sit you on one of the equipment cases and stand in front of you, holding both your hands in his as you hype him up

If you wear rings or bracelets, he’s gonna fidget with them during those moments as a way of bringing himself back to you

When you go to the ring with him, he’ll reach down and squeeze your hand from on top of Luchasaurus’s shoulders (although he probably won’t hold your hand for more than a few seconds on camera)

If he needs your attention, then he’ll walk past you and give your hand a quick squeeze; it’s easier than texting and he knows you won’t miss it

He also holds your hand when you’re nervous! 

He works with a lot of Loud and Intimidating people, so he understands that it’s easy for you to get overwhelmed by all the noise, large bodies, and even just the general backstage rush

If he sees you struggling to keep up with a situation, he’ll take your hand and squeeze it to check on you

If you squeeze back, he’ll take you out of the area with some sort of “Marko got stuck on top of a locker” type of excuse that makes no sense, but he’s trying so hard for you

Totally the type to whisper in your ear about well your hand fits into his (yes, he knows it cheesy. he doesn’t care.) 

Bonus: He jokingly kisses your hand when you’re alone, especially if you’re about to go on a date or something. He’ll also call you his princess when he does.

Hugging

He loves to hold you while you work

He hugs you from behind, watching how you do even the most simple things like washing produce or typing a paper as if it’s the most enamoring thing in the world to him

If he sees that someone’s making you uncomfortable, he’s absolutely going to insert himself into the situation

And he’ll absolutely do that by putting his arms around your waist and setting his head on your shoulder, glaring at the person until they get the hint and leave

It’s the most publically forward he’ll be about dating you, and he’ll only do it if he knows that you’re uncomfortable

He knows the difference between you having fun with a friend and someone hitting on you, but even if he gets a little jealous, he won’t intervene unless he sees that you can’t get them to buzz off by yourself

(what i’m saying is that he trusts you, but he’s still aware that people might not listen to you unless he gets involved on your behalf)

If you’re hanging out with close friends, yours or his, he’ll sit next to you and throw an arm over your shoulder

If someone calls him out on it, then he’ll do the same thing to the person on his other side and ask if it’s a problem now (although he’ll hold you a little tighter as he does)

He’s a cheeky little shit and he will tickle you when he hugs you

Especially if you’re alone

Bonus: He loves when you hug his teammates! They’re a very affectionate trio in that sense, so he’s definitely going to think it’s cute to see how comfortable you are with them.

Kissing

He loves to kiss you

He’ll look for excuses to kiss you

Win a big match? He’ll kiss you

Did you do something super cool? He’ll kiss you

MJF got his ass beat? He’ll kiss you (he doesn’t like MJF, okay?)

I lowkey see him a fan of neck kisses, especially when he’s watching you do something

He’ll bury his face in the crook of your neck, peppering your skin with little kisses and telling you how pretty you are

He’ll kiss your nose when he thinks you’re acting cute; if you’re acting grumpy after he wins in a video game, getting excited over a new dessert you want to try, or even when you’ve just woken up and given him a giant smile, he’ll peck the tip of your nose and smile at you

Alternatively, if you’re in public and you do something cute, he might pull your hand up and kiss your knuckles since it’s not as apparent

Except for that, he will very, very rarely kiss you in front of other people; mainly if you’re going to be apart for a little while or you’re seeing each other for the first time in a few days or longer

And maybe when something Very Big happens and he can’t stop himself

Bonus: He once kissed your cheek after winning a tag team contendership match while Stella was recording for her Instagram story, and nobody noticed until the internet lost their shit about it.

He got super embarrassed about it, but he also secretly asked her to send the video since he thought it was so cute to see how you smiled and covered your face, mildly in shock from his unusual behavior.

Cuddling

He’s always gonna want to be cuddling you when you’re alone

He loves playing video games with you, laying down on the couch and holding his controller in front of you

He’ll hold you, chest-to-chest, and rub circles with his fingers on your body when he’s a little stressed

Speaking of stress, he could listen to you vent forever

He’ll let you sit in his lap and play with his hair, his fingertips drawing circles on your leg or stomach as you tell him about what’s bothering you

He’ll try his best to give advice (he’ll often end up recommending that you ask Luchasaurus or one of the older members of the roster if he can’t help you, although he tries not to unless necessary) 

If you get self-conscious, then he’s gonna literally kiss every inch of your body as he tells you everything that he loves about you

He has absolutely done this while drunk (regardless of whether or not you needed to hear it in that moment, per se) and he ended up crying in your arms while telling you about how much he loved you

He loves waking up next to you, almost more than falling asleep with you

He adores how you curl up against him when you fall asleep, the way that you nuzzle into his chest

Absolutely lost his shit the first time you woke up next to him, giving him a quiet “good morning” in your sleepy voice

Bonus: The first time that you stayed with him, he had to wake you up from a nightmare. He was so scared, although he didn’t want you to see that; he pulled up a movie on his laptop and held you until you fell back asleep, and then nearly stayed up until dawn in case you needed him again.

