Was it just me, or was the October 30th "Scary Fast" Apple Event a really odd departure from the events of the past. Usually, Apple events feel all high and mighty. They try to pretend like they're the only tech company in the world, and that you should be thankful they're even giving you the opportunity to buy such a product.

For "Scary Fast," though, it felt like Apple getting on their hands and knees and being like "PLEEEEEASE buy our products! Please please please!!! We need you buy our Macs so bad.
