Alright, I know I've been.... quiet as of late...

You may know I've recently taken on the challenge of diving into writing, and I have previously announced there is in fact, a canon rewrite fic I've been working on coming! "Draco Malfoy & the Journal of Dreadful Things"

That's riiiight~🎶 on the 1st of November the first chapter will be dropping🥳✨️

Blaise.

There was alot of confusion regarding the gender of Blaise Zabini. Many people thought he was a girl.

And he was.

But then, looking in the mirror one night, that little girl realised that; no. That's not me.

"That's not me," she'd tell Pansy as they got ready for bed.

"Then who are you?" Pansy would ask her in return.

She didn't know the answer.

"That's not me," she'd confide to Draco as they played chess together.

"Well you'd best find yourself," Draco would reply before taking her queen.

"That's not me," she'd confess to her mother in tears one night.

Her mother would caress her cheek and search deeply in her eyes.

"Then we will have to find out who is."

"This is me," he'd tell himself as the cloudy dreamlike feeling of anesthetic took over him.

"This is me," he'd smile to himself, despite the soreness of his scars.

"This is me," he'd say on the first day of sixth year. He'd say it to Pansy. To Draco. To Greg, and Vincent, Theodore and Millie. To anyone who cared.

"Who's that boy?" People would whisper as they walked down the corridor. "Is that Blaise Zabini?"

"This is me," Blaise would tell himself each night in the mirror. "This is me."

Chapter Three: The Midnight Madness

Draco Malfoy & the Journal of Dreadful Things, Chapter Two: Cunning and Ambition is now up!✨️

"No, no. You're doing this horribly wrong," came the waspish tone of a certain pointy wizard.

Harry huffed fondly as Draco nudged him aside with a sharp elbow.

"The recipe very clearly says to add the sugar in measured amounts. Not all at once like some sort of..." Draco paused and flapped his hand wildly at Harry. "Hooligan!"

Harry shrugged. "I don't see how it makes much of a difference," he said, leaning against the kitchen counter and popping a strawberry in his mouth.

"Don't see how it...? Potter!" Draco snapped, "This is why you were utterly miserable at Potions!" He jabbed a finger at Molly's cookbook and spoke as if he were talking to a small child, "One should always follow the recipe."

Harry, deciding to behave like the child he was being treated as, stuck his fingers in the sugary, fruity sludge, and promptly flicked it at his partner.

"Oh, you did not just do that," Draco growled lowly, to which Harry poked out his tongue.

Draco's icy grey eyes narrowed to slits, and the next thing Harry knew, an entire punnet of strawberries had been emptied over his head.

"You absolute prick!" Harry laughed, lunging forward and grabbing the blond by his wrists. Wrestling with him as he began to laugh too.

Laughing so much that eventually they had to put an end to their half-hearted battle and press their foreheads together, bumping noses.

"Well...now we're a horrible mess and we have to start this ruddy jam from scratch," Draco lamented, despite the lingering mirth in his eyes.

Harry only laughed some more, and laced their sticky fingers together.

So, @drarrymicrofic that was my first ever drarry fic/microfic. And it was about jam😂

Word count: 274(I promise I will get better at condensing😭)
