How Does A Good Girl Go To Hell? Ch. 2
Chapter 2
My eyes opened to a red ceiling above me and a soft bed beneath me. Slowly I sat up, rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I then looked around, taking in the room. Deep reds were everywhere…and surprisingly hearts.
“What…where…” I mumbled to myself. It was then that I recalled the events that happened before passing out.
“That’s right…I…I ended up in Hell.” I muttered to myself. “But this…this room is so nice…”
I looked to the right of the bed and noticed a small yellow duck on the nightstand. It was dressed up to look like the little mermaid and there was a card next to it that said, “Welcome to The Hazbin Hotel, Ariel! We are happy to have you here!”
“What in the world? How…how can this be hell?” I asked as I picked up the little toy.
That was when I noticed my hands. My skin…was gray. I had always been a bit on the pale side… but gray?! I kicked the covers aside and walked towards mirror I saw hanging on the wall. I took a deep breath before looking at my reflection. My skin was gray all over…my hair…it was once red…now it was white. But that wasn’t the most surprising of my traits…but my eyes.
My eyes were…completely different. I looked like some Halloween monster with these eyes. The whites of my eyes were now black and the iris was yellow with a still black pupil. I blinked a few times as if I could clear my vision, but it wasn’t changing. “I just…this doesn’t seem real…”
Upon opening my mouth, I saw that my teeth were sharp and pointy. “What…”
It was then that I remembered the spider guy who had saved me earlier. Angel had been his name. I wondered if he was somewhere nearby. I took a deep breath and headed towards the door, opening it up and stepping out into a long hallway.
“This place must be huge.” I muttered to myself as I started to wander around. “Hopefully I can find my way around here.”
Meanwhile downstairs…
“What do you think, Vaggie?” Charlie asked, an excited smile on her face as she finished hanging up a banner that read “Welcome Ariel!”
Nifty was vigorously cleaning the room, while Husk was getting drinks ready. Charlie had already hung up balloons and streamers. Vaggie was smiling at Charlie, but thinking of a way to help out. She had only been gone for a short while and somehow Charlie had put all of this together.
“It looks great, Babe.” Vaggie began, “And i know you wanna welcome Ariel and that you’re excited, but…well I mean Angel did say she passed out after learning she was in Hell. Maybe we should just…tone it down a little?”
“I thought about that, but then well…wouldn’t it be good for her if she can see that it’s not so bad here?” Charlie replied. “I thought maybe if she sees that at least here at the hotel is super nice and welcoming, Hell wouldn’t seem so scary…besides she’s a fresh soul. Maybe she’ll be a little more eager for redemption.”
“I know you have good intentions.” Vaggie replied. “And I admire how positive you are and how much you want to help her. Seriously your big kind caring heart is one of the things I love most about you. I just think maybe we should get to know Ariel first before we do such a big party. Too much at once might not work for her.”
Charlie sighed. “I know…you’re right…maybe we can just leave the banner?”
Before Vaggie could respond, Lucifer was coming into the room carrying a large gift basket. It was filled to the brim with an assortment of items one might find useful to have in Hell…and a large duck. “What do you think of the welcome basket I made, Charlie? Do you think this will go well with all of the decorations I put up?”
“Wait, YOU put up all of the decorations?” Vaggie asked.
“Of course!” Lucifer answered, smiling brightly. “I mean, I want to help make my little girl’s dream come true. So I want to make this hotel the best place in all of Hell!”
I know exactly where Charlie gets it from. Vaggie thought, thinking of just how alike the father and daughter were. “I see.”
“It looks great, Dad!” Charlie exclaimed. She was then looking at Vaggie. “Can we please keep the banner and the gift basket? Aren’t they nice touches?”
“What? Why would we get rid of any of it?” Lucifer asked.
Vaggie repressed a sigh. She loved Charlie and her eternal optimism…she found it charming and endearing. And she honestly had to admit…it was sweet seeing Lucifer and Charlie bonding like this. “I just thought you know, it all might be a little much at once.”
“Oh…I…I see.” Lucifer said, taking on the look of a sad puppy.
“She might have a point, Dad.” Charlie said, also looking like a sad puppy.
