There is something very weird happening to hobbies because of tiktok, imo. People can't have multiple hobbies, they have their thing they do and only do that and they then monetize it. I've seen tiktoks of people being like "omg I want to try [hobby] but I'm already doing [different hobby] and can't get into it" as if they cannot dabble with multiple hobbies. It's like they need to be marketable within their hobby, that this hobby has somehow become part of their personality. Crochetok, booktok, coffeetok, and so many more.
who needs a full night of sleep when you can comp that with a cup of instant coffee that has 2 cup’s worth of instant coffee powder, a double shot hazelnut cappuccino and a double espresso? the caffeine varieties are endless
