Did you know that if we all spent just £100 each through small local business instead of giant chains, we would pump an extra £3 million into the economy?? We would also create 1000's of jobs! I'm just going to say it....I HATED black Friday. It is just a huge con which makes us buy things we wouldn't normally buy. Social media was grim last week and brimming with codes and pressure to by more cheap crap that we just don't need! This is why I am pledging to #shopsmall & #shoplocal for the majority of my Christmas pressies. I will of course go to the odd high street store, but I will also take pride in buying beautiful handmade products from people who are trying to make a living doing what they love. I made a start on Saturday and bought the cutest little bag from @holliberries_ Look how lush it is!?