Oh no…now I have two of them. Vaggie thought as she looked at their dejected faces. “Ugh… okay maybe we can keep a few of the decorations and the gift basket…”
“Yay!” Charlie and Lucifer said in unison.
“Hey what in the world are you guys doing?” Angel asked as he came into the room.
“Just trying to put together a warm welcome for our newest resident.” Charlie answered, smiling brightly.
Angel looked over at Vaggie. “You didn’t try to get them to tone it down a little?”
“I tried…but…just look at them…” Vaggie replied, gesturing to how excited the father and daughter looked.
“I see your point.” Angel replied.
“I just want her to not feel so bad about being here, that’s all.” Charlie said. “Let her see that she has a nice place here.”
Just then they could hear the sound of the elevator dinging and the doors opening. They all watched as Ariel hesitantly stepped off the elevator. Her eyes went wide as she looked around. “What in the world…”
Charlie was instantly buzzing over to her and taking both of her hands in hers. “Hi, Ariel, I’m Charlie and I just wanted to make sure you felt a nice warm welcome here to our hotel!” She was so tall, she towered over Ariel.
“Sweetie, back up just a bit.” Vaggie said, coming over and placing a hand on Charlie’s shoulder.
“Oh, right, right.” Charlie said.
Ariel was looking around the room and her eyes locked on Angel. “You brought me here?”
Angel nodded as he came over. “Yeah, I promise you, you’re safe here.” He said. “Little Miss Sunshine here just loves to help people.” He said, cautiously lifting a hand to pat her on the head.
Ariel nodded. “So…where exactly is here? And who are all of you?”
Charlie was smiling excitedly at her once again. “Right, so I am Charlie. The owner of the Hotel. This is Vaggie, my partner. You’ve already met Angeldust, one of our residents. That’s Husk over there. He’s our bartender. This Nifty, our maid. Alastor is around here somewhere. And then this is my dad, Lucifer.”
Lucifer was then coming over to greet Ariel. He awkwardly held out his hand. “Hello and welcome, Ariel.” He greeted her with a smile.
Ariel’s eyes went wide as she stared at Lucifer’s hand, unable to bring herself to say a word.
Lucifer stood there a moment before letting out an awkward cough as he brought both of his hands up to fix his lapels. “Anyway, we are glad you’re at the hotel.” He said, doing his best to fight off a dejected look and keep up a cool front.
“Haha, looks like your reputation precedes you.” Came the sarcastic voice of Alastor as he suddenly appeared beside Lucifer.
Lucifer glared at the radio demon. “Listen here, you…”
“Dad, Alastor…can you guys not do this right now?” Charlie asked, keeping a smile on her face as she glanced sideways at Ariel who was looking stunned.
“Come on, I think you need a drink.” Husk said to Ariel as he and Angel moved to either side of her and gently guided her to the bar. “What do you like?”
“I…I’m not really a drinker.” Ariel replied.
“We’ll start you off with something easy then.” Husk said, putting together the lowest alcohol content drink he could.
“I don’t know…” Ariel said as she looked at the drink. “When I said I’m not much of a drinker, what I meant was I’ve never drank…drunkeness was a big no no and…”
“Sweetie, you’re already dead and in hell.” Angel replied, patting her on the back. “Drinking won’t kill ya here and ya can’t be condemned twice.”
Ariel looked at the drink, clearly thinking back to her human life.
“We won’t make you drink.” Husk said. “But it might help your nerves a little.”
Ariel nodded. “Alright…” She was then taking a sip and coughing instantly. “Ugh…that burns…”
Angel and Husk both blinked. “That was the weakest drink I’ve ever made.”
“I told you…I’m not a drinker.” Ariel replied, but she took another sip of the drink anyways. Maybe it would help and if she drank more…maybe it wouldn’t be so bad.
“So, you remember how you died?” Husk asked Ariel.
“Do you really think that’s a good question to ask?” Charlie asked, looking at Husk.
It was then that Ariel bolted upright, her eyes wide. “I…I was in a car accident…I was in my friend’s car…OH MY GOD! Here I am wallowing in self pity about being in Hell…when I don’t know what happened to my friend! I don’t…I don’t know if she’s okay….or if she’s here…or in Heaven…”
“What was your friend’s name?” Lucifer asked, breaking from his glaring contest with Alastor to look at the new resident. “I can find out if she’s alive for you.”
