Day 7 - library
I’m home this week for break so I haven’t had a chance to visit the library lately. But here are some pictures from my parents house - they have so many books it’s practically a small library anyway!

Day 28: coffee, tea or hot chocolate?
While I like all three (to varying extents), my heart is forever and always with coffee, as most of my followers will already know by now. I often don’t get enough sleep (or at least I feel like I don’t, thanks to my 6am wakeups!) and this stuff is practically my life source in times like these - seriously, I drink 2 or 3 shots a day, definitely more if I’m feeling like it, and it tastes so flipping good. Find me a place with good coffee and I’ll hang around it till the day I die - maybe I won’t ever die, because even just the smell reinvigorates me.

[ 3/100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY ] -> Friday, March 31st
MARCH STUDY CHALLENGE DAY 31: What did I achieve this month?
This week’s spread came out super cute and my bowl of strawberries (which by the way are drenched in sugar cause I can’t tolerate them any other way) match the little signpost I drew 😋
For the month of March, I feel like I only completed 2 out of my 6 goals. I’m not fond of making excuses, but this was a tough month. With the midterms and most difficult exams of the semester falling around the same time, it was nearly impossible to remain consistent with most goals such as obtaining my license, uploading three YouTube videos, practicing my dance routines biweekly outside of rehearsal, and saving money (<-- ESPECIALLY THIS ONE because my card declined in the middle of the month). As a result, I had to cut down on my spending to almost nothing and I also gave up Twitter, but just until the week of spring break. I started attending my classes more and my dancing has significantly improved 😁. Although my work ethic hasn’t improved for homework/studying, I’m really trying to improve in April by going to academic advising to switch majors and consulting a therapist on campus since I’m not ready to admit to my parents that I’m not doing so well. I considered going in for tutoring, but that might be a little unrealistic for my schedule (but idk, we’ll see). February was bad, so I can confidently say that March was better. I’m hoping that the coming month brings even more positive change into my life!

Habits to get a high GPA
I’m going to talk in first person because this is my plan to reach one of my most important academic goals: to get (and maintain) a high GPA.
Note: this is based on today’s prompt for the March study challenge by @littlestudyblrblog -what do you want to achieve this month?
My university classes officially start this month, so I want to get into some habits before it’s too late, they are:
Use the library: Don’t want to be that kid that only remembers the library when exams are approaching.
Study everyday or every two days: I think we already know that you retain information better if you constantly revise it.
Try to do more than asked. Just because there is no homework, it doesn’t mean I can’t practice or learn more.
Take classes seriously: Education is expensive, so there’s no right for me to skip for no valid reason or not paying attention.
Join a study group or something similar so I can practice with other people and see if we can help each other out.

[day 28. coffee, tea, or hot chocolate] Tbh, the only two drinks I consume are water and root beer. ;D
I was so freaking productive today! I got my bio notes rewritten, my bio homework done, my lab unit done, my next lab unit studied for, and my math homework done. I’m planning to finish off the day by doing some research for an English essay and writing a review sheet for history chapter 3 + lecture.
I want to go to a get together with my best friends tomorrow without guilt HAHAHA.

Day 2 & 3 - favorite time to study/favorite book
Hey everyone! I’m a bit late, but I’ve been wanting to get back to posting this month so I thought @littlestudyblrblog s March study challenge would be a great way to get back into things!
Recently I’ve found I’m very productive in the mornings - as long as I’ve gotten enough sleep and actually get out of my apartment at a decent time! Learning to check in with your energy levels throughout the day is super important, and something I’m working on this semester.
I love Harry Potter and Percy Jackson, but my favorite book might be Code Name Verity (its one of the few books I actually brought with me to college!) Its a story about two women in WWII, a Scottish spy who got caught, and her best friend, the pilot who flew her into nazi-occupied France. 10/10 would recommend

✿ Day 27: favourite book you’ve studied for school ✿
I just missed like 7 days of this challenge but hey I’m back for good! I studied this book for my baccalauréat and at first, I thought it would be boring. Turns out to be the most interesting book I’ve studied. ♥

MSC 9/31 9.3.17- Your favourite fonts
Sorry I’m posting so late, I only just figured out what to do for this post! These are just a few of my favourite fonts that you can access on dafont very easily! I get these on my phone by installing Phonto from the App Store, going on to dafont.com to type in the font I want and download to open in Phonto. You can use fonts to add things to your photo, especially for 100 days of productivity, March study challenge and other editing shenanigans!

Day 6: science or humanities?
I used to take an even spread of both disciplines - two science subjects (biology and chemistry) and two humanities subjects (legal studies and economics), then dropped both humanities and kept both sciences. Then I went on a two-week science camp in January and enjoyed it so much that I want to study science (Bachelor of Science Advanced AND Honours!) at university, undertake postgraduate science study and do science research for a career. That, and the fact that today’s photo is my biology notes (wrote notes on meiosis to help myself understand it better in preparation for my test on Friday), hopefully answers today’s big question without me even having to explicitly state which subject I prefer.
(just in case you don’t know: I flipping love science. 100% certified science nerd. I would take 14 units of science if I could and I want to live in a lab for the rest of my life. I know this all sounds a little weird but pls just let me indulge my passions omg science is literally the best!!!)

ʚ 2nd mar 2017 ɞ : favourite time of day to study
for me, it can be any time of the day only if the place is noiseless and peaceful♡ but i think i’d rather study during the day since there’s sunlight which makes it easier to study although it sometimes burns my skin
let’s do this! it’s fun, trust me ʕʘ‿ʘʔ

2/3/17 - 11MTA revision for NCEA internals I'm a day behind on this challenge by @littlestudyblrblog so I'm going to post the first two parts in this one post. This month I hope to achieve: Three excellences in my two internals that are next week and in my ongoing English internal due later this month, which is why I'm actually studying at home (most of my pictures are of my notes in class and most of the time I don't even bring my books home 😅🙈). My favorite time to study is generally in the first half of the day although I don't have time to do anything before school (something I'm trying to work on)
