astro observations pt 9
*solar return edition*
sun conjunct jupiter seem to absolutely thrive that year, they seem to well and truly find themselves, and who they are when maybe they were restricted before.
quite obvious, but i always found looking back if i have 50%+ aspects being harsh in my solar return chart, the year is very tough. i've also seen this w my friends chart aswell.
in turn, if it is mainly harmonious aspects the year is all round very good!
venus conjunct jupiter also seem to have such a great sense of style this year, and that being a focus. i have also seen them form and maintain some amazing friendships.
4h stellium manifests in different ways, but one way is attachment issues. maybe you really struggle being separate from your family this year, or maybe you feel guilt and that you constantly need to be with them.
sagittarius rising is a big travel indicator.
moon in 8th could show you are healing from something emotionally traumatic.
moon in 4th see family as a priority that year.
NN conjunct mc/ mars conjunct mc/ mars conjunct NN tend to be very ambitious this year, and put a lot of effort into succeeding. this could be within a career, or anything that works in hand with that professional status eg university.
jupiter in the houses whilst showing abundance, could also represent a fear of lacking such, eg jupiter in 11h may fear not making friends (even though they end up making loads).
aqua on dc can represent a large switch up romantically, like multiple talking stages, or maybe it feels a bit 'all over the place'. it could mean breakups. it may also indicate online being a huge factor romantically as well.
leo risings tend to grow in confidence a lottt that year.
charts where most (if not all) planets are in houses 1-6 tend to be more focused on yourself, your mental health, your priorities etc. you may feel lonely, but your priority is you. you may hide yourself, not necessarily physically (but can be), your personality, your hobbies etc.
in turn, charts where most (if not all) planets are in houses 7-12 tend to be focused on others. this could be friends or partners, or maybe even others perception of you. you may also compare yourself a lot. you also show so much of yourself.

✩ Aquarius and pisces moon's can get annoyed with others for no reason, they might even beat themselves up over it. I’ve noticed with these individuals (unless strong 4H placements are involved or cancer) that they tend to not like people who are constantly in their vicinity 24/7, especially friends or lovers, these people rlly enjoy their personal space and alone time so they recharge their social battery as well as their tolerance for others.
✩ Aqua and Pisces moons may also feel that they can’t be their real selves around others, this authentic version of them may only truly be revealed to family members or a very close friend or lover. This could also add to the need to be alone as they could feel no one will ever understand them, their mind, mannerisms and behaviour. It’s like they want someone to pick apart their brain and understand who they are at their core but at the same time they’re afraid of letting others into their internal world.
✩ North Node in the 7th house seems like a difficult placement for the NN to be in. NN in the 1st house would symbolise finding your direction in life independently, therefore being encouraged to rely on oneself. North Node in the 7th house is quite the opposite, in the worst cases, I've seen it manifest in individuals who feel like they're incomplete without a romantic life partner and never properly heal, jumping from one person to the next in order to not be alone. Positively, this placement can indicate being encouraged to work with other people and to develop deep connections to others as with SN in the 1st, you may be more inclined to do things your way. NN in the 7th pushes you in the direction of compromise and balance within relationships.
✩ Chiron and Neptune in the 3rd house can indicate troubles with speaking (speech impediment, afraid of speaking in front of a group of people etc).
✩ Chiron and Neptune in the 3rd can also show early childhood bullying or being purposefully left out/made fun of by other kids your age. I've seen quite a few people with this placement deal with this, and years later they develop social anxiety and in worst cases agoraphobia :(
✩ Going back to the first point of Chiron/Neptune- they may have felt stupid or "slower" than other kids their age when it came to school further adding to the sense of unease and anxiety when it comes to school or dealing with their peers.
✩P.S I love you Chiron/Neptune in 3H individuals ❤️, yall are so strong and you are smarter than you realise 🙏
✩Venus/Sun/Moon/Mars in the 5th house start getting into/doing more creative hobbies. Idc if it's music, writing, poems, acting, knitting, painting, dancing, fashion hell even sculpting and becoming a DJ, JUST DO ITTT. Trust you are blessed with a mind that inclines to the creative side, use this please esp if the moon is in the 5th house it will heal your inner child. Mars here could show you feeling energised from creative pursuits and hobbies, a creative career could be well-suited. Even if you don't pursue a creative career, or (from what some of these people have told me 😭) don't consider yourself creative, do anything where you can add your own twist and opinion to it. Even if you don't think so or see it yourself, others will definitely be able to see the emotion/innovation/vision in whatever you create.
✩Having a lot of placements in the lower hemisphere of the chart especially the 4th house can indicate having an introverted personality.
✩ Furthermore, this can also indicate an individual who has a lot of layers, and it takes a while to get them out of their shell. This or they choose who they want to see the real them, no matter the years you've known them or the closeness.
✩Martian ruled 12H (Scorpio/Aries) or Mars in the 12H can indicate having wild ass dreams. Might involve a lot of fighting, and chasing, honestly it's giving war-zone. Your dreams could be very, very vivid too.
✩ Martian-ruled 12H or Mars in the 12H can also indicate repressing your anger a lot. This could stem from childhood trauma and with Taurus/Sag in the first (Whole signs), you could've felt bad expressing your anger, being taught it's not a good thing to show outward. With Taurus in the 1st this could show developing a put-together and calm demeanor since a young age and not wanting to break that peace wall you have built up. With Sag in the 1st this could show wanting to or being taught to come across as happy all the time or only being positive. Sometimes I've even noticed these individuals would rather come across as wild, carefree and happy than ever admit or show their more...plotting side 😈 (scorpio12H)..ig you could say LMAO.
✩Saturn in the 6H could show an individual needing a routine to keep them mentally in check and sane. Without one, they may feel like their whole life is crumbling right in front of them.
✩9H/3H placements can get on with anyoneee I swear. Even if they don't think so or if they are more introverted in nature, others just feel they give off this carefree, relaxed vibe making it easier for conversation and getting to know them. (Unless there's like Pluto on the Ascendant lol or sumn, this placement by itself tho does give off carefree knowledgeable energy).
✩Venus conj Saturn can show your boundaries constantly being tested and the universe sending you the same people in a different font, testing your ability to blindly love others until you get it straight lolll.
✩Saturn conj Venus can also show; dating/attracting older people, those who fuck with you romantically get screwed over eventually #karma, and or being serious about love like only wanting/pursuing relationships that are long-term.
✩Saturn conj Venus can also indicate meeting your "true love" later on in life, and by later I mean whatever point in time it is societally deemed 'oh that's very late to get married' blah blah.
✩These individuals could also just have good standards for what they want from their partner/future spouse (love that for you guys)
✩Back to NN in the 1st, stop serving other people and be of service to yourself!! It's okay to be selfish sometimes.
✩Uranus in the 1H, Aqua asc, yall weird 🤓. You already know that but I just felt the need to reiterate it, love all your little quirks and hyperfixations tho ❤️
✩Mars in the 11H be up to some crazy stuff in the bedroom (notice the Aquarian themes here)
✩Saturn overlaying the 4th house in synastry, 4th house person may feel like the Saturn individual is their 4lifer and can see them staying in their life long-term.
✩Not an observation just a personal opinion, I love people's charts where their planets sprinkle EVERYWHERE in the chart, it's so cool IMO and these people tend to be very balanced and have knowledge on all areas of life. I also don't know why but these charts are rare for me to find. Individuals who have planets in nine different houses is crazy I wanna see your chart.
PS- The astrovations are so back 🙏

I understand if this is outside your field of expertise, but do you think if the ornamentation of the clothing that (some of) the kobolds drawn by Kui wear is inspired by anything?
Actually this is exactly my field of expertise! I studied costume design for about two years in university before switching to something else :) So clothing is something I love looking at and talking about, and fashion history is one of my favorite elements of history in general!
HOWEVER, though I have some experience with subject, I'm not a fully trained expert in the field, and I know that I may not have all the answers, so please take what I say with a grain of salt. This is only my educated guess.
I'm assuming that you're talking about this page from the Daydream Hour book:

To start with, the caption says: "Kobolds that appear in foreign games and fantasy often have a reptilian appearance, but we chose an appearance that is more familiar in Japan." This doesn't tell us anything about their clothing, but I wanted to translate it to make sure it didn't say anything about their culture.
(You can read more about why the Dungeon Meshi kobolds are dogs in the Half-foot chapter of my Dungeon Meshi research project)
Kobolds likely live all over the world, but their large population centers are all located in the Western Continent, so that is probably the region they consider home.
So those two kobolds on the bottom left of the chart, who appear to be wearing European-inspired clothing, are probably living somewhere in the Eastern hemisphere, where Northern/Western/Central/Eastern European clothing is the norm, while the rest are likely from the West. So we can discard the European-looking clothes, since that's probably not a part of the kobold's traditional culture.
We have very limited information about the Western Continent, but these images plus what we know about Kabru (His name and Utaya's name are both South Asian, the dessert that comes from Utaya is South Asian) and the elves (several of them have South Asian names, some elves wear South Asian clothing and bindis) makes me think there's probably a strong Indian/South Asian influence in the Western Continent. It's a large land mass, so I don't think it's all South Asian, but South Asian culture is the only thing we have conclusive evidence of so far.
The majority of the kobolds are wearing brightly colored tunics with patterns on the hems, or what seems to be dresses/tunics made of draped fabric, also with hem decoration.
It IS worth noting that Kui avoids drawing elaborate patterns, even when it would make sense for her to do so. She does it only a couple of times in the manga and uses screentones instead whenever possible. So the simple hem decoration and single color fabric may just be an artistic choice that doesn't mean anything other than "I didn't want to draw a pattern." However, it's all we have to work with, so I'm going to assume it's intentional.
The repeated over-the-shoulder draped fabric the kobolds are wearing seems like it could only be a Greco-Roman style toga, palla, or cloak, or a South Asian saree. We have seen Western elves wearing garments similar to all of these on occasion, though obviously Kui has made some changes. As I say in my essay, I don't think any of the cultures in Dungeon Meshi is an exact copy of a real-world culture, Kui is remixing things together.
(Except for the Island of Wa, which seems to be entirely based on Sengoku-era Japan.)
Roman togas were just large pieces of cloth that they draped around their bodies, and they were usually white, with brown or black reserved for the lower-classes or for use during mourning, and purple or red reserved for extremely important people. Embroidery and trim, if they had it, was usually either very simple (plain colored stripes) or very elaborate (images of people, animals, or things).
So I think that rules out the toga as a possibility.
On the other hand, the saree and dupatta are also large pieces of cloth draped either around the body and over the shoulder (and sometimes the head), and usually they are either a single plain color, a plain color with a decorative trim, or an all-over pattern. This is a lot closer to what Kui draws the kobolds wearing.
(Pictures and more text after the cut)
Toga:
Saree:

