#Langeoog ist eine der #Nordseeinseln vor der Küste #Deutschlands. Sie ist eine der sieben bewohnten deutschen #Ostfriesischen #Inseln und die einzige im #Nationalpark #Wattenmeer. Die Insel ist etwa 13 Kilometer lang und 3,5 Kilometer breit und hat etwa 2.700 Einwohner. Langeoogs erste Bewohner waren im 13. Jahrhundert friesische Fischer. Seitdem ist die Insel vor allem für deutsche Urlauber ein beliebtes #Touristenziel. Die Hauptattraktionen der Insel sind ihre Sandstrände, ihre malerische Dorfatmosphäre und ihre natürliche Schönheit. Langeoog ist auch ein beliebtes Ziel für #Vogelbeobachter, da hier eine große #Eiderentenkolonie beheimatet ist. The Valkyrie's stare was as deep and unyielding as it'd been completely unreadable... Had Maxwell been standing any closer, perhaps it would have been more obvious to tell when her gaze had been flickering to and fro- from the darks of his eyes, to the glistening of his cherished blade, then back to meet his gaze again.

The wind whistled, cold and unyielding... Though spring would pounce upon them soon enough, the biting chill of the air had no intent to relinquish its bitterness quite yet. It tousled the frayed ends of her braids... It'd been the only part of her that dared to move.

Her chest rose, fell, then stagnated... As though there'd been something she longed to say, but had been reconsidering... Struggling to find the proper words... Struggling to make sense of his actions.

"... Maxwell."

Her stance dropped at once, shoulders slackening as she approached him, gesturing with her spear as though she were a teacher waving about a harmless ruler.

"Apölögies, friend, but this is entirely wröng. Just löök at the pösitiöning öf thy feet. See, there? The right fööt jutting öut as it is? We've nöt even exchanged first blöws and I can already predict yöur öpening möve; twöuld have been a rightways strafe and a lunging slash förwards, wöuldn't it?"

Wigfrid couldn't resist the way her head shook, a huff of breath escaping her nose as she studied the fellow... What was she going to do with him?

"... I can see why yöu were sö keen ön requesting anöther sessiön... We've göt a bit öf wörk cut öut för us, dön't we?"

Am Heiligen Abend kam ich eher zufällig mit einer Möve ins Gespräch. Sie war nett, wir verstanden uns auf Anhieb. Sie sprach mit Mut zu, wünschte mir viel Glück. Und erzählte aus ihrem eigenen Leben, sie habe es auch nicht immer leicht gehabt. Als ich anfing, von meiner Exfrau zu erzählen, flog sie einfach davon.
