What is Tigerheart doing on the border ? he doesnt explain it? I actually thought that he was already meeting Dovepaw secretly but then hes not like what is he doing...?

Dovepaw being worried for the other Clans + her thoughts about having this power should put her above the Clan rules could be so interesting. the series back-and-forths over Lionblaze (we must protect ThunderClan) and Dovepaw (we must protect all the Clans) even though Lionblaze gets annoyed at Dovepaw for using her powers to look after ThunderClan???

The whole "being obsessed with Prophecy and what it means" is probs a part of Jay's character (as he baso became a med cat to fulfil his destiny) but it also feels like a gross misunderstanding of what a Prophecy is. All the "the dark forest is rising. This might be what the Three is meant for" is like putting the horse before the cart- a prophecy is meant to describe a situation and hint at the character/means to solve it; but PO3/OoTS has the characters/means to solve, but no conflict :/ its a bit backwards.

I like the mentions of Firestar + Sandstorm going on night hunts etc.

Blossompaw/fall's a cunt lol. Shes kinda fun but shes not nice at all especially to Ivypool.

The pacing is actually... not good. Ive defo always been on thr camp of "too many povs and too few chapters ruins the book" but wow FE really shows it.

So much of Doves characterisation so far is about agency and not wanting to be special and have Firestar/Lion/Jay talk to her. I wish this was not forgotten about in later Super Editions.... kittypetdovewing2k24

this battle is crazy tho. I wish more of the DF plot was about stirring up trouble between the Clans and specific troublemakers in each Clan rather than the later nebelous 'dark warriors invade the forest' battle. Ill get to that one day

Okay i actuallt love ShadowClan discussing the battle + tactics + training and then the chapter immediately after the TC camp doesnt mention it at all and Ivypaw is like "why arent we discussing the battle? Just because we won doesn't mean we will again!!" interesting character moments + a nice look at differences between the Clans

Dove n tiger have negative chemistry like it just jumps right into "no boundaries can keep us apart". I get shes using him as an escape from TC/prophecy bullshit but like.... rlly? I wish it was just like expanded on. Tbh i wish every chapter had like just two extra pages to actually delve into things a bit better.

Every single book Dovepaw has a character die/get really hurt and is haunted by their screams. Rippletail, Longtail/Briarpaw, and later on its Antpelt... jesus christ girlie has it SO rough

The ivypaw "nernernenerner im better than you im being trained by tigerstar" to "oh fuck hes actually a bad guy i cant believe the terroristic maniac lied to me" is so rapid shes so funny/stupid

The imagery in this book is kinda crazy. Fire and ice cats and drowning in darkness visions. Very fun.

So the med cats are divided and split up and StarClan does not trust any other Clan cat- but when in StarClan, Barkface and Flametail are hanging out? Crookedstar offers to share prey with Yellowfang? But StarClan is super fractured rn each Clan must stand alone. Okay

all the hints to Hollyleaf still... its a nice throughline... the yarrow and tansy and Molepaw/Cherrypaw scenes... shes my fave. sometimes the foreshadowing feels like it could be just Jayfeather coping that she's 'defo still out there' but TFW ties it up well. especially when you get surprised by Sol coming back and its like 'oh they were convinced she was defo still out there :(' and then she's actually back!!!

also the title??? is banger. the Forgotten Warrior, with Leafpool on the OG cover??? wow. espec as its constantly brought up that Leafpool was the medicine cat but no one sees her as a warrior really.... TBH all these titles are just as good as the TPB titles in terms of meaning/how good they are.

its kinda weird we dont get any like. scenes of the siblings just being siblings... they only discuss prophecy/plot shit and dont get to be siblings again - which i guess fits with the whole 'everything has changed' but god it'd be so god to just have them doing like. normal cat stuff - especially when so much of this series has had Jayfeather missing her and Lionblaze

There's this Megatron detail, true, I had forgotten.

I don't remember as much about the cyberverse as I would like, but yes, they are forced to swallow a lot of things, it doesn't mean they will stop being protective

The elite trine is looking at them all the time like 🤨🤔

God, I wish I could commentate in the cyberverse elite trine with the jettwins. But like... we don't even know how they themselves get along. Skywarp never got a single line of dialogue. Thundercracker and Starscream never interacted one-on-one.

Since canon is so lacking, lemme just... grasp at straws real quick

Thundercracker is really young in cyberverse. Possibly even younger than the twins, depending on what age we cast them. He seems like... idk. 15, max? The most characterization we got for him was the scene where Megatron beats Starscream to death. Thundercracker watches the whole thing, paralyzed by fear. I think he wanted to help but was too afraid to move, knowing they'd likely both die if he tried to intervene. That in turn would make him as loyal to Starscream as he was after his resurrection; he was so guiltridden letting him die like that, he decided to make the most of this miraculous second chance

So... hm. That pivotal moment hasn't come to pass. Let's say that he's kinda like a cute admirer of Starscream, mooning over him from afar and hoping he can be useful. The leader of all the seekers is someone he looks up to, and wants to be truly worthy of being his trinemate.

And Skywarp. Poor Skywarp. She was robbed by cyberverse. I really like her earthspark rendition, so let's use that as a base; Starscream's sassy goth older sister that won't hesitate to put him in a headlock or call him out when he's being crazy. She's robust and a bit aloof, but she loves her idiot younger brother and tries her best to look out for him. She gave up inheriting the crown of Vos a long time ago, and sometimes regrets that her decision to walk away has left him to shoulder so much. She does everything she can to keep his dumb aft in check 🤭

The twins immediately take a liking to Thundercracker--someone their age they can drag into their mischief, and now their Uncle Skywarp is an Auntie Skywarp, so that's fun! They try to get both of them onto the Starscream Protection Squad, not realizing Sky's already part of it and TC's just really shy

When I first met K, I was a sophomore and I had a small crush on him. Despite this, we barely interacted and I was too shy to initiate 😓. It wasn’t until he offered private tutoring to me later on that we really connected. It helped that his subject (English 📚 ) was also the one that I most excelled in. The tutoring gave me the opportunity to see him one on one, and me being interested in his area of study led to us talking more personally.

For a while after that, we were just friends. Us having similar interests (not just English, but also music taste, art, literature, etc.) helped me be friends with him. In time, we naturally grew closer 😊. But even with me and K, it took a lot of time to become romantic at all, and many times I was convinced he just didn’t like me that way 😔. I knew K respected me as a friend, but I didn’t know his romantic feelings until I confessed to him. I was honestly shocked 😳!

I’m not great at advice, so excuse me if it sounds generic 😅.

-Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! It doesn’t have to be crazy. Just saying one little thing a day can go a long way and help you get more comfortable talking to them. 😉

-If the tc runs any clubs, electives or activities at your college, try participating. This gives you more time with them and gives you a chance to interact with something they like. 👍 Even office hours can give you a chance to just be around them and get more comfortable.

-Listening and remembering is an obvious one. Most people feel flattered when you remember the little details.

-In my experience, it helps not to make romantic things the only priority. 👯 I think the best partners are also the best friends! It also takes some of the pressure off of you when you try talk to them.

-This might not work every time, but try being eye catching 👀. This doesn’t necessarily mean dressing sexy or high-effort (though I suppose that might work 😂), it can also mean wearing an unusual color, doing your hair a different way for a day, having cute pins on your bag. Wearing things pertaining to your interests (like a band tee) can be an easy way of finding out what you have in common with your tc.

MapleRaven au is one made by me and @x-critter2022 ! They thought of the idea and we spent a while fleshing it out but then I lost my acc and most of the details so it was semi scrapped

The basis is that instead Mapleshade and Ravenwing are together and have their kits but to keep his secret (and bc he has a complex) he faked the sign from Starclan and exposed her but said the kits were Appledusk’s who TC hated in canon bc of Birch and Flowerpaw’s deaths. Maple is furious for good reason and grabs Nettlepaw who is Raven’s apprentice and says that he has to come with their kits or she’ll kill him. Make it a little angsty with the river flooding and the crazy storm when Raven shows up with their kits. The two fight and Maple says out loud that he’s their dad, so now the kits and Nettlepaw know. Raven gets angry and leaps at her but Petalkit gets tripped by his paw and falls into the river. Maple screeches and leaps into the river after her daughter, both drowning.

