how would you go about drawing a double chin on a thin person with a thin neck? i have one and i never know how to portray it

oh i have this bc i have a weak ass chin

dis is some examples of how i like to do it...this is with the assumption of not much face fat as well. i like the half line leading to the chin, half line leading to the neck to make the fold.....but depending on how much fat, the chin bump just sits separately from the sides of the face. i find the neck also widens closer closer to the jaw bc of the mass accumulating there

as for 3/4s it also depends on how much fat but the chin existing as its own separate little landmark to imply more fat below it still applies

But you assure you have these gestures to show that you love him and want him to feel valued and appreciated. He gives you a tiny smile before accepting the flowers.

Mello: Before tender offerings like this, Mello can't help but feel terribly out of place. Back at Wammy's, no one cared for him, and in the Mafia, it was all about alliances and interests. So, for him, it's a peculiar sensation—feeling cherished. Despite the mix of vulnerable feelings, he smirks and charmingly takes the gift, not without teasing you for it.

Matt doesn't care for most things; in fact, he barely cares about anything. Definitely, before you gift him the flowers, he swears romantic gestures like this were indifferent to him. However, it feels more than nice to know you're thoughtful enough to make such a gesture. Despite his initial thoughts on the matter, Matt finds himself smiling like a fool.

Near: He's more than happy to have you around. The timbre of your voice soothes him in ways he can't quite grasp. You're aware of this, even though he doesn't always meet your gaze when you speak. His attention only shifts upon hearing the rustle of wrapping paper. He's stunned for a moment before you explain. Near takes the gift gently. "You shouldn't have bothered. Thank you." You smile at him, and he keeps the flowers close until they eventually wither.

Oh how determined Dracula is to wreck Jonathan's psyche as punishment. He wasn't content to just snatch away his only way of writing home. Dracula knows Jonathan can't leave under his watch. Nevertheless, he proceeds to steal Jonathan's money, documents, identification, and anything else that would have been useful to him outside the castle. So now Jonathan gets the message that even if he somehow escaped the prison, the forest, and the wolves, he would still not be able to leave the area, and Dracula would get him. I have taken away everything that may have brought you home. You are no one, and you are never going back.

You're very right. And, in classic Dracula fashion, every one of these tactics works on multiple levels. It's extra insurance that if Jonathan ever somehow did get out, then he wouldn't get far, for various reasons now. It's a message to Jonathan of the same, and thus psychological torment.

He is also controlling and limiting Jonathan's ability to communicate, and thus metaphorically stealing his 'voice' - if it weren't for the diary, Jonathan wouldn't have anywhere to tell his true thoughts left. He's also digging away at Jonathan's sense of self. As you say, telling him "you are no one now," leaving Jonathan with nothing else to do or to look to except Dracula himself. He's deepening the reliance there, forcibly. But it's also taking away things that have cost him effort (@thethirdromana made a post about how the suit alone is probably pretty expensive) and also that matter to him emotionally. It's quite possible the recipes he was saving for Mina were in those papers. There may well have been positive memories associated with his nice traveling suit. These are things that might be a comfort even if not an outright aid in escape. They remind Jonathan that he is human, he has a life outside of this place. But he doesn't anymore, and he won't ever again - that's the message Dracula is sending him. All he has left is Dracula.

And he's not even done yet. It's gonna get worse.

My enrollment application is still being processed and I can't even be mad because I know that they're going through thousands of applications and trying to sort them by the applicant's age (and the vast majority of those applications were paper, not digital forms) and it's open enrollment so there's a lot of applicants who don't have any immediate family enrolled and that means doing research and double checking all the info and I'm fairly sure that there's one person doing most of the work because enrollment offices are notoriously understaffed—

And I understand all that but I'm still feeling very 🥺

Would it be alright to ask how you set up the gradient map and linear burn for your lines? I've been trying to figure it out on CSP but maybe it just works differently..? Sorry for the trouble! -anon who asked about it last night

you draw the drawing with any brush on linear burn mode, usually lighter colors are better bc you capture a bigger range of values which is good for gradient maps

play with gradient map layer on different blending modes as well as the gradient map itself (i get all my gradient sets from csp asset store bc i dont know how to make Appealing ones myself!)

can also just set it up beforehand so u can draw wit the funky colors In Real Time

(Spamton stares, unseeing, at the rift and what comes out of it. There's a strange unraveling sensation in his head; one he hasn't felt in years, not since the calls stopped coming. This feeling is different, though; less devouring and more encompassing. His body shakes with the weight of trying to comprehend it; when the rift closes, and he can finally think – finally breathe again, his knees give out on him.

It takes him a few minutes to collect himself. Still shaking, he staggers to his feet and, hesitantly - like it's going to disappear the moment he touches it - he looks in the bag. Doesn't seem like he's in enough of a state to comprehend it, but he does certainly look at everything.

Holding the note in trembling hands, he looks up, the expression on his face something close to a smile.)
