он смотрит, как она обнажает меч в очередном бою, как она оглядывается по сторонам в ожидании атаки противника, как она смахивает кровь с губы после удара, который не заметила краем глаз, потеряв бдительность. он смотрит, а сердце бешено колотится. страшно, страшно за сестру. хоть он знает, что она справится с любой напастью, но всё равно сердце отстукивает болезненный ритм. а вдруг?.. итэр тут же машет головой влево-вправо. дурные мысли снова лезут внутрь и так поломанного к чёрту сознания.

принц бездны всегда смотрит за путешественницей.

наблюдает издалека, как она обустраивает ночлег, разжигая костёр и раскладывая покрывало на хладную землю. люмин говорит с паймон, улыбается, та только делает жест топота ног по воздуху и по-детски ворчит. в ответ лишь тёплый смех. итэр его слышит, чувствует, что тепло её голоса... размораживает его чёрствое ледяное сердце. обледеневшее, закоченевшее, и так все пятьсот лет.

пятьсот лет после падения каэнриах... тогда он видел ярость небесного порядка, на что она способна. и он помнил, что видел похожее много раз, когда они путешествовали по мирам. видел и говорил об этом люмин много раз, но люмин лишь грустно пожимала плечами. в какой-то степени он её понимал: сам не знал, что это и что делать.

однако теперь он знает.

принц бездны снова смотрит за путешественницей. печалится, когда печалится она, бросая взгляд на звёзды. слышит, что она говорит, как они любили считать кометы. слышит, что она говорит... говорит про него.

он ушёл. ушёл без слов.

"прости меня, люмин. я знаю, каково тебе сейчас. и я ненавижу себя, что заставил тебя стра��ать. но ты должна сама прийти к тому, к чему пришёл я. я не хочу заставлять тебя, пусть ты узришь всю истину своими глазами".

паймон приободряет люмин, та натягивает на уста усталую улыбку. а затем обе упирает руки в бока и кричат на самый верх:

- мы тебе покажем, небесный порядок!

- да, мы ещё посмотрим, кто кого!

итэр слышит... и сам улыбается. он счастлив, что она не грустит.

но затем он мрачнеет. также поднимает голову к звёздам и шепчет:

- мы ещё посмотрим, кто кого...

HSH - April Prompt + Server Opening

Welcome to April. This month I've based the prompt around the beta kids for 4/13 :)

Aaaand, since we've got a mod team together, Homestuck Hangout is now a formally open server! The invite below should not expire (though if it does, I should have one somewhere in my pinned post.)

If you're new around here this is my sprite server based around sprite games and, as you can see, my monthly prompt. You don't need to be a spriter to join it!

This month's prompt:

Make a set of sprites based on or around the beta kids! This can be swaps of them or OCs based on them, or something else!

If you get bored with that you can always expand out to other groups.

OTPs:

Xiaother - Lbr, no one is shocked by this. It's probably one of the single most popular ships with Aether, and I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't down bad for it. I feel no shame in admitting it~

Scarather - Also one of my favorite ships for Wanderer. The potential development is just so good, and lord knows I'm a sucker for former enemies to lovers!

Albether - "If one day, I lose control, destroy mondstadt, destroy everything, can I rely on you to stop me?" Enough. Fucking. Said. UGH.

Lynther - Lyney's so fucking down bad for the Traveler, like - I cannot. Plz sir, get some subtlety. I love the potential though, especially for Aether learning to trust Lyney.

Ayather - The moment I saw the cutscene with Ayaka dancing for the Traveler during her chapter, I'd fallen in love. They're seriously adorable and no one can tell me otherwise.

nOTPs:

Lumither - FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. EW.

Either - Because apparently this is a thing and I just... cannot see it. There's really not enough chemistry between them and I know that for my Aether, personally, he's still very uneasy around Ei.

Beyond those, literally just the obviously child characters. There are very few ships who I won't consider for the Traveler, but the ones on the OTPs list are definitely top 5.
