How to Print Individual Letters in Mail Merge
When you need to print individual letters in mail merge, you have several options. You can use the Print Letters feature to automatically send each individual letter from MS-Word to your recipients, or you can use the Letters on File list to select an existing letter to print for a particular contact. If you want to further personalize your letter, you can also click Edit Individual Letters.

Mail merge is a process that allows you to produce multiple documents (letters, labels, envelopes, or name tags) using information stored in a database, spreadsheet, or other data source. Typically, you create a main document that contains the text for your letters or other content and a separate spreadsheet with the names of people to whom you’ll be sending each individual document.
To begin a mail merge, select the Mailings tab, then choose Start Mail Merge from the Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard group on the ribbon. If you’re using an Excel spreadsheet as your data source, select the spreadsheet and then click OK.
In the Select Recipients dialog box, select the check boxes for the records you want to include in the document, or click Match Fields if your list isn’t matching correctly. Then select OK to continue.
When the wizard is finished, select Close to return to your letter. To verify that your letters appear as you expect, select Mailings > Preview Results and then use the right and left arrows to scroll through your recipients. If you see a live preview of a recipient’s letter, click it to make sure that the names and addresses appear correctly.

READ SUNGCHAN’S HONESTY HOUR HERE

You were scrolling on your Instagram search page a week ago, trying to find something interesting to keep you awake during your break when you came across a promoted ad from a known YouTube account called: The Ask Box. The account was famously known for its content that is usually about life and its lessons, focusing on strangers, friends, and family mostly. In the post, it mentioned that they have a new segment called Honesty Hour wherein two people are given a chance to reunite through a video and talk about their lives. You didn’t really think much about it, you even thought that you had no one you wanted to reunite with as of the moment, so you brushed it all off and exited the app to continue your shift.
Until you heard your laptop receive a notification, indicating that you’ve received an email. You thought it was your boss, immediately opened the tab for the email. You noticed that the mail wasn’t from your boss but came from a different person.
“Greetings, Ms. Y/N Y/L/N!
I am Lee Haechan, a producer from The Ask Box. Could we take a moment of your time to talk to you this week, regarding an application on our new segment on our YouTube channel? Below is the link of a Zoom meeting that will be used during the short meeting. Prior to that, you can reply to this email for inquiries.
[ZOOM MEETING LINK]
You can also reply to this mail to let us know if you could meet us as soon as you can.
Regards,
Lee Haechan.”
What the hell? You thought, frowning as you reread the email again, thinking it was supposed to be sent to a different person. But you realized that your whole name was actually stated, so it wasn’t a mistake. Quickly, you typed in your reply that you were available today after work at 6 p.m. for the meeting. You wondered who in your friend group has set you up, considering that they know your history with a few guys that you met in parties and on dating apps.
And it was during the meeting with the production team when you found out that it wasn’t one of your friends who sent an application, but one of the guys you had a history with. The person you’ve, well, settled on a fuck buddy relationship with for almost two years, none other than Jeong Jaehyun himself.
“So will you be available next week, Friday at 2 p.m.?” Producer-director Haechan asked, as the meeting came to an end.
“Yeah, it’s my day-off.”
“Great! We’ll send you the details and the address, we’re excited to see you there Ms. Y/L/N! Thank you so much for agreeing to do this.”

And here you are now, sitting on a chair as you wait for Jaehyun to arrive. You didn’t know why you were so nervous; you could feel your palms sweat that you had to wipe them off your pants. The staff who was assigned to help you out on the mic noticed that you were uncomfortable and kept on taking deep breaths.
“Nervous?”
You nod your head, “It’ll be the first time I’ll see him after a year.”
“It’s okay, if you feel uncomfortable during the shoot, you can tell us, and we’ll immediately stop.”
“Thank you, but I think I can handle it- hopefully I can.”
Once the staff walked away, Jaehyun walked in on the set. Damn, he looks much more handsome than the last time you saw him. Much manlier. His hair was styled down, he was wearing a simple knitted sweater and jeans. How could someone be this attractive? It’s like he was sculpted by the gods. You shook your head, trying to compose yourself and focus on other things on the set and not to him. On the side of your eye, you saw him smile as the staff helped him put a mic.
“Ready?” Haechan, the producer-director asked before sitting down behind the camera. You and Jaehyun nod your heads, one staff member clapped the slate. This was the part that got you really nervous.
“Please introduce yourself and tell us when was the last time you saw or talked to each other before today.”
“My name is Y/N, I’m 24 and I work in the field of advertising. The last time I talked to Jaehyun was over a year ago.”
“I’m Jaehyun, I’m 25 and I’m an architect. The answer is the same, a year has passed since our last contact with each other. We haven’t talked to each other after ending things.”
“How did you two know each other?”
You opened your mouth, but then hesitated to answer. “We’re-”
“We were fuck buddies.” He answered, causing you to feel your cheeks burn. The whole video isn’t out yet, but it feels like the whole world knows you’ve had sex tons of times with this man. Oh god, those people might include my parents. You thought, cupping your cheeks. “Are you getting shy, Y/N?”
“Ah, no… please, continue.”
“You answered ‘we were fuck buddies’, enunciating the word ‘were’. What is your relationship right now?”
“Nothing. We just… we’re strangers again, I think.” This time, you answer.
“We’re strangers with history.”
“Damn,” you chuckle, “but yeah, we haven’t talked or seen each other in a year so I guess that makes us strangers.”
“What was your first encounter? Like how did you meet?”
“We met at a mutual friend’s party.” You start, “I think I was in junior year of university when we met, I was 21.”
Jaehyun nods his head, “Johnny’s party, right? His farewell party.”
“Yeah, Johnny is a senior of mine. We shared a few classes together and immediately clicked like siblings. So, the night we met, I was… I was… the story’s actually really embarrassing.” You laughed, “I was really drunk that night and I, well, vomited on him.”
The people behind the camera laughed, even the producer who was asking the questions laughed.
“She vomited on my new Prada shoes that night.”
“Who wears branded shoes at a college party where people vomit, like 95 percent of the time?” You roll your eyes, “Anyway, even if I did vomit on him, he was nice enough to bring me to the nearest diner to make me feel better.”
Jaehyun nods his head, letting you tell the story. “After that, I passed out. Jaehyun didn’t know where I lived so he brought me home. The morning after, I kind of panicked because I woke up in a stranger’s house. My brain automatically told me that I’ve slept with him, so I started screaming.”
“I wasn’t even next to her when she woke up,” Jaehyun added, “I slept on my couch that night. I’m not the type of guy who takes advantage of a drunk girl.”
“What happened after that? Did you two see each other again?”
“Mhm, we did. She offered to treat me to breakfast the next day and even offered to pay for the cleaning of my shoes.” Jaehyun answered, “She was really interesting to me, so after that breakfast, I asked her out on a date right away. Unfortunately, she kind of turned me down.”
“Yeah, because I told you, I just got out of a really bad relationship that time and I thought I was moving too fast to go out with someone after being single for like 8 months.” You cleared up, “But in the end, I still said yes. I thought maybe it was time for me to go out on dates because my ex was already seeing someone at the time.”
