Sorry, this isn't a post aimed at casual sim players but - Does anyone know what's going on with Lindasims? I saw a post from her earlier being generally shitty about free content (For those out of the know, she's a Russian pay creator who is anti-free content). The reason I ask is because after that post I've seen a few of the shitty teenage simblrs start rage posting.

Did something happen? I try to keep an eye on the Russian pay creators as they have a nasty tendency of doing asset flips for quick cash and trying to rough up other simmers but I haven't seen her do much lately. Is it just general cuntiness or was there actually an event?

THE LINDASIMS2 RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION: PART SIX

Today, it's finally here, and with proper grammar and punctuation (hopefully!), as my 200th post. The proof that only @lindasims2 could've destroyed her own content.

As a bloody April Fool's joke.

And we've all been blind to it for years and years and years.

With the help of @fireflowersims, @bstu, my buddies Yolkema and Zeta_Reticuli on the Simscord, @honeymoonseason, and many other lovely folks who are also tired of Linda and her followers' BS, we finally got proof that only LINDA, ONLY LINDA, could've destroyed those files we got.

Keep reading, it's a long one, but I promise it's worth it.

THE REASON FOR THE POLYCOUNT

Firstly, I returned to my roots: the March 2021 set. I wanted to see what else I’d missed. Now, when I loaded up a specific pair of leggings Linda made, I finally understood why the polycount is so high.

If you zoom in closely, you can clearly see that each subset is duplicated multiple times. At first I thought that was normal, until I realised that it's all identical. And uh, that's not normal!

Now, what did Linda herself say? That she has experience in… clothing?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure you'd be able to do this, Linda. With your eyes closed.

THE JPG IMAGES

For awhile I wondered why this particular image was thrown in so randomly into not just this file, but almost every file in the March 2021 dump. But thanks to Linda’s providing that lovely VK link on her callout post against NoMoreSims2Patreon, I finally know the only person in this that had any ‘sentimentality’ regarding Mr Junior over here. (Yes, it’s not actually McQueen, which makes it all the more specific! I love it!)

This was posted just 1 day after that lovely March 2021 dump finally released, on 1st April. No coincidence, I bet, that this Junior is being sent by the lovely lindasims2 herself! Photo provided by @honeymoonseason and also shared to me by multiple others :]

THE DATES

So, after this pretty incriminating discovery, I decided to backtrack and take a look at what Linda claimed in her callout post to NoMoreSims2Patreon:

These files were apparently last edited on March 28, many days after Linda made a post announcing them. Which points to the leaker being the one to edit them, right?

Well…Linda, did you forget how you operate or something?

Linda uploaded these files on April 1st 2021, having ‘forgotten’ to upload them on March 31st. Credits go to @caramelsmiles12 and @honeymoonseason for the pics <3 Yeah, Linda, thanks for admitting your own guilt?

It’s impossible for any leaker to be able to edit files before they’re even released. To my understanding, Linda purposefully added those corrupt characters and NSFW defaults to her CC, as a sick April Fool’s prank on the people who download her leaked CC.

All of the files you see above, have had the hidden sim, PT 19 (also renamed some very bad slurs by Linda) slipped in. (Though #332 has been accidentally saved by me, lol). The top-only teen-elder male folder also contains the weird gigantoborkodoggo default. And they were all last edited a day before Linda even released the files to her subscribers.

THE EXPERIMENTS

@fireflowersims was kind enough to do some experiments with the corrupted files, to see what else we could find, as well as to dig deeper in them. I won’t state all of them here, but here are a few that stood out to me:

THE LOGIC

I can already hear Linda’s hardcore defendersand subscribers in my askbox (like @alicestrife and @sims2x10 <3) claiming that the pics have been edited, that somehow I have changed the story, etc. I have done nothing except look at the facts I have dug up or been shown. If you want proof, look at this post, it contains some stuff that may interest you and was found over a year ago. As well as the original files :]

I can already see that not being enough for some of you, so here’s the logic even if you don’t take the incriminating Junior (yeah, the fake Lightning McQueen) JPG, or the fact that the files were edited pre-release, into account.