The tunics the kobolds are wearing could be many things, as what's visible is not an uncommon neck shape. They could be something like a kurta, kaftan, or abaya (tunic/robe)... And there's probably a dozen other similar garments that I'm neglecting to name.
There are a million variations on the kurta, but these neck styles looks like what Kui is drawing on a couple of those kobolds.
However, some of the tunics COULD also just be a depiction of what is often called a "Viking tunic" or kyrtill (Nordic name for a kirtle or tunic).
However in Dungeon Meshi, the kyrtill is extensively worn in the Eastern hemisphere, primarily by dwarves, tall-men and half-foots. So I don't think the Western hemisphere kobolds are wearing them, and the style of trim looks different to me than what Kui drew.
Kobold fashion could also be influenced by any culture from North Africa, West Asia, or the Middle East, as these are also cultures that appear to dominate the Western hemisphere of Dungeon Meshi, and that have similar fashion cultures involving patterned textiles and draping cloth/veils/head coverings...
However, because of what seems like a large draping cloth over the shoulder, and the combination of trim with a solid color, I think the primary influence is South Asian rather than these other cultures.
I hope that helps! And keep in mind that Kui loves to remix things, so I'm sure there's elements from other cultures that would fit right in with what she's shown us of the kobolds, if you want to get creative with your fan works!

Tropical storms and hurricanes have not increased in number or strength over the 50 years we've had satellites monitoring the weather. If CO2 were increasing the number of storms we'd be able to see if there is a noticeable trend.
This shows the number of tropical storms on the top line and the hurricanes on the bottom. There's no real trend on either.
This shows the accumulated cyclone energy (ACE). Global is on top and the northern hemisphere on the bottom.
ACE estimates the total energy involved in the named storm systems for each year. We can see some years were higher, some lower but again, there's no strong trend up or down.
The media and the global warming alarmists will repeat the usual nonsense about increasing numbers and intensity of storms after Beryl does its thing. They do it after every major storm and then they go quiet after every calm period.
It's one sided reporting to alarm the public and to skew perception to make you believe the world is ending, the weather is your fault, and the only cure is more government.

Funny how God watches out for us.
I was greatly looking forward to driving cross country to the sunstone mine this summer, planning to leave SC in late June/early July, arriving at the mine mid July. I would have flown home the first week of August then fly back out for September. But several family issues have come up, causing me to have to reschedule this trip, much to my initial disappointment But today I checked for what was happening with the Perseid Meteor showers. Here's what I found:
Early to mid-August meteors … the Perseids
Predicted peak: The peak is predicted** for August 12, 2024, at 14:00 UTC. So the mornings of August 11, 12 and 13 are probably your best bet. When to watch: The moon will be a 1st quarter and 50% illuminated during 2024’s peak of the Perseid meteor shower. So the best time to watch for Perseids will be starting around midnight until dawn. This shower rises to a peak gradually, then falls off rapidly. And Perseid meteors tend to strengthen in number as late night deepens into the wee hours before dawn. The shower is often best just before dawn. Radiant: The radiant rises in the middle of the night and is highest at dawn. See chart below. Nearest moon phase: First quarter moon falls at 15:19 UTC on August 12. And a 1st quarter moon sets around midnight, so you’ll have dark skies after then until dawn. Duration of shower: July 14 to September 1. Expected meteors at peak, under ideal conditions: Under a dark sky with no moon, skywatchers frequently report 90 meteors per hour, or more. Note: The August Perseid meteor shower is rich and steady, from early August through the peak. The meteors are colorful. And they frequently leave persistent trains. All of these factors make the Perseid shower perhaps the most beloved meteor shower for the Northern Hemisphere. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The night sky at the mine is unbelievable. It is located in the south Oregon High Desert. My mining partner likes to point out that we are as far from a Walmart as you can get in the lower 48 states. There is no light pollution. Being the high desert, humidity does not hinder the view of the night sky. And being at 4200 feet above sea level makes it even better. On a moonless night, you can see the milky way almost from horizon to horizon. There are more stars than you could ever imagine. It is magical beyond anything a picture could show, beyond what I might try to tell you. And this year, if I can make the timing work out to be at the mine in early mid August, I will be able to watch as the stars appear to play tag, change positions, and shower us with wishes. sharing food
in which we look for connections between venus, the moon, and the bottom half of the chart in scenarios about sharing food

part one: eating out
click here for an easier reading experience (lol sorry)
warnings: brief mention of obsession
word count: 1.8k
golden pt. 2 | berhana ft. mereba
helpful asteroids
ceres (1) – what you need to nourish yourself and how you nourish others; the mother goddess of agriculture
juno (3) – relationship ideals, what commitment looks like for you; the queen goddess of love and marriage
ambrosia (193) – your soul food; the mythical food of the gods that granted a life of immortality
lets you have a bite
|| “use my fork / bite where I just bit”
Person A wants to share, all of Person B’s germs aside
connections between a venutian/saturnian (taurus, libra / capricorn, aquarius) ambrosia, venutian/fire (taurus, libra / aries, leo, sagittarius) mars, and/or martian/saturnian (aries, scorpio / capricorn, aquarius) venus came up a lot as I perused charts for patterns indicative of such intimacy – the affectionate physicality possible at the hands of a taurus mars or aries venus, the flamboyant passions of a leo mars on fire, the fondness towards sharing food found in a libra ambrosia, and the desire to provide in a capricorn ambrosia or venus could all work together to put the concerns of bacteria aside (and also they kind of wanted you to eat off their fork anyway, so)
hard aspects, including conjunctions, between ceres, venus, and juno add a nice dose of intensity in a committed relationship, managing to pull some tension out of these rather romantic placements; when ceres meets venus or juno (a possible higher octave placement of venus), that desire to nurture and nourish runs a bit raw and the parallels between feeding someone as a partner and feeding someone as a mother become more clear: both are based in the strong, multi-faceted feelings of affection and idealistically unconditional love that venus-juno especially craves… so yeah, who cares? use my fork
|| “grab your own utensil”
A is mouth-conscious but still happy to share with B
yes, I did just say a capricorn venus would share forks, why are you asking? well, this is exactly why degrees and houses and aspects matter, because the influence of even the tiniest bit of virgo or 6H energy could flip that last observation on its head: a late capricorn venus, specifically one in the third decan (20°00 to 29°59), could be graced with some stereotypically germaphobic virgo characteristics, as would be a 6° or 18° placement – this would also apply to a capricorn mars in a virgo degree or decan conjunct venus or a trine between venus and a virgo mars; 6H placements are typically concerned with diet, exercise, and the physical body, so they would also apply
if ambrosia aspects ceres in a chart with prominent saturn and/or virgo placements, food-sharing may not demonstrate in the same hyper-affectionate ways we see in romantic media: virgo is notoriously health- and body-conscious and also a touch high-strung, so it may be more prone to setting boundaries around spit-swapping, though this depends on the placements and relationship in question; saturn, on the other hand, may approach attachment in a cooler and slightly distant manner, restricting displays of physical affection; still, ambrosia-ceres can make sharing food an important aspect of how someone approaches their relationships regardless, depending on where it falls in the chart
|| “have my strawberry!”
A saves the good dessert toppings for B
an aspected venus is typically a strong venus, and if it happens to connect with some of the placements mentioned (moon, ceres, ambrosia), food could be significant in one’s relationships, even more so if the venus lands in the bottom of the chart (1H - 6H); the lower hemisphere of the natal chart represents internal processes as compared to the external interests found in the upper half: from the construction of personal values and sensory-seeking behavior in the 2H to the creativity and inner child of the 5H, venus placements here will emphasize the internal concerns of relationships (how does one communicate with others? how do you build a life with another person?) and expression of those concerns can rely heavily on aspects in order to be realized; a 3H venus trine 7H ceres could communicate its fondness through nurturing others, giving someone just a bit of sweetness off its plate
there is no greater commitment than the passing of the strawberry, and venus-juno aspects are probably experts at making these little gestures feel much more grand than they may read on paper (or maybe I’m bad at writing them??); either way, everything, no matter how seemingly insignificant, can be an announcement of love for a venus-juno native, though look to the sign and house first for guidance on how one might express this desire for companionship to another
obsessive buying
|| “you said you liked this once, so I’ll order it for you again!”
A remembers what B likes (for the fourth time now)
when I think of obsession in the chart, squares, oppositions, and conjunctions are the main aspects that come to mind (this can also include minor squares such as the sesquisquare and semi-square), and when they end up between venus and mars placements… things are going to get intense: the uncontrolled energy of mars as applied to a relationship-concerned venus can manifest as someone going far out of their way to please another – it’s almost as if mars plays the role of some sort of trigger to venus’ desire to impress those its interested in. of course this sort of behavior can exist outside of obsession; for someone with a prominent venus-mars, this may just be how they assert themselves in social situations
both ceres and ambrosia could be considered higher octaves of the moon, but for very different reasons: the moon is both a planetary representation of the mother and an expression of one’s emotional needs, hence why food and nourishment are intrinsically connected to it – ceres furthers the motherly energy, expanding the desire to be nourished with the desire to nourish, while ambrosia ties base emotional needs and reactions to the spiritual. when jupiter touches either placement, it can amplify and broaden or, in the case of the square, strain: there is a limit to how inflated a balloon can become before it pops, and the friction introduced by a square certainly doesn’t help, setting the glowing joy and charisma of jupiter on fire – in short, it takes a good thing (sharing food to express affection) and overdoes it
|| “no seriously, have all of them! I got them just for you!”
A buys B more than B can handle
the expanding energy of jupiter meeting venus in an earth or air trine reads as free-flowing abundance and generosity in relationships – air is society-facing and concerned with other people while earth is more involved in its external environment and the things it has. although taurus and libra are both ruled by venus, dealing with finances, aesthetics, and all different forms of relationships and love, taurus is more likely to overexert itself in this manner because it feels that less is simply not enough for the level of stability and comfort it wants to provide, whereas libra may become indecisive about what the right choice is and overcompensate for its fears of not being able to satisfy the wants and needs of a partner
mars in emphatic connection (conjunction, opposition) to ambrosia puts grand, spiritual ideas surrounding food into action: if food and food-sharing are viewed as a sort of conduit, mars can send that energy into overdrive, resulting in the sort of overeager hyperactivity seen in the scenario. activation of the bottom half of the chart (1H - 6H) by ambrosia or the moon could make the experience of food a bit more personal, especially conjunct the IC, the most private point of consciousness found in the chart – one may be more likely to overextend (or underextend) themselves in situations where they feel such a deep emotional connection to a defining theme
|| “put your card away, I’ll pay! get everything you want! no, medium boba is too small…”
A treats B, but forcefully somehow?
the indulgent, service-oriented, or saturnian materialism of an earth venus squaring or opposing a ceres marked by mars or jupiter (aries, scorpio / sagittarius, pisces) suggests the spending of money as an outlet for the aggressive, all-encompassing need to mother nurture a partner – the presence of the hard aspect here could quickly push this from rash to overbearing, but that can depend on how the other person receives it. virgo venus opposite pisces ceres at its most intense could present as something akin to financial worship/submission, abandoning one’s own self-worth while thinking that they can heal someone by throwing money and physical nourishment at them
the internal conflict of fixed squares, oppositions, and also conjunctions can lead to stand-offs in and outside of one’s head (like dueling cowboys in a Western, the fight isn’t ending until someone gets shot), and this contributes to that overbearing energy – imagine a scorpio ceres aspecting a mars in another fixed sign (taurus, leo, scorpio, aquarius): the double dose of both martian and fixed energy could shove good intentions right off the edge… of a cliff
chef's special
|| “you don’t like yours? let’s switch!”
A swaps plates for B’s less-appetizing meal
I expected a bunch of self-sacrificial virgo here, and instead found duty: heavy jupiterian and saturnian (sagittarius, pisces / capricorn, aquarius) placements portraying the responsibility of a father figure in keeping the wife and kids happy, especially during the outings he pays for; ceres and jupiter in particular were quite prominent, the goddess of motherhood and god/father of the sky further detailing the call to take care of another through their aspects to personal planets
if the eighth house represents the intangible things we share, the second house brings the same idea into the material world – this makes it the food-sharing center, and the central house for this analysis. bodies making squares from the 11H may activate the 2H through the pressure of and desire to live up to societal expectations (specifically the feeling that one should swap plates); an opposition from an 8H placement might manifest as someone sharing physical items and sensory experiences as a channel for expressing those lovely water house emotions (swapping plates as a declaration of one’s affections); trines with the 6H unite food as indulgence and food as routine self-nourishment, representing the process by which sharing food with another suddenly becomes a Regular Thing™ (when both parties’ needs are linked, compromise feels natural)
hi y'all! this series is a result of me experimenting with a bunch of charts and paring down to find patterns, so while many things may not specifically resonate, the general themes could be there. remember that your chart works as a whole, not as individual placements, and feel free to let me know what you think