Ravenwing looks at the river with horror and Nettlepaw tries to save poor Petalkit but she’s quickly whisked underwater. Scared for the remaining kits health Raven leaves the river with Patch and Larch. When they all get back Nettlepaw reveals it to Oakstar who is RAGING. He’s about to banish the Tom but if he did they wouldn’t have a fully trained healer. Now Raven is allowed in camp but kept from his kits, and only there until Nettle is ready to be named. He tries to push back his ceremony but Nettle tells him to cut that shit. Pressured and in anger he runs, racing across the river to Riverclan where he ends up ambushing Appledusk. He kills him but Reedshine was there and she’s horrified, her noise calling another patrol. He’s brought back to Oakstar who executes him.

Nettle is fully trained and names himself Nettlepetal after the kit he couldn’t save. I like to think he was actually really cute with the litter before everything happened like a older brother type who’d bring them pretty plants. Patchpaw stays in TC for a bit but can’t handle the constant reminders of his parents and the whispers all the time so he moves to RC where Reedshine pretty much adopts him. He remembers what a impact Nettle was to him and his siblings so he takes a simailr role to her kits! He also renames himself Koishine when he’s a warrior to distance himself from his trauma and past but also after his momma! When he leaves tho it hurts Larchpaw a lot. He’s pretty much completely alone and a really quiet, distant apprentice. He’s named Larchfrost for his nature but warms when he finds a little kit he names Daisykit (semi after petal as welll!). This is the same Daisy as Goose and Moon’s mom!

After both their parents death they each haunt their kids lineage. Seeing their kids move past and try to erase their relation to their parents makes both Maple and Raven angry who choose to haunt them bc their horrible parents. Maple haunts Koishine, going after Crookedkit who is the closest lineage as his adopted younger brother while Raven haunts Goosekit. Another note is that later in life Nettlepetal and Larchfrost started a garden to honor all the kits who died unfairly, a wildflower patch to remember the little lives lost too young. It’s a family thing and that’s the reason Frostfur (who is a goosefeather kit as always) stays behind to care for it when the cats leave in TNP! Very long au but I love it a lot and I’m so happy with how it is!

1) What does your TC teach and do they teach you? B teaches English and he taught me last year. He was our class tutor earlier this year for a different class that we have 4 times a week. S teaches Science and Italian. He sadly doesn’t teach me but he did teach me 2 years ago

2) If you could pick their outfit for the day what would it be? SUITS!

3) What’s their personality like? (e.g. are they loud or quiet? Enthusiastic or fairly reserved?) They are all quite enthusiastic about everything, which is good! But they are also quite quiet as well

4) Are they married? Got any kids? I’m pretty sure they aren’t married and have no kids

5) What’s your favourite memory with them? B looking out for me and S teaching me

6) What was your first impression of them? That they were going to be fun!

7) What’s your favourite thing about them (physically or personality wise)? B looks out for me when the school has any sort of gathering! S is very kind towards me! A is very cute!

In this episode, TIME FOR THE HAPPY TEARS, EVERYBODY! (and I mean everybody)

So the episode wastes NO time to get going, and YES, IT’S TIME FOR THE LOVED ONES’ VISITS! But PLOT TWIST! Y’all get ALL THE KIDDIES NOW, TOO!

And oh my god, what a sweet moment. And I’m so happy they let them have more than one family member, because this truly is an important moment for both us, the fans, and them, and what better way than to share that with their families? (Plus, what the fuck are you gonna do? Make the spouse fly to Fiji and leave the kiddies at home? Bring only one kid? NAH, BRING THEM ALL, LOOK AT HOW ADORABLE THIS IS!).

And of course, oh god the tears. Honestly, we can all play and say “Ah, c’mon, it’s only been 20 or so days, how can you be so emotional?”, but like? The pressure they’re all under? Knowing you really can’t trust anyone around you? And then seeing the one person you know has your back unconditionally? It must be such a powerful moment!

I wish I could take pics of everyone but that REALLY would take so much time, but oh my god I had to with Tony...LOOK AT HIM. BEING SUPER SOFT. MY HEART CAN’T TAKE IT.

And as if that wasn’t enough of a tearjerker, we get EMOTIONAL TYSON. EMOTIONAL TYSON JUST FUCKING TAKES ME OUT, MAN. I JUST-....AAAAAAAA.

You know when the jokey character finally gets serious, and it’s always such an “oh shit” moment? Yeah, it’s kinda like that. God, he loves them so much aaaa. (I am confused tho, didn’t he have two kids? Someone tell me what’s up with that). And omfg him being all “Am I stinky? I am?” to his daughter, AHHHH TOO CUTE.

And of course we get ULTIMATE WOMEN RESPECTER, LOVER OF HIS WIFE AND KIDS MR JEREMY COLLINS WHAT AN ICON.

But anyway, after some dad jokes from Jeff, we find out...THERE IS NO CHALLENGE! EVERYONE GETS TO ENJOY TIME WITH THEIR LOVED ONES! And honestly? What a good choice, especially for this season. Imagine having to compete and having to pick whoever goes on the reward. IMAGINE MAKING CHILDREN CRY sdkjghkf. So yeah, everyone gets to have fun!

After that absolute wholesomeness, we go back to Edge of Exctinction, or as I like to call it: Depreeeession iiiiislaaaand! (read in a sing-songy jingle voice). So the gang is being sad, as one does, and then...a boat appears? Something bad happening? SYKE, Y’ALL GET LOVED ONES, TOO, BABY!

AND LIKE, that’s so sweet!? I’m so happy even the people on the Edge get to have this moment, cause c’mon! They totally deserve it!

AND WE AS FANS DESERVE TO SEE THE ROMBER KIDDIES AND PARV WITH HER SON AND ALL THE CUTENESS AND AAAAAA

And then we get Adam and his dad and I’M ALREADY CRYING, PLEASE DON’T DO THIS TO ME, BUT I’M SO HAPPY FOR HIM.

So yeah, it was SO cute, SO deserved, and I’m super emotional and I love them all so much.

BUT ANYWAY, TIME TO KEEP STABBING PEOPLE IN THE BACK LMAO.

The challenge is the “stack the letters on the wobbly table that you hold steady with a rope and spell immunity” one, which I’d LOVE to try, I’d probably suck ass, but I’d love to try it...

AND HOLY SHIT, TONY WINS?

“I won a game of patience!” BRO NOBODY CAN BELIEVE IT BUT WE LOVE IT, LET’S GO!

So, what’s going on now? Jeremy tells Tony he wants to split up Sarah and Sophie (Uhm, NO), but Tony is kinda not on board with that (...for now). Then Sarah says she wants to get Kim out (again...NO), but Tony suggest Tyson would be a better idea. But Jeremy is being pretty sus, so Tony calls the boys and is like “Y’all wanna blindside Jeremy?”.

So there’s a line being drawn in the sand, with Tony, Sarah, Sophie, Ben and Nick on one side, and Kim, Denise, Tyson, Jeremy and Michele on the other. BUT Jeremy has his get-out-of-TC advantage, Sarah has a steal-a-vote, and Kim has an idol...

Anyway, TC starts and it’s instant whispering time, so Jeremy is clearly feeling targeted, so he goes to call Jeff...and so does Sarah! Of course nobody wants to be the first one to reveal their move, so they both go “You first.” “No, you.” “Ladies first!” “Nope.” and then it HAPPENS AGAIN.

In the end, Jeremy goes first and he plays his get the fuck out advantage, leaving TC...and he’s safe, but now his alliance is down a number! But also the other alliance has no target anymore!

AND THEN SOPHIE IS LIKE “Why don’t the five of us go over there and make a decision?” which OMFG HILARIOUS and also DAMN, THAT’D BOLD. But yeah, it’s scrambling time for sure.

And then as if that isn’t enough Sarah uses her steal-a-vote to get Denise’s vote, leaving them at 6 to 3 (they still had the numbers, but I guess she used it to make sure so nobody flips and it’s a tie?). AND THENNNN, Kim goes and uses her idol on DENISE, which I thought wasn’t the right choice tbh, but who knows.

And in the end, Tyson goes home. They did throw 2 votes to Denise, and then APPARENTLY Michele actually voted for Tyson as well, because there were only 2 Sophie votes? I didn’t know it, I found it from the Purple Rock, but I AM ONCE AGAIN ASKING FOR THE VOTES TO BE SHOWN DKJFDKJFDH.

