Some post-drift quiet time for the k-sci nerds

I've read so many awesome "what happens to them post-Drift" things so I felt the need to contribute my own version

I just imagine it's hours after cancelling the apocalypse, celebrations are happening elsewhere, or they've ended or have been postponed cuz everyone is dead tired. Newt and Hermann have found themselves desperate for quiet time so they retreat to some dark corner of the Shatterdome. Not the lab, not either of their rooms - those spaces feel like Too Much Complication for Now. They just bonk their heads together cuz they don't know what else to do - words don't feel like enough or they feel Too Much - and, well, *waves hand*