Ariel looked to the king of Hell…the devil himself. She was trying to gauge whether she could trust him or not. Her whole life she’d been told the devil was a liar and master of deception. “Uhm…Anna Green.” She finally answered.
Lucifer nodded and then waved his hands, golden magic flowing and creating a bubble that floated between his hands. Soon an image of her best friend popped up. She was lying in a hospital bed and definitely looked banged up, but she was breathing and her eyes were open. Her husband and daughter were in the room with her, holding her hand.
“Oh, she’s…she’s alive and with her family…I’m so glad.” Ariel said, letting out a sigh of relief.
Lucifer held the magic for a few more moments before letting it disappear. He gave her a smile. “There anyone else you want to check up on?”
Ariel shook her head. “Not…not right now….uhm thank you.”
“Sure.” Lucifer replied, as looked at the young woman. All he had ever wanted was to help mankind…and he was glad that he had been able to help her even if only for a moment.
“Are you feeling a little bit better now?” Charlie asked, coming up to the other side of Ariel and placing a hand on her shoulder.
“I…some relief…but I still…I still don’t know why I’m here.” Ariel replied, picking up the drink Husk had made her and taking another sip. “I mean…I thought…I thought I was doing everything right…”
“Well, we’ll get you into Heaven.” Charlie declared.
“Huh?” Ariel asked.
“That’s what this hotel is for.” Charlie declared, smiling brightly. She was then taking in a deep breath as if she were about to start singing.
“Babe, wait…” Vaggie said, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Maybe wait just a second…” But there was no stopping Charlie now.
Charlie was pulling Ariel up to her feet and starting to do a little dance as she sang a welcoming song explaining the mission of the hotel. “Welcome to my ho-tel! You’ll forget you’re in Hell!...”
“She never stops does she?” Angel asked looking at Vaggie.
Vaggie shook her head, though she was watching Charlie with a fond smile. “No, but it’s one of the things I love about her.”

Adjusting
The commander of the Illuminati slowly opened his emerald eyes, everything looking a bit blurry to the demon king. He cursed under his breath, which was being assisted by the help of a ventilator. He assumed while he was asleep, he stopped breathing and one of his aids put the damn machine in him. Damn; when would this hell be over? No pun intended.
Demonic eyes slowly adjusting to his surroundings, he notices he is in his usual room in the Illuminati headquarters. Since finally getting a vessel that can sustain his tremendous power, he was able to do daily tasks, help in meetings, etc. The bleeding finally stopped and his skin healed, allowing him to finally show his quite handsome face. Many of his facial atributes started to show on the body, meaning he was finally getting in control. Blonde golden hair, emerald eyes and a sharp face on pale perfect skin.
Everything was going well until the coughing started again and he was forced to wear the mask on meetings and now it seemed he stopped breathing all together during the night, resulting in the ventilator.
Trying to get up, he whimpers slightly and quietly, hoping no one noticed.

The Thorn and the Rose
A/N: Well, I made this and it's my first attempt at a risque kind of fanfiction. I don't know if Lucifer is an angel of music in SPN, but he is in Christian lore, so...yeah. He's still tough and stuff.
Fire. She saw fire. It was all she saw. Everyday the heat of the flames caressed her face like an embrace. She welcomed it. She welcomed the feeling of boiling skin under the heat. It reminded her that she was alive. She was still here. She was still kicking. And one day, the day the humans would regret, she would leave. And she would set the world on fire.
Being stuck in the cage wasn’t easy for Avital, especially when she was stuck with Satan himself. No one knew of her presence there. Not the angels, not the demons. Sometimes she wondered if she was just but a figure of Lucifer’s imagination.
She had been there since he had been there. One day she was just there, out of the blue. She had looked around her and was frightened. Yes, she had been frightened by the flames that she now embraced. And she had been frightened by the angel she now loved.
Love...that was a strange word. Lucifer didn’t know if he loved her. He knew what love was like. He loved his brothers, and he loved his Father. But this love, if he was to call it that, was different. It was like a burning passion. The same passion Adam shared for Eve. He despised it, it made him feel human. But at the same time, he reveled in it. He soaked himself in it. This new feeling. This new sensation. This new being.