June TC Challenge

1. Do you and your TC have any hobbies or interests in common? If so, do you talk about them together often?

Not really, I guess we have a shared interest in poetry? And we sometimes talk about it when he's helping with my writing during his afterschool activity.

2. Does your TC ever talk about their childhood/teenage years? If yes, what were they like and what sort of childhood did they have?

Yeahh T likes to include his own experiences while teaching and it's super cute. He wasn't that good of a student (which was surprising), with strict but loving parents and a lot of siblings.

3. If you could choose one from the following from your TC, what would you choose? An hour alone with them to chat about what you want, a hug, a present, a handwritten note or then complimenting you in front of the class?

4. Do you think you’ll buy them a leaving gift? If so, what are you thinking of getting them?

Definitely, but I still have no idea what to get and I'm running out of time!!! Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

5. When and where did you first meet them?

It must have been somewhere in school when he first came a few years ago, but I really can't remember.

6. What was your first impression of them?

Can't remember :/

7. Do they give out much homework in their classes? What type of homework do they commonly give out?

He doesn't give a lot, usually it would be like reading a few pages and making notes, or written tasks like mini-essays or essay plans. Anything that involves writing (or speaking 💀) I would take literal decades to complete because I want to impress him so badly.

8. Do they talk a lot in their classes or do they do more activities?

Depending on what's being taught, T usually lectures during the lessons. We rarely have activities that take longer than half the lesson, which is great for me because I get to hear him teach more.

9. What’s their funniest moment this far?

Oh this is very hard, I think most of us would say it's when he performed last week, that was both amazing and hilarious at the same time, but he has so many more extremely funny moments.

10. What’s their cutest moment so far?

I'm not sure what counts as cute? It's adorable when he can't get technology to work or when he's bad at maths, and when he makes a mistake and quietly reprimands himself. His genuine laughs are super cute as well.

11. Have you gone on a field trip with them yet? If so, to where?

That was how our story started - I won't say where to but he took us on a trip to another country for an event, it was so long ago but I still treasure the memories.

12. Have you got any selfies with them? If yes, where were they taken?

Unfortunately not, and I will probably never get one.

13. Do you usually prefer older people or is your TC an exception?

I definitely don't prefer old older people (no offence to anyone here at all), but T is closer to the higher end of the age range of the TCs I've had. And yes, I've preferred people who are 10-20 years older than me for quite long now, T is not an exception.

14. Are you and your TC close? Do you talk to them often?

I mean I would say we are quite close, at least by the standards of how he usually interacts with students (definitely not as close as many people here are with their TCs teach me your ways). He recognises that I am a good student and I have involved myself with him so much - being in his afterschool activity, writing the essay he's mentoring me on, etc. I am always looking for reasons to talk to him.

15. Do they have any pets?

Yes, they have a dog, I've seen her in real life twice and she's adorable.

16. Is there anything about them you wish you could change?

I do wish he was a bit closer to students (i.e. me), we get to spend so much more time with some of our other teachers and talk to them, then maybe I could have had a bit more with T before he left.

17. Is there a particular song that reminds you of them?

Crazy in Love and Hypochondriac.

18. Do you have dreams about them? If so, what is the best dream you’ve had about them so far?

I dream about T all the time, the most intimate was of him and I sitting side by side on a table, his arm around my waist and me leaning into him. I have also dreamt of holding his hand and spending time with him at school events.

19. What sort of girlfriend/boyfriend/partner do you think they’ll be?

I often imagine his dynamic with S and he just seems like an ideal partner - the few details they have each separately disclosed support it. He must be so loving and gentle and romantic (but not in a grand way, in the smaller details).

20. What’s their sense of humour like? Can they make you laugh?

It's hard to describe but I really love his humour, it's not deliberate but funny on a personal level if that makes sense. T isn't like the typical 'funny teachers' we have and his jokes are more subtle, yet it always makes us laugh in lessons.

21. Are they usually your ‘type?’ If not, what attracted you to them?

It has been too long that I can't tell if he fits my type or if I fit my type to him, but academic intelligence, good looks, humour, care for others, and generally upright morals do generally appeal to me.

22. Are they more of an introvert or an extrovert?

For the most part, I would say extrovert. Especially this year, with his homeroom class and us being based closer to his classroom, I see him alone a lot less. He complained of online learning and told us how much he missed seeing his friends and colleagues and interacting with students. Whereas he also eats lunch behind the closed doors of his classroom every day, alone, and I never really know why.

23. What is their classroom like? Do they put a lot of pictures up?

T's classroom has - or, rather, had - a few posters on the walls with quotes, but mostly it's revision work his students have done for the books they were studying. Our class decorated almost an entire wall after our first year with him.

24. Has anyone in your life caught on to your crush for them?

I have only told a few of my closest friends and some of them were not that surprised to find out. One or two other people I knew had also occasionally hinted at the possibility, which scared me to death.

25. What caused you to realise that you have a crush on them?

He took us on a school trip abroad and was with us during one of the events, I suddenly realised that I was constantly looking his way and admiring his beautiful face, which was when I knew.

26. How long have you had a crush on them now?

That would have been nearly three years ago. Big sigh.

27. What is their body type?

T is very fit but not overtly muscular, his shoulders are wide and he has a sturdy back, forming an inverted triangle down to his slender waist.

28. Do they have any school events they especially enjoy? How about ones they don’t like?

Unsurprisingly, he was usually pretty invested in the sport events (mainly for S I assume), but whenever there were compulsory whole-school House events he would also contribute. I guess teachers are just not given as much liberty to show their dislike for any events.

29. How long have they been teaching for?

Around ten years, give or take. T cited this number with me when he told me that he had only ever taught one other student as good as I was in English in his ten years of teaching.

30. Are they younger (20s-30s) or older (40+)?

Younger, which I am grateful for.

Favorite projects!

Let's see. One of my favorite projects to work on is Second Chances, which has immense personal meaning to me. But I'm always a little worried if I let other people read it, they'll just to think I'm a complete freak ahahahaha

I really like Laero because I love the characters! Sometimes working on that one in the past actually has made me cry though, because the main character struggles with depression in a way that hits very close to home. Unfortunately, as much as I love the characters the story needs a ton of work which I have not worked up the strength to do yet, but I have always wanted to make the story work and I will do it someday.

I really like Coyote Song even though it's incredibly pretentious, basically unreadable, and possibly even unsalvageable? But I had so much fun writing it at the time even though it's bad.

I also generally find Miracles very fun to work on :3

Character types and themes!

I love fairy tales. Fairy tale tropes, set ups, and themes show up in my work all the time. I especially love selkies and swan maidens and Beauty and the Beast, so my work involves a lot of shapeshifters. But there's generally just fairy tale references everywhere in everything that I write. Also, I love storytelling in general and so very often my characters will spend time in stories telling legends and fairy tales and ghost stories to each other because that's such a human thing to me and I just love including it. (Also when they do, the stories usually end up having something to do with the plot literally or symbolically~)

As for character types, I think I have four that I love the most.

I love to write women who are incredibly ambitious and ruthless and manipulative. I love to write women who are very practical and have low emotionality. I love to write men who are soft and sweet and maybe a little stupid. I love to write men and women (but mostly men) who are incredibly dramatic and theatrical and who are just really having a good time all the time. Bonus round: characters who are dumb and emo.

Me as a gryphon!

I see you're out here asking the important questions!!! I'm small, loud, and gregarious so I feel like realistically I would probably be some kind of crow/black cat gryphon. But if we want to go with the standard raptor/big cat set up and I could pick anything, I would go with a laughing falcon and a snow leopard~

I have a very talented friend who actually made me a little stuffed version of this and she's super cute!

The fur spots are hard to see in photos but they are there. If I can go really crazy, I wouldn't mind matching my avatar and being pink. ^__^

This is my Kurama Taeyang Wip along with my Sailor Venus Pullip! This whole craziness started when I began writing a kuranako fic

I wanted a Kurama Taeyang to go with Sailor Venus, but the don’t make them ;-; So, I made my own! When I got to this part, my buddy @cursedronin​ had encouraged me to post this (2 months ago... I can’t help it when I get nervous!) so here I go!

So this is what I’ve got so far, I wasn’t happy with the wig I made, though it was my first attempt, so I’m working on another that I might post later on. And if you couldn’t tell from the first image, this is NOT a professional job XD Because I watch a lot of Dollightful on youtube (She’s so awesome! I got the body from an Ebay listing sold by pullipstyle: Taeyang (boy Pullip) MIO Make It Own Kit for customization in US. They have a few different ones, but for Kurama I got the Taeyang one.

