Saat Dia membangunkanmu di tengah malam hari dengan lembut, kamu justru hanya melihat jam saja. Oh ternyata pukul 12.00 dan malam masih panjang. Saat kamu terbangun karena hendak buang air kecil. Oh ternyata masih pukul 02.00, nanti saja tahajudnya supaya bisa sholat di waktu yang lebih utama. Kemudian sekembalinya kamu ke tempat tidur, kamu hanya menarik selimut karena kedinginan lalu melanjutkan tidurmu. Dan pada akhirnya Dia membangunkanmu dengan terkejut, hingga kau menyadari adzan subuh sedang dikumandangkan. Kamupun menyesali kenapa tak bersegera untuk sembahyang sedang Dia berkali-kali membangunkanmu. Waktu emas itupun terlewat begitu saja. Padahal di waktu itu Rabbmu turun ke bumi untuk mengampuni hamba-Nya yg memohon ampun, mengabulkan permohonan bagi hamba-Nya yang berdoa, meninggikan derajatmu menghapus kejelekan aib dirimu dan memberikan ketenangan dan kebahagian di dunia dan akhirat. Maka teruslah berusaha untuk menghidupkan malam dengan sembahyang. Azamkan dengan kuat setiap kau hendak tidur.

My pendants are slowly coming out of the bath, and they look so good. These are tiny handmade watercolor paintings that are adorned with 18k gold leaf. They are then permanently encased in copper. They are so hard to photograph! They look soooo much cooler in person. I am going to patina them black, so the gold pops. Maka tetaplah kamu pada jalan yang benar, sebagaimana diperintahkan kepadamu dan (juga) orang yang telah taubat beserta kamu dan janganlah kamu melampaui batas. Sesungguhnya Dia Maha Melihat apa yang kamu kerjakan. {QS. Hud/11 : 112} Ayat diatas menjadi salah satu ayat yang lebih sulit dan berat untuk dilakukan menurut Rasulullah saw hingga membuatnya cepat beruban. Mengapa demikian ? Sebab di dalam kitab-Nya, Allah memerintahkan pada kita untuk beraqidah yang benar, beramal salih, meninggalkan kebathilan dan melakukan ketaatan secara kontinyu hingga kita diwafatkan.

Memerintahkan pada kita untuk tidak berlebih-lebihan dalam batasan-batasan yang telah ditentukan oleh الله. Dia yang tidak pernah lalai, selalu melihat dan mengawasi setiap apa yang kita lakukan baik yang disembunyikan maupun yang terlihat di hadapan makhluk-Nya. Tampak jelas sulit dan beratnya untuk beristiqomah. Apalagi keimanan kita yang pasang surut dan berbagai fitnah dunia yang bisa melunturkan semangat beristiqomah. Dan hanya orang-orang pilihanlah yang bisa Istiqomah. Semoga kita termasuk kedalamnya. Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim Challenge accepted!