Arctic Ozone Hits Record High
Ozone concentrations over the Arctic reached a record-high monthly average in March 2024. Due to large-scale weather systems that disturbed the upper atmosphere throughout the 2023-2024 winter, more ozone moved into and persisted in the stratosphere over the Arctic than at any other time in the satellite record.
A team of NASA and University of Leeds scientists reported their findings in a September 2024 paper in Geophysical Research Letters. “Given the absence of high Arctic ozone since the 1970s,” the authors wrote, “the March 2024 record high should be considered a positive harbinger of the future Arctic ozone layer.”
Between December 2023 and March 2024, a series of planetary-scale waves propagated upward through the atmosphere and slowed the stratospheric jet stream that circulates around the Arctic. When that happens, air from the mid-latitudes converges on the pole, sending ozone into the Arctic stratosphere. In addition to the influx of ozone, there was very little of the typical ozone depletion by substances such as chlorine, said Paul Newman, chief scientist for Earth sciences at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and lead author of the study. “It was a very dynamical, active winter in the northern hemisphere,” he said.
More stratospheric ozone is positive for life on Earth. The stratospheric ozone layer is a natural sunscreen, absorbing harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation. The authors calculated that from April–July 2024, the UV index was 6 to 7 percent lower in the Arctic and 2 to 6 percent lower in the northern hemisphere mid-latitudes. Less UV radiation means less damage to plant DNA and a lower risk of cataracts, skin cancer, and suppressed immune systems in humans and animals.
The activity in March 2024 is in sharp contrast to March 2020, when stratospheric ozone concentrations hit extremely low levels. Without disruption from upper atmospheric wave events, steady circumpolar winds prevented ozone from other latitudes from replenishing the Arctic stratosphere. The stable polar vortex also created colder-than-average conditions, favorable for ozone-depleting reactions to occur.
The maps above show ozone concentrations over the Arctic for March 2020 (left) and March 2024 (right), illustrating the large amount of variation possible there. The monthly averages were calculated by the NASA Ozone Watch team and are based on data acquired by the OMPS (Ozone Mapping Profiler Suite) on the NASA-NOAA Suomi-NPP satellite.
Unlike over Antarctica, where ozone holes form each year, the concentration of ozone over the Arctic is highly variable and subject to the “year-to-year vagaries” of tropospheric and stratospheric weather, Newman said.

The strong wave events from late December 2023 through early March 2024 resulted in the increases in ozone concentration seen in the chart above. Ozone levels peaked in March, as they typically do, and then remained well above average. May, June, July, and August also set new records for monthly average ozone concentrations. “This really is an extraordinary northern summer period,” Newman said.
As for what could have caused the unusual stratospheric weather, the authors looked at a variety of factors without finding a clear answer. The effect of climate change, for example, is difficult to quantify. “There might be a climate factor here, but it’s not obvious,” said Newman. With respect to larger atmospheric patterns such as El Niño and the Quasi-Biennial Oscillation: “Possibly, but the contribution is relatively small.”
In addition to stratospheric weather, which is the primary determinant of Arctic ozone levels, the authors think longer-term trends likely bumped ozone concentrations to record highs. Since the Montreal Protocol phased out production of ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and halons in 1987, ozone levels have been slowly recovering. As such, the high March 2024 levels were within the authors’ expectations: the Goddard chemistry–climate model, GEOSCCM, showed a 1-in-8 chance of a record high by 2025, and more records are anticipated in the future. However, because CFCs persist in the atmosphere for decades, average Arctic ozone is not expected to return to 1980 levels until about 2045, they note.
Higher greenhouse gas concentrations in the stratosphere also accelerate ozone recovery. “This record was likely a result of decreased ozone-depleting substances and increased greenhouse gases. Otherwise, it would have been just a high year and not a record,” said Newman. “I call this year a harbinger of the future.”