“We did date, we were not exclusive, just casually dating. I would wait for her after classes and we’d go out for coffee runs, study dates or drives to McDonald’s at 3 in the morning. She wasn’t ready to commit yet, so we settled on a fuck buddy situationship.”
“I enjoyed our small dates, really. I enjoyed riding his big bike every 3 a.m. And those dates stopped after we agreed that we’re nothing but fuck buddies.” You chuckle, “Mom, if you’re watching this, I know you told me not to ride motorcycles, but I did have fun riding them and I’m still alive!”
“Oh, speaking of your mom. Remember when you introduced me to your parents when they visited your dorm?”
“God yes! We were fuck buddies for a year that time because we were already graduating. Another confession mom, Jaehyun wasn’t really my boyfriend at the time!”

“Oh, oh! Fuck, Jaehyun- I’m cumming again!” You moaned, grinding your hips on his face as you felt your high. He has been eating you out for the past 20 minutes and on different surfaces of your dorm. Your roommate just moved out and you’ve got the whole place to yourself until someone rents it again.
The moment you texted Jaehyun that you were alone in your dorm and wearing new lingerie, he dropped his pencil on his drafting table and left his unfinished plate. A few minutes later, a loud knock on the door was heard and the next thing you know, you were bent over on the small kitchen counter while he licked long stripes on your wet slit. It all started on the kitchen counter, to the small ottoman you had at the foot of your bed, and now on your bed. You gave him a blowjob in between, but he wanted to eat you out more than he wants you to blow him. You could feel a knot form on your stomach as you whimper, gripping on your sheets and toes curling as you cum. Jaehyun pulls away, licking his lips that’s covered with your cum. You turn to your side, your legs shaking after the fifth time you came.
You felt the bed sink, the small space letting your bodies warm each other. Jaehyun started planting kisses on your bare shoulder as you calmed down from your high. It was always on the neck, collarbones, and shoulder where he would kiss you, but never on the lips. His hands were caressing your skin, squeezing your hips before giving your ass a quick slap.
“Aren’t you gonna fuck me now?” You asked, a bit tired from the orgasm, yet have the urge to have his dick inside of you.
“Hmm, I would but aren’t you tired? You just came five times and I’m pretty sure your next-door neighbor is angry with all the moaning and shit.”
“I’m good, I can handle it. Besides, any day now someone’s gonna move in here. Might as well enjoy the little time we have left.”
“Sometimes I like what goes on inside your head.” He laughs, flipping you over and starts to suck your nipples. “Condom?”
“Raw.” You said, “I’m not ovulating right now, it’s safe and I always take my pills.”
Since you and Jaehyun started this whole fuck buddy thing, you went to the doctor’s and started taking contraceptives just to be safe. Jaehyun also had your back whenever it comes to buying plan b’s just to be safer. All of it came from Jaehyun – the pills and the ‘dates’ from before. According to Johnny, Jaehyun’s family is loaded (which explains why he was wearing Prada the night you met. Sometimes it makes you feel bad. Your family isn’t definitely loaded like his, but you were doing good and are financially stable. There was a time where you talked to Jaehyun about this matter, and his response was ‘don’t think of it that way, think of it as a friend who’s just looking after you’.
“Damn, a really good girl.” He smirks, planting a kiss on your neck. “Gonna fuck you so good today for being such a good girl.”
Jaehyun adjusts your legs, pushing them towards your breasts and onto his shoulders. You were on the hook position. You feel goosebumps as he runs his cock along your pussy, teasing you by pushing the tip in and pulling it out again. As this was the first time in a few weeks that you two have sex again, you were desperate.
“Holy f-fuck…” You moaned, adjusting to his size as he pushed his dick inside of you wholly. “Why does it feel like you’re getting bigger every time we fuck?”
He smirks at the remark, his hips starting to move at a slow pace. It wasn’t the first time you did this position, but his face was so close to yours and somehow it felt really… intimate. You were so lost in his lips; they were pink and so soft. You wonder what it feels like to kiss them. You shake your head, closing your eyes in pleasure.
As he continues to thrust, you clench around him, feeling yet another orgasm builds up as he moves fast. You covered your mouth, trying to suppress another loud noise, thinking that if you let out another one, the landlord would kick you out.
“Remove that fucking hand, pretty. Or else, I’m putting a halt to this. Let me hear you moan.” He whispered against your ear.
Fuck, why was that so hot? You remove your hand from your mouth and hold onto the headboard instead and let out a moan, burying your head against the soft pillow, giving him access to your throat. You could feel your legs hurt; the muscles were tensing as you could feel his weight on them. Your eyes roll in pleasure again, but something just had to put an end to it. Your phone, lying on the side table, started ringing. Groaning, you told Jaehyun to stop and reached for it. If it was your best friend, or Johnny, you would ignore it. But somehow the universe probably got fed up with you moaning and screaming your lungs out, your phone displays your mother’s contact.
“S-shit, don’t move… I have to take this.”
“Seriously? Right now?”
“Yeah, I know; my mom’s such a cockblocker.”
“Oh, it’s your mom… yeah, go ahead.”
You swipe the answer button, with Jaehyun’s dick inside of you. With a breathy voice you say, “Hello?”
“Sweetie, sorry for calling. Are you busy studying right now?” She asked, you hum in response. “Anyway, I was just wondering if you wanted to join us for dinner. Your father and I are in town for some business, we can pick you up at your dormitory. What do you say?”
Jaehyun is a jerk. A teasing jerk who just had to start moving his hips again, causing you to let out a whine. “Sweetheart, are you okay?”
“Oh- um, yeah, sorry. I can do that, when are you arriving?”
“In fifteen minutes.” Jaehyun’s thrusts were starting to fasten.
“What?!” You exclaimed, covering your mouth. “I- um, okay, okay. Okay.”
After the call, you toss your phone aside. “I’m close, pretty. Where do you want it?”
“I-inside-” You choked, “God, Jaehyun…”
“Filthy girl, answering her mom’s call while having sex…” Jaehyun’s cock was hitting all the right places, “Oh, Y/N…”
Jaehyun’s cum felt warm inside of you, and he actually stayed in the same position for a few seconds before pulling out. Which reminds you that you have to start moving as your parents will arrive anytime now. As jelly as your legs were after multiple orgasms, you managed to walk to the bathroom and clean. You asked Jaehyun to spray some febreze inside the whole dorm to make it seem like you two just didn’t have sex there (just in case your mother walks in, you didn’t need her to point out that the room reeks sex).
Just in time, you exit your room with Jaehyun as if nothing had happened. Dressed in a simple blouse and jeans. Jaehyun was guiding you, after what happened today, you were sure you’re not able to walk straight for the whole night or two. Just when you were about to enter the elevator, you were greeted by your parents.
“Oh, and who is this fine young man, Y/N?”
“Hello, I’m Jaehyun. I’m Y/N’s uh…”
What were you two really? Jaehyun had no answer to your mother’s questions. Hurriedly, you answered, “Boyfriend, he’s my boyfriend.”
Her mouth forms an ‘o’, shocked yet satisfied with the answer, she nodded her head. “Well, Jaehyun, you should join us for dinner then! I’d like to get to know my daughter’s boyfriend more.”