So I like to give props to my dolls (I’m trying to make the Crystal Sword for Sailor Venus, and already made her a chain, though it’s the Love and Beauty Shock one, which I like more) I decided to make Kurama’s Rose Whip to go with him! (Forewarning though, if you use florist tape, the green likes to come off onto the softer plastic of the dolls hand)

I just went on Amazon and found these for it.

The wire wasn’t very thick, so I had to make three long braids and braid those together to get my end result.

Lion Brand Yarn in Cincinnati Red (Yarn MUST be 100% acrylic or styling it with a flat iron will melt it, any brand is fine) I made the wig based on Mozekyto’s guide for making yarn hair!

Now this one was funny! So a lot of people either print off or color a piece of cardboard and cut it to size for the chips in the eyes. But Sailor Venus has sparkly eyes and I wanted a similar luster to Kurama’s! So, I found this shimmery chip bag! (Yes, it’s goofy but it works!) Another thing that could’ve worked is stickers, shiny wrapping paper, or just nice sparkly paint.

So here is! All put together but no wig or clothes! (Thankfully he has that Ken doll bod or I’d get censored, for sure) His eyes are so sparkly! For his clothes, I looked around on Etsy and found these cute listings by HelloCoolCat

Yay! Now he’s coming together! (Yes, that’s a coat hanger bent to hold him up, I don’t have an extra doll stand yet XD) But now with the wig on, he’s got some pretty soulless eyes... >_>

Thankfully with these tools, I was able to give him some eye shines and he becomes less scary! (Yes, that’s a straw with a bit cut out of it, and yes, that’s my Sailor Chibimoon mechanical pencil, it had the perfect size ball to make circles on his eyes XD As long as I wash off the acrylic paint, it’s fine)

I used Apple Barrel Gloss white acryllic paint for the eyeshines.

It’s not an exact match, of course, so I’m continuing to work on it and hopefully post better pics in the future! (And maybe actually get a background that isn’t my little cupboard door on a stool, lol)

4.01 ideas

So season 3 leaves a lot of different ways for season 4 to start.

I have to believe there was an actual reason for sending Juliet and Ethan off to Africa so hopefully it will be good. I don’t know what the producers are thinking/ planning for the next season but here are some possible plots I would LOVE (and in some cases NEED) to see.

Miggy reunion (hug) - so this would mean we start at the end of the six months (or some months into the Kenya adventure). This is the one plot/scene I absolutely would hate if we didn’t get. But I mean, come one, they have to give us our Miggy reunion! 

(Or like more than one. Maybe we can have both Higgy and Magnum have dream reunions. And then like somehow have one airport reunion and then a welcome home hug and just... actually I legit wouldn’t mind if the whole episode was just Miggy reunion feels...)

But really we need and will most likely get this no matter what’s going down in 4.01...

Juliet in trouble 

I think this is one of the most obvious ones. 

I wrote about this back when the whole “riding off into the sunset” thing was a thing, like how I didn’t think they’d actually have Juliet leave. But if they did they just HAD to do an episode with her getting into trouble over-seas and the boys coming to her rescue. Since I was wrong and they did have Juliet and  go with Ethan, this just means there is a chance for this plot to become real! 

It would go something like; Juliet gets herself into trouble in Kenya and Magnum fly across the world to save her, fighting bad guys and just being all around super cool. We get a dramatic almost dying for each other and Miggy reunion. 

But with Higgy having been kidnapped just a few episodes ago, I don’t know about the likelihood of this...

Ethan in trouble - Same deal, only here we have Ethan being the one in trouble. Kidnapped to preform a surgery on an weapons’ dealer or something like that. 

We would get high stakes, Magnum/Higgy working together to save E, angsty Magnum because he loves Higgy but he has to save her boyfriend and Juliet having trauma about possibly losing the man she loves. Then maybe have Magnum almost get shot saving Ethan and she’s even more shook about that and decides Magnum is where it’s at and bye-bye Ethan... 

All around I think this one would make for a great 4.01 (or 4.02.)

Spy related

Something to do with Higgy’s past as a spy comes back to haunt her in Kenya. This could lead to a Higgy/ Ethan break up without Magnum or the guys even having to show up. Because I don’t think Ethan is actually cool with dating a spy. As tough guy as he sometimes tried to act around the gang.

Plus spy gadgets are cool and MacGyver is over. Which brings us to...

MacGyver cross over

How amazing would this be... I mean MacGyver is over so it’s highly unlikely but it would be great if we could get Mac, Riley, Boozer making a quick appearance. Just saying, could be fun, and a great way to bring over some MacGyver fans to Magnum PI! (Come to the dark side, we have fancy cars, palm trees and slow-burn...)

Magnum/ Higgy long distance - So this is not something I’d love to see for anything but like one episode. Like starting off the episode with them skyping/facetiming while Magnum is on a case or something and then having it cut to her for some stuff going down with her or Ethan (or just her preferably.) Maybe to set up that possible 4.02 kidnapping of Ethan... These Kenya scenes could also show-case how Ethan and Juliet are basically on the cusp of breaking up...

Juliet / Ethan long distance - Perhaps we get this for part of the season? I hope not, but depending on how they do it, this could be interesting. Maybe like Magnum starts dating someone else? Juliet realizes she’s jelly and that’s not right and breaks up with Ethan but doesn’t tell Magnum and he still thinks they’re long distancing and is dating this new girl? For the drama? IDK. This is not a fave but they might be able to do it to some effect if they want...

Magnum visiting Juliet in Kenya - no one’s been kidnapped and Magnum is just there. Hanging out. Making Juliet miss home. They’re go on safari and picnics and romp in the fields. Ethan is no where to be found. It’s basically a fluffy pre-getting together romantic get away. Maybe they solve a case. A cute one. Maybe for some reason Hiapo is there. And the lads. And the Ferrari...

Looking up and she’s there

Like the first episode Magnum is solving a case, consulting with Higgy. Then sudden she isn’t picking up. He’s getting worried. Then at the end when the case is solved, he’s all “I’m going to call Ethan, to see she’s okay.” But Rick is like “No need bro.” And he nods behind them and Juliet is walking into La Mariana. He couldn’t reach her because she was on a flight to Hawaii for the past 14 hours!

They look at each other and you can just see how much they missed each other. And then it cuts to black before we get their sure to have been epic hug. And that’s how 4.01 ends...

(Maybe we open with that hug in 4.02, because I want the Reunion Hug badly.)

Ethan who? 

So how fun would it be if season 4 just totally ignores the season 3 finale and Higgy is just back. No one is like “welcome back! how’s Ethan?” It’s just like Ethan never existed and we never mention what happened, how they broke up or that he even was part of the show and that she went with him, ever again.

(Because honestly we’re all quite tired of him, even if he got great hair and abs, so him being missing would just be like ‘okay whatever’)

I know they won’t do this. Wouldn’t really want it when there are so many other great fun things (and it would make feel 3.16 feel totally hollow for any future re-watches) and would not let us have a Miggy reunion. But it would be kind of amusing too. Like... Ethan Who? Nope. Let’s just pretend he didn’t even exist.

Things I don’t want (early season 4)

Dead or hurt Ethan (come on! we got one dead fiancé, let’s not add another one)

Ethan breaking up with Higgy (they can mutually decide but he can’t be the one doing the relationship ending, unless it’s made super duper clear he’s doing it because he can totally tell she has more feelings for Magnum. Which would not make sense unless it was something like M getting shot to save E and J or something.)

An Ethan/ Higgy engagement lasting more than 2 minutes

Magnum and the lads still not getting along (come on, we need them to be friends!)

TC/ Rick bringing up feels. Like a little hinting is fine. But just a bit. Don’t be too obvious even if this is going to be the Miggy season (and if it’s not going to be that, don’t have feelings talk at all. My poor heart can’t handle it!)

More visa issues/ Juliet still owning Robin’s Nest and being smug about it/ money issues (Yes. I would like her to use these six months to re-apply for her employment visa and just give Robin back Robin’s Nest. Because the money needing thing was not that fun of a plot line)

Rick and Susie having started dated off screen. They’re so cute. I want to see them being cute and their relationship developing!

What Are We Most Likely To See?

