Anyone that writes metas about the characters? I follow a lot of people that analyze and speculate about ships, which is fun, but I'm missing posts about them in an individual light lately. Sinclair Foster is dead. The one person who showed Pamela honest-to-goodness compassion with no strings attached, the only one who really understood, is dead.

She didn't cry when she found out. The others were panicking, of course. Lyf wascrying on Marius' shoulder for days on end, Amelie locked themself in their apartment and didn't leave, but Pamela just stood there, quiet.

It was only afterwards that the rage kicked in. Everything they'd done to protect them, everything they'd sacrificed, everything they'd been denied, and they just left. Now all that remains is an empty apartment and a guillotine about to drop.

So, Pamela does all that it knows how to do and starts breaking shit.

The echo that might be Lyfrassir Edda followed this universe's Marius von Raum out of the room, trying to ignore everything else.

If they pay attention, there's tinges of pain that aren't theirs, just at the edges of their senses. More pain that is theirs, just waiting to creep back in. Echoes of the reality waiting for them, of the place they don't want to go back to. They rather prefer this dream, they think.

At least here, they can see their Marius, and pretend they know he's safe. At least here, someone recognizes them. At least here, they know someone's looking for them.

"You heard me say I had an idea," they say carefully, trying to speak as clearly as they can. "Well, if you can hear me, I do have an idea still, and I'd love to have your help, but that's going to require some cooperation."

They hope this Marius can hear them after all. Maybe it was just luck, last time, or a trick of the wind. But hey, optimism's gotten them places before. Maybe it can get them somewhere again.

Marius looked around for Nastya, not knowing if she was around the building or if she'd gone back to the ship for some alone time with her. If she was around, she'd be with Ashes or Ivy, but neither seemed to be around, meaning that Nastya was likely back on the ship. Meaning Marius probably was wasting his time looking around for her, but maybe she was with Sinclair or Pamela or someone!

He was absolutely wasting his time.

The glimmer was around him and he did his best to ignore it completely, but he was starting to hear the voice again, too. Which made it difficult to ignore it. He was losing it, he feared. It sounded almost like Lyf. Almost. It was off. It wasn't his Lyf's voice, but that didn't necessarily mean it wasn't a Lyf's voice.

No... it wasn't real. Marius shook his head. "I don't hear anything," he said to himself, trying to convince himself that was the truth. "I.. You're not real. You're not a real voice, you're just in my head."

Lyfrassir sat on the grass in the park, staring numbly in the distance. So much had happened. Too many emotions to process, too many things running through their mind. Between Yog-Sothoth being taken care of and Sinclair coming back with no memory... they missed being able to drink and actually get drunk. Earth alcohol was far too weak. They needed something strong. Marius was kind enough to give them space. Even if it made them feel awful for pushing him away. He was going through it, as well. Still...

On top of Lyf's head rested a pair of cat ears, and they couldn't quite figure out how to get them off. Same with the small tail that was more like a rabbit than what they had before. They already weren't good at passing as normal, but the shape shifting certainly wasn't helping. The ears perked up upon hearing a familiar set of footsteps. "I asked to be alone," they said, scoffing.

Melancholy Christmas

The day is quiet,snow lazily falling from the sky and covering the ground in a soft blanket. It's almost idyllic, and fitting for such a day. If Christmas spirit was a real thing,that would certainly be it.

Amelie watches through the window,and wonders. How many people in this apartment have been blessed by the warmth of the Christmas spirit? How many of them are happy celebrating the day, laughing and enjoying one another's company?

Well, it's certainly not Amelie. It feels a pit in their stomach anytime it tries to think of the day. It makes them want to cry. Oh,how much they'd give for a moment of the magic others have.

They never actually told anyone what they're going to do during Christmas,and everyone naturally assumed they'd stay with Jackson. It was an easy lie to spin. But they instead stayed in their apartment doing practically nothing. Once again,a moment where they felt more like a ghost than anyone real. It couldn't tell if the loneliness it felt was mundane or supernatural.

Everyone they knew had someone else to make the day special,Lyf had Marius,Mort had Pandora. Sure, Jackson would have plucked the stars from the sky if they asked to,but they couldn't bring themselves to see his face. It knew the façade would drop, revealing just how broken it actually is inside. He could mend the broken pieces together easily,but he had done too much for fae already,it was unfair.

Holidays, especially Christmas, weren't their favourite either way. Growing up,their father made sure to let everyone know how excellent he is at throwing a perfect Christmas,and how much he loved his daughter. He always gifted so much,yet it was never what they actually wanted. To avoid being called ungrateful,it just put on a fake smile and pretended to adore every little thing. It was quite easy.

A part of them did wonder,what was James up to? Was he just as alone,or was he surrounded by people who respect him for all the fakeness he displayed?

Funny how nowadays they were the one to carefully fake the jolly spirit. Going around and gifting everyone, singing Christmas songs at the top of its lungs while everything inside of them weeped.

It was harder without Sinclair,too. It was their favourite holiday…

It's fine,they tell themselves, just keep lying,and no one will find out. As long as others have a good time,and believe in the magic, it'll all be successful.

Do you all have bedrooms? And if so what are they like?

We have our own apartments. Jonny, myself, and Brian share one. Two bedrooms, one for the three of us and one for Niki, our daughter. Our room is pretty big, but the bed takes up most of the room. There are so many pillows and blankets. Not to mention weaponry. Windows are covered by black out curtains. Otherwise, we'd get a lot of light. Other than the empty whiskey bottles, it's pretty clean and nice.

Ashes and Nastya share an apartment, but Ashes pretty much lives alone because Nastya tends to spend more time on the ship. I know they ended up knocking down a wall or two because they weren't happy with something and painted over the walls. You ever need a cigarette, go over to theirs.

Raphaella and Ivy share an apartment, as well. Lots of books in the living room and lots of beakers in the kitchen, you know? Perfect library/lab.

Marius shares with Lyf and Sinclair. It used to be pretty loud up there. Just speaking style wise. Painted walls blotched with rainbow from Lyf's, uh... accidents. Since losing Sinclair, though, the apartment seems to have... I don't know. Lost it's energy.

TS just kind of "sleeps" anywhere.