“Did you address the other person to people as your significant other?”
“Yeah,” You answered, “It was much easier, especially to our parents. Our situation, as fuck buddies, were taboo for people their age. I think it all started because of me, because I introduced him to my parents as my boyfriend.”
“And I introduced her to my folks as my girlfriend.”
“But we weren’t in a relationship. It felt like it was much easier to say that instead of explaining our situation to them. We didn’t put any label on our relationship until the very end. We’re just boyfriend-girlfriend in the eyes of strangers, parents, and acquaintances, but to us and our friends, we were fuck buddies.” You added.
“It was also convincing for them.”
“One last question before we proceed to the next segment, the real event.” The producer said, flipping his script to the next page. “If things were going on so well between the two of you and you were satisfied with what you have, why did you end it?”
“The truth is, we really didn’t end things like adults. We just… kind of went our separate ways. We just let it speak for itself. We stopped talking to each other because the last time we did, I kind of fucked up.” Jaehyun confessed, “At the time, I was 24. I’ve been working for a year in the same company. Now that I recall the events of last year, I realize how stupid it is of me to ask her that.”
“What was the question?”
“Something really personal…”

Jaehyun called you tonight, asking if you were available. After a whole day of meetings and pitching new ideas for a specific product, you just wanted to lie down and relax. But somehow, he has convinced you to make a U-turn on the next stop. Jaehyun said that he’s been having a rough day. His favorite shoes got stained with cement when he visited the site, his coffee fell on the passenger seat of his car when he passed through a pothole resulting a hole in his tire. Everything was a mess, and he needed a release. An adult release with you.
The moment he opened the door for you, Jaehyun had his lips on your neck, sucking the skin and leaving marks. You may have knocked over a few furniture in his living room before you got inside the room, but that was the last thing you two could think of – the two of you badly needed to release the tension and the stress you’ve been feeling.
You lost count of how many rounds you’ve done, how many orgasms you’ve experienced, and how many condoms used. At that moment, you and Jaehyun were focused on making each other feel good, and not keeping track of your orgasms.
“Fuck, Y/N, I’m cumming again…” He moaned, throwing his head back to the pillow as you rode him. “Ah, shit.”
Tired, you remove yourself from him and throw yourself on the space next to him. The two of you were quiet, there was not enough energy to make conversation. You just laid there catching your breaths and staring blankly at the ceiling.
“I have a question for you.” He breaks the silence yet still staring at the ceiling.
“What?”
“Will you marry me?”

“After the deed?”
Jaehyun nods his head in embarrassment while you just sat there awkwardly, taking the water bottle next to your feet to wash your parched throat.
“But I didn’t do it just because my mom told me that I should marry her. I… I knew my feelings for her were genuine and I was aware of it, I was certain I was in love with her. I fell in love with her, I mean, who wouldn’t?”
The staff gasps, some raised their eyebrows and shook their heads. “Broke the first rule we established: Don’t fall in love.” You chuckle, “I told him why he would ask something like that after we had sex and, well, while we’re naked. He tried to explain himself to me while I dressed up, I ran away. I didn’t contact him after that, blocked him on all social media accounts I have and his number. I moved to a different neighborhood so he wouldn’t find me. I thought he’ll get tired and forget about me eventually.”
Haechan nods his head and signals the staff to put a lie detector machine on the table between the two of you. “Now, you mentioned that you stopped your contact with each other after ‘ending’ your situationship. This is a chance for the two of you to ask questions you’ve always wanted to ask to the other. Sky’s the limit. You can answer their questions and you may not if you feel uncomfortable.”
You couldn’t help but let out a nervous chuckle, they mentioned this beforehand, they gave you a chance to think of the questions you’ve wanted to ask Jaehyun, and you did. You had it listed in your head confidently, but now that you’re in front of him, your mind went blank, and you couldn’t think of one.
“Y/N, do you want to start?”
“O-oh, um… he can go first. I’m trying to remember my questions.” You replied, turning the lie detector toy in front of you and placed your hand on it.
Jaehyun nods his head and clears his throat as if he was about to give a big speech to the crowd, “Have you been good?”
Haechan snorts, even Jaehyun laughed at his own question. It was so random yet genuine.
“Well, yeah. I’m happy with my work, it’s stressful most of the time, but I get to do what I want and I’m in a really happy place right now.”
The small machine makes a small noise as it analyzes your answer. If it senses that your answer is true, you’re good to go. If not, then you’ll get electrocuted for a second. It was probably the longest five seconds you’ve ever experienced and there was a part of you that was relieved that your answer was accepted as true. It is true, you weren’t lying.
“Y/N, go ahead.”
Fuck, “Did you… did you date someone after we ended it?” What a dumb question, Y/N.
“Casual dates, yeah. Serious dating, committing, or making it official, no.”
Ping! Jaehyun’s answer was true. You didn’t know why, but you were relieved after hearing that. The conversation deepens that the whole production team was immersed in the whole thing. They were all ears as the two of you talked and confessed the truth to each other. His questions were related to the person you were before, the person you were when you were still in contact. It was fun, it was like cleaning the things you’ve swept under the rug as the two of you talk and clear up the things you should’ve talked about before parting ways. The conversations you avoided and the truths you’ve learned.
Until he dropped a bomb.
“Did you feel something towards me, or did you really just see me as someone you get to have sex with?” That was the question that struck you. What do you answer?
“Naked truth?” You asked, he nodded his head. “Jaehyun, you know how scared I am of commitment. You, of all people, should know that because you were the only person I’ve told you about it. I made it extra clear for you that I wasn’t ready to commit to someone, but that doesn’t mean I only used you for sex. You were my friend. After I introduced you to my parents as my boyfriend, I had thoughts about it. I reconsidered our relationship before, but it felt like you were happy with what we had so I brushed it all off. There were instances that we were intimate with each other whenever we see each other’s parents for something, and I think about my feelings over and over again whenever that happens. Truth be told, yes. I did have feelings for you, and I didn’t use you as someone who I can run to when I need an adult stress release.”
As you wait for the small machine to reveal whether you were telling the truth or not, you stare deep in Jaehyun’s eyes. It was the truth; the truth was finally out. It felt like a thorn was pulled out of your chest. Ping! Jaehyun, satisfied yet disappointed, nodded his head and accepted your answer. He then places his hand on the machine, ready to hear your question.
“If you were certain of your feelings for me, why didn’t you tell me sooner?”
“Naked truth?” He asked, you nodded. “We were in that part of the ‘relationship’ where everything was intact. If I told you that I was in love with you before, the things we’ve established will be wrecked. I was… I was scared. I was scared to lose you. One wrong move and it’ll ruin everything. I knew you didn’t want to be with someone yet at the time, so I respected you. You, running away from me was enough reason to make me realize that it was probably right that I didn’t confess my feelings even before I had asked you to marry me.”
Ping! Jaehyun’s answer was true. The atmosphere inside the room felt so heavy as the staff removed the toy in front of you. You were so honest; you didn’t even realize you could be that honest. You broke eye contact with Jaehyun, grabbing the water bottle again as you feel your mouth dry.
