Okay, no, I'm gonna rant a bit more about this.
It really pisses me off that the myth of Sisyphus was reduced to a mere side gag in LO. Because if there ever was an organic way for this comic to actually show that Persephone can be both the compassionate mortal-loving goddess and the fearsome Queen of the Underworld you shouldn't mess with, it's the goddamn myth of Sisyphus!
In the original myth, it was actually Persephone who let Sisyphus go back to the mortal realm after he pulled his whole "Uwu, my awful wife didn't give me a proper burial, pwease let me go back and sort out my affairs" - spiel. And this was after Sisyphus had chained Thanatos up to avoid getting dragged to the Underworld and caused significant trouble for everybody in the process.
So Persephone's kindness would actually be shown instead of just being a Word of God thing that is continually disproven by the actual story.
And after Sisyphus of course takes advantage of that kindness and returns to his body instead of coming back to the Underworld, that would be the time to show that Persephone isn't the meek village girl who would have taken that kind of disrespect lying down anymore.
She has Hermes re-capture Sisyphus and then she is the one to give him his iconic punishment of pushing a boulder up a hill that will always get away from him at the last possible second and roll back down, to show him the futility of trying to cheat/escape death.
Heck, if you want to make the whole thing even more personal to Persephone, in some versions of the myth it was Hades who got chained up by Sisyphus.
You could show Persephone finally being forced to step up as leader of the Underworld, now that her husband is MIA. Show her connect to her people, reassuring them and working to get them through these uncertain times.
You could even let her have a #Girlboss moment by teaming up with some of the other gods to make Sisyphus' life hell until he releases Hades.
All this potential for an engaging story arc, squandered. Because RS can't write for shit.

I laughed so hard at this panel!

Like a mix of “hasn’t been flirted with/hasn’t had sex in over two-thousand years” and “holy shit is she actually falling for this?” with a dash of “Fuck! What do I do next?”
Love it

Lore Olympus Episode 246 Spoilers
Holy shit, I hate this episode.
The first half is just RS making Demeter grovel before her daughter's groomer, who then proceeds to victim blame her.
"It's not my place to speak on [Persephone's] behalf."
-Continues to speak on her behalf and make assumptions about how she might feel about her mother.-
The way Demeter's and Hades' conversation is just Hades going "Yeah, if you had just let your daughter marry me, the guy who groomed her and is infamous for taking advantage of young, vulnerable women through my wealth, then you wouldn't be in this position now."
Goood, I want Demeter to bring a devastating winter so bad. She deserves to go off on these assholes without being villainized for it.
Oh hey, RS remembered Artemis exists. And of course she still doesn't know about Apollo, even though it's basically common knowledge in Persephone's friend-circle now. Tell me you don't give a shit about a character without telling me you don't give a shit about a character.
I don't know what's worse:
Persephone being completely unapologetic about harassing and scaring the shit out of Leuce, who she knows can't retaliate, or Hades going "Oh yeah, my wife abusing her powers to bully a peasant woman is so hot, let's have sex right now."
Like, you have to be a special kind of oblivious to write a scene like this and not realize how horrifying the implications here are.
Persephone's annoyed look when Hades tells her Demeter's message that she loves Persephone and misses her. Fuck right off you spoiled, pink bimbo, you do not get to make that face after everything you put your mom through.
Poor Chiron, she probably had a real busy day and then this entitled Karen just comes crashing into her DMs demanding a therapy session with her mom right then and there.
Persephone, did you ask Demeter for permission before you wrote her up for this? Prolly not, this session is a blatant excuse for even more Demeter-bashing. Hades had his turn, now Persephone gets to have a go.
I hate it here.

YOU GUYS
Hades is the only one who can command Tartarus because he has eaten the pomegranate from that tree and is the recognized king. Persephone knows there is a second pomegranate. Hades is in a coma (not sure I totally believe that’s really him at the end of the episode and not Kronos in his body).
What if Persephone goes to eat the second pomegranate so she can help stop Kronos from escaping? Even if that IS the real Hades at the end, he clearly needs help.