Benzene Prices Trend | Pricing | News | Database | Chart
Benzene is a key chemical in the global market, widely used as a precursor for the production of numerous essential chemicals, including styrene, phenol, and cyclohexane. Due to its fundamental role in the chemical industry, benzene prices are influenced by various factors that include raw material costs, supply and demand dynamics, and geopolitical events. The price of benzene has experienced significant volatility over the years, reflecting shifts in both global oil prices and the chemical production sector's demands.
One of the primary factors driving benzene price fluctuations is the cost of crude oil. Benzene is a by-product of petroleum refining, and its production is closely linked to the refining of crude oil. As a result, when oil prices increase, benzene prices often follow suit. Conversely, when oil prices drop, the cost of producing benzene tends to decrease, which can lead to lower benzene prices. This relationship is not always linear, as other market forces, such as regional supply-demand imbalances, can also play a significant role in price movements.
Get Real Time Prices for Benzene : https://www.chemanalyst.com/Pricing-data/benzene-25
In addition to oil price fluctuations, benzene prices are also affected by the supply and demand balance in key markets. For instance, the demand for benzene often rises during periods of economic growth when industrial production is ramping up. This increased demand can tighten the supply of benzene, driving up prices. On the other hand, during economic downturns, demand may fall, causing prices to decline. Another factor influencing supply is the availability of key raw materials, such as toluene and xylene, which are also produced from crude oil. Disruptions in the supply chains of these materials can reduce benzene production, further affecting its price.
Geopolitical events are another major factor influencing benzene prices. Political instability in oil-producing regions or trade disputes can disrupt the supply of crude oil or raw materials required for benzene production. Such disruptions can lead to sharp price increases in benzene, as the market reacts to supply shortages. Additionally, changes in environmental regulations in major producing countries can impact benzene production costs, further influencing price fluctuations. For example, stricter environmental standards may lead to higher production costs, which can be passed on to consumers in the form of higher prices.
Seasonal factors also play a role in benzene pricing. Certain periods of the year, particularly in the Northern Hemisphere, can lead to higher demand for benzene, driven by increased production in industries such as automotive and construction. This increased demand during peak seasons can push prices upward. Similarly, supply-side constraints, such as plant maintenance or unexpected downtime in key production facilities, can tighten supply and result in higher prices during these times.
Benzene prices are also influenced by the competitive landscape within the chemical industry. Major producers of benzene are concentrated in regions such as North America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, with key players including companies like ExxonMobil, Shell, and BP. The competition among these producers, as well as the entry of new players into the market, can impact pricing strategies. For instance, new investments in benzene production capacity or changes in the production methods employed by key producers can either increase or decrease production costs, influencing the price of benzene in the market.
Another important consideration in benzene pricing is the environmental and regulatory landscape. As concerns over climate change and environmental pollution grow, governments around the world are implementing stricter regulations to limit emissions from chemical production. These regulations can result in higher compliance costs for benzene producers, leading to upward pressure on prices. Furthermore, the growing trend toward sustainability and the development of alternative, greener production processes may affect long-term price trends. As industries shift towards more sustainable practices, benzene producers may face higher costs related to adopting new technologies, which could be reflected in benzene prices over time.
Technological advancements in the production of benzene and its derivatives are also worth noting in the context of price trends. The development of more efficient production methods or new sources of raw materials can reduce production costs, which may lead to lower benzene prices. For instance, the advancement of catalytic processes or the increased use of bio-based feedstocks could lower the cost of producing benzene, making it more affordable in the market. However, such technological advancements are typically capital-intensive and may take time to implement across the industry.
Looking ahead, the future of benzene prices will likely be shaped by a combination of factors, including global economic conditions, technological innovation, and the evolving regulatory environment. As demand for benzene and its derivatives continues to grow, especially in emerging markets, the global supply-demand balance will remain a key determinant of price movements. Similarly, the continued fluctuations in crude oil prices, coupled with geopolitical and environmental considerations, will contribute to ongoing volatility in benzene pricing. As the market continues to adapt to these factors, stakeholders in the benzene supply chain, from producers to consumers, will need to stay informed about market conditions and pricing trends to make strategic decisions. Ultimately, the price of benzene will remain a barometer for broader economic trends and an essential factor in the global chemical market.

“To Buy, Or Not To Buy? That Is The Question!”
CNBC published an article on their website on Monday titled "This agricultural trade is bottoming with more upside likely ahead, according to the charts".
Okay, I’m not disputing this article now, but let's assume the author is right and we shall expect prices to rise. Coincidentally, this happens when the Northern Hemisphere is entering a phase of slow demand, dictated by the end of the spring application programme. So, will a possible uptick in agricultural prices trigger the purchase and price of fertilisers, particularly nitrogen?
My view on urea supply these days is quite simple: any importer, in any part of the world, can have a shipment of any quantity of urea within the latest two weeks from the moment of placing the purchase order:
- Brazil is easily covered by floating cargoes, urea from Russia and Nigeria.
- India - well, you know it better than me.
- Europe is a sandbox of Algeria, Egypt, and Russia.
- Etc...
This makes the summer refill programme less attractive for importers and farmers unless an exchange ratio between future crop prices and fertilisers becomes very attractive. Question - what does "attractive" mean? How much is the fish?
Let’s look at Egypt, which was a newsmaker yesterday, with several Egyptian producers selling 85,000 metric tonnes in the range of $286-293 per metric ton FOB. Corn on the CBOT meanwhile ended the day at $4.78 per bushel, making the ratio equal to 59.83 (using the lower indication of $286 per metric ton). Last year, a similar price of $285 per metric ton FOB was the lowest indication, before the market took off and was reported on June 6, 2023. Corn cost $5.34 per bushel, making the ratio equal to 53.37.
If we follow the logic, and based on today’s corn prices, urea should be around $255 per metric ton to be considered "attractive" for a stock refill purchase. Or even lower. Needless to say, it's way too early to talk about "refill" at all.
I do think that yesterday's purchases in Egypt were made to cover the existing shorts in Europe and to catch the last demand of this prolonged spring demand. Sorry, my fellow friends-producers, but I still think another correction is on the way.
However, I’ve been wrong many times before!

While many people are living through a sweltering summer, it’s the depths of winter in Antarctica. Usually, this means there’s a lot of sea ice around the continent. Yet, this year, it’s the lowest it’s ever been. What’s happening? NASA’s National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) satellite measurements show that through July of this year, sea ice coverage averaged only 13.5 million kilometers. That’s the lowest measurement since the center began measuring ice in 1978. Usually, Antarctic sea ice affects an area of about 15 million square kilometers. It grows and melts with the change of seasons. For winter 2023, the growth rate slowed down drastically, covering two million square kilometers less than the average. And, that’s unusual. “What we’re seeing this year is uncharted territory in the satellite record,” said Walt Meier, a scientist at NSIDC. There’s definitely a downward trend in sea ice, and it’s not new. It’s a continuation of a slump in production that began in 2014. That year, ice growth around the continent was quite high. In fact, for a while, it had been increasing about a percent per decade. Since that time, production slowed. One of the most drastic declines took place in 2016 and things have gone downhill since then. “Most of the months since 2016 have been well below average,” Meier said. Chart showing changes in Antarctic sea ice over time. Courtesy: NSIDC. Why Is Sea Ice Declining in Antarctica? The cause of this shift is not yet clear. “Both the increase in Antarctic sea ice prior to 2014 and its rapid decrease since are of great interest to scientists, without a consensus point-of-view on the drivers,” said Claire Parkinson, a climate scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Parkinson is an expert in using satellite observations to map sea ice extent, and in 1983 she was part of the group that published the first atlas of Antarctic sea ice from satellite data. Interestingly, the decline seen around Antarctica between 2014 and 2017 was greater than the decline in ice seen in the Arctic. However, it’s interesting to note that northern ice fields are also being affected by something interfering with their ice fields. Hudson’s Bay, for example, was ice-free early in 2023. Other regions in the northern hemisphere, such as the Siberian Sea, the Beaufort Sea (north of Alaska), and the Kara Sea in Russia are also losing ice cover. The popular Mendenhall Glacier near Juneau, Alaska, is definitely smaller than normal, too. In early August, a nearby glacial lake outburst tied to melting ice flooded nearby areas. Authorities linked it to warming, which has helped shrink the glacier. Mendenhall Glacier in Alaska is shrinking due to warming temperatures. Courtesy NSIDC. Possible Explanations The Antarctic ice problem is definitely grabbing scientists’ attention with its most drastic decline in the entire 40-year satellite record. It, along with Greenland, is losing its ice rapidly. So, what could be happening? Obviously, climate change looks like it could be a culprit. Warming temperatures associated with it affect the oceans, which could be forcing a shift toward lower ice accumulation around Antarctica. In some of her research, Parkinson cites other possible drivers for ice loss, including ties to the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) effect, an interdecadal Pacific oscillation, or something called the Amundsen Sea low. Antarctic seas map. Courtesy: Rooiratel, CC BY-SA-4.0. Just as one example, Parkinson discusses studies that focused on the extreme sea ice retreat of 2016. There’s quite a bit of evidence linking it to conditions in the local atmosphere and oceans. There was a strong northerly atmospheric flow that caused rapid ice retreat in the Weddell Sea (just above West Antarctica). Other changes induced ice loss in the Ross Sea. There was also an extreme El Niño that peaked earlier that year, which warmed the waters of the Bellinghause, Amundsen, and eastern parts of the Ross seas. Other atmospheric conditions contributed to sea ice extent that year. In short, there wasn’t just one event that affected ice growth, but a combination of several. No Definitive Answers to Sea Ice Conundrum…Yet Could this combo of events and effects be what’s going on in 2023? There’s no consensus yet. Some scientists have speculated that perhaps the Antarctic sea ice is starting to experience some kind of shift toward lower ice production. However, even with 40 years of data, Meier said it was too soon to tell whether there is such a shift or not. Yet, recent studies point to changing ocean conditions as a possible driver. Ocean heat may be playing a stronger role than usual. If so, it could be limiting autumn and winter ice growth and then enhancing spring and summer ice melt episodes. https://www.washingtonpost.com/weather/2023/07/18/extreme-heat-record-limits-human-survival/
The heat index reached 152 degrees in the Middle East — nearly at the limit for human survival
Updated July 18, 2023 at 10:02 a.m. EDT|Published July 18, 2023 at 6:30 a.m. EDT
As the Northern Hemisphere approaches summer’s peak, heat is testing the limits of human survival in Earth’s hottest spots — and demonstrating the extremes that are increasingly possible and probable against the backdrop of accelerating global warming.
In recent days, China set an all-time high of nearly 126 degrees Fahrenheit, while Death Valley hit 128 degrees, two shy of the highest reliably measured temperature on Earth. Phoenix was expected to observe a record-breaking 19th consecutive day at or above 110 degrees Tuesday. And in the Middle East, the heat index reached 152 degrees, nearing — or surpassing — levels thought to be the most intense the human body can withstand.
Such conditions are more than enough to overwhelm the body’s ability to regulate its internal temperature, experts said, and offer a glimpse of dangers only expected to become more prevalent as global warming increases extremes in heat and humidity.
“We know these extreme temperatures are killing people right now,” said Cascade Tuholske, an assistant professor at Montana State University.
Without the help of air conditioning, fans or shade, the body only has its own cooling system to withstand heat. Some body heat can escape through convection and radiation, though that is only effective if the air temperature is lower than body temperature.
Otherwise, sweating is the only way to cool down, transferring heat from the body to the air as it turns from a liquid to a vapor. But that, too, has its limits.
“Sweating is only effective in cooling our bodies if it evaporates,” said Larry Kenney, a professor at Pennsylvania State University who studies physiological responses to heat. Sweat that pools on the skin or drips off “represents dehydration, without any cooling effect,” he said.
Research has shown the human body loses its ability to cool itself via sweating at 95 degrees (35 degrees Celsius) on a scale known as the wet bulb global temperature, which factors in a combination of temperature, humidity, wind speed, sun angle and cloud cover. Unlike the heat index, which rises above the air temperature based on humidity, the wet bulb globe temperature is not designed to be interpreted as a measure of how hot it feels outside.
A study Kenney published last year estimates that the body’s cooling systems struggle at an even lower wet bulb global temperature, closer to 88 degrees (31 degrees Celsius) even for young and healthy people, based on observations of volunteer test subjects in a weather-controlled chamber.
At that point, exposure to such heat and humidity can strain the heart and cause body temperatures to rise unabatedly, Kenney said. That’s why extreme heat is most dangerous for older people and those with heart conditions.
On Sunday at the Persian Gulf International Airport in Iran, air temperatures exceeded 100 degrees, and the air was nearly saturated with humidity. That translated to a wet bulb temperature of 92.7 degrees (33.7 degrees Celsius), according to data and a wet bulb conversion calculator from the National Weather Service.
The heat and humidity were so intense, they translated to a heat index value that was literally off the charts. The heat index is designed to max out at about 136 degrees, but on Sunday it surpassed 150 degrees in the Persian Gulf.
Well beyond the Middle East, wet bulb temperatures were approaching dangerous levels. Across the southwestern and southeastern United States, wet bulb temperatures hovered in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees on Monday, according to Weather Service data.
Research published in 2020 found that dangerously high wet bulb temperatures are occurring far more frequently — more than twice as often since 1979.
This year, the extreme conditions are occurring alongside a large surge in global heat. It is the product of a resurgent planet-warming El Niño climate pattern on top of greenhouse gas-driven warming.
The planet experienced record warmth in June, and the trend also extends to Earth’s oceans.
The waters around Florida, where residents used to steamy conditions are experiencing record heat and humidity this year, have surged close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. That means, Tuholske added, that not even a dip in the ocean can provide relief from the heat.
“The summer of 2023 is proving to be one of the hottest, if not the hottest and most dangerous,” Tuholske said.