I’m not sure they will actually do a major part of 4.01-2 anywhere but Hawaii. When they’ve had episodes taking place in other locations around the world, there have often been jungle / Hawaii like which makes me think it’s all still filmed in Hawaii right? (correct me if I’m wrong.)

There was however some reason they sent Juliet off with Ethan. I also think there was a reason they had Juliet tell Ethan about MI6. Somehow it will be relevant in season 4. 

Probably early season 4.

I say early since thy won’t drag out Ethan/Higgy’s relationship for long next season. He needs to be used to further the Miggy plot a little more, then keeping him around much longer will simply impact the show negatively too much.

Because if we’re being honest like majority of people watch this show for the Magnum/Higgy dynamic. And I think they know that. (Even if people don’t ship, they still want those two on screen, not Juliet and Ethan.) 

And with the new NCSI Hawaii show coming to film there...I don’t know it that bodes well for season 5 or not. I think they realize they have to move forward.  Treat season 4 as a possible series finale. And that starts with 4.01.

So I’m torn. 

What was the point of Africa if we don’t get an episode or some scenes from there? What’s the point of a separation between our main leads if we don’t get a great reunion? What’s the point of Ethan if not to bring Magnum and Higgy closer together? Magnum going ‘we are currently just friends’ if that’s not going to change or be an issue in the early parts of season 4?

But also, I kind of just want to get back to normal. Hawaii. Miggy banter. Crazy not quite making sense cases. No Ethan. The guys hanging. Kumu being her bad ass self. The Ferrari being red and shiny. Jin being wacky.

So perhaps just having the season start with Magnum being excited Higgy is coming home would be...fine? 

Picture this. 

He’s just hanging with the guys at La Mariana. 

It’s only been four months. 

They’re all like “so four months? Not six? Why she come home early?” and Magnum is all “I guess we’ll find out soon” and gets up to go to the airport to get her. We get a Miggy reunion hug. Some what’s the same, what’s different feeling out moments.

Anyways, they get a case, Magnum try to get her to talk about what happened with her coming home early and at the end of the episode she’s all “I realized he wasn’t the one.” They give each other heart eyes. And we’re just back to normal Magnum PI fun and games (and starting at your currently only friends business partner like s/he’s hung the moon and the stars...) for 4.02. 

I mean that would work... but it would also leave a little to be desired. Feel like some lost opportunities. You know?

4/26/2021 — 4/30/2021

This week felt like an entire MONTH, haha. W and I had a LOT of interactions as it progressed, both brief and prolonged, and it was all in a positive light. Some I don’t even know how to explain, so I won’t include everything. 😳

I won’t keep you waiting any longer. Off to the highlights!!

One thing that pops up in my mind first thing is when W had my and a few other sections lead an exercise for the whole class. Throughout the whole thing, I would look at him every chance I got because…you know. He’s basically a model.

I think he noticed my attention, as he would occasionally stop to stare at me as well throughout the whole playing session.

Pretty soon after this, he told us to sing an exercise out loud so we could pay attention to how we articulated our notes. He decided it would be fun to stand right next to me as it progressed, maybe because of our eye contact earlier.

After one attempt at his request, he was just shy of four feet away from me. He told everyone to sing louder, articulate faster, and pay more attention to where their tongue was hitting inside their mouths.

Challenge accepted.

I did as W said and began to sing more loud and precisely. Right when the second rep began, he didn’t even try to mask his attention on me. His head was dipped low with a serious glow in his looming eyes, under furrowed eyebrows. I mirrored his face and his head’s position with a deeply concentrated and challenging expression, relaxing my brows in a more intense manner as well.

We remained unblinking and frozen as we gazed at each other, all despite my moving tongue as I articulated, and the unconscious smirk growing on my face.

When I felt the most in control, sitting perfectly still, focusing on nothing but W’s eyes, The firmness of his gaze faltered slightly. His serious expression began to fall into one more of…intimidation? I’ve never seen that side of him before.

This slightly fearful switch lasted for a second until he swiftly returned to his regular level of composure, which meant he was staring me down once again.

This interaction only lasted four seconds, but it felt like four whole minutes.

He turned away just before the exercise ended to tell the class it sounded better. He stammered and giggled just slightly before cheerfully stating that we would be doing this again. Wonder why he was so cheerful? Haha.

There was this specific wave W would always give to me. One arm would extend straight outwards whether it be up or to the side, and his fingers would fold as if he were holding a cone inside them. His fingers would wiggle a little bit to compensate for his unmoving arms. You could call it an erect finger-wave, I guess.

Although, despite this, there was one moment that contradicts my statement.

I approached him and greeted him as he was turned around. “W?” I asked. Immediately he turned his body over to me and looked at me with big, curious eyes.

When I opened my mouth to ask him a question, he interrupted me with a small, adorably shy wave. I couldn’t help but feel myself get weak over how cute this guy was. I waved back and muttered a ‘hi’.

We kept staring at each other wordlessly for a few moments until I regained my train of thought and spoke up once again.

I was walking back from putting my instrument case away, then I encountered W saying goodbye to another student. He was playfully kidding around with them by mimicking their low-voiced ‘bye’. After he repeated that while watching the kid leave, probably embarrassed, he glanced at me with a smile.

I stepped close to him until our faces were somehow six inches apart. I think he may have leaned in to listen, I’m not sure. Anyway, his overconfident face was one of pride and power. His lip curved into a smirk and his eyes shined, revealing a hint of mischief and dominance.

Regardless of this man’s godly facial appearance in that setting, I continued with my own smug statement. “You love making fun of people, don’t you?”

He merely smirked a bit more and turned around as if he was avoiding the question. I watched him walk away, dumbfounded and lifting an eyebrow.

This man has many sides to him. It’s a little bizarre.

As I have mentioned, I’ve been helping W out with some band stuff after school. It was awesome getting to spend time with him and learn more about what he does every day as a band director. One of the days I was assisting, I ran into him whenever I was on the phone with someone (it was on speaker), and he just looked surprised.

Though I was still on the line, I asked him if he needed help with the pretty loaded white box he was carrying. He politely declined then thanked me for my help that night after passing me, seeing that I was heading out.

“Sure!” I responded. It was pretty nice hearing that thanks from him. A few moments later I looked back at him in curiosity. He looked down inside his box, then bumped it slightly, like one would do with a baby.

It was so cute.

As I walked to put my tuba away, I began to eavesdrop on W and a couple kids talking.

“When I wasn’t fat, I ran 5 miles every day,” I specifically heard him exclaim. While others found it humorous, the statement caused many questions to pop up in my head.

He’s not fat, what the heck is he talking about?

Maybe he got bigger at some point as a kid?

Or maybe he really does think he’s fat right now?

…Is he insecure about his weight?

With these questions swirling around in my mind, I opened my case to pack my tuba in it. The surrounding conversation died down during the process.

Around a minute later, he started working on his laptop, relocating to his usual spot by the table near the tuba stands.

This time he stood in the corner closest to the podium, facing forward (my right).

I slowly strolled up and didn’t need to greet him, because I noticed he turned towards me. He was slightly tense for some reason. After stopping about a foot away, I gave him a serious and empathetic look.

“You’re not fat. Be quiet,” I told him.

He gave me a look like he was equally disturbed as he was intrigued. Like he didn’t know what I was talking about, and I was crazy for thinking this way.

It was also kind of like how someone would look at a person with three heads.

“I’m not what I used to be.” He replied genuinely and quietly, maintaining the serious eye contact.

“You look fiine,” I hesitated slightly before PATTING HIS RIGHT SHOULDER ONCE WITH MY LEFT HAND AS HE TURNED WEST.

He smiled a subtle amount when I did this and didn’t tense up or anything whenever I touched him, even though we had never really made physical contact purposefully before.

"Oh, Air Condition, thank God! It's hotter than a roasted pig on a skewer out there." Olivia Benson's laugh is light and airy as we enter the restaurant. "Oh, Amanda, I love your expressions, don't ever change. Seriously your southern drawl is so cute. Don't ever lose it."

"No worries, Olivia; it's been nearly ten years since I moved to New York. I haven't lost it yet." "Thanks again for coming down south with me. It means a lot."

"Your welcome Amanda, are you feeling any better since this weekend?" Shaking the soreness out of my weary bones I feel a yawn snaking up my jawlines as I try to fight it off to no avail, the yawn is relentless in its attempt to escape.