“Damn, I am really honest today. I’ve never been that honest my whole life.” You joked, “But you know, we could’ve worked if I was really ready at that time.”
“We could’ve?”
“I think so. Or maybe I was ready, but a part of me didn’t want to or couldn’t accept what we had. We tried dating but ended up only being fuck buddies. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn’t know what I wanted nor what I didn’t want. I got scared when you asked me to marry you, I got scared that it happened after we had sex.” You explained, “I got scared because I was so sure of what I felt towards you, but the truth scared me and the first thing I thought was to run away from you. So, if you thought that I only used you for pleasure, please now that the two years we became fuck buddies, half of those years, I was hopelessly in love with you. You made me feel things that even I couldn’t believe I could still feel towards a guy like you. I was just scared of how things will change between us.”
Jaehyun agrees with you, “I was so ready to commit to you, but I guess I was also scared to lose you. If the two of us weren’t cowards and just faced the truth… we’re probably on a very different path right now.” He said, “Damn, that’s kind of sad. But that’s just how life is. The things you want? You either get them or lose them. The decision really depends on you, whether you were willing to take the risk or regret.”
The scene ends with the two of you smiling at each other as the video fades into black.
One was ready, one was not.

Walk Away Masterlist | Masterlist
November 2011, New York, New York.
It had been a year now since the move to New York. Lamar was the one to take me to New York, mom and dad were still holding a grudge over my change of career. Olivia was the one to help me with my interview for Stark Industries that I was panicking over. Which I got. I started in the mail room and moved up to a personal assistant to the main engineer. Today is my first time meeting with Pepper Potts. She was visiting from the California location and my boss, Richard Moore was currently running late.
I was in the small meeting room setting up the display that I had put together for Mr. Moore when the door opened. Pepper walked in her blonde hair pulled up into a sleek high ponytail, dressed in a burgundy pant suit. I walked over to her and held my hand out. “Afternoon, Ms. Potts. I’m Alexandra Walker, Mr. Moore’s assistant.” I introduced myself with a pleasant smile.”
“Pleasure to meet you Ms. Walker. Am I early?” Pepper took her seat at the table as I walked over to my bag. “No, Mr. Moore went out for lunch and is just running late.” I pulled a red folder from my bag that held a written summary of the topics that would be covered during the meeting along with the reports for the last six months. “He should be here soon. This is a copy of the reports and a written summary of the topics he will be covering.” Pepper looked slightly surprised as she took the folder and started to go through the contents.
“This is the most prepared I have ever seen Richard in the last few years.” She jokes and I just laughed softly and took a seat across from her with my laptop open ready to take notes. “Well he did say this was the first time he had an assistant.” I mentioned slightly closing the screen so I could see her properly.
A knock on the door drew both of our attention to the door. The receptionist popped her head in, “Mr. Moore is on line two.” I smiled and thanked her before moving over to the phone in the corner. “Hello Mr. Moore, you are on speaker, Ms. Potts is here.” I say after answering the phone. Mr. Moore’s voice was gruff and irritated as he began speaking. “I got rear ended on my way back so I won’t be able to make it to the meeting, Pepper. However, Alexa is more than able to give the presentation and walk you around.”
Pepper had a short conversation that was nothing more than murmur in the background as I mentally panicked over now being the one to host the meeting with the head of the company. The phone call ended and I took a sip of my water before turning towards Pepper. “Would you like to walk and talk at the same time?” I asked but the smile I received in return was so gentle I knew I must have seemed nervous. “That sounds great.”
☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰
The meeting was over but I was still sitting with Pepper in the meeting room chatting. We talked about the company and she asked about my schooling. We had probably spent and additional hour after the meeting officially ended just chatting. Pepper glanced at her watch before finally standing, cuing me to stand as well, ready to walk her out.
“Do you ever plan to visit our California location?” Pepper asked as we took the elevator down to the lobby. I nodded my head and smiled widely. “Of course. I would love to, I chose the New York location because I’m attending Columbia University for engineering.” Pepper led the way out of the building to where her car was waiting for her.
“Well if you are ever interested University of California at Berkeley has a great engineering department and I would love an additional set of hands helping me there. If you decide to transfer I’ll handle everything alright?” I nod my head in agreement and we finished our goodbyes.
I returned to the meeting room to collect my things, type up a report to email Mr. Moore on how the meeting went and what Pepper had to say. Once the email was sent I was able to leave and head back to my small apartment. The tiny studio apartment was just enough space for me but definitely not what I was used to. Setting my laptop on the small two seater table I have near the kitchenette, my cell rang from my bag.
With a single glance at my phone I let out a deep sigh and answered the call, “Hi ma.” I was expecting this call. After all, it was the week before Thanksgiving. “Alexandra, dear, when is your flight getting in?” Holding the phone to my ear with my shoulder I moved to the kitchen to pour myself a cup of peach tea. “Mama I told pa last week Thursday that I won’t be able to make it home this Thanksgiving. I have a big test and am scheduled to work.”
“Ridiculous it’s a holiday. Now, John and Olivia have settled on a date for the wedding and are announcing it at dinner.” “Ma.” “The Hoskins are joining and bringing a pie with their amazing potatoes and collard greens.” “Ma!” “I was hoping you could make your peach pie. We’re hoping to eat at five. Then Olivia and I were going to go over some wedding–.”
“MOM!” I set my cup down next to my laptop, yelling through the phone to get my ma to stop talking. “Don’t raise your voice at me Alexandra.” She scolded me, making me groan. “Ma, I really don’t think I can make it. I’ll try to see if I can get a plane but I can’t promise you anything. I got to go. I have a report to type up that’s due in the morning and I still have to eat dinner. I’ll text you later. Bye!” I barely caught her starting to complain about the chance of not being home as I hung up.
I focused on my report and school work for the rest of the night only pausing to eat some of the leftover chinese from my fridge. I didn’t even think about checking out flights home until I was laying in bed for the night. I sighed checking my bank account after purchasing the round trip ticket. It would be a bit tight until my next check but shouldn’t be too bad. Setting my phone down and plugging it into the charger I rolled over to go to sleep.
☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰
John picked me up from the airport Thanksgiving day. The whole ride was talking about the chances he would be deployed soon so they were hoping to have the wedding soon. He mentioned how Lemar was his best man and they had it easy by just wearing their formal military suits. I sat in the passenger seat nodding along as I listened to him talk the whole ride home.
Entering the house I was instantly welcomed by the smell of dad’s turkey and Mrs. Hoskin’s collard greens. I moved into the kitchen and said my hellos. Lemar, who thankfully had started my peach pie for me, stepped away from the mixing bowl and hugged me. “Hey peaches, how’s New York treating you?”
“Great! I got to meet Ms. Potts herself who by the way offered me the chance to work for her in California.” I grinned as I took over making the pie. “That’s great to hear, peach.” Mrs. Hoskins kissed my cheek in greeting as she moved to help Olivia set the table. “So you’re going to go to California now?” Ma asked from where she was stirring the gravy. “Maybe next year. She said she would cover the move and setting up my school transfer.” Ma hummed at that and it was pretty much the end of the conversation after that.