a-z how they are represented in astrology: fall things edition
ideas found using r.e. bill’s rulership book and from time spent studying astrology. interpretations and reasoning completely hypothetical and based on my experiences with each scenario!
warning: i can be harsh, please don’t take everything i say as predestined, astrology is possible outcomes not guaranteed ones. plus let’s not forget orbs matter, dominance matters, etc. it’s never just one planet or one asteroid that rule over an outcome or how things effect you. this is just a starting place for when examining singular objects in an entire galaxy. take what resonates and leave what doesn’t!

apples
venus
why this is useful information: ever hear the expression “apple of my eye”? enough said lol. if you have an apple allergy, you may have moon negatively aspecting your venus.
astrology, the astrologer, & fortune telling
moon / uranus / neptune
why this is useful information: where do your gifts rank? *this is not to say you can’t practice and become an expert - this is about how naturally the arts of interpretation come to you* PULL OUT THE PERSONA CHARTS! take a look at the planets listed above this blurb - now in each of these charts look at mercury, venus, and uranus. mercury is seen as an amateur, venus as the intermediate, and uranus as the expert. the more of these on a southern hemisphere (7-12h) the better! example: my moon persona has a 10h uranus, 8h venus, and a 6h mercury. this is an incredible arc to understanding instincts and intuition when studying astrology.
autumn
saturn
persephone (399) leaving the northern hemisphere (1-6h) and enters the southern hemisphere (7-12h)
why this is useful information: where are you in the autumn of your life? autumn in itself always signifies a lowering of energy; in terms of fall, it's the responsibilities of harvesting and putting up food - the preparation for the winter. saturn lines in your astrocharts can show you where that autumn vibe is not necessarily all candied apples and sweaters. rather those are the places you’ll be working hard like all the farm hands do this time of the year. the autumn vibes in your chart based on houses may show where you too have to keep up with the changes around you more strenuously than those around you. take a look at your chart - your saturn is likely where you may not have the same level of success as others, where you maintain a lot of responsibility to perform and provide, as well as where you should prep as you head into fall! my saturn is in the 3h, i already had my car inspected the first week of september because i knew that if i didn’t i wouldn’t have time with school. i also know that i have social anxiety so being in school five days a week and then commuting home really wipes me out. so my advice: take a look at your saturn persona chart: take a look at jupiter in your saturn chart; it may just be your saving grace! personally, my jupiter is in my 4h of my saturn persona chart - my house was decorated for fall by august 20th (a few days before i went back), i made sure my fridge and pantry were stocked up, etc. as long as my home is inviting and well prepared for the change of pace and seasonal transitions - imma be okay lol. and honestly, it truly helps to see fake leaves and a gnome on my fireplace at the end of the day. if you have persphone-saturn aspects you may find you change your environment when fall/winter is coming (popular in college students who go home for summer OR people who have summer or winter homes), or that fall for you symbolizes a change in your roles (popular in people who have a summer job OR those who are teachers and have the summer off).
baked goods (cinnamon rolls, muffins, donuts, etc.) & candy treats
taurus (2°, 14°, 26°) / libra (7°, 19°)
venus
ambrosia (193) / tantalus (2102)
why this is useful information: what is your favorite fall treat? fall is definitely the time when all sorts of goodies come out and make a season feel whole. all our favorite fall treats have those warm spices in them: apple cider donuts, pumpkin loaf, cinnamon rolls, etc - if this is your treat of choice you likely have venus aspects to the sun or jupiter (if you like these treats and don't have this aspect, this just means you may have a different treat you LOVE)! favorite candy is where it gets tricky. if you are a chocolate purest (hershey kisses, chocolate flats (like shaped in a ghost or something), etc.), you likely have a taurus or libra venus. fire venus people tend to like the clear, hard candy like lollipops, jolly ranchers, etc. most aries venus people or 2h in a fire sign people i know love sour candy like warheads, sour patch kids, etc. ambrosia positive aspects to venus could mean you like to bake or you love to get your fall treats so you get into the fall vibe. tantalus negative aspects to venus could mean you hold yourself (sometimes unwillingly) back from indulging in sweets due to dieting OR that you have trouble resisting sweets and often find yourself in a binge.
bats
pluto
lucubratio (3021)
why this is useful information: where are you like the creature who only flies at night? bats are known to be extremely efficient night creatures - darkness doesn’t inhibit their actions or their goals. this is because they don’t need light to see they have echolocation. pluto in your chart could indicate your night habits or where you work best at night. lucubratio-pluto aspects may indicate that you like bats are super efficient in the dark of night - you may even work the night shift. you may have incredible hearing like a bat's if you have pluto aspecting your mercury or saturn. a bat-like eyesight (meaning it is poor) may be indicated by mercury-pluto aspects.
beelzebub, demons, & satan
saturn / pluto
lucifer (1930)
why this is useful information: where are you your own demon? saturn and pluto placements in your chart may be the areas of your life in which you give yourself a really difficult time or cause your own setbacks. lucifer aspects to saturn could indicate your ego is causing restrictions in your life; you could be too arrogant OR, alternatively, need to raise your expectations. lucifer-pluto aspects are troubling as they give a lot of satanic vibes - you may find yourself tired of being the good guy, grasping for more power, manipulating others, and/or hungry for revenge.
birds of prey (crows and vultures)
mars / saturn / pluto
odin (3989) / prometheus (1809) / wodan (2155)
why this is useful information: if you have a deity like those asteroids listed above (they all have a connection to predator birds) - look at their persona chart for you. do you see a lot of crows or vultures?? do you have a scorpio or capricorn moon or mercury in their persona chart? maybe aspects from the mercury to mars, saturn, and/or pluto? or mars, saturn, or pluto in the 3h? your recent encounter with a bird of prey may not be by accident then - your deity may be checking on you or trying to get you to speak with them and sending a little messenger your way!
biting, fangs, and teeth
mars (biting) / saturn (teeth)
why this is useful information: for sexual purposes… or to evaluate how sharp your teeth are - mars-saturn people may have prominently sharp teeth or a strong bite sure to leave a mark. i hate to bring up ted bundy again but hi that man had a mars trine saturn… the orthodontia is what got him in his court case. plus that man truly had a sexual urge to bite that victim. have no fear; you aren’t the next ted bundy if you have a mars trine saturn - i’m decently sure his mars (4h) trine pluto (12h) didn’t help what happened… or the fact that he had a mars (5h) trine pluto (12h) in his mars persona…
blankets
sun / saturn
hephaistos (2212) - sorry that’s more so a joke about the aphrodite trap lol
why this is useful information: cold much? do you like blankets? you may have sun-neptune and/or saturn-neptune placements! with these placements you likely always have a blanket handy in case you get cold! alternatively, blankets may make you feel suffocated or too hot/uncomfortable if you have hephaistos-sun or hephaistos-saturn aspects.
blood
sagittarius (9°, 21°) / aquarius (11°, 23°)
jupiter / uranus
why this is useful information: this gonna sounds crazy but i feel like sagittarius and jupiter are your own blood - so if they are opposite one another like 2h in sag but 8h jupiter seeing your own blood makes you incredibly uncomfortable or scared - think of phlebotomy - some people love to watch their blood get take they "think it's cool" while others cry or faint at the idea of it. while aquarius and uranus are other people’s blood - you probably would help a person who is bleeding out if you have positive interactions between the two. if you have jupiter-uranus positive aspects you may be extremely good at helping those when blood is involved you may enter fight mode and start putting pressure on wounds, wrapping it up, elevating it, etc.
bodies
1h
prometheus (1809)
why this is useful information: this one is pretty straightforward 1h is a physical appearance. but why prometheus, right? recall that prometheus shaped the humans out of clay, and athena breathed life into them. thus, prometheus is the body, and athena is the spirit. so where ever your prometheus is can tell you the thought process in creating your body - 1h prometheus people are super androgynous (ex: hunter schafer), 4h prometheus people are probably really womanly shaped (ex: kim kardashian has a 4h), etc.
bones
capricorn (10°, 22°)
10h
saturn
why this is useful information: something weird i noticed - capricorns are constantly getting hurt and breaking bones. mars-saturn aspects no one experience a bunch of bruising as they do, but, alternatively, this aspect experiences broken bones (so watch out for transits where mars is nearing your saturn so you know to avoid bungee jumping or whatever activity you can break bones in).
bookstores
gemini (3°, 15°, 27°)
3h
mercury
why this is useful information: as a book lover, i had to add this in! your gemini house, 3h, and mercury tend to indicate what type of books (aka where in a bookstore you would gravitate towards). 4h geminis may love books with a lot of world-building (crescent city, the odyssey, tales of belkin - fictional) or family dramas (dark artifices’ trilogy, little women, uncle vanya, etc). 3h pisces people may love self-help (how to be a badass, 101 essays that will change the way you think, the life changing magic of tidying up, etc). scorpio mercuries love smut (playing for keeps, darkfever, halfway to the grave, etc.) or something really dark and edgy (empire of the vampire, death of ivan ilyich, game of thrones, etc.) - for them, the more detail - the better.
boots
pisces (12°, 24°)
mercury / saturn
hermes (69230)
why this is useful information: it’s boot season, but do boots love you? people who really rock boots tend to have a pisces rising, pisces mercury, mercury-venus aspects, and/or saturn-venus aspects. hermes may tell you the type of boot you like! ex: hermes placements ruled by or aspecting saturn and/or mercury tend to like boots that are good for all manners of activity (they need to have a heavy tread boot or a utility boot). capricorn and/or saturn ruled hermes people love leather boots. venus ruled or hermes-venus people like a fashion boot and tend to wear boots with heels!
brimstone
aries (1°, 13°, 25°)
mars / pluto
lucifer (1930)
why this is useful information: the leviathan cross of satanism is also the alchemic symbol for brimstone (aka sulfur). for satanic groups, the leviathan cross (sometimes referred to as the infinity cross) symbolizes protection and equality for all. others believe that brimstone is associated with divine retribution. where aries, mars, pluto, and lucifer are in your chart may show the areas in which you advocate for justice/retribution.
