When it came out I made a very smart decision to listen to Malevolent episode 30 right before bed. So obviously after i woke up in the middle of the night I checked the ceiling, and I forgot I have an Ed Sheeran poster above my bed and it scared the fuck out of me.

Okay so

Episode 30 slapped, just gonna start there.

It was really lovely to see John and Arthur talking about things properly? Like the whole section where John asked about Daniel and gently got Arthur to open up about his difficult relationship with his father in law? It's such a small thing but also, it shows so much growth in both of them? John pushed, but only as far as absolutely necessary and Arthur let him!! To go from Prison Pits and their constant fighting about John trying to know anything about Arthur to honest conversation is so wonderful 🥹🥹

Don't get me started on the whole 'you did it out of love, you're my friend Arthur,' because I will actually start crying oh my god. There is so much more trust and love, in whatever sense you want to read it (personally I'm all on board the aromantic Arthur qpr train) but it's so!! Important!! They love each other!!

Also what the fuck was that with Arthur's dream and John's,,, vision? Are we having shared nightmares now???

I'm really interested for how Daniel will react when we get there, Marie reacting to Arthur's scars really reminded me, like... Arthur is so changed now. He's so physically and emotionally different, I think it's going to make for a very interesting conversation with Daniel honestly!

ssssooooooo. you won't believe it, but we are here. again. back from our friendly visit to the Dreamlands.

missed the voices (my ritual of listening in the dark, eyes closed, under the blanket and hugging my plush Artie. i like rituals. i need them for comfort.)

old woman's voice that sounds like a real old woman's voice :) (English speaking folks don't know, but i remember an example of a male actor playing and voicing an old witch (a wonderful one!) in my first language quite well)

cursed/haunted attic rooms are wonderful :) it's a very comfortable place, except a few details and _visions_ John has.

what's interesting... Arthur's nightmares include Yellow now. (i want to hug Yellow. no saving or helping or fixing. just this) is it guilt, human?..

what's even more interesting is. no bag, right?

Specifically in 30:

The way that Arthur kept assuring John that he trusted him. He didnt want John to think he was ignoring him or brushing him off or letting him think his concerns were worthless.