A soulmate? No. Lucifer knew angels didn’t have soulmates. Avital, at least that’s what he called her, was more of a sin. She was his sin. Chest against her back, he hummed meaninglessly in her ear. She joined along. A beautiful, sinful melody. Afterall, he was the angel of music.
Voice deep and baritone, hers was light and soprano. His arms were wrapped tightly around her waist, as if if he was to let go, she would disappear. She cupped his hands in hers, tilting her neck so he could trail chaste kisses up it. They did this perhaps everyday, since they had nothing better to do.
Ravishing and alluring, their game of seduction carried on throughout the centuries. Voices a mix of good and evil, time and space, the cage was their home. “What say you,” she breathed. “What say anyone in the midst of all. Keep me wrapped in your arms forever more, but hold me tight as you would a grain of sand. I am the lamb, you are the lion. I worship you and you me. Forever I stay with your voice at my ear. Tell me, my lord, what say you.”
Lust and passion was a drug and they were mere victims of its effects. “I say that you are my muse,” Lucifer responded, lips trailing up and down her jaw. “I say that you are my light, my grace. I am fire, you are ice. My grace trembles in your presence. My wings fold on your behalf. You are the rose, I am the thorn. This I say in solemn truth. Let me take you once more.”
Their voices travelled through Hell. The lion and the lamb. The rose and the thorn. Their passion echoed in the head of every being that dragged itself through Hell’s fiery, dark pit. Clutching head and lung went forth to bestow evil upon mankind, the sweet words of their Master forever chanting.
And then there was only one voice. The soprano. The lamb. The rose. Her lion and thorn had been set free, leaving her to sing their song until her escape as well. Lonesomely she skipped around the cage, creating mirage of flowers and wreaths, for that is what she remembered from her previous life...life before the cage. She circled and circled, drunk on loneliness and longing. Her baritone did not sing for her. His hands did not travel. Their eyes did not search anymore.
Only one now, the lamb lie in the cage, staring up at the top. “Show me the sky and I will become bird. Show me the green grass and I shall become rabbitt. Show me my love and I shall become lover.” Her hand went up as if to grasp something that wasn’t there. “But my love is gone and now so am I. So what am I? I am shown Hell, so I am fire.” And she relinquished her grasp on her physical body and slipped through the bars, because she was angel nor demon, and the cage was not fashioned for her. She was fire.
As soon as her feet touched the hard ground, she collapsed. Never had she felt something other than the cold metal of the cage. Lucifer would always describe how beautiful Heaven was, and he showed her lovely images, but she never actually felt them. Her feet writhed under the sharp rock. She tried to move but she wasn’t able. Her body refused to listen; it wanted to go back in the cage. She tried but her fingers were repelled and she was sent flying back. Through the fiery wall she went, and landed on the other side with a pained ‘oof’. “Help!” she cried.
Her cries did not reach Lucifer, who was busying himself with the apocalypse. But the lion was not lion without his lamb. So she pulled herself up and dragged herself forwards. Her skin peeled under jagged rock and blood became her breadcrumbs. For days she travelled as though limp, until finally she collapsed at the portal to Earth. Her breath was ragged, her hair stuck to her face from the gallons of sweat she had worked up. In the cage she was never hungry, never thirsty, but now she felt. She felt. It drove her wild. She loved this hurt. She felt real. She wasn’t a figment of his imagination, she was her.
She plunged into the portal head first, free falling down. It yanked her up and down and sideways, and all in between. Her lungs were being ripped out and put back. She felt like she was a baby in the womb first being made. She let out strangled cries of pain. Her entire soul was being pulled out of a different dimension, and damn right it hurt.
And then she landed. A horrible, hard land. Directly on her back, she gazed up at a dull stone sky. “It is not as he described,” she said sadly. Her bones mended as she got up. This was a church, where Lucifer’s Father’s followers came to worship him. But it was not a beautiful cathedral like that in England or Russia. Instead it was broken and abandoned. Leaves littered the floor, pews were smashed everywhere. Candles were lit and shining. Fire.
