THE BONES WE HAUNT - WIP Intro.

Title: The Bones We Haunt.

Genre: Historical Fiction, Gothic horror, romance, novella.

Status: First Draft + development.

Synopsis:

November, 1905. 

While on holiday in Cambridge and attending museum lectures with her mother, Jane Sterling seeks to make this her chance to officially pursue her love of paleontology. While her family encourages the pursuit of passions and challenging rigid social norms, the institutes in place hinder her passion, making her resort to dressing brightly and speaking loudly for attention.

Jane's chance comes to reveal itself in the form of the wealthy and reclusive Sir Terence Hayes, who’s come in search for her father, the esteemed paleobotonist Dr. Samson Sterling, to appraise fossils found in his garden. Her mother eagerly volunteers Jane to go in Dr. Sterling’s place as he remains ill in America, and Terence brings her to his isolated family's estate in the vast, deep, muddy marshes of Wolf’s Run. And the land is shrouded in urban legends. There are whispers of 'The Wolf's Run Beast,' the 'Monster of the Marshes,' that haunts the land under the cover of night, and as Terence leaves Jane to her work he is hell-bent that she's to return to Cambridge before nightfall.

However, freak storms rage, causing the marshes' waters to rise and wash out the roads in flash floods before Jane has a chance to return, leaving her stranded at Wolf’s Run - and at the mercy of all that lurks there.

As night looms, the staff hastily depart, an eerie silence falls, Terence forbids her from even coming near the cellar, and, most importantly, he warns her against leaving her room before dawn. All is merely a strange act to Jane, brushing it off as the eccentricities of an Englishman, until something comes scratching at her door, hungering for her blood.

What started as a mere chance at becoming known swiftly becomes a tumultuous game of blood, teeth, survival, love, and salvation - and Jane must prepare to sharpen teeth of her own if she's to survive the horrors of the Wolf's Run marshes.

The Thundercracker Chronicles: S1E1 Opening

Thundercracker (narrating): [Black, distant gunfire] They say you don't have dreams in stasis. [Distant gunfire getting closer] I would have to agree. [Engines screaming overhead and engines revving all around, tires squealing, screams in agony, orders being barked] Because I have nightmares.

[Bomb whistles then explodes right behind Thundercracker, who is taking cover behind a fallen pillar while reloading his weapon, hands shaking.]

Skywarp: [Thundercracker looks to his left, Skywarp is firing everything he has at the approaching Autobot forces] We need air support!

Starscream: [Slaps Skywarp in the back of the head] Fool! We are the air support!

Skywarp: But… we’re pinned down!

Starscream: Then un-pin us now!

Skywarp: [bomb explodes too close for comfort] How? Do you not see the scrap hitting the fan all around us?

Starscream: Use your teleportation powers, you dolt!

2024 WIP SEARCHING

Howdy everyone! One of my goals for 2024 is to search for more wips to interact with, both with my mutuals and people who I'm not currently following!

I tend to like fantasy, soft sci-fi and dystopia, but I am looking to also branch out more into other genres, especially hard sci-fi and horror.

Project Girly Part 2

My work continues on the Animal Jam Archives Lore Project. On Instagram I've been just teasing what I'm working on, but over here on Jamblr ya'll are straight up getting snippets of my writing.

I'm still aiming for a January 2024 release but as I get closer to that deadline I'm sort of worrying it won't be ready by then. :,) But I'm trying my best! The reason that that's my deadline in the first place is because that's when I get a new job and I'll have less time to write.

I'd also like to thank @bootleggreely and @counterfeitphantoms for joining on as Alpha and Phantom experts respectively! They've been working on the character bio pages and I'm very happy with how things are turning out. I'm still looking for a writer to help me with writing for the adventures. looking for genshin impact writers

currently in the process of making a genshin impact hunipop game. I am at the point where I need to start working with a few writers.

Everything will be in first person viewed from the player. The player can be either male or female. The characters you can date are both male and female, 7 of each.

Most of the writing will be sfw, but there will need to be some NSFW as well.
