May the wisdom of Lord Ganesha guide you in all your endeavours. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi 2024!
Ganesha ॐ Talon Abraxas
Ganesh Chaturthi : An annual festival honours Ganesha for ten days, starting on Ganesh Chaturthi and ending on the fourteenth day of the fortnight (Anant Chaturdashi) which typically falls in late August or early September. Celebrations are traditionally held on the fourth day of the first fortnight (Shukla Chaturthi) in the month of Bhaadrapada in the Hindu calendar. The grand festival celebrated throughout India, especially in Maharashtra and Telengana includes worshipping by families at home, by people at their places of work and in public. The public celebration involves installing clay images of Ganesha in public pandals (temporary shrines) and group worship. At home, an appropriately-sized clay image is installed and worshipped by offering puja and prasad (typically Modaks and laddus) with family and friends. At the end of the festival, the idols are immersed (and dissolve) in a body of water such as a lake or pond.
Ganesh Mool Mantra
The Ganesha Mool Mantra is also known as the Ganesha Beeja mantra or the Bija mantra. In Hindi, ‘Beej’ means seed – the source of everything in the universe. This powerful mantra combines several of the Ganpathi beeja mantras, especially the beeja or the seed sonic vibration associated with Lord Ganpati –‘Gam’.
“Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Glaum Gam Ganapataye Vara Varad Sarvajan janmay Vashamanaye Swaha Tatpurushaye Vidmahe Vakratundaye Dhimahi Tanno Danti Prachodyat Om Shantih Shantih Shantihi”
Meaning : The Ganesh Mool mantra is the most succinct and powerful Lord Ganesha mantra of all. This mantra celebrates the unique and divine form of God Ganpati (Ganesha) and his powers. The Ganesha Mool (root) Mantra, beginning with the incantation of ‘Om’ evokes positivity, purity, energy and the presence of Lord Ganpati in one’s life.
Benefit : The Ganesh Mool Mantra is believed to create a powerful aura around one’s body because of the cosmic energy in the sound vibrations of the Sanskrit words. This mantra is uniquely musical and lifts the mind to a state of trance. It is widely chanted during Pujas and Yagyas to please Lord Ganesha. It brings peace, good luck, success and removes all obstacles from one’s life if incanted in the proper way.
Powerful Ganesh Mantra - For Success, Removal of All Obstacles:

So my coworker surprised me with some gifts today! He had two postcards of Lord Shiva to give me, because I've been telling him about my love for Lord Shiva. 🥰 I confess I did a happy dance and squealed a lot.🤭🤣 but it made me ridiculously happy because idk where I could find such beautiful images of Mahadev by myself.💜

There's even Nandi the Bull and Lord Ganesha in the one on the left!🥰🥰😍😍

Hey guys!
I have been actively manifesting and felt drawn to manifest for others as well. I believe in collective energies and manifesting. I have done a simple bay leaf spell for whoever interacts with this post. The spell is done for abundance, blockage removal, protection and faster manifestation results.
To affirm this into existence comment “🧿✨🍀” only if you feel called to do it. Also the middle image is my little altar with Lord Ganesha 🤍

Opening the door for Petitioning Ganesha
Tumblr media
I am opening this for a few days, maybe until Wednesday 5th of April. Ganesha is known for being lord of obstacles and remover of obstacles both mundane and spiritual, a cross-road god and a gatekeeper, if anything he's a very benevolent god. I have a small ganesha Murti at home, and I welcome everyone to come and write their petition here, as a reblog, or through the ask, or they can send it to me to my discord in my profile. You can add your initials or something to identify you when I write it for him. The door is open for everyone and it is a free service. I will personally write the petition, seal it, and offer date, rose, and rose water alongside of it. I am going to perform a small puja for Ganesha alongside the offered paper, after the petition if there's any signs I might post it/repost it for people to know if there's a sign. You can ask in your petition if you have any inquiry from Ganesha for him to answer you in your dreams or through another method. Hail to the Lord of Vows, hail to Ganapati, hail to the First Lord, hail unto you, to the Big-Bellied, One-tusked, Obstacle-destroyer, the Son of Shiva, to the Boon-Giver, Hail, hail.

Katrikeya, also known as Skanda and murugan, is the brother of Ganesha/son of Lord Siva.
He is a brilliant god of War and determination - the commander in chief of Devas and had the task of destroying Asura/Rakshasa.
He is connected to the 3rd Nakshatra, Krittika - spanning from 26°40′ Aries to 10° Taurus, something I will dive much deeper during the creation of my nakshatra series.
Krittika Nakshatra is symbolized by a sharp-edged weapon.
This Nakshatra is ruled by the Sun and is the Pleiades star cluster, the six stars corresponding to the divine mother figures who raised Katrikeya after he was born as six emanations from Shiva's third eye, as separate baby boys and then fused into the six headed Kartikeya by Parvati.
Katrikeya in Sanskrit also means, "of the six krittikas", the six krittikas being the six mother figures.