It didn’t matter too much because it wasn’t long before we were all seated at the table. The peach pie was barely done before we sat down, I was literally pulling it from the oven as everyone began to sit down. The light conversations began while we ate, mainly my parents asking John and Olivia what was left to plan for the wedding. “So there was a mention of a chosen date?” Mr. Hoskins mentioned taking a sip of his sweet tea.
“We did. John and I settled for June 20th.” Olvia grinned as John took a hold of her hand.”We’re sure John might have to do a tour before then but..” I stopped moving her voice became a buzz in the background. The fork full of potatoes held halfway to my mouth as I mulled over the wedding date in shock. June 20th was the day after my birthday. The fork fell from my hand clattering against my plate drawing attention towards me. I licked my lips, why were they dry all of a sudden? An awkward laugh fell from my mouth. “I uh.. My golden birthday is the day before.”
“Oh! I didn’t even think of that, peaches.” John, my older brother, forgot my birthday. Sure it shouldn’t be a big deal but I still wasn’t expecting him to plan anything practically on my birthday. Now I can’t even celebrate it because I will have wedding duties since I am a bridesmaid. I forced a smile and shook my head. “Don’t worry about it. At least I will already be in town.. I can..ya know celebrate it another time.”
“Oh this is just so wonderful!” Ma clapped excitedly. She pushed her plate aside to she could lean forward and talk about the wedding with Olivia and Mrs. Hoskins. I sat back looking down at my plate. I wasn’t really hungry anymore as I listened to them going over color pallets and flower types. Silently I got up and cleaned up. I still had a few hours left before I had to head back to the airport but I really wasn’t in the mood to stay here. I went to my old bedroom, which was now a guest room, so I could privately see if I could get a sooner flight and get out early. Which I was successful at finding.
I gathered my things quickly before heading to the dining room. “Whoa, peaches, where are you going?” Pa asked as he watched me putting on my coat. “They bumped me to a different flight. Ya know, buying tickets last minute and all. My flight leaves in an hour.” I explained as I hugged Lemar from behind and kissed his mom’s cheek. “We’re still eating,” Ma frowned, looking around at everyone’s plates still with food on them. “Don’t worry I’ll hail a cab. I have to make this flight. I can’t be late for work in the morning.” I went around saying my goodbyes with a sour taste in my mouth as I hugged John.
The silence that overtook me held me hostage for the whole cab ride to the airport. Was it just me being irrational? Wouldn't John want his special day to be less closely tied to his baby sister? No, no. It was a fine date. I was just being over dramatic. Just because I already had plans nearly 6 months in advance didn’t matter. What if I was moving to California by then?

June 2012
When Pepper said she would handle everything I wasn’t expecting that to mean this. She had paid for the tuition of my next semester of school. She found me an apartment with a roommate so I wouldn’t be alone. Now I was flying to California in a private plane. I was floored at all of it but I couldn’t stop the smile that was on my face. The plane was just about to land and I would be meeting my roommate for the first time.
Exiting the plane with my personal bag and one carry-on (that contained what little I didn’t have sent over the week before) I spotted Pepper next to a black car and a heavyset man who reminded me of my dad stood next to her. I walked over to them with a smile on my face.
“Welcome to California, Alexa. This is Happy, he’s a close friend-”
“And future Head of Security.” Happy cut in making me hide a small laugh.
“Yes, and future head of security for Stark Industries. You will be staying with him while you are here.” Pepper explained as Happy took my bags and put them into the trunk of the car. I turned to him and held my hand out. “Nice to meet you, Happy. I’m Alexandra Walker but most people just call me Alexa.”
“Nice to meet you, kid. I don’t plan on there being any issues, just don’t interrupt my Abbey time or throw any parties and we’ll be good.” I laugh at his laid back nature and nod my head. “I don’t like parties so I think we’ll be good.”
The three of us headed towards the place that Happy calls home. Or maybe it was a condo? He gave me the tour before showing me to my room. He left me to settle in while he went to drop Pepper off at home. The bedroom I was given was right across from the bathroom, Happy mentioned having his own bathroom attached to the main bedroom. By the time Happy returned I had unpacked all my bathroom supplies and put them away.
☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰
Today was the first day at Stark Industries in California. Pepper gave me a tour around the building. Pepper nor I were expecting the impromptu lunch visit from a man in a metal suit. Tony brought us Italian and while he was there introduced me to his A.I. Jarvis. I was added into the system so if ever needed Jarvis would allow me to enter their home. Tony, while amazing to be in the room with, seemed to be hyped up on coffee.
After work Happy drove Pepper home and then took me to the airport. The bridal side of the bridal court was getting their nails done in the morning, a dry run of their hair and makeup would be done after a quick lunch break, before the wedding rehearsal that night. With the late arrival of my plane and the timezones I’ll be changing I knew that at some point the jet lag would kick in.
The jet lag didn’t kick in until we were beginning the rehearsal. My center of balance was a bit off as I swayed slightly next to Lemar. My eyes were locked onto the stained glass window of Jesus. With the ever increasing drooping of my eyelids I started dozing off yet again. “Alright lets run it from the top!” Ma called the clapping of her hands and jerked my head into attention.
Walking to the hallway I stood next to one of Olivia’s cousin’s who I was paired with. Lemar made a funny face with his tongue sticking out as he passed to stand with the maid of honor, she had snapped at me several times for dragging my feet since the rehearsal began. The music began, an arm looped through mine, and the procession practice began. My limbs were starting to feel heavy as I resisted the urge to yawn. I clung onto my partner’s arm as I felt my body suddenly lurch forward mid aisle as I tripped.
“Ugh! Come on Alexandra, do we need to teach you how to walk again?” John comments from the alter. I shot him a glare as I stood up straighter. “I’m sorry, the jet lag is hitting and I’m exhausted!” I sneered, crossing my arms. My brother held his hands up, “Easy, peaches I’m just joking it’s okay. I’ve tripped a few times myself.”
I huffed but the scoff of the maid of honor behind me wasn’t helping the increased tension I was feeling build up inside me. John walked over and excused the guy walking with me and linked his arm with mine. He leaned over as the music began and we finished walking. “We only have five minutes left then you can go home to bed. Be up at ten tomorrow though. Okay?” My eyebrows scrunched together as I looked over at him as we parted ways at the end of the aisle. What was happening tomorrow?
☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰
“Peaches!” John hollered as he jumped onto the soft bed waking me from my peaceful slumber. Groaning, I shoved my brother away from me, unintentionally off the bed. The thump made me crawl over to peek at the man on the floor. “That was mean, Peach.” I laughed and pushed back my hair.
“That’s what you get for waking me up.” I rolled over and stretched out like a starfish on the bed. John sat up leaning onto the bed next to my head. “I told you to be up at ten. It is now 10:45. Get. Up. Lazy. Bum.” John pokes my forehead in punctuation. Swatting his hand away I grabbed the pillow from under my head and whacked him with it. “Ey! That’s no way to treat someone taking you out for your birthday.”
“You’re taking me out for my birthday? Where?” John grabbed the pillow from me as he stood from the floor. Once he was at the door he tossed the pillow back. “That is for me to know and you to find out, once you get out of bed.” My brother left the room for me to get ready. I had no idea what to expect, it wasn’t often John did something overly special like this, at least not for me.