Let’s look at the pros and cons to corrupting these files, for both Linda and her leakers.

PROS FOR LINDA: Gets to ‘expose’ the leaker that has been a thorn in her side all this time. Gets to prank the clueless people who download from her for April Fool’s. Gets more subscribers since people are desperate for ‘good’ content from her.

CONS FOR LINDA: Some people may accuse her, but of course, she always points them to her leakers. Because who else gets direct content from her? Only her hardcore patrons, who won’t turn against her.

PROS FOR LEAKERS: Uhh… maybe gets a kick out of seeing people get mad at Linda?

CONS FOR LEAKERS: People no longer trust them. They won’t download their content, which is how pirates survive in this community. Attitudes towards pirates have always been terrible in this community, especially from the paywallers themselves. Also, people will probably accuse them since they are the people who reupload CC.

Who do you think would have corrupted these files, even without the evidence shown above?

SUMMARY

Stolen meshes, illegally paywalled content, etc. was never enough for Lindasims2, clearly. No, she had one thorn in her side that she wanted to get rid of: NoMoreSims2Patreon, who continually shared her files FOR FREE to the public and meant she made much, much less money.

So, for one final April Fool’s joke of leaked content, she slipped in a very large, very corrupted surprise for anyone who downloaded from her leaker–and sat back and waited. A year later, @dystopianam stumbled across that hidden surprise and on spiraled this saga of discoveries by myself and many others.

However, Linda made a couple of mistakes. She assumed people would look at her response post and think, oh, surely it’s the leaker! Linda’s dates match up!

But thanks to Dale Earnhardt Jr. himself, a bunch of Simscorders and many others decided to research further. And found her lie. Thanks for having such love for a minor Cars 1 character, Linda!

I urge everyone to do their best to report Linda’s Tumblr account, Boosty, Patreon, etc. What she has done ON PURPOSE to destroy people’s games and frame others is NO JOKE. I am not sure if we can take legal action against this sort of ‘malware’ that she produced many years ago, but I know one thing.

A minimum of 2278 simmers have downloaded the reuploaded archive containing Linda’s special April Fool’s 2021 joke. 2278, not counting anyone who might’ve been shared these files through other links, downloaded them from friends, etc. 

CHECK YOUR GAMES, guys! And for the love of all things holy, STOP SUPPORTING SIMS PAYWALLERS! ESPECIALLY THIEVES LIKE LINDA!

2) you're incorrectly using the word "malicious files" and I would be careful how you use that now days with Windows 11. Windows 11 has an issue where if you have a virus that manages to encrypt certain things it can make your computer not boot up because of UEFI and TPM which is why I refuse to upgrade to Windows 11. Please be aware of this first of all, simmers.. do your research if you can on this.. stay away from Windows 11.

3) since your bitch ass wants to come out and say I'm providing "malicious" files, how about you tell them about how you gave your subscribers (not only me!!!!) these files via a code that was changed every week.

I bought those codes for all of your content. I waited a few days after sorting through and shared it on the blog I created "anonymously" at that time, nomoresims2patreon. I was the only person that had the guts to spend their money on your shitty content and share it to the public. I say shitty because it's extremely high poly, borked to the max, breaking games, etc. Your shit isn't worthy of a penny I found in a garbage can. Point is, I posted all of that before any leaking happen so don't go saying I went and messed with the code.

4) Everyone is showing the proof that there's a PT head. I don't know anything about SimPE coding. I only know how to do teen conversions and that is as far as my knowledge goes with SimPE. I use base game meshes to start from scratch. Not someone else's work like you do with Bruno's accessories.

Lastly, I want to sincerely apologize for this. If I never bought those files, no ones game would be broken from these items. I am so sorry and I hope you can forgive me for that. My own game is probably broken to the max for having 2 PT mods unknowingly and switching out my maxis match folder and alpha folders on a constant. The nails sit in my alpha folder which I only use when I take pictures...

