@sunfloweraro I rediscovered the rough pencil sketch I had of Bunny sitting on Wolfie's head that I drew a few months ago, and drew it out completely!

I don't draw fur (or animals) much, but I gave it my best shot :)

Written for @fantomodrako​ for the 2025 Legend of Link Fic Fight! Prompt was “If Link (LU Legend) has a rabbit form, then what does his rabbit-themed Lorulean counterpart turn into? Link and Ravio end up transformed somehow.”

Characters: Link / LU Legend, Ravio Words: 545

Summary: Link held up his hand. “Okay, then. I bet a purple rupee that you’ll become a purple bunny.”

“It’s a deal,” Ravio said, snatching the rupee and pocketing it in his bag before Link could react. -- Link challenges Ravio to find out what he becomes when transformed.

Link held his tunic in one hand and his satchel in the other. “You’re going to have to get off my bed.”

Ravio was sprawled out on the sheets with a pile of rupees grouped by color in front of him. “Hmm?” he said, holding up a rupee before stuffing it away. “I’m organizing.”

Link sighed. “It’s getting late, Ravio. Off.”

“Why?” He flopped backward with a grin. “Because you need to burrow up like the little bunny you are?”

“Oh yeah? If I’m a bunny, what are you?” Link said, smirking.

Ravio blinked. “Uhh… I don’t actually know.” He sat up straighter. “Lorule isn’t the Dark World. I’ve never seen what I would become.”

Link paused for a moment and began to put his tunic back on. “I have an idea. Let’s go find out.”

“And what exactly is this idea, Mr. Hero?” Ravio asked, standing up. “How are you going to transform me anyway? The Dark World’s the Sacred Realm now, right?”

Link nodded. “The corruption is gone, but some of the magic still remains. I didn’t realize that either, until Zelda and I made our wish in the Sacred Realm after my journey.”

“And she saw your fluffy pink fur?” Ravio smiled.

“Don’t remind me,” he said, playfully smacking his friend on the back.

“I don’t know…”

Link held up his hand. “Okay, then. I bet a purple rupee that you’ll become a purple bunny.”

“It’s a deal,” Ravio said, snatching the rupee and pocketing it in his bag before Link could react.

“Hey!”

“I’ll give it back if you’re right. But only if you promise to transform too.”

Link reached into his pouch, took out his moon pearl, and placed it on the table. “Fine. Come with me.”

Kakariko Village was only a few minutes from Link’s home. Link led Ravio along the path, the former taking a moment to look at the bird statue spinning in the wind as he walked by it. They reached a spot near a fence, and Link slipped on his power bracelets and lifted the rock blocking their path. He pointed at the swirling blue portal it revealed. “There it is.”

Ravio squinted and peered in. “You first.”

“Coward,” Link said, stepping forward. The light of the portal swallowed him, and his shadow became fluffy with big ears and a tail.

“Ha!” Ravio laughed after he jumped in too. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen your bunny form before. You’re even cuter than I thought.”

Link just stared at him. “What… are you?”

“So what did he turn into?” Wind asked after Legend told the story to them one night, although he had left out any details about his own transformation.

Legend shrugged. “That’s the thing. I have no idea. He had yellow eyes, this blue, heart-shaped face, four legs, a tail, and some antlers. All I know is that he wasn’t quite a bunny.”

“Sounds like a Blupee,” said Wild.

“A what?”

“A Blupee. I hit one once, and it dropped like a hundred rupees.”

Legend’s face twisted, thinking back to Ravio’s rupee-patterned belt, his slightly overpriced item renting service, and the way he hoarded every single rupee he found even if it was only a single green one. He laughed. “It suits him.”

I really want legend to have really weird nightmares

Just the worst nightmare, you can think of

playing old memories making up new horrible ones

Just if it’s bad, it happened but also 

Sometimes they're just an incredibly vivid dream of him being allergic to apples

 or him not looking good and green

Or his hair is naturally pink it’s not because of the bunny transformation 

Just really stupid nightmares that he can’t bring himself to talk about which makes things really awkward when he wakes up crying and people try to make him talk about his dreams, saying it will help  

When he just dreamed about an apple becoming sentient 

And then it became his friend in a beautiful friendship bloomed and Ravio then ate it 

It’s a tomato, but it gets the idea across ^

FINALLY WAS ABLE TO DO THIS!!! This is for @sprite-and-the-bunnydragons' 100+ follower dwtiys! Bunny and/or dragon was the prompt, so I decided to stick poor bunny Legend in front of one of Hyrule's Gleeoks <3