No more than twenty minutes later I was in the passenger side of the truck with my brother driving to some unknown location. The radio was on some staticy country station. Wind was blowing in the window as John seemed to be taking more turns than necessary. “Do you remember your tenth birthday?” He asked, suddenly breaking the silence.
“That was, that was the time you shoved my head into the cake.” The confusion on my face as I answered his question made him laugh. “Uh huh and do you remember how Mike got me back on my birthday with the water guns?” I simply nodded trying to understand where he was going with this. “Well I never got you back for that.” I gasped looking over at him. “Johnny..” I looked out the window as the truck came to a stop. We were at the park and I could see Lemar, Olivia, our parents, and a few of the other wedding court members. “John, I can't get my hair wet. The stylist took forever on my hair.”
“Oh there isn’t any water for you.” He smiles before getting out. I followed suit and hurried after my older brother the closer we got to the others the more it became clear that there was a dunk tank awaiting. John slipped off his shoes, handed his phones and the keys to Olivia before moving to sit in the dunk tank.
“So I know having my wedding the same weekend as your birthday is a little crappy. I also know I’m not your favorite brother most of the time, but maybe if you weren’t such a pain.” Lemar handed me one of the softballs which didn’t stay in my hand long before it was launched at the target, dropping my brother into the water on the first try. John resurfaced sputtering water out of his face. “Oh it’s cold.” I laughed while picking up another ball. “That was fun, can we do it again?” A wide smile spread over my face as the tank was reset and John took a seat again. I tossed the ball in my hand a few times before throwing it at the target.
Lemar laughed next to me, slapping his knee. “Who knew our lil peach had such good aim?” John gave a fake laugh as he climbed out of the water. “Why don’t you get in the tank Hoskins?” Lemar slipped his shoes off and tossed his phone to me. I put the phone in my pocket and waited for the two to switch places. I looked over at Olivia who was smiling from her spot next to my parents. I looked over a moment too late as wet arms wrapped securely around me. John hugged me to his chest shaking his head to get me as wet as he could. “Johnny!” I squealed, pushing him away as he laughed.
After I had dunked John, Lemar, and my dad each a dozen times, my brother went to change. When the blonde man returned he pulled me away from everyone and drove me back home. Pulling into the driveway he dragged me around the house and over towards the backyard. Set up in the backyard, under the tree that used to hold our treehouse as kids, was a picnic and projector pointing at the house. I laughed and looked at my brother. “You recreated my freshman homecoming?”
John shrugged, his hands halfway into his pockets. “Not really. If the treehouse was still there I would have moved all this in there and tried recreating our weekend campouts away from Mike.” My jaw dropped as I remembered the days when we would sleep for a night or two in the treehouse when Mike was being mean to his annoying younger siblings. We would eat cookies and lunchables as we read stories about Captain America and Amazing Grace. John walked over to the blanket laid out but before he could sit I ran over and hugged him tightly. “Thank you, Johnny.”
John hugged me back. He pulled away and kneeled to pull a single cupcake out of the basket holding out food and drinks. “Happy Birthday, peach.”
☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰☰
The wonderful birthday night transitioned to a busy and beautiful day that ended with me gaining a sister-in-law. The service made me tear up, the reception left me exhausted, and I can happily report that Lemar did not once step on my foot unlike the guy who I was paired with for the service. Mike called in during the dinner to congratulate the happy couple, and sneaked in a congratulations to me for the move to California. The night ended all too early as I had to prepare for an early flight back to California.
It surprised me when John was the one awake in the morning to drive me to the airport. He hugged me tightly after unloading my bag from the truck. “Please be careful, peach. I know you are working closely with Pepper Potts now and that means Tony Stark. You could get hurt for that so just be safe, please.”
“Johnny, you are the one that needs to be safe. When you get deployed.. Be careful. Watch out for Lemar. Come home.”
“I will peach. I will.”

Some myths and truths about Renovated Computers
Some myths and truths about Renovated Computers
Introduction
Computers that are fixed and re-packaged by the operator and the product released in the market are commonly known as Refurbished Computers. These products get mostly launched in the secondary market. The buyers of these computers do not get offered with guarantee or warranty. If the products get bought from reputed structures, they usually provide proof of at least one year.
Some myths and truths about these computers
There were some companies' statements about the refurbished computers that these computers are not up to the mark. These are having a standard configuration than the requirement of the company. They are also of low quality.
Myth-These computers have less configuration as compared to new devices launched in the market.
Truth- Newly launched laptops get well developed; that’s the truth. Still, nowadays, people use laptops are highly configurated computers to check mail and using MS word. Those renovated computers are using which are available in the market at cheap rates. - Monitors for laptops
Myth- These computers have internal performance issues, which get caused due to the lesser quality of hardware used.
Truth- This statement is not true as mostly all the computers are tested and notified. Remanufacturers look after that all the issues get fixed thoroughly before it gets launched in the market. Manufacturers see that the refurbished computers are similar as compared to the highly configurated computers. They do not negotiate their quality and reliability.
Myth- All the renovated computers are pre-owned as these computers lost their guarantee and useful life.
Truth- A small percentage of these fall under this category, but mostly the manufacturers use new or gently used devices. Many computers come to refurbishers in good condition, which may require minor programmed set-ups to enhance their performance. They have more life left in them, which the customer doesn’t think of. On the other hand, manufacturers also get computers covering minor defects like scratches, dents, or the customer doesn’t want to use the product. Such devices are renovated or refurbished by the manufacturers to release the computers in the secondary market.
Myth- The companies or the manufacturers do not provide any guarantee or warrantee for the refurbished computers.
Truth- If the buyers purchase the products from the reputed players, they must get a warranty for at least one year. The buyers need to buy Refurbished monitor from reputed sellers who are providing a warranty.
Myth- Renovated computers need more maintenance.
Truth- The professionals check these computers before they get launched, so there is no problem, or there is no extra maintenance cost that has to be the beard—these computers get used in many schools, colleges, and NGOs.
Myth- These computers are not long-lasting as compared to new PCs
Truth: The refurbished computers' manufacturers look after the refurbishment process so that the buyers won’t have any problem for another three years so that the computers smoothly and efficiently. They ensure that these computers won’t break down within a few months.
Myth- These computers are only efficient for schools and colleges.
Truth- As per the information, these computers are used by individuals as well as for commercial. It is somehow true that most schools and NGOs target these computers mostly in the US. If there is any problem occurred refurbishers are there to fix those problems.
Some important points for renovated computers
Microsoft made licensing for refurbished pc users.
Refurbished computers are favored by IT Budget 2015.
Conclusion
Refurbished computers are useful for those who may not require high configurated setups. Schools and NGOs are the targeted ones. Refurbished computers are cheap and are most helpful to all more or less.

Một số Mẹo vặt xử lý sự cố in ấn
MÁY IN IM LÌM
Hãy cài đặt lại máy in và khởi động lại máy tính.
Xử lý: Thử khởi động lại máy tính và in lại.