“My dad’s favorite number was 7, and a lot of things that he did were according to the number 7, whether he meant it or not. That was the highest honor I could have given a track on the album [Brainwashed], to put it track 7.” - Dhani Harrison, Brainwashed EPK
Track no. 7 series: “That Which I Have Lost” —
“That Which I Have Lost comes straight out of the Bhagavad Gita, which I was reading at the time and then I turned it into this little country and western tune. The Gita is all about the struggle against the forces of darkness — limitation, falsehood and mortality. It sounds a bit like Star Wars, but life is a battlefield. People think life is all about having fun, and if the fun gets taken away we get upset. But life isn’t fun, it’s like being in prison — ‘I sentence you to life.’ You have to go and fight your battles with duality. And that’s what this song’s about.” - I Me Mine — The Extended Edition (2017)
“If you ask questions like: Why the Beatles? you run into difficulties, because you make it sound like these four people are special agents or something. The simplest explanation for it is to get into a bit of philosophy, the reincarnation theory. We accumulate credit and debit in our life just as we do in our bank, through our own actions. Bob Dylan said it like this: Look out kid, it’s something you did/God knows when, but you’re doing it again. So, whoever Hitler was, he was a nasty bastard. And The Beatles, whoever they were, were the result of what they’d done before. We sentence you to a life imprisonment, but the prison is actually The Beatles. You’ll be famous and rich, but you’ll be imprisoned in that concept, Beatlemania.” - George Harrison, VOX, September 1992 (x)
About the jewelry seen here...
“When I met Heyoka Merrifield in 1975, I was taken by his art and jewelry. The pieces he has made for me have become part of my life and travel with me wherever I go, especially the miniature shrine to Lord Ganesha. Not a gem nor precious metal passes through Heyoka’s hands that is not instilled with a spirit of its own in the process of being transformed into a work of art and beauty." - George Harrison, The Book of Shrines (2013)
"[Heyoka Merrifield] was a lifelong friend of George Harrison of the Beatles, designing [George and Olivia] Harrisons' wedding rings and several traveling altar pieces for meditation and spiritual renewal." - Missoulian, September 16, 2006
"I dedicate Painted Earth Temple to my friend and medicine brother George Harrison, for he joined the world of spirit as the last few chapters were being written. George was a calm center in the hurricane of misplaced archetypal mythic images with which our society seems to resonate. Living in this most difficult environment, he was able to find peace while striving to walk in balance and embracing life as a quest for spiritual understanding. Although our paths on this quest differed, our hearts understood that the path is really only one.
As I write this dedication, an eagle flies past my window toward the mountains, disappearing into the west. In the ancient Earth traditions, this is seen as a gift from the Sacred Powers and it tells me that my friend is close by. May his spirit always soar with the eagles." - Heyoka Merrifield, Painted Earth Temple (2007) (x)

I sit through just SO many boring meetings during my work day, so I always need to have a little hand-stitching project going to keep myself occupied off-camera. This week is “Ganesha, Lord of Obstacles”, referencing an 11th century carving that the Portland Art Museum generously published an image of.
Don’t let the black outline fool you: this guy is going to have as many colors with as much sparkle and metallic thread as I can fit in to him by the time he’s done.

Harnessing the Power of Ganesh to Remove Obstacles in Your Life
Salutations to the supreme Lord Ganesha, whose curved trunk and massive body shines like a million suns and showers his blessings on everyone. Oh Lord Ganesha, kindly remove all obstacles, always and forever from all my activities and endeavors. - Ganesh Invocation
Invoking Ganesha’s Energy
There are three steps to imbuing our consciousness with the energy of Ganesha:
1. Become aware of the qualities (as we’ve done above). By putting our attention on these characteristics of awareness we enliven them in ourselves. Review each of the attributes and say to yourself, These qualities are in me.
2. Anchor these qualities in your awareness by putting your attention on the image of Ganesha in the form of a painting, statue, or by visualizing him in your mind’s eye. If you like, imagine his powerful foot stomping the ground to create a shockwave capable of crumbling all barriers to fulfillment of desire into rubble.
3/ Repeat the mantra that resonates with his attributes so that the subtle vibrations begin to shift your consciousness and activate the mantra as a psychological and energetic trigger for transformation. While there are several mantras dedicated to Ganesh, one of the most frequently used is:
Om Gum Ganapatayei Namaha
(OM GUM GUN-NUH-PUT-YEI NAHM-AH-HA)
Translation: Om and salutations to the remover of obstacles for which gum is the seed vibration.
Remember, Ganesha is far more than a mythological figure. Ganesha is a state of consciousness that lives within us all. By putting your attention on his attributes, image, and vibration you awaken the dormant potential to remove all obstacles in your life.

Went to the Dallas Art Museum this weekend with my partner Kyle and there's a Hindu exhibit there! I honestly can't explain how happy I was to see carvings/statues of Lord Shiva, Durga, Ganesha, Pavarti, & others I didn't know! I felt such a warmth & welcome from them, especially Shiva and Ganesha.
Over the past few months, I have felt a pull to Goddess Khali again like I did in 2020. Ganesha has also appeared in my meditations as he did long ago. But Lord Shiva is new!🤭 I've been getting a lot of art of him on Pinterest lately, and he appeared in a meditation I did for the past full moon along with Khali and Ganesha.💜
I have not felt such a loving tug from a deity in the long time, and Shiva did that at the museum.💜
When I saw the Shiva statue of him dancing from across the hall, I don't know exactly how to describe it but I "felt" rather than heard a whisper of "Come see me, Hannah!"
I even remember seeing the statue & thinking "Shiva?" Second guessing myself, and feeling a playful response of "Hannah?" 🤭
This was art museum but I still felt like the urge to leave offerings of thanks to the statues and burn incense for them.💜 It was amazing and I feel so happy and a warmth of love from Shiva and Ganesha I haven't felt since first finding Thor or Loki all of those years ago. 💜🕉
I wish Tumblr let me share more than 10 images per post lol
The first photo is of the statue of Shiva I saw from across the room. Next is Goddess Durga, then Durga again, Nandi the Bull the mount of Lord Shiva, and Lord Ganesha!🕉🕉🕉