brooms
venus / mars
why this is useful information: at weddings, people jump over broomsticks because they are a balance of yonic energy (feminine - the hairs/bristles of a broom) and phallic energy (masculine - the stick). brooms are meant to sweep away negative energy - or balance energy - in your life. venus and mars in your chart may be the areas in which you need to remember to balance your energy or be aware that they need frequent cleansing. a witch's broom is used to travel so a venus/mars placement in the 3h or 9h may indicate swift traveling.
burials, catacombs, and cemeteries
scorpio (8°, 20°) / capricorn (10°, 22°)
4h / 8h
saturn / pluto
hatshepsut (2436) / nefertiti (3199)
why this is useful information: wanna be buried somewhere good? get buried on a saturn or pluto line! because both of these planets rule over cemeteries :) this also is my personal reason why those lines are hard to live on or near - it is your character's death to live in those spots - no one leaves how they arrive: they wisen or they change. i personally see the 4h as a personal final resting place while 8h is people you know. the areas in which scorpio and capricorn rule over may be areas in which you feel drain you of life or make you feel more alone (ex: 9h - you could feel alone when at a college, when traveling, and/or during the practice of religion). if you have hatshepsut saturn or pluto aspects, there is a chance that grave robbing and disruption could occur to your resting spot. if you have nefertiti saturn or pluto aspects, you may have a private or secret burial site for your body! also to be a bit controversial saturn (despite ruling over ashes) is a burial and pluto is a cremation.
cats
virgo (6°, 18°)
6h
venus
cheshirecat (6042)
why this is useful information: do you want a familiar? fret not the most common familiar is a cat! check out your solar returns and look for a virgo venus, 6h in virgo, 6h venus, and/or cheshirecat in virgo or the 6h! these can all indicate the adoption of a cat that year! look at the aspects to cheshirecat for the year of the adoption to see its personality - the more positive aspects the more magical your familiar will be and the more similarities you will see to cheshirecat - reclusive, morally grey, loves to play games, etc. the more negative aspects to cheshirecat the more likely the familiar will be less like cheshirecat - partner in crime, loving, cozy, etc. negative aspects between your natal moon and natal venus or cheshirecat could indicate a cat allergy.
cinnamon
sun / jupiter
why this is useful information: where do you need the abundance associated with this spice in your life? check the natal placements! if you want to be a bit more ritualistic, time a cinnamon ritual with the transits of these planets into a different house in your chart. for example, the libra sun will transit from my 7h to my 8h around the 22nd of october - lowkey might go visit my mother’s brother or sister (8h can be maternal aunts and uncles who live at a distance for feminines) and bring them some baked goods. efforts like this promote the spirit of cinnamon sticks! be warm, be kind, and share what you have big or small!
clairvoyants & oracles
pisces (12°, 24°)
8h / 12h
uranus / neptune
cheshirecat (6042) / pythia (432) / frigga (77)
why this is useful information: you may have the gist of pisces placements, 8h, 12h, uranus/neptune dominance gives you a gift for knowing the future but what about these asteroids, right? LET ME TELL YOU! if you feel uncertain take one of these guide’s persona charts information or save it to your astro. pull up the solar return for that year using the saved persona chart to get some advice from your chart’s guides! cheshirecat was meant to guide alice through an unfamiliar place. pythias were used to gain insights about a quest or present situation. and frigg is the original völva. you could leave the other two in the chart to see if your chosen guide says to gain more insight from them in a specific area of interest!
cloves
venus / jupiter
why this is useful information: similar to cinnamon, cloves can promote abundance, but they can also promote protection and love. so if you want to promote more of this energy into your life - check transits! venus recently entered my 7h and i left a whole clove with a letter to my future lover on my shelf, i will get rid of it when the transit shifts venus to my 8h.
coats, jackets, external layers, etc.
venus / jupiter
heracles (5143)
why this is useful information: what is your external layer of choice? venus generally rules over clothes but jupiter is the plentifulness - so together the two together create *the extra* of clothes - coats, jackets, and more. depending on the dynamic of the two (location, aspects, etc.), they can tell us a bit about your preferences in layers. negative venus-jupiter aspects probably hate layering things (i feel like they don’t zip their coat if they wear one). 3h and/or 9h venus and/or jupiter people probably wear clothes depending on the weather - they aren't the type to wear shorts in the winter or sweatshirts in the summer. heracles-venus aspects probably love fur. heracles-jupiter aspects likely show a lot of gratitude to clothes and may even wear things that have a story behind them (the jacket you wear may be thrifted or may have been given to you by a relative as something they once wore).
coffins
capricorn (10°, 22°)
saturn / pluto
why this is useful information: want to be buried in a coffin? saturn-pluto aspects can indicate you getting your wish! saturn or pluto-venus or saturn or pluto-jupiter aspects can indicate luxury coffins. aquarius and capricorn saturns and/or plutos may prefer a simple/standard coffin. aries saturns or saturn or pluto-mars aspects may prefer a metal coffin.
common cold (everyone is coughing and sneezing *help*)
taurus (2°, 14°, 26°) / capricorn (10°, 22°)
mercury / saturn
why this is useful information: feel a tickle in your throat? it’s likely the beginning of something… sadly, it's that time of the year again. watch your transit charts! my natal mercury squared the transiting saturn and i got sick lol.
conspiracy theories
pisces (12°, 24°)
12h
neptune
why this is useful information: conspiracy theorists have a lot of prominent pisces placements, 12h placements, and neptune aspects. controversial opinion - mercury-neptune aspects are the most likely to have a lot of conspiracies and share them with others (this is me saying not all mercury-neptune people are blatant liars in my opinion but rather they have very *different beliefs* from others). they also tend to be a bit paranoid.
cooking & baking
cancer (4°, 16°, 28°)
5h / 6h
moon / mars
why this is useful information: who is ready to bake!? i find that most people who love to cook and bake have prominent cancer placements, 5h and/or 6h placements, and/or a lot of moon and/or mars aspects.
corn & feilds
capricorn (10°, 22°)
4h
sun / mercury / saturn
why this is useful information: “it’s corn” ;)
cornucopia
capricorn (10°, 22°)
abundantia (193) / amalthea (113)
why this is useful information: ‘tis the time to gather the things you have and share them! capricorn element people likely give despite feeling that they don’t have a lot. abundantia and/or amalthea aspecting jupiter people may find they received when in need and thus dedicate a life to giving back. BEWARE of negative jupiter aspects it may signal that you give to the point of draining yourself completely or you may frequently be taken advantage of. this may even be a great thing to take a look at in synastry or composite charts. for example: abundantia squares a person’s jupiter (in the 3h for example) - jupiter is an acquirer so this person may take up a lot of the abundantia’s person’s energy but the abundantia person can’t help but give this person both their time and energy! or for a composite where there is an amalthea opposite jupiter (in the 11h for example) could be a set of people who mutually take each other's energy as companions in a way in which there is very little life-relationship balance.
corpses, mummies, & vampires
scorpio (8°, 20°)
8h
saturn / pluto
why this is useful information: wanna know if you could come back from the dead? i’m kidding that’s not something we can see in astrology (hypothetically, yes - but realistically, no). if you have a lot of these placements you may have the looks of the dead (don’t be offended i’m a scorpio AND pluto dominant person with an 8h stellium). this can mean that you have a look that is quite out of time - you could look victorian, royal, or have a sickly complexion (lighter toned sick compared to family, under eye bruises, sharp/prevalent bone structure, etc.). it’s a haunting look!
costumes
venus / jupiter
achilles (588) / donar (2176) / hatshepsut (2436) / loke (4862) / odysseus (1143) / thora (299) / ulysses (5242)
why this is useful information: check your solar return charts for hints at what you should be for halloween! venus and jupiter aspects indicate dress up. venus dominant charts or venus-jupiter aspects in solar return chart people may dress as a cat, scorpio venus or jupiter aspecting saturn or pluto could indicate dressing as the dead, venus-saturn or venus-pluto people could dress as the devil, etc. venus or jupiter aspecting any of these asteroids could indicate dressing as the opposite gender from which you normally do (lexi dressing as bob ross in the HBO series euphoria type vibes).
crops
cancer (4°, 16°, 28°)
4h
moon
ceres (1) / persphone (399)
why this is useful information: if you have a garden, this is a great thing to look at for your solar return! 4h placements, moon dominance, and cancer placements are great indications of a wonderful gardening year. and that goes for these two goddesses, who have a hand in the harvest season! we definitely don’t want saturn or pluto aspects to ceres, persephone, or the moon - this indicates dead crops! the plus is if you see this in your solar return before you start growing things you can proactively try to avoid dead plants - set alarms, mark calendars, etc.
crystal balls
neptune
why this is useful information: glimpses into your own crystal ball by looking at your neptune in your solar return chart OR your neptune persona chart (this can be for the natal chart or for the solar return chart. solar return neptune persona chart requires you to save the solar return chart to your astro first).
dark colors (brown, black, etc.)
scorpio (8°, 20°) / capricorn (10°, 22°)
saturn
why this is useful information: did you look good in warm autumnal colors? you may have aspects from your venus to your saturn or a capricorn or scorpio venus (yes, degrees count too)!
electrocution
uranus (especially retrograde) / pluto
why this is useful information: it’s alive, IT’S ALIVE! uranus and pluto can tell you where you may find yourself shocked or brought back to life.
enchantment, illusions, & potions
neptune
circe (34) / medea (212)
why this is useful information: are you gifted in magic? perhaps the next hermione granger? if you have a lot of neptunian energy you may be rather gifted in your use and practice of magic. two very popular and strong mages of greek myth are medea and circe - if these characters are prominent (they aspect your personal planets) in your chart you may be just as magical as them. medea-neptune aspects may be incredibly like medea herself she was clever - she knew how to manipulate others and how to enchant objects. these abilities made her extremely powerful. circe-neptune aspect can indicate doing a lot of defensive magic.
E. T. (extra terrestrials) & aliens
sagittarius (9°, 21°)
9h
uranus / neptune