KHÔNG THỂ IN ĐƯỜNG VIỀN TRANG
Hầu hết máy in không thể in chữ hay hình ảnh nằm quá gần mép của trang. Theo mặc định, các đường viền nằm gần mép của trang, đây là lý do tại sao máy in của bạn không thể xử lý chúng.
Xử lý:
- Trong menu File/ Page Setup, chọn thẻ Layout - Borders and Shading.
- Chọn thẻ Page Border.
- Nhấp nút Options để mở hộp thoại Borders and Shading Options.

ICT IN THE PHILIPPINES (OUR LEARNING) Now that we are living in a society that is constantly evolving digital world. ICT has an impact on nearly every aspect of our lives – from working to socializing and learning from playing. Todays century has improved or rather transformed our way of communicating, networking, seeking help, accessing information and learning. We must recognize that we are now an online population, accessing through a variety of means such as computers, TV and mobile phones.
During the 2nd week of November 2019, our journey of being an E-Tech students has begun. In the first session, Ms. Tampos gave us topics to be discussed but before that she introduced to us the subjects objectives. A day after that, Ms. Tampos gave us an activity which we are task to list all possible words that are connected to ICT and place it in a concept map or a diagram and after that each group must explain why we come up with that words and why it is related to ICT. The activity that we had is just an overview about the topic, after that successful activity, Ms. Tampos started to discuss the topic.
As a student, We learned many new things in the subject “Empowerment Technology”. In first lesson we discuss about the introduction of ICT or Information Communication Technology. ICT deals with the use of different communication technology such as mobile phones, telephone, internet, to locate , save, and send information or files. ICT introduces us to the fundamental of using computer systems in an internet environment. As technology becomes more and more embedded in our culture, we, the learners, must compromise and allow ourselves to have more and better experiences that allow us to engage successfully with technology and prepare us for the life after school.
Several international companies dub the Philippines as the “ICT Hub of Asia”. It is in secret that there is a huge growth of ICT related jobs arount the contry, one of which is call center of BPO also known as Business Process Outsourcing Centers.
Computer is an electronic device for storing and processing data, typically in binary form, according to instructions given to it in a variable program
We learned more about what ICT is, on the different types of technology that can be used for communication. Also, the whole definition of the internet and the father of internet that is Vinton Gray Cerf. We learned that the meaning of “www” is world wide web and who invented it was Tim-Berners Lee.
There are two types of web page, static and dynamic. Static web page is known as flat page or stationary page in the sense that the page is “as is” and cannot be manipulated by the user. Dynamic web page is a more upgraded type of web page, the user is now able to see website differently than others. The web 2.0 or the dynamic page has four features. First is folksonomy, it allows the user to categorize and classify information using freely chosen keywords on popular social media sites use tags that start with a pound sign or hashtag. Rich user interface, content is dynamic and is responsive to users input. User participation, others are able to place a content on their own by means of comments. The last key feature is the long tail, services are offered an demand rather than on a one-time purchase. This is synonymous to subscribing to a data plan that charges you for the amount of time you spent on the internet. The web has also version 3.0 or the semantic web page it is designed cater to the individual user. Provides a framework that allows data to be shared and reuse to deliver web content specifically targeting the user.
There are 4 trends in ICT. First is convergence it is the synergy of technological advancements to work on a similar goal or task. For example, besides using your personal computer to create word documents, you can now use your smartphone. Social Media is a website, application, or online channel that enables web users web users to create , co-create, discuss modify, and exchange user generated content.
There are six types of social media. Social networking is about socializing through the internet, an example of this is Facebook. Bookmarking Sites are sites that allow you to store and manage links to various website and resources. Most of the sites allow you to create a tag to others. Example, Stumble Upon. Social news is about news. Media sharing is more on posting pictures and videos, and example would be Instagram. Microblogging is like a blog of a person, an example is Twitter and Blogs and forums are also examples of social media.
We also learned more about mobile technology. The popularities of smartphones and tablets has taken a major rise over the years. Each brand of phone has a different type of operating system. IOS is used in apple devices. Android is and open source OS developed by google. Blackberry OS used in blackberry devices. Windows phone OS is a closed source and proprietary OS developed by Microsoft. Symbian is the original smartphone OS, used by Nokia devices. Web OS is originally used in smartphones, but it now can only be used in smart TV’s. Windows mobile is also an exampe.
As we go deeper on our discussion, I also l learn that there are three types of pictures such as. JPG pronounced as “jay-peg”, .PNG pronounced as “ping” and lastly the .GIF stands for Graphic Interchange Format. I also learn the methods on how to embed files, the Method 1: Embed PDF Object, Method 2: Embed PDF Icon and Method 3: Link to external PDF. We also learn the easiest way to Use Basic Functions:
1. Create the table with rows and columns of table.
2. Select all desired cells.
3. Go to HOME/FORMULA tab, find the AUTOSUM command.
4. Click the dropdown arrow and select the desired function.
As students, it is important for us to realize the importance of such things. We learned that file organizations were really important. They are the one that compile and organize computer file, softwares, etc. in order for the computer to work properly. Microsoft Office tools on the other hand, greatly help a lot as far as profession and business are considered. For us, they are “office suits” of the windows. They are responsible of creating, compiling and organizing documents and reports.
We are already in the computer era; and internet is so popular. Internet is not complete without Web Services, E-mail Software and Instant Messaging Software. They made communication even faster and more reliable. E-Tech Is Loving Knowledge. Empowerment Technologies (E-Tech) or the ICT for Professional Tracks has done great help to us, the students, ever since. Through ICT, students are able to surf the internet and get ideas that are needed for school works. It also made us global in perspective in such a way that we are always updated with the current happenings in the locality and even the world. Through ICT, we can also get easily get in touch with our family and relatives since Social Networking Sites (SNS) are already popular. Because of ICT, we learn. Loving ICT is truly loving knowledge.

A Christmas Miracle (Pt.1) AU
Request-"Hey hoe I got a request for you do a Micheal Mafia boss au with a female reader and he helps her out like she drops her wallet and he finds it and sees she’s not doing so well so he feels like helping her only to over time fall for her and then so on."
Summary-"(Y/N) is a struggling college student who loses her wallet, only for Michael to find it and he takes a liking to her and starts to shower her with gifts but the catch is, she has no idea who he is."
Pairing- Michael Langdon x Reader
Warnings- slight angst, slow burn, slight fluff
*This story kicks off day 4 and I really hope you enjoy this. This will be a series that I'm already starting to fall in love with! Remember my ask box is open and I'm always taking requests! I write for Cody and any other character he has played minus David for obvious real life reasons and I wish to respect him as a person as. I also write for other AHS characters.*
______________________________________________
Day 1
It was just like any other dull morning, minus the fact it was December first. Michael didn't hate Christmas per se, he just never had a good memory of any past Christmases. His childhood was all sorts of fucked up, a family that never really gave a shit about him and who quiet literally threw him out onto the streets. He bounced around from place to place not really staying for long, never fitting in, never belonging anywhere. As he got older, now in his early 20's he's made a name for himself. Sure it wasn't of the best circumstances but how he saw it the world chewed him up and spit him out like he was poison, so he figured why the hell not and became the poison the world thought he was. He wasn't a fast acting "poison", no he was one of those classy poisons. He never bothered to get his hands dirty, he had people to do that for him. He also wasn't a bad person but if someone pressed his buttons the wrong way they had hell to pay. After his rise to power everyone stop looking at him like the freak no one cared about and started trying to be the biggest kiss ass, trying to get on his good side but he saw through their facade.