She walked towards them, putting her hands just a bit too close. They weren’t like the fire she was used to. She snuffed them out with her fingers. “Too light, starlight.” She walked out of the scorched wooden doors.  Lucifer must have been here. “Perhaps then, he can hear me now.” And so she prayed. Instantly a presence was behind her. “You’ve come,” a different voice breathed in her ear.
She turned around, almost gasping. “You have a new face,” she pointed out. Lucifer, instead of beautiful and light, was now human. The human wore a green shirt and a dark green button up shirt, blue jeans, and dark shoes. Light stubble littered his face, reminding her of a porcupine. She stroked his cheek softly. “I’ve missed my thorn,” she whispered. “And I my rose,” he answered, bumping their foreheads together. “I shall make you my queen, and we will rule Heaven, Hell and Earth. All shall bow before you. Mountains will crumble by your decree.”
She caressed his hair, intertwining her slim fingers in his now blonde hair. “Then I shall be your mountain, and you will be my sea.” She crashed her lips to his feverishly. Moist and soft, his lips tasted of alcohol. “Your vessel suffered,” she pointed out. “A broken man fills his wounds with ale.” Lucifer’s breath warmed her own lips, his eyes searching hers. “His suffering is over now. Say it and his soul will be sent to Heaven.” Again their lips connected. This time her hands found themselves cupping his cheeks, pulling him closer. “Do not wrong him. He has given up much for you.”
His lips left fluttery kisses up and down her neck as she continued to comb through his hair. “Anything.” He drew away, keeping her face firmly between his strong hands. “Anything.” She smiled. “Then let us go forth and conquer. My love is my poison. I have no choice but to follow you. I am slave to my passion.”
Hand in hand, they disappeared from the church. The lion and the lamb, the rose and the thorn, the mountain and the sea, the love and the lover. Defeated later on, they were trapped back in the cage. But the world would see them once again, for that was balance. Their song would grace the world forever.

How Does A Good Girl Go to Hell?
Chapter 1: Waking Up In Hell
Chapter 1
I wasn’t sure what happened. I was in the backseat of my friend’s car one minute…and then I think there was an accident…I think I remember a crash…glass, screaming…blood everywhere…and then nothing. Then the next thing I knew I woke up on pavement, but it wasn’t the street I remembered being on.
I took in my surroundings, trying to figure out what was going on. The sky was red…almost like it was on fire. “It…it wasn’t sunset…it was still early…” I muttered as I looked around.
That was when I heard screams. I jumped and started to look around, trying to figure out where the screams were coming from. That was when I realized…screams were coming from all directions. “What…what kind of…this…this doesn’t look like my hometown…”
“You look lost little one.”
I turned at the sound of a silky voice…and saw what appeared to be a wolf in a suit. There were also what appeared to be a shark…some other humanoid animals. “What?” I asked, feeling panic begin to set in. “I…I’m in a coma and this is some dream caused by the drugs the doctors are pumping into me? That’s the only explanation.” I muttered to myself.
“Heh, you just get here, sweetheart?” The sharkman spoke.
“Fresh meat.” The wolf spoke with a grin, showing all of his VERY sharp teeth.
“I…I…uh…I think I need to uhm…get out of here.” I pushed myself up and took off running. I had no idea where I was running, but I knew I had to get away.
I wasn’t paying attention and I ended up running into someone…or something and fell backwards. “Hey watch it.”
I looked up and saw a very tall and thin…I don’t know what. It was white and pink, almost spider like…and I think it had boobs? I really wasn’t sure. “I-I’m sorry…I just…”
It seemed like the facial expression softened. They reached a hand out to me. “Hey, you okay?”
“I…I don’t know.” I confessed, feeling tears stinging my eyes, taking the offered hand. “I just…I woke up here…and I don’t know what’s going on and…”
Just then I heard the voice of the guys who had been chasing me. “There she is!”
“Here, get behind me.” The strange…guy…person thing, said as they pulled me behind them.
I watched as my savior somehow grew a second set of arms and pulled machine guns from…well I didn’t want to think where they might be from. “Hey you stay away from her!” The next thing I knew this…spider person was blasting my pursuers until they were nothing but a bloody mess on the street.
My eyes went wide and I felt my stomach churning. I had seen violence on TV and in movies…but this…this felt different.
