I hate how Kronos is always so smiley,like,imagine if he wasn’t even looking at hades,showing how much he disregards him and was instead looking at Persephone.

This is more of a general pet peeve but i feel like the “smiling when doing evil things” doesn’t work unless you’re villain is very obviously having fun while doing everything,but for that you need an unapologetic evil villain like Eris.

But nooo,that would take RS going all in on Kronos being an unapologetic bastard.

Imagine if Kronos actually used his trauma as an excuse to perpetuate the cycle instead of ending it,being called out but rebutting it with his trauma as a shield for all criticism.a villain who held no regard for the children he took care of while acting like he’s justified because he had daddy issues.a cold villain who instead of getting better because of how ouranos treated him only used it as an excuse to continue the cycle of abuse.

I don't like the Kronos arc in LO

I get that Perse is supposed to be a super powerful op fertility goddess and she ate the super powerful magic underworld fruit so she easily defeated an overlord that took six gods + presumably a group of allied titans + if we're going by mythology hundred handed giants, to defeat him before.

But that's a rant others have already gone on.

What makes me upset is the wasted potential, the arc was rushed and poorly written.

It would've been so much cooler if there was an actual struggle, if Kronos had actually gotten some hits in. If we genuinely thought that maybe, just maybe, Perse might lose. She could've gone into her titan form, fought him a little and lost, eat the pomegranate, and continue fighting.

It would've been more fun if Ares, Zeus, and Athena had been involved in the fight. Ares and Athena being war gods and Zeus being the God of lightning. There could've been some comedic and emotional lines shared between the father and his kids. Maybe with Kronos distracted Hades, Hermes, and Hecate could wake up and join the fight as we've never seen Hecate use her powers as the goddess of witchcraft, and Hermes just makes every scene better.

The citizens of the underworld could've woken up and joined the fight, there could've been references to minor underworld deities we wouldn't have seen otherwise.

It would've been so much cooler if Kronos scarred Perse instead of it just being her winning. If she had been cursed like the other traitors, the fight would've been more interesting AND she could finally relate to Hades. Hades and Hera bonded over their scarring by Kronos, have Persephone have to deal with the sacrifice she made by eating the pomegranate and choosing to fight Kronos.

I just, I didn't like the Kronos arch at all because LO was fine just being an office romance. I didn't like the Trial arch but it doesn't make sense that we went from one big deal to another big deal and didn't really spend time on the first big deal. But if you were going to make a Kronos fight scene, maybe put some effort into it.

(I also don't like that Kronos is just a 1 dimensional villain when it would've been interesting to see how he became that way, since Ouranos was known to be tyrannical but thats a rant for another day)

Episode 205: Live Recap/Theories

*Spoilers Ahead*

- Not me over here feeling bad for Zeus! While what he did didn’t do much to stop Kronos (he’s powerful at this point so I’m not shocked) I can’t exactly kick him while he’s down? (What exactly happened to his body?)

- Kronos’ line about making Persephone relive her worst nightmares honestly gave me chills. And confirms that he’s either absorbed or sapped the power of the Oneiroi/Morpheus’ father Hypnos.

- But I’m happy to see how determined and brave she is, no threats are greater than her goal. Though I kinda wish we could have seen her go full on goddess of spring kaiju Persephone but we’ll get to that.

- Of course our beloved war twins burst onto the scene and straight into the thick of it. But even though they’re powerful, they still aren’t so easily matched against their grandfather.

So we finally see what we’ve been waiting for since the fates in 75 showed their vision of the future and…

- LETS FUCKING GOOOOO!!!! We see Persephone in her full QUEEN OF THE UNDERWORLD GLORY.

- LIKE GODS THIS IS JUST WOW. ALL HAIL THE DREAD QUEEN PERSEPHONE.

- honestly this got me way more hyped than maybe it should have but I don’t care. Like the art???the music swell?? This right here was worth the wait to see in my opinion.

We see in all her full glory Persephone Queen of the Underworld CROWN, POWER AND ALL. I love that the dress is a subtle blend of the dress we see her in during the fates vision of her, as well as a little of the design from this promotional art:

- As hype as I am about her transformation and status, I’m also worried about what this may mean. Is Hades had to pay some steep prices for his throne, I wonder what Persephone’s will be.

Ending thoughts/Theories:

1. While it looks like Athena and Ares weren’t really being shown in their full powerful glory, on reread I can see why. At this point I feel it’s implied that he’s been sucking the power from all who’ve been marked by him in some way. And in the original war against him, even the og Six Traitors had trouble taking him down before Zeus consumed Métis so the struggle here is kinda plausible. Also he’s most likely absorbed the power of the Oneiroi and Morpheus’ father.

2. What do you think Persephone gave in return for her power as Queen of the Underworld? Like Hades said it’s an older than time domain that extracts a price for power and respect over its domain and residents. While Hades hadn’t noticed certain effects of his sacrifice at first, I’m still curious about what Persephone ended up trading.

3. While it’s glossed over in light of bigger developments, Persephone’s injuring via the ring Kronos shoved on her hand is interesting. Would this count being ‘marked’ as it were by Kronos. We know that each of the six traitors (and maybe Zeus mentally) were marked by Kronos that allowed for a mental ‘tether’ to him that allowed for the absorption of pf their power. So another plot thread to really look out for…

3. Dread Queen/Fertility Goddess??? Like of course I’m still working out the full implications of the power the pomegranate grants, it’s not a stretch to say that if these powers are combined at the moment then she is sitting on a whole different level of power. Like the full powers of a fertility goddess AND chthonic ruler?? I really can’t wait for the next chapter!

Made an edit of my redesign of Kronos and Rhea which you can find HERE. Rhea was a free spirit while Kronos was very cautious, especially during the time he lead to usurp Ouranus. I actually remembered a piece of lore I came up with during this time, Ouranus could see anything above since he’s the personification sky so Gaia grew massive trees(?) to cover them and so that they can have some sort of shelter.

Ok i want to give me opinion about some things that happened in the latest LO chapter (chapter 201):

I hope that too, i really hope Demeter if safe and she isn't in a coma like the others :')

Hecate, My beautiful goddess, i'm sorry, i'm sorry for whatever the hell Kronos did to your feet and arms 😭😭😭

This is my biggest disapointment with this chapter, i was hoping Leuce would look a little more... Unique??? She is a daughter of Oceanus in the myths, an Oceanide, A.K.A a water nymph so i don't know why she looks like a regular flower nymph, i don't care that she is pink, but i was hoping she'll look similar to Thetis and Amphitrite. At least she could have the fish ears like the Oceanides in LO, she could still be similar to Persephone but meybe mixed with a a soft blue or white flowers in her clothes or hair, i don't think we'll see her again since Hades rejected her so i don't know why couldn't she look a little more special. I actually like the soft shade of pink they give her, so there is that at least, but her desing is just... Meh, pink flower nymph that looks like Persephone, nothing new. I hope the fandom doesn't hate her tough, she didn't really do anythig in this chapter.

This character is probably Hypnos, Thanatos twin brother and god of sleep or he could be one of Hypnos kids: Morpheus the god of dreams,that would explain why everyone is sleep, and honestly their desing looks... Fine, i guess, he looks like a male Hecate with wings. It doesn't look that bad and i am more curious to know why he put everyone to sleep and if he is with or against Kronos.

That would be all, i don't feel like talking about the other things that happened in this chapter.