why this is useful information: this one is a bit different from what you’d expect - everyone is probably like “where’s aquarius???” i have no clue you’ll have to ask r.e. bills. i guess it makes a bit of sense though - sag is the traveler, 9h is long distances, uranus is shocking differences, and neptune is mystifying. but here we go - why do we care? anywhere these things are or if you have a lot of 9h placements - this could indicate you feeling different from the majority of those around you. an 11h neptune person may feel as though they can’t connect to others socially as easily as everyone else does. 9h stelliums may feel like they can’t be properly understood by others.
exorcism
uranus
why this is useful information: uranus may indicate where you need to be awakened by another who knows you haven’t been quite yourself.
experiments
uranus
asclepius (4581) / eureka (5261) / hephaistos (2212) / prometheus (1809)
why this is useful information: are you the next dr. frankenstein? a prominent uranus could indicate such BUT what type of discoveries and experiments are you conducting? asclepius-uranus people may experiment in the health field! eureka-uranus people will likely discover something completely new and unbelievable (like galileo discovering that the sun is the center of our universe). hephaistos-uranus people may invent something brand new. prometheus-uranus people may create something that changes the way we look - maybe trendsetting, makeup looks, etc.
fate
10h
frigga (77) / pandora (55)
why this is useful information: both frigg (who was the fate weaver) and pandora (who shifted the direction of the world with curiosity) can tell you how you can change your fate with their persona charts!
flesh & skin
venus
heracles (5143)
why this is useful information: venus is very famously known as the skin. heracles-venus people may appear very tone or muscular. if venus or heracles aspects mars this could indicate burns (me: *wonders what freddie krugers chart would look like briefly*). venus when negatively aspecting pluto could have very sensitive or easily inflamed skin - this is because pluto can represent debris, pollution, etc.
fog
pisces (12°, 24°)
neptune
why this is useful information: nothing is better than the fog rolling into the field during autumn mornings. where neptune and pisces are located (or ruling) shows where you may not be seeing things clearly. ex: pisces moons tend to not see other’s emotions as clearly as their own or vice versa.
football (athletics, in general)
mars
why this is useful information: lol i don’t like football sooooo no comment? maybe the dislike is the heavy mars i got with that 25° or my saturn trine mars - both saturn and mars are hatred so lol :/!
garlic
aries (1°, 13°, 25°)
mars
why this is useful information: do you like garlic? i know i do - mars at 25° plus an aries 2h - i was begging to love garlic! but, yes, check out your aries/mars influences to see how much you enjoy garlic! bonus if you have an aries moon! if you don’t enjoy garlic you may have a lot of libra energy or a sensitive palate like virgo moons/mars do. but garlic on the halloween level… aries and mars are likely located in the areas you tend to need to repel energetic vampires :))!
hatchets
mars
why this is useful information: mars may indicate where you hack a lot of things out of your life. example: if you have a 7h mars, you may find yourself kicking a partner (romantic or business) to the curb thus hacking them out of your life/cutting them off.
horror
saturn / pluto
why this is useful information: ooooo the horror!!! you may love all things scary if you have a passion planet (venus and/or mars) aspecting saturn or pluto.
hunting
sagittarius (the hunter - 9°, 21°) / capricorn (the cloven foot animal - 10°, 22°)
6h
venus (deer)
artemis (105) / diana (78)
why this is useful information: if you have a lot of sagittarius energy you may be a hunter by nature - especially, if you have a sag artemis or diana. a person with a lot of capricorn energy may be the prey in most situations - this is much the same for venus dominant people. having a mix of the two - like a sag venus - may indicate that you are appreciative of life around you and may not want to waste moments on silly things or waste any opportunities you have. 6h is the act of going hunting so having a sag 6h and/or artemis or diana in your 6h can indicate you participating in hunting season.
magicians, witches, witchcraft, & wizards
scorpio (8°, 20°)
12h
neptune / uranus (wizards) / pluto
circe (32) / medea (212) / loke (4862)
why this is useful information: the more prominence and/or dominance you have of these, the more magical you are. especially, if you have combos like 12h uranus, scorpio circe, medea 12h aspecting neptune, etc.
nutmeg
jupiter
why this is useful information: we love a spice here - am i right?? nutmeg symbolizes sensuality so if you want to know what is most sensual about you - check out your jupiter placement. example: jupiter 3h people have very pleasing voices.
occultism
pisces (12°, 24°)
8h / 12h
neptune / uranus
why this is useful information: are you part of the occult? the occult ensnares all things claiming to know/use supernatural powers to understand things most do not. these are things like astrology, tarot, charms, crystals, etc. having these dominant planets, houses, and/or signs can indicate more power in the occult studies - it could even indicate which area.
owls
moon (4°, 16°, 28°)
why this is useful information: this one is a bit controversial, i believe moon dominant people and asc-moon people look more like owls. some people just talk about a round face and i am here like - y'all look like owls. they may have a prominent forehead or cheekbone area (snowy owl type deal) that draws attention to their eyes. their eyes may be big or seem very perceptive. their noses look slightly downturned or sharp to me.
phantoms
moon / neptune
why this is useful information: have you seen a ghost? do you see dead people like the kid from that m. night shyamalan movie? well if you have strong moon-neptune aspects, i wouldn’t doubt it if you said you have or do see ghosts.
protective circles
sun
why this is useful information: the sun’s location is likely where you have a lot of spiritual protection, while pluto (being the furthest from the sun) may show you where you need extra protection.
pumpkins
cancer (4°, 16°, 28°)
moon
why this is useful information: no comment. because idk what you’d do with this information? if you can think of something, please comment, i am dying here lol.
scarecrows
saturn / uranus
why this is useful information: this hay man’s smell is what allegedly keeps the birds away from the crops. his presence is what farmers believe to be the secret to the health of their crops. how effective is the scarecrow in your chart? saturn and uranus can represent the scarecrow while mars and pluto are the crows - examples: positive aspects between these planets like a mars trine saturn may mean that your defensiveness doesn't do enough to scare away people who are trying to tear apart your hard work. uranus square pluto can indicate that you are defensive enough and people know not to mess with you.
scarves
venus
why this is useful information: do you like scarves? your neck is ruled by taurus, 2h, and venus - hatred are mars and saturn so if you have taurus ruling these planets, planets in the 2h, or these planets negatively aspecting venus you may absolutely hate scarves or anything around your neck!
skulls
aries (1°, 13°, 25°)
1h
saturn
why this is useful information: yes, your skull is strong like ares the model of aries placements because it must protect you - you are nothing without your brain. aries in your chart may indicate how you protect your softer self - for example: aries 4h people likely use their acquired knowledge about life to fend off people who may hurt them. the same goes for the other two 1h pisces people likely feign disinterest to throw people off that they actually care or that their feelings are hurt. saturn 3h people may use their words to say something hurtful to make other people who they view as a threat disappear or leave them alone.
soup
moon
why this is useful information: do you like soup? what kind do you like? do you ever just get a random craving for it?? whelp that’s because of the moon :) the transiting moon may be aspecting your mercury, entering your 6h, and/or be in cancer/virgo! i feel like the people who love soup have sun and/or mercury aspects to their moon. you may especially enjoy soups as a cancer, virgo, scorpio, or capricorn moon - gotta love the warm comforts of soup! people with moon in the 2h (or people in which the 2h ruler aspects the moon) may enjoy stews or meaty stews. chicken noodle soup lovers are often those with 6h moons (or the 6h ruler aspects the moon). and a final random observation about soup - people who like bisques and chowders (like cream of potato, clam chowder, etc.) often have 4h moon placements (or the 4h ruler aspects the moon)!
spiders
saturn
asmodeus (2174) / loke (4862) / sigyn (3631)
why this is useful information: got a fear of spiders? is saturn in your 12h or aspecting your 12h ruler? or perhaps saturn aspects your neptune? you were simply born to fear them then lol - no seriously phobias are psychological responses to promote survival. some people are born in environments where spiders are dangerous and they grow up knowing that. when they are exposed to a spider they simply freak out. people who set spiders free may have jupiter and/or venus aspecting saturn. if you have a deity like those asteroids listed above (they all have a connection to spiders) - look at their persona chart for you. do you see a lot of spiders or spider webs?? do you have a capricorn moon or mercury in their persona chart? maybe aspects from the mercury to saturn? or saturn in the 3h? your recent encounter with a spider may not be by accident then - your deity may be checking on you or trying to get you to speak with them and sending a little messenger your way!
sweaters
jupiter
why this is useful information: everyone loves a good sweater! are you a sweater person though? you may get overheated if you have jupiter negatively aspecting mars! you may have specific needs regarding the fabric if your 2h ruler or venus is aspecting your jupiter (aka a dislike of wool).
tea
neptune
madhatter (6735)
why this is useful information: tea is a popular drink in the cool and cold seasons - especially as more people get sick. but are you a tea person? if you have negative saturn and/or uranus aspects to neptune, tea may seem disappointing to you. but if you have neptune, saturn, and/or uranus aspects to madhatter you likely are addicted to tea - you may be someone who has a drawer or cabinet of different teas! if you are a loose leave tea person and wonder if you could read your tea leaves, you may be adept at it if you have mercury-neptune aspects or neptune in your 3h.
tricks
mercury
hermes (69230) / loke (4862)
why this is useful information: trick or treat? you may be quite clever or talented when it comes to tricks if you have a prominent mercury, hermes, or loki.
turkeys
jupiter
why this is useful information: while pilgrims likely ate some other fowl when the first thanksgiving took place. turkeys symbolize abundance. where your jupiter is in your chart is where you may want to give extra thanks during the thanksgiving season (your welcome i just gave you something to work with when you are asked at the table what you are thankful for this year lol).
warm tone colors (red, orange, yellow, etc.)
aries (1°, 13°, 25°) / sagittarius (9°, 21°)
mars / jupiter
why this is useful information: did you look good in warm autumnal colors? you may have opposition, squares, and other negative aspects from your venus to your mars and/or jupiter! if you have positive aspects, you may look better in brighter reds, oranges, and yellows.