Dude, the "who would you rather believe" argument is childish and useless. The fact that she breaks the tou, or how she edits the mesh, has nothing to do with the theory that she could break the files herself

I would rather believe that a person was ready to spend their money to stir up a scandal and watch all the hate towards a "bad paid creator" than that Linda magically found out which files should be corrupted and when

She has given you dates that you can easily check for yourself. But you're using the "who would you rather believe" argument. You are a bad researcher with such conclusions. Supermarket Refrigerator Functional for The Sims 2

This is a full and functional refrigerator. Original meshes (fridge and items) are from Lindasim, but I manage to reduce the polycount, so it's a new mesh. It will show only in community lots. I made some recolors too for the refrigerator itself.

Someone asked me if it's safe. Don't worry, it's safe because is a new cc, without any strange file inside it, you can control yourself in simpe. Plus, it seems that only March 2021 items are "infected" and this is not from that pack of items.

One day when I finally get my cc sorted out (what a joke) I will create a save (in TS2) JUST to do a Bachelor/Bachelorette challenge and I will ask people to send me participants (if anyone wants to participate) the only rules (if I do it one day) are that:

The sims must not have cc (honestly I don't feel like installing cc which I will then have to tidy up and which maybe I don't even like). The sims must be sent without ccs, at most you send me a preview of what they look like with the cc and I will use the most similar ones I have to replace them.

A list must be sent together with the sim (in .txt format or you can write it in a private message or under a Tumblr post) with the sim's personality points, aspirations, zodiac sign, interests and hobby (unfortunately bodyshop does not export them). This is important, otherwise the Sim will not behave as you created it. (Also, the LTW and a backstory)

The sim must be exported CLEANLY. I don't want poorly exported sims that could damage my game. If you have corrupted ccs (for example lindasims ccs) or the SDHB I don't want to take any risks (honestly I don't know if the SDHB also attaches to the sims, can anyone tell me if yes or not?)

Lol Linda didn't JUST namedrop DeeDee and shit on her content. She downloaded ALL OF DEEDEE'S CONTENT on tumblr looking for stuff that had too big of textures and only found ONE ITEM. She decided to put Deedee on blast for that one issue.

She's going through free creator's stuff in order to find anything she can point out as flawed and say "THESE FREE CREATORS ARE THE REASON WHY YOU HAVE PINK FLASHING!! ONLY ME AND MY PERMA-PAYWALL FRIENDS KNOW HOW TO MAKE CONTENT!! SO BUY FROM US!!"

I guess they're not making enough money rn so they have to whine and bitch about people who provide their stuff for free.

Mean-fucking-while, Linda and her friends are taking meshes from GorillaGorillaGorilla, Bank42, Rimmings, Backtrack CC and MAMY other sims 4 CC creators, converting them to sims 2 and making a profit off of OTHER PEOPLE'S MESHES AND TEXTURES.

They're like "wahhh making good conversions is hard!! I deserve to be payed for the work I do!"

But you know what's even harder? Making models from scratch! If you and your paywall buddies want to understand why people are pissed off at you, Linda, TRY MAKING MESHES FROM SCRATCH YOURSELF. It's not fucking easy. You are making money off of other people's models+textures, including bodyshapes, clothes, furniture and more. This is someone else's hard work you're making a profit off of.

Also. The "pink flashing" is just a fucking excuse. She's like "I have mine and my friends' content in my game and I never experience pink flashing!"

Yeah? Well i guess what? I have content from deedee, fakeblood, R13 and other creators she decides to shit on and I don't experience pink-flashing either! I don't even experience crashing. This is because pink-flashing has nothing to do with high-poly meshes or big textures! I know people who play with no cc at all and get pink-flashing. We still don't know the cause of it.

I bet if Linda got a different laptop, she'd be experiencing pink-flashing left-and-right, because I do have some of her shit from and GOD ARE THEY HIGH POLY AS FUCK.

On another note.. Sorry about the rant; I had to get it out of my system because I don't have a public tumblr blog, but I've been using tumblr to find cc for years, and I've been following this Linda drama since like 2020. It still makes me fucking lividd.

This number might be inaccurate (I may have missed a few) but it's the absolute MINIMUM number of sims that is in there.

For some context? That number is larger than any premade hood's actual Default household (which is where these sims will appear). And Linda was kind enough to give them new GUIDs so they won't conflict with each other, only COMPLETELY FILL UP your hoods!
