Vampira 2

Day 4 of my Not Valentine's Pose Dump and here's another vampire set that I made for Sue & Chloe! 🥰 Pack contains 6 couple poses against a wall (or window, or door, etc.), plus all-in-ones. Poses were made with femme rigs and as always there may be clipping or floating depending on Sim clothing and body type.

Please note: during testing I noticed that on one of my Sims, her Magic Bot teeth poked through the sides of her mouth in some poses! This didn't happen when she had EA teeth in, or on other Sims of mine with Magic Bot teeth, or on the Sims of the people who commissioned me; so I think this may be due to some specific issue with that particular Sim. However, this also means it's possible that someone else out there has a Sim with a weird face who may also encounter this problem. 🤷

Magic Lesson Posepack

Hi everyone! As a celebration of my 1 year anniversary of my sims story I decided to release some of the niche poses I made for it that I think might be helpful for others!

This set was made for one sim teaching another a lesson in magic. If you want, there's an additional romantic touch to the last pose!

This set includes 4 poses for 2 Sims in total, they are made with the standard rigs so clipping might occur.

Hey there @fresherfrequencies! Aww I am glad you found the decor set, I hope it is useful for your sim! (I have made more framed certificates and some books, the link for my tag is at the bottom of this post). I know we really have a shortage of reiki and healing touch in general CC/mods, it's actually what made me want to make that little set.

There is a really nice animation posepack by @herecirmsims here:

If anyone created a career mod for reiki practitioner, I image it would come up in a google search. I've tried looking for one in the past and never found anything, but I just tried again and nothing seems to be coming up. You could throw the idea out there to some creators who make career mods? If people like the idea they might run with it! I can also make a "cc concept share" post here on my sideblog, if you'd like me to boost your idea.

Besides new rigs I’m also working on some new poses celebrating the Realm of Magic gamepack. So far I’m loving the pack (but I wish there were more spells) and even got inspired to create a pack for it!

I also can’t get enough of everyone’s magical stories on instagram! Everyone is so creative, I’d love to provide some poses to stimulate that creativity!

Magic Lessons

This was a commission for ShySims4 and I've got to say I had a LOT of fun with it! The pack contains 4 paired poses between an adult and child, and two solo child poses. All child poses also have three expression variations: determined/focused, happy, and sad. Oh, and you can use the child poses from the paired sets as solo poses, too.

I don't normally edit my cover photos unless the poses were used in my story, but I couldn't resist with this one. 🤭

I’m only going to pick founders from stories that can sort of be considered legacies for this one.

1. From Our Different Paths: Founder Simon Meadows and his wife Celeste Lewis.

1. Simon moved to Hidden Springs after disliking the concrete jungle of Starlight Shores and wanting to farm and lead quiet research.

2. I used to freeplay with his family and he was a born in game sim, as opposed to a new one, as is custom for founders. His family is long ago descended from a particular Bridgeport vampire and I am considering working that into the story at some point. 

3. Devoted husband and father. Used his research skills to find a mythical fruit to save his wife’s life when she fell sick.

4. Despite not liking the hubbub of the city life and being kind of shy, he was not unfriendly and made friends along the way.

5. Theirs is my first “legacy style” story and, really the only official legacy I have at the moment.

2. Barron and Sylvia

1. AKA, Terra’s and Bristol’s parents. Who I adore deeply and will likely have to turn off aging in Moonlight Falls, because I’m not ok with losing them just yet.

2. Started out as some sims I made for a challenge, who I started using to model posepacks. And then, totally fell in love for them. 

3. She’s a professional thief. He’s a professional (former) womanizer. It started out as a hookup arrangement, since both have libidos higher than Mt. Everest. (Seriously, I had to disable autonomous hookups in their save because they would spend 80% of their time at that.) Now, 4 kids and a wedding later (wedding came shortly before appearance of baby #4, when the other three were teens) they are an official family.

4. Both of them come from magical families, even though they didn’t know it, as they are not witches.

5. He’s definitely the more peaceful one of the two.

3. Waves and Riptides: Therese Shell and Jeremy Famke

1. Therese moved to Sim Lau Isles because she loved being near the ocean and surfing. After meeting Jeremy, she took his suggestion to become a deep sea diver, which worked pretty well for her.

2. As a result, she found a cursed gemstone, which nearly led to Jeremy’s death when his troubled brother showed up and tried to steal it and kidnap him. In the end, she and the Arevalos recovered both, and Thomas Famke went to jail for some time.

3. It was only going to be a short story at first, but then a special and second season happened. 

4. I do feel bad for killing off Therese at the end of second season. At least, Thomas turned his life around. 

5. I am planning to give them a third season with a time skip. They all need closure.

Magical group photos

Here are a few more pictures I would like to share. They are mostly pictures with Adelines best friends. I am planning on learning how to create my own poses to make a nice group shot with all of them together. For the time being, I will rely on the excelent posemakers in the sims community.

Normally I don’t play premade sims but here is one of the few who have earned a place in my game. These 3 friends are all spellcasters. Grace is a neighbour and fellow potion brewer. Violet is a spellcaster with fairy blood in her veins. She temporarily left the fairy realm to explore the human world. Her spellcaster friends help her find her way. She can seem tough at first but once you get to know her she can be a good friend.

Parting Gift

Today's posepack is another set I made for my story. It was intended for a scene where one kid gives another her earrings, but of course you can use them for any scene you like. There are no accessories required - if you don't know about using the extra outfit slots and MCCC to add/remove CAS assets, I've included a very quick tutorial below the cut.

Tutorial for using MCCC to switch between outfit options: 👇

If you don't already have MCCC, you can get it here.

This is very simple, but it was a lifesaver when I was shown how to do this, and maybe there are new storytellers/Simmers out there who would also benefit - so:

Go into CAS and create your outfit (yes, I know the More CAS Columns mod exists lmao). Then hit the + button on the top right of the screen - it will copy your entire outfit to another slot. With that outfit, you can add/remove your change whether it's giving the Sim an accessory, changing their hairstyle, adding some magical eye effects, etc. In my case, I just gave both kids a version of themselves with the earrings and without. Save and go back into game.

2. When you want to switch outfits, left click on the Sim and bring up the MCCC menu.

3. Select the MC Dresser option

4. Select Change Outfit

5. Select the new outfit from the list. You can do this mid pose without bumping your Sims out of pose to do it, which is what I find useful. Changing outfits this way also means you don't add to your laundry load which I also find useful in a storytelling save haha.