"A little thanks I am still tired and nausea I don't know why I slept all weekend, yet I still feel dizziness not as much as this weekend, but I am still weakened almost as if I am drained of all energy." Sliding into the booth, I lean back against the cool plastic backboard. "I'm sorry for calling out on you this weekend, Captain."

"Amanda, please, stop don't worry about it your health is too important don't apologize." "I am sorry, Liv, not just for this weekend, but now we're both away from NYC."

"Because your dad passed away, Amanda, we're not here on vacation. Kat and Fin understand, and Chief Garland sent two detectives to help out, SVU is covered. Please take some of this concern and apply it to yourself; you lost your dad. I know you haven't been close to him in years, but he is still your dad, give yourself the allowance to mourn, Amanda. Don't hide your emotions down and pretend that everything is perfectly fine."

"I don't think it's hit me yet, Olivia. I just don't feel anything." Olivia's hand slips over my hand as we lay them on the table, waiting on the waitress to come over to us. "It will Amanda, I don't know when sweetie, it may take weeks, days, months, but it will hit you. I just want you to know that I am here, honey, whenever you want to talk."

"Thank you, Liv; I appreciate this jester I know we haven't always been close, but I love the friendship that has been built over the last four years." "As do I Amanda. I love the trust that we've built within each other, the respect. Where is the waitress?"

"Liv, it's the south; we take our sweet time with everything, ain't no rushin' in the country life."

"Oh well, how sweet of you, Ms. Betsy, so very kind of you thank you, how did you hear about my daddy's passing per se? We didn't put it in the Tribune or online."

Both of us laugh, "How did you find out, darlin?"

"Oh, you know this little thing called HIPPA they like to notify the Next of Kin, and since my parents you know divorced many moons ago, that would make me the eldest child his next of kin, since he hasn't gotten to remarry yet."

"Speaking of kin-folk dear, where is that sister of yours? She straighten her life out yet? Kimberly coming on her own?"

"No, Ma'am, I'm afraid she ain't gonna make it, you know the whole being in jail thing it kind of puts a cramp on a person's freedom. Thank you so much for coming over though, I sure don't want to keep you."

I don't give her a chance to answer quickly, sliding back into the booth turning to Olivia. Just as our waitress comes over. "good afternoon- honey pies, what can I get you ladies?" after we order, I lean back as Olivia starts to laugh, unable to hold in her amusement over Ms. Rose any longer. "So that's how news travels down south Captain." eagle eyeing Betsy across the room, I can already see she's on her cell phone. "Well, the whole damn town will know I am back soon enough." "that has to be frustrating, Amanda." "Oh, Liv, you ain't got a clue. Every day dealing with women like, is there any doubt about why I got out of here faster than a bat out of hell."

I stay silent about the other reason I left Georgia as soon as I was old enough my sexuality there's no room for differences here in the good old south. No way could I tell Olivia this though she has no idea I am a lesbian. "So, is your Mom coming?" "Lord, no Liv she's up in NY taking care of Mason, Mama said she was sorry the son of a bitch died, but she dumped his ass years ago, let his new hussy handle the affairs."

"Amanda, I am so sorry." "Don't be Olivia, I am fine." "Of course you are." I don't reply not because I don't have the response in me but because the doors burst open and a vast mass of people come pouring into the already packed diner.

"Amanda! It is true! You are back!" Tommy Jake Edwards "TJ" calls out "Yo Ms. Betsy Jane was right boys. Good Ol Rollins is back in town." there are rumblings from the entire group of men "Liv meet the former jocks of Loganville High School Pyro Red Devils who ruled LHS's halls from 1996-1999."

"Rollins, how can you sneak back into town and say nothing? Yo, Rollins, that is rude! I thought we were your boys!"

"Bump that T-rolls, I am pissed forget these clowns, I am your cousin! Uncle Jimmy is my kin-folk too. Where's my love?"

"Hey, Jensen, I just got back into town like literally ten minutes ago. I'm sorry it's been crazy these last few days. My head is still spinning. I haven't told anyone yet, sorry, truly."

Jensen's arms wrap around me tightly. "No worries, cuz. I got you. I am sorry I know you and your Pa wasn't close but damn it still sucks." "Thanks, Jensen, yeah, it does."

Coming out of his hug, I'm met by his brother Blake who I hug as tightly. "Yo boys will catch you later going to hang with family." the rest of the crew waves blowing me kisses as Liv, and I make room for these two. "Hi. I'm Olivia Benson, Amanda's boss, and friend."

"Oh honey-child we know who you are, we've heard all about you now haven't we Blake?" "Oh, yes, Yes, we have well let us introduce ourselves since Miss. Amanda has the manners of a pig. I am Blake Yankee; Jensen is my twin brother; our Mama is Amanda's dad sister."

"Were you three close growing up?" "Oh, tighter than chili papers, Mama, us, and our uncle TC's kids, our cousins Alonso and Scottie, are coming in tomorrow." "They called us the Rollin- Yankee-Terrors." Sipping my sweet tea, I groan, remembering all the names the seven of us use to get growing up. "don't tell her that she is my boss."

"Oh relax Junebug, it ain't like I told her about the time you put laxatives in Ernie Reynaldo's cornbread when you were ten and locked him in the outhouse for the whole day and told our teacher he ran away to the circus."

Olivia laughs so loudly. I feel my temperature rise in my face. "You what?" my face buries into the palms of my hands. "Yo, boy, that was nothing. Remember when we were twelve, and Kyle Kane told Manda she was uglier than a burnt barn, she took his pants and underwear while he was changing and threw it into the river."

Both boys bang on the table laughing, shoving each other as Olivia arched an eyebrow in my direction "Oh, yeah I do, she let the anger seethe inside all week till Saturday when the whole town was gathered for the annual fishing competition. When Kyle's dad was with the reporter for Atlanta news, Kyle comes walking bare-ass naked; the entire town saw him walking his little dude swinging in the breeze. Kyle was grounded for months. "

My embarrassment only increases as I lay my head down, groaning while all three laugh. "Oh, God, even as a kid, Amanda, you were a rule-breaker and a little shit-head." I feel Olivia's hand stroke mine laughing as she hangs her head down tears running down her face, which a lovely rose color.

I only pick my head up when the food arrives, feeling my whole body shiver and jolt as I lean back, smelling the greasy food. Reaching for the ketchup, I pop a fry in my mouth. I still can't shake this feeling of being drained or the tightness in my head.

"Oh My." another voice pops into my world as I see Mr. Jason Axson and Mrs. Janet Axson coming in with their two kids Christopher 17, Savannah 14. her voice cuts through the air. "How are you, Sugar?' "I am just peachy; thank you, just enjoying dinner with my family, here."

"Oh, of course, we don't mean to interrupt. You could use the food; obliviously, you are mighty thin sugar. Your daddy was right; they are working your tail to its bone up there in that big city unless you are sick again, darling."

"No Ma'am, I am right as a peach as I said, but I am trying to enjoy my dinner." "Yeah, Janet let these nice folks eat; worry about our own family; I do apologize, Miss. Amanda lovely to see you again, we shall pop in at another time."

Olivia's eyes stare right into mine. I know she's wondering about the "Are you sick again" line my face flushes as I look down, avoiding her eyes and the question. Another part of my past she has no idea about, My stomach rolls as I think about all the secrets and pressures I have on top of me, none of which Olivia needs to add to her plate.

"I need to use the bathroom, I'll be back, excuse me." getting up I start to head there, of course, a two-minute walk becomes ten as I am stopped by multiple people offering their condolences. My back hits the wall just as another wave of dizziness hits me; I do everything inside of me not to show it to anyone, I can see Olivia's eyes on me from across the room. Yet it isn't Olivia who catches my attention, rare I know.

This time, Savannah's voice so young, scared, and nervous. I am standing right next to their table as I hear Savannah say. "Mama, Daddy, I have something to tell you." Savannah's beautiful emerald eyes glisten as she stares at her parents. "I am a Lesbian, and I plan to come out this weekend at the prom."

Savannah's courage freezes me. I am forty and don't have the courage she has at fourteen-years-old. I can't think fast enough to react before her mom is out of her chair, smacking Savannah across her face. "You are not gay! Stop your lying, you fifthly whore! Who put these lies in your head? You are a good girl, a good baptist girl. Take it back!"

"No Mama, I can't I won't because I am gay, and yes I am a good girl, I am a baptist and MVP for the last two years in all the southern regions. I will play at college, and I will go pro, and my sexuality won't stop me from doing any of that."