(Y/N) was a 22 year old sophomore at college who was just barely scrapping by. Her home life growing up wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either, her dad left when she was in middle school leaving her mom to raise her alone. Her mom had a steady job so money was never really a problem. Once (Y/N) graduated high school her mom gave her two options, either go to school or be kicked out. So weighing her options she opted for school but her mom was no help really, yeah sure she would send a carepackeage every 3 months or so but that was it. Thankfully she got a full ride thanks to her high test results but that only pays for school. She was stuck with paying for her own place and food, which she was barely managing to afford with her 2 jobs.
Her day was going just as shitty as it could be, she was late to class, got chewed out by her professor and on top of everything her mom called and threatened to disown her because she got a B- in one of her classes. She had just made it home from job number one only to realize she didn't have her wallet on her, "Fucking good one (Y/N) that had all your money in it." She said to herself bitterly.
Michael had just walked out of the small coffee shop when his foot kicked something, "What the hell?" He questions looking down to see a wallet. He bent down picking it up and he opens it, inside he finds an ID that told him the owner of said wallet, one (Y/N) (Y/L/N). Also inside the wallet he found only about $100 max along with credit cards and a few business cards. Turning on his heels he heads back inside to ask, "Um excuse me does anyone know (Y/N) (Y/L/N)?" He asks as he leans against the small little counter, it coming to just above the middle of his thighs due to his towering form.
"She works here, how can I help you?" A guy Michael assumes is the manager comes forward wiping his hands on his apron.
"I'm an old friend, and I just got into town I was just wondering if you had her address wanted to drop by and surprise her." Michael say flashing that charming smile he knows works on everyone. Sure enough the manager nods grabbing a napkin and he writes down the girls address.
"Here you go, she's lucky to have a friend like you." He says shaking softly and Michael smirks enjoying how much power he has over anyone he comes into contact with.
"Thank you." Is all he says before dropping his smile and he turns and walks out of the shop.
"You lost your wallet?" Rachael asks (Y/N) as the dinner rush calms down.
"Yeah it fucking sucks it had all the money I had left for the rest of the week." (Y/N) groans cleaning off the plates she had just picked up.
"Do you know where it is?" She asks and (Y/N) shrugs leaning against the counter looking at the clock.
"My other job, or any where between there and home who knows." (Y/N) says taking off her apron getting ready to leave.
"Well I hope you find it." Rachael says and (Y/N) nods collecting her stuff.
"Thanks Rachael." (Y/N) says giving her a hug before heading home.
Michael knew he shouldn't have entered her house, magic or other wise it wasn't right. When he got to her little apartment he was just going to leave her wallet on her door step with a little note but when he got there he just felt the urge to go in. He chocked it up to not wanting to just leave her wallet out for anyone to take, so he took it upon himself to enter and leave it on her coffee table. He was going to leave right after, he really was but once he got a look around her apartment he noticed she was worse off than he first thought. Not really much food in her pantrie or fridge, a small couch and a small tv on the opposite wall. Not really any decor, it was all just so plain. He cursed himself for entering because now he felt the urge, no the need to help this complete stranger. So he did the best he could do for the time being, he found an envelop and put $500 inside with a little note. Then like that he left not leaving a trace anyone was there and on his way out of the building he told the person at the front desk to put the envelop in her mail box.
"Really good job (Y/N) You can't find your wallet anywhere." She says to herself as she enters her building. She pulls out her keys and goes to her mailbox pulling out the stack of envelops and magazines. She sighs turning and making her way up to her apartment. She opens her door and turns on the light and enters before closing the door behind her. She throws the mail on the coffee table and turns to go walk into the kitchen when she stops and turns back towards the table. There she saw it, her wallet sitting perfectly in the center of the table, right where she had thrown the mail. She walks around her couch and she takes a seat picking up the wallet and she opens it, sure enough it was hers. She laughs shaking her head, had it been here all along? She questions in her head as her eyes shift to the mail and she sees an envelop that simple reads "From A Friend." She sets her wallet down and picks up the envelop and she examines it. She notices it's kinda think and heavy but she shrugs as she opens it. She nearly throws it when she sees the money inside, tears form in her eyes as she takes out the little note.
"I know you don't know me yet, but I've noticed you struggling and I felt the need to help. So I've left you $500 dollars hopefully that is enough for now. I have a feeling this won't be the last time you hear from me or the last times our paths cross." It reads and she sees it's signed with two simple letters, M.L and a tear falls from her eyes.
Day 5
"Ms. Mead I have a job for you." Michael says sitting back in his office chair as his adoptive mother stands on the other side of his desk.
"Yes, what is it?" She asks placing her hands behind her back and he smiles up at her.
"I want you to keep a tab on (Y/N) (Y/L/N) and report to me anything you find out about her." Michael says folding his hands into his lap and his pale icy blue eyes shine with wonder.
"Right away." She says but she gives him a questioning look to which he waves her off.
"Thank you Ms. Mead." He calls after her as she closes the door.
"Do you know who this person is?" (Y/B/F) asks as her and (Y/N) relax at her place.
"No idea but he has left small little gifts after that $500." (Y/N) shrugs placing her drink on the coffee table.
"It sounds like you have a rich, powerful secret admirer." (Y/B/F) teases causing (Y/N) to blush.
"Oh as if." (Y/N) fires back slapping (Y/B/N)'s shoulder.
"So any news?" Michael asks later that night as he gets ready to leave.
"Her favorite color is (Y/F/C) and her favorite flower is a (Y/F/F)." Ms. Mead says and a smiles finds its way on to Michael's lips.
"Perfect." He whispers to himself, grabbing his jacket and he leaves making a beeline for the nearest flower stand.
"How can I help you tonight sir?" The lady at the stand says and he can see her check him out. He scoffs giving her a once over before waving her off.
"I would like a bouquet of 12 (Y/F/C) (Y/F/F) for my girlfriend." Michael says stressing the word girlfriend. It seems to do the trick considering she looked down disgusted.
"That will be $10." She says handing him the flowers and he smiles handing her the money.
"Thank you." He says very curtly before he walks away.
Michael makes it to (Y/N)'s apartment and a small smile pulls at the corners of his lips as he sets the flowers on the door step and knocks on the door before turning and walking away. He sees her open the door and then he sees the biggest smile appear on her face as she picks up the flowers. "There's my beautiful girl." He whispers to himself softly before turning and walking back to his car.
"Was it him?" (Y/B/F) asks from the couch and (Y/N) nods closing the door.
"Yeah it was." She says a smile plastered to her face.
"You're so hopelessly in love with him and you don't even know what he looks like." (Y/B/F) says and (Y/N) rolls her eyes.
"No I'm not." Is all she says setting the flowers on the table as she gets a vase and puts water in it before placing the flowers in it. Little did she know was she was destined to meet her secret admirer and little did she know she will fall so helplessly in love with him and he her.