Miscellaneous Things

Totally wants to do that cliché thing where you sit in his lap and he puts his hands over yours on a keyboard or controller, teaching you to play a video game he likes

He likes to go on swimming or on hikes with you, if you’re into that kind of thing; he sees it as a great way to show you some of his favorite places and also get a bit of alone time with you

He will carry you through the woods on his shoulders if you let him and that is not a question

Also, loves carrying you! He doesn’t like the idea of you getting tired, so he’ll just pack you up on his back and carry you around (especially if you’ve been standing for a long time and he’s worried about it)

I feel like he’d also lowkey fall in love with you all over again if you fell asleep against his shoulder while you’re hanging out

He’s always a little worried about you, and he’s very attentive to what you need, so expect to find random snacks, water bottles, or phone chargers lying about exactly when you need them

I feel like he’d probably start keeping a first-aid kit with different over-the-counter medicines in his car or bag in case you get hurt or sick when you’re with him

If you use feminine care items, he always keeps some on him in case of emergencies (and he’ll defend it to the death if someone tries to make fun of him for doing it)

He’ll also absolutely memorize any allergies you have and he’ll be super vigilant about that shit (like, to the point where he’ll text you about dust/pollen for the day if it’s going to be particularly bad)

Basically, he’s not going to be super publically affectionate, but he loves that shit in private

He will, however, show his affection much more in terms of caring for you and making sure you have everything you need; he’s such a sweet and thoughtful person, and he doesn’t want you to ever worry about anything when you’re with him

1. she did an interview for liv’s documentary

we only know this from ryan price himself who, when getting papaprazied, was asked about who he talked to for the documentary. he named a few people and stella was in the list. it’ll be interesting to say the least to hear what she has to say since she seemed to have some...strong opinions.

2. she dropped out of college

we only really know this from twitter where she complained about it. it seemed like she was majoring in business management. its unclear why she dropped out, but she did after only a few months of university.

3. she works as an event planner

this one isn’t hard to figure out. she worked on the recent vanderbilt hotel event.

4. she has a sex tape with cian callaghan 

we all know this one. the only thing she has said about it is “you’re welcome” on twitter.

5. she doesn’t like maxwell harper

i mean...it could be some elaborate joke, but we doubt it at this point. between tweets about why zelda was in the car and “fuck maxwell harper” - it seems like he’s done something to her to make her dislike him, but no amount of fans tweeting at her has made her explain. during her venting about austin harper joking about buying belinda a boob job - she tweeted that she didn’t like him because “he seems like a max”.

7. she’s a big ryder (and ryan?) fan

stella has always seemed like a big ryder fan. ryan it seems like she flip flops on sometimes, but she often posts tweets related to them:

you can't say shit to a man whose arm is as big as your head. ryder isn't exercising so he looks attractive. he's working out to ensure that he can say whatever the fuck he wants forever.

8. she’s moody about famous people.

she tweeted this after fighting with kelsey ambrose:  famous ppl tweet me the same like...3 insults..................and 2 of them are about me not being famous., and it definitely wasn’t the first time she’s tweeted about ‘stupid famous people’ including the previous tweet about the “only” tolerable famous people.

another example is tweeting about austin harper. she started out trashing him but later on commended him for snapping off about alexis and greyson tweeting;

half of these male musicians just listen to whatever the fuck their managers say and i'm sure austin wasn't supposed to say that but he did anyway. and you wanna know why? HE HAS BALLS and defended his woman over listening to the people HES paying. 

i'd also have hit him austin go off boo. u fight human shrek [greyson] for not making it an ongoing series

but later on went on to being suspicious about him:

9. she at least somewhat can stand callan (or used to).

she’s been pretty quiet on the callan front for a while now, but it seems like callan is the only one she might still like. this comes from the video of sixteen or seventeen year old stella saying that people liked lc because roman/callan were “arm candy” to 14 year olds. but she’s since then tweeted negatively about roman. so its hard to tell if roman still stands - but she’s never had much to say about callan.

10. she doesn’t like her siblings fame.

this is something that has been known from lc fans finding the accounts of stella’s old high school classmates who claimed that stella would get annoyed when anyone brought up her siblings or asked questions.
