So, if Blurr thought Swindle broke the loop, do you think he became more open to forming strong connections with people because, hey, it's not like he has to worry about being plopped into a new world where the people he loves are different don't know him anymore, right?

I ask because. Him and Swindle are on opposite sides in like, every continuity. And they usually don't even interact at all. And I just keep thinking about Blurr knowing this and growing closer to him anyway because he believes he'll never have to worry about the emotional fallout of loving someone who's a stranger, his enemy and a conman who cares for nothing but money and himself in basically every world.

And he let's himself let go of his reservations about truly connecting with people and then, bam–he's dead again and this person he's come to love is a hostile stranger, just like he was always meant to be and always has been, and at the end of the day, is there anyone to blame for it but himself? He should have expected this. He should have been prepared. It's even worse since he thought Swindle was the one to break the loop in the first place and even told him about it

Oh yes absolutely he would.

He would think that by saving him Swindle broke the loop and he would be soooo ready to build something new and somewhat permanent in his life FINALLY

He would hang out with Windblade and Ironhide and Knockout and Jazz and Wreckers probably

He would also give Swindle A LOT of free drinks hahah. Which is. A big factor☝ in earning Swindle's friendship

I don't really have a clear timeline for all the universes he gets to visit but let's just imagine it's some kind of Animated AU:)

And yes. 99% of time Swindle would be on the enemy side. Which is....ouch

like this lends itself to a complete au to make it work so here goes. hear me out

Loop and Siffrin are siblings in an abusive household. Loop is older by say, 3ish years

When Loop is a teenager, 15-16ish, they run away from home. They don’t take Siffrin with them

TIMESKIP. Siffrin is 17 and in foster care. He doesn’t remember anything from before then. He’s being matched with a new foster parent. Also they’re trans (this will be relevant) but haven’t really been able to go on hormones yet

It’s LOOP. 20 years old. Transitioned, looks completely different now. you wouldn’t even recognize them from the person who ran away from home. They also don’t remember much but they remember they ran away, and they remember they left a little sibling behind.

they meet. Loop doesn’t realize Siffrin is their sibling at first bc of the name change (and memory issues). Siffrin doesn’t recognize Loop at all. He doesn’t even remember he has a sibling

Loop soon realizes who Siffrin is, but… Siffrin doesn’t even remember they exist. What are they supposed to say? That they’re his older sibling? That they left them behind? What if they mess this up and siffrin hates them and this all falls apart?

The guilt and anxiety win out. They won’t tell Siffrin… yet. They’ll figure out the right time, the right way

And thus we obtain Loop, the knower, helping Siffrin, the unknowing. Loop, who ran away, blames themself for it, tasks themself with helping other people like them through fostering. Ends up helping someone far too similar to them for comfort.

I don’t even know how to tie in the rest of the family or the loops(??) yet. This was custom engineered solely to get the juicy Loop and Siffrin dynamic lmao I’ll think of more as I go