"Fool, of course, it will, but you won't have to because you are not gay!"

"Mama, I am please just listen to me. Stop being such a bitch."

Her dad jumps up, grabbing at Savannah as I react, finally racing towards Savannah as Jason starts yelling. "Don't talk to your mother that way! Ever! No daughter of mine will be a sinner! I could deal with you being pregnant, not this! This is unforgivable. You either get over this phrase you little slut or you are OUT OF THIS FAMILY! Let's go now, Christopher, Janet leave her."

I hurry towards Savannah, who is trying with her whole body to remain strong as her family walks out. I know her face is stinging from the assault, but it's nothing like the pain in her soul. The rest of the restaurant sits there, not offering to help just turning to their families. My hands connect to Savannah's as I help her sit down "Sweetie, I am so sorry that your parents reacted to you."

"It's okay, ma'am, I excepted this. It was so so stupid-crazy to even except for any different outcome."

"No honey, it isn't it's not crazy or stupid to except unconditional love from your family; that's what parents are supposed to do. Of course, you wanted to tell them living in secrets, hiding who you are, it's exhausting. The if only or what-ifs or the I should have's, they take their tolls."

"It's 2020, not 1990 times have changed; maybe the south should catch up." My hands rub Savannah's back softly. March TC Challenge

Day 1: What are your TC's hobbies?

Sports and working out definitely, and reading?

Day 2: What are 1-3 songs that remind you of your TC?

Crazy In Love by Sofia Karlberg, Wish I Was Better by Kina, and Love Me Right by EXO

Day 3: What are your TC's favorite bands?  

I have no idea but he doesn’t really seem to like pop music?

Day 4: What was the funniest thing your TC did?

There was once he walked out of the teacher’s room holding a banana in his hand, looked down at the banana, became confused, did a 180 and walked back, and when he came out again, he was still holding a banana and I have no idea why but it was the funniest thing in the world.

Day 5: How are their lessons? Give a grade and tell us why you chose it.

8/10? Like his teaching is flawless (at least to me lmao) but the subject is so hard sometimes and I’d have no idea what’s happening but it’s not his fault. I love how he likes to tell us his personal experiences and opinions and often makes things quite humorous which really helps me.

Day 6: What is your TC's greatest talent?

Like, teaching, probably?? It sounds weird but other than sports I can’t really think of anything (he is a great writer though). He teaches so well and manages to make a slightly boring subject so vibrant and a bit easier to understand and manage.

Day 7: What cheesy scenario do you most imagine them in?

Ugh I often just imagine us talking about anything and everything and it’d be so great, or walking home when it starts to rain and him appearing on his motorcycle... I’m hopeless yeah.

Day 8: Do you want to tell them your feelings? If yes, when and how?

I do, but I’m terrified of what happens next. If I still feel this way when I graduate, and if we can’t keep in contact anymore, then maybe I will tell him. I won’t have anything to lose. Bring him a goodbye and thank you gift on our last day, and then just tell him, because by then it would have been almost four years. I want these four years to end properly.

Day 9: What did you do after you realized that you’re in love with your TC?

I don’t think there was a specific moment when it hit me, I was actually quite calm about it. I have had many TCs before, so it didn’t really scare me.

Day 10: What was the first reaction of your friends/parents/persons when you told them about your feelings?

The first time I told one of my friends she was like “I kind of guessed” as she knew I had TCs before and she was very supportive, my closer friends now just kind of guessed when I started to talk about T with them and saying how handsome he is.

Day 11: Have you ever seen them during vacation (holiday break, summer break, etc.)?

No.

Day 12: What type of person are they?

He looks serious and slightly intimidating but he’s so good to us all, he teaches well and in a not boring way, he doesn’t seem to have very close friends here in the school but gets along well with most people.

Day 13: Is your TC married? Do they have children or pets?

He is married, no kids but they have a really cute dog.

Day 14: What is the cutest thing they told you?

T has a lot of super cute moments, there was that time when we were preparing for the dance, another teacher asked if someone can do a short solo and my friends all pointed to me, and he said something along the lines of “I like how you just all threw her under the bus, like ‘yeah, yeah, J can do it’.” The way he said it was so cute, that was also the first time he (mistakenly) called me by my nickname.

Day 15: What would you do if your TC was drunk and said they loved you?

I probably wouldn’t believe it because it would be so improbable, and I wouldn’t bring it up to him when he’s sober, but I might keep it in mind if we still get to further interact as normal.

Day 16: If you could write a song about your TC, what would be the title? 

‘Alive’. Because being in love with him always reminds me that I’m alive.

Day 17: How are your grades in their class?

Top of the class grades probably, it has fallen slightly recently but I’m determined to change that.

Day 18: How did you come up with their codename on your blog? Is it an initial, a nickname, etc.?

Initial, and because I like this letter lol.

Day 19: What would you wear on a first date with them?

I guess it would depend on when and where the date was, but what first came to mind was either a stylish T-shirt and jeans/shorts or a white blouse with a checkered skirt.

Day 20: What are 3 things you want to tell them about yourself?

I wish he knew how much I fought to be better in his subject, that I do more consistently achieve well in other subjects, and I guess just some of my hobbies that I think he’ll be impressed with.

Day 21: Is there a celebrity that looks like your TC?

Thomas Gibson?? But not really...

Day 22: Are there any other students who make you jealous when they talk to your TC?

The front row girls I guess, they’re closer to him in proximity so he interacts with them more. And the way he smiles at some of the older students... *sad TCC noises*

Day 23: If you were to marry your TC, could you ever imagine having children with them?

Even if assuming we’re of similar age, probably not? I don’t think I would really want to have children, but he would make a great dad.

Day 24: When did you start your blog and what inspired you to do so?

I started the blog last October after hearing of its existence from YouTube, and I just feel so much more accepted and understood here and it’s been great.

Day 25: What’s your favorite TCC song of all time?

I don’t really listen to TCC specific songs, but one which gives me TCC vibes would probably be Crave or Demons?

Day 26: How long have you known your TC? Was it love at first sight?

He had been in the school for a few years before teaching me and I really got to know him, then it took a few months after that for it to hit me and I fall in love lol.

Day 27: If there was anything you could do or say to make them yours, what would it be?

I am so not good at announcing my love or trying to make someone mine lmao, I would probably just genuinely tell him how deep my feelings for him are and how he has utterly influenced my life.

Day 28: Imagine you're graduated and you’re in a relationship with your TC. You told your parents about your relationship but they don’t support you. what would you do?

Unless this is in an ideal world then they are most likely right, I know we would never last together even if we had a relationship, so I probably just wouldn’t care. I would savour all the time we had together and treasure all the good things and good memories, and have to accept that we would part one day, perhaps sooner than ‘normal’ people.

Day 29: What is the most embarrassing thing your TC has done?

None that I know of really, that dance we all had to do before Christmas was pretty cringe but he seemed to have fun and it was so cute.

Day 30: Has your TC ever written you a note on an assignment or sent an unprecedented email? if so, what did it say?

No, but his comments on my book or essays are usually quite nice, making me want to achieve even better every time.

Day 31: If you could do absolutely anything with your TC, what are 10 things you'd do?

Play sports, watch sports, play guitar and sing together, cook, watch a sunrise/sunset while in each other’s arms, quietly do separate work in the same space, walk together in matching suits, share life stories, do a debate as teammates, and just gently kiss in the darkness and be in love.