“Hey, you okay?”
I looked up at the stranger again, feeling afraid now. “I…”
They put their guns away and their second arms disappeared. “I promise, I’m not gonna hurt ya. Name’s Angel. What’s your name sweetheart?”
I took a minute to look my protector up and down. I was still scared, but Angel hadn’t hurt me…protected me in fact. “Uhm, it’s Ariel.” I answered, placing my hand in theirs allowing Angel to help me up.
“Oh, you could be the little mermaid. There’s definitely a kink for that.”
I jumped at the sound of an accented voice from behind. I turned to see someone who looked like some other bug dressed like…a pimp and heart-shaped glasses. Angel was pulling me behind their back once again.
“Hey, no way Val.” Angel said, glaring hard.
“Come on, Angeldust.”
“Hey, I’m off for the day.” Angel replied.
I watched as the…pimp blew red smoke that somehow formed a chain around Angel’s wrist. “I own you.”
“Yeah, in the studio, but not out here.” Angel replied, pulling on the chain and then flipping off that one they called Val. “And I ain’t lettin’ you own someone else either.”
Val pulled on the chain till Angel fell to their knees. “Whatever. I’ll see you in the studio tomorrow and you’ll be working ALL NIGHT.” The smoke chain disappeared and then Val walked away.
“Are…are you okay?” I asked Angel.
Angel looked up at me with a smile. “Yeah. Now come on, let me take ya some place safe.”
“Thank you, for helping me.” I replied.
Angel then gestured for me to follow as they started walking down the street. “Hey we all had a first bad day here.”
“Where..where exactly is here?” I asked. “I remember being in a car crash…am I in a coma?”
“No tutz…you’re dead.” Angel told me.
“I’m dead?” I asked, my eyes going wide. “Wait…if…if that’s true then…where…where am I?”
“Hell, honey.” Angel answered.
“What? But…but that can’t be. I…I was a good girl…” I replied, so confused.
Angel gave me a sympathetic look. Then pointed up at the sky. “You think THAT would be in Heaven?”
I looked to where Angel was pointing and saw a pentagram in the sky. My eyes widened in disbelief. “No…this…this isn’t right…” I could feel the ground slipping out from under my feet, my vision blurring.
“Hey, Ariel…” Angel said, their voice seeming distant. The last thing I saw was the pentagram above me before the blackness of unconsciousness consumed me.
Angel sighed as he caught Ariel before she could hit the ground. “Didn’t know you were gonna take it so hard.” He muttered as he used his second set of arms to carry her. “Poor kid.”
Luckily Ariel was light and Angel was relatively strong. He was able to carry her back to the hotel with little exertion. “You’ve been out for a while longer than usual.” Husk said, looking up from cleaning the bar.
“Yeah, well, I kinda ran into some trouble.” Angel replied.
Husk lifted an eyebrow as he saw the unconscious girl in Angel’s arms. “What happened?”
“Angel, I thought you were doing so much better.” Vaggie’s angry voice sounded. “Also…I didn’t think you liked girls.”
Angel shot a look at Vaggie. “Hey it ain’t nothin’ like that. Poor thing is a new arrival. She passed out when she learned she was in Hell…after gettin’ chased by some hungry mobsters.”
“We have a new soul?” Came Charlie’s cheerful voice.
“Hang on, she might not wanna stay here.” Angel said. “But…we should at least give her a safe place until she decides what she wants ta do.”
Charlie nodded. “Yes, of course. It has to be her choice.”
“Alright, let’s get her to a room.” Vaggie agreed.
“Yeah and when she wakes up, we shouldn’t crowd her or anything okay?” Angel spoke up. “We don’t need ta overwhelm her.”
“Of course, of course.” Charlie agreed. She was then holding out her arms. “Here, I’ll take her to a room for you. You already carried her all the way here.”
“Nah, I got her.” Angel replied, heading for the stairs. He carried Ariel up to an empty room and laid her down in the bed, tucking her in under the covers. “Get some rest, Ariel. You’re gonna need it. These people here…they’re a little crazy, but they’re good people…you’re gonna be exhausted from it all I’m sure.” He was then exiting the room, leaving Ariel to rest. He had a feeling this was gonna be rough for her.
