Timeline weirdness aside, this is a sweet letter. We get a glimpse of a bubblier, happy Lucy again for a bit! And she gets to be happy with Arthur! They're very cute together, very comfortable with one another. I especially like how active they both are:

By the way, I forgot to tell you that Arthur is here. We have such walks and drives, and rides, and rowing, and tennis, and fishing together; and I love him more than ever.

Plus they literally have a running "I love you more" "but you said you couldn't love me more than you already did, gotcha!" joke going. They're so cute.

As a long-time fan of Stoker's book, Daily Dracula has me absolutely stoked because after decades of movie and TV adaptations slipping further and further from Stoker's work, and watering down Count Dracula's character into a generic romantic vampire and his enemies into milquetoast Victorian twats, the Internet is rediscovering that "Dracula" is really about a Victorian D&D party going full murderhobo on a megalomaniacal vampire supervillain as revenge for vamping their polycule sweetheart.