Day 16 ✿ Sep 30 ‘20

I’ve felt the best I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I’m not sure why I’m just finally happy with myself. Last year and the year before that and probably all the years I’ve been on earth life has been painful and hard all the pain I’ve gone through plaguing me every day. Life is just Finally coming together and it just feels amazing. For the first time I can cry and smile afterwards. I have interests and I feel embarrassing excitement without feeling guilty. Life has just been so hard but I guess all the hurt and anguish I’ve been through is correcting itself and I can finally be happy. The kind where theres no strings attached. That wasn’t tc related I just wanted you all to know that it gets better. After alllllllooooooottttttttttt of self reflection and growth though. Like I couldn’t be where I’m at without having an open mind or whatever that sounds really corny and it’s like always said but if you find a way to make it true in your own little way and for yourself it’s true and like at the end of the day life isn’t gonna be fantastic or amazing it’s gonna be alright with amazing moments and unbelievably hard times but in those hard times there will be good after just like with the good. Life doesn’t fix itself life is your actions and decisions and sometimes your wrong sometimes your actions which are pure lead you into darkness. But it can’t be avoided it can only be confronted. Ok yesterday was like crazy so I couldn’t talk about my class with D but here we go. So I entered class and he went “nice to see you M” and I was like estatic cause he doesn’t really say hi to people directly. Then we were like talking and discussing podcasts and Latin root words. I’m happy in the class I mean sometimes it’s annoyingly slow. So slow to the point that I’m UNNATRACTED TO HIM. But I also enjoy it a bunch. Then my mom walked in and she looked at my screen and went “hey I know that architectural design.. I’ve been to that apartment complex” and I was like “DAVINKY”! Lmao life is funny. I really enjoyed it:))))(14:01)

I practiced golf today with my dad and enjoyed it a lot. I’m already pretty strong. My body isn’t athletic but it’s like muscular(especially my legs there f-ing huge (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞) but it felt really good to swing the club. I loved how it felt to stretch with the club too. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, IMAGINE PLAYING GOLF WITH D AHHHHHHHHHH. He seems like a golf guy. I’m pretty sure he’s from Massachusetts(Not really personal info cause like alot of people R from Massachusetts) besides this I’m excited in general for golf if you haven’t noticed lmao. By the time school starts golf season will be like just starting so I get to start the season fresh and like not on a zoom. I’m really excited like SUPER EXCITED I’ve had some of my best memories on the field or hanging out with my dad just talking about it and swinging the club. I’m so happy to have him tomorrow. I have Algebra tho and I have not done anything since Tuesday so like peepeepoopoo check （♡⌂♡）shit be hard as fuck smh. Magnum PI 3.06 - The Day Danger Walked In

Where do I even begin with this episode?

Once more this was just an overall enjoyable episode with all my favorite bits! Miggy, fun side plot for the guys, (though I missed the Ferrari and beautiful Hawaii aerial shots…)and once more a totally coincidental very dangerous situation because of mostly bad luck.

I think I’m going to start with the last one.

This episode features the second full episode of hostage-by situations we’ve gotten this season. What else have we had this season - 5 episodes in? Well, let’s see the two robbery/hostage episodes, Higgy being shot. A plane crash. Now Ethan getting shot. (Plus the weird stalker in the white SUV.) 3.04 was the only really case-like ‘normal’ episode we’ve had!

Everything is a bit higher stakes this season (we also got the Juliet/Ethan thing, suddenly giving us some emotional “danger”, making us wonder how this will impact Magnum and Higgins’ relationship.) Danger is around every coroner. So ride out a hurricane in peace? Nope, forget it!

And while I very much enjoy the higher stakes, it starts becoming a little unbelievable (what? A TV show being unbelievable?). But it’s more the coincidences of how things go from ‘bad’ to ‘OMG’ that sometimes get to me. How is it they can’t even go for a green card interview in peace? 10 minutes earlier of an appointment time, that episode would not have existed. Like being trapped in a storm isn’t enough, we gotta add armored car robbers! The probability of them picking La Marianna is just so small it annoys me a bit.

I do enjoy it more when Magnum and Higgins are on a case and that leads them into danger. Being shot or crashing a plane because you went out and looked for trouble makes sense (even if it’s very unbelievable too I know…) Danger just happening… it’s a little bit of lazy writing in my opinion. I mean wasn’t it enough that the storm warning came just as Ethan had arrived but not before they had time to leave on their date? That alone is a fairly big coincidence... 

I mean I still really enjoyed this episode. It wasn’t all hostage but a lot of stuff around it, and it was more of a backdrop. Something to cause problems that had to be solved by various people working together and thus showing off their dynamic and letting them interact (such as Ethan and Magnum with the gas + talk about Higgy, Magnum/Higgy/Ethan when he was shot, Kumu/ Shammy and even Ethan/Higgy a little.)

All the relationship stuff is really what this episode is all about. We got TC and Rick moments (with Thomas being a little bit of confidant) about trust and being partners, Ethan/Higgy/Magnum - how does Ethan fit in stuff, separate from that some Miggy feels and Juliet asking/hoping Thomas and Ethan if they can be friends because she thinks her and Ethan might get serious and just all around through-out the episode Juliet being quite worried about what Thomas thinks of her boyfriend. 

Yet while we got a lot of stuff going on (some quite coincidental), still it felt like just the right amount of everything. A bit of Ethan, some jealous Magnum, not too much case, just enough fun and games and crazy to make it never boring and some good heart to heart feel-y moments to give some pay off towards the end. It’s like they finally found their groove this season and almost every episode just feels like it’s really working on all levels!

My fave moments

I had some favorite moments; Gordon going “She really wanted that power saw” about Juliet when they were putting up boards at the beginning. She really did and it was so fun. I love when Higgy doesn't get what she wants and is a bit salt-y with someone other than Thomas...

Magnum being all “It’s like me dating a client!” Um hello excuse me but did you not ask out Mitten’s the cat’s owner? (Well her mom, if we’re being technical?) Sure it’s totally about Ethan having been Higgy’s doctor…

Juliet being all “Thomas likes you fine” but then becoming suddenly super observant of how he acts and then realizing he’s not fine with it? Going so far as to actually start on a “Ethan seems to think-” before Magnum interrupts with dead security guard photos.

Magnum actually admitting he’s not sure how to share Higgy with Ethan...

Rick being tormented by the fact that he lied to TC.

Juliet drying off Ethan and handing Magnum a towel and the way he smiles and then looks so forlorn! It’s just so...I don’t know but it gives me feels and I need gifs.

The last two minutes are my favorite. From Higgy showing up, Rick sending her over to paint with Magnum, her being all ‘looks fine’ ‘liar’, her thanking him for being nice but admitting “it was really stupid” about Ethan rushing in and getting shot. That was just amazing. 

That whole end bit was just so pure and sweet and my poor baby face when she’s all “it’s pretty serious, I want you guys to be friends”. Someone hug him.

(Also who taught you how to paint? You’re just painting in the same spot over and over again!! I know it’s about them having a moment but I’m low-key annoyed on Rick’s behalf on them both sucking at it!)

Speaking of annoyed… (Ethan rant-ish bits up) 

I’m not sure how I feel about Ethan being shot and all of them being locked in a freezer (I know would have preferred a Magnum/Higgy locked in a freezer and it’s very cold story-line...but you know, we take what we can get). Him being shot felt very random and I think we almost could have just done without it? Like he could have been smacked with a gun and had a head wound. I mean I guess the only reason for him getting shot in the leg is to make sure Juliet doesn't end up going ice skating with him… (Or to make sure we don’t have to see him while he’s getting his leg back in working order... )

What was that anyways?

Ethan plans on taking Higgy ice skating and we learn that Juliet has apparently never been from Magnum. A) Why do I love that Magnum just know this, like they talked about it? B) What respectable English person has never been ice skating? C) If Ethan knew she’d never been, why would he suggest it? Unless she asked to go. I mean I get maybe he was hoping for a cute ‘trust me, I won’t let you fall’ sort of situation, but he’s been on a number of dates with Higgy by now. He must know how she hates being well... not the best at something (everything...) Going skating was not really a good plan.

Also who the heck goes ice skating in HAWAII!!! I mean come on Ethan! You’re a doctor, you’re supposed to be smart. Why not have a romantic beach picnic, much better chances of something fun going down… I’m just saying. 

Anyways, I honestly don’t know what to feel about Ethan. I like that he seems nice and not threatened by Magnum (well, for now, spend another few hours with them, you might not be so chill…) and sees that working with him is important to Juliet. Frankly I just hope things get serious with them, but in the end Juliet realizes he’s not for her and just breaks up with him because she wants to. Not because he’s a bad guy working for evil SUV guy or because does something awful. Just because while she likes him, she doesn't feel like he’s the one. Since this season seems to be drama-drama I think something dramatic is bound to happen… but I guess we’ll see!

In Conclusion

I loved it, but was a bit annoyed at some parts. I feel like everything is just flowing so well this season and I can’t wait to see how the big bad turns out and the Ethan thing and La Marianna and just all around I’m more invested in everything.

Next week’s episode looks very exciting! I’m excited for some dramatic (yet we took this case so it’s not that unrealistic) stuff going down. Kidnappings and Miggy freaking out when ‘tragedy occurs’ (and maybe having some moments).