please let me know if you all enjoyed this - i could do another some other time with a new theme! have ideas for new content? please use my “suggest a post topic” button!

Astrology observations🍓🍓🍓
Credit: Tumblr blog @astroismypassion
🍓 Ascendant in the Composite chart shows what the two people have to work on and it might even be the main theme why relationship ended. Example: Virgo Rising needs to take time of the day for each other despite hard responsibilities and duties. Scorpio Rising: there might have been lack of opportunities for deep emotional bonding or building a deep trusted bond and/or (physical) intimacy.
🍓 Scorpio Risings might experience a major turn point in life in form of career change.
🍓 Aries, Gemini and Leo are actually not extroverted Moon signs. They are located in the lower hemisphere, in the personal sphere. So their emotional comfort doesn’t come from outside sources of validation, but rather from within themselves (Aries Moon: their own past life experience and sense of self esteem, Gemini Moon: their own mind and Leo Moon: their own creativity and inner child they nurture).
🍓 Virgo Mars might sleep with someone because of their mind or political beliefs, outlook on life just to prove a point.
🍓 Scorpio placements might try seek justice in completely different situation than original one. Or might ask someone years later about what they think it was fair in given past situation. They will feel wronged even after years, just holding a grudge.
🍓 With a lot of Cancer in the Composite chart, this person might remind you of many situations from your childhood. Or you might feel like you are reliving your childhood and younger years.
🍓 Cancer Mercury/Gemini Mercury in the Composite chart might mean you use slang or street language in your communication.
🍓 For some reason I noticed Leo Venuses really like wearing beige sweaters?
🍓 Leo Venus doesn’t like compliments too much actually. Only genuine ones from time to time. In fact they might not even comment on it if they don’t like it 100 %.
🍓 Also if you have Leo Venus with someone in the Composite chart, make sure to look at the Sun sign since it might affect the Leo Venus effects A LOT.

important details of your birth chart:
no degree of a zodiac sign is the same. see if your sun and moon fall into the first, second, or last ten degrees. that itself gives a different flavor to the placement. look up decans to find out your particular interpretation.
some natal charts don’t show the south node by default but it’s important. it’ll be opposite exactly to your north node. it’s crucial to interpret both nodes at the same time to see where you come from and where you’re going.
the classic asteroids tend to be in most chart selections. ceres, juno, chiron, eros, lilith, these are the ones to check.
a lot of focus goes on the midheaven, but the IC with the 4th house is also essential. if you look at trauma resolution, home life, attitude towards kids, that’s the place to look at.
find out your horoscope shape, it’s a massively interesting topic.
know your hemispheres and what separates them. the ASC is how you appear, the DSC is how others react. the upper hemisphere is your life path essentially, the lower is about your becoming and personality. know that the first six signs are about the person, the last six are public/other-focussed.
secondary progressions (calculator) and transits are your next-level skill to learn if you want to expand your knowledge about your chart in the flow of time.
know what a quincunx is all about, the discord between two parts of you. it’s a tug-of-war aspect to pay some attention to and understand.
astrodienst has a myriad of articles on advanced astrology.

One of the things that is so corny with astrologers is the ambulance chasing factor where you write about an event after it happens. Next week, Kim Kardashian is put in jail for tax evasion. Astrologers everywhere will write about how you were able to see it in her horoscope, despite that not one in the whole world did. So, this is NOT that regarding Will Smith. I didn't know the smack was coming. No astrologer knew it but somewhere, someone is saying, "The Fixed Star SMACKHIM was squaring Smith's Mars and the new asteroid, OSCARWIN was going over his Midheaven." That's how ridiculous we can get. Whether it was last year or 10 years ago, any decent astrologer would have been able to look at 2022 in Will's chart, the first half of it, being subjected to a career focus and/or change in world status because of the transit of Saturn over the Midheaven and the transit of Uranus square the Midheaven. Astrologer, Grant Lewi, in his classic, "Astrology For The Millions," wrote about an architecture of advance with Saturn wherein its transit of the MC suggested the potential peak time in the development of one's ambition. So, at the point when the Oscar nominations came out, you're looking at Will's chart and are not surprised that he was nominated for Male Actor of the Year and that's the end of it. After the fact, you are not surprised that he won but before, no, you're not saying that he is going to win unless you've viewed the charts of the other nominees and compared chances. That Will's chart has a loaded 5th House is not surprising and is even expected because his careers have been totally immersed in creativity. What's not as obvious in what we see of him is Uranus at the Aries Point and its conjunction with the Sun. Uranian people (I am one of them) do not care what everyone else does, thinks, buys, talks about, etc. I'll be on a recording session, social situation or anywhere where there are a number of people and be the only one who does not have an iPhone, for example. Will never came across that way but one's public display is only the public display. A perfect stranger doesn't know how you are privately. The same applies here. The Aries Point is quite similar to the Ascendant degree in the sense of it being what needs to be projected to others so that he has Uranus there and that it ios conjunct the Sun makes him VERY Uranian. Parental tension is strong. There is a lower hemisphere emphasis. Saturn is retrograde and, 85% of the time, that shines a light on the father relationship being problematic in some way. The parental axis rulers, Sun and Uranus, are conjunct. Smith has openly admitted thinking about murdering his father because he was physically abusive to his mother. In life, when this happens, there are usually self-esteem concerns and again, we don't see this in what Smith displays but the horoscope shows the Moon, ruler of the 2nd (self-worth), conjunct Neptune. That spells, "I am uncertain/insecure about my esteem, worth, and value. Quite often, this uncertainty becomes a driving point to prove to others that one is accomplished, good, etc. CONTEST If you have never been a student of mine or bought any of my eBooks, you are eligible for this. I am releasing two books in June. The first person who contacts me at [email protected] and tells me what's shown in Will's chart that suggests above-average success will get those two books for free when released. In the mean time, I want to see an astrologer predict an event for a public person NOW that will occur in the future.

Every time I look at a natal chart I notice everything pointing to their north node. Not in a literal way as in every planet aspecting the north node (although it could be that way, which that is a very apparent and loud message to pay attention to..), what I mean is just the themes of the core natal chart fitting well with what the life mission is. Maybe this is just my being able to synthesize, like a part of astrology is taking even what seems to be the most different or ‘contradicting’ and pulling it together.. I don't know for sure. Two examples that come to mind though, I know of someone having a Taurus stellium but a north node in the sister sign of Scorpio it’s a blatant indicator of needing to balance these opposing themes. Or I know of someone having all of their planets on the northern hemisphere of the chart (lower half of the chart concerned with self development, personal) and they have a Leo north node (the life mission is to essentially work on themselves, follow their heart, rather than externalizing or giving like the lessons of older signs). In some charts it’s obvious, in others it’s very subtle but I still tend to catch it. It’s interesting to me
#I've mentioned this a lot on my blog so I'm sorry for being repetitive but it happened again and I'm always amazed#also this is not fact or whatever its just what I've noticed#astrology#dia talks
